"Arrived on site for a dishwasher not sealing correctly and having condensation by control. Upon further inspection I found the latch and catch not making strong enough contact. I found the door seating properly, I removed the gasket and tried to close it, I removed the outer door and tried to push the latch on with the inner door, I found the ho fed on good shape, and none of these closed the door properly. I found a large dent on the door indicating maybe there is some frame issue not allowing door to close properly. I advised the customer of my findings. I found the door gasket needing to be replaced and to be warped and torn. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F9E1 for diverter cannot find position. I ran a test cycle and could see water leaking from the diverter. I advised the customer not to use it due to the leak until repaired.

Tech support asked if any onions or garlic is exposed in fresh food section,found both not in sealed containers per tech support odor from onions and garlic are migrating into freezer section and when the water freezes it absorbs the odor. Per tech support customer needs to place garlic or onions in sealed containers and customer will need to clean liner walls with white vinegar then with soapy water."

The original complaint was the dryer is making a vibrating noise. When we arrived the customer let us know that it is also not working on sensor dry. We tested the unit and found it excessively rattling. We gained access to the moisture sensor and tested it at the harness and found it working properly. We gained access to the motor assembly and the vent pipe. We placed sound pads under both and around the vent leading out of the unit. We reassembled the unit and tested it. It still had a slight vibration noise coming from it. We tested the outlet thermistor and the moisture sensor from the control and found both good. I am ordering the control to fix the sensor dry. I spoke to the customer about the construction of the room and that the hard feet of the dryer against hard tile are making the noise louder than it should be from. I suggested the customer get some kind of felt or rubber pads to put under the feet to absorb the vibration of the machine.; ordrng 1 W10875486 (Control)

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not agitating/cleaning clothing. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E6. Cleared the code and continued with testing. I found the unit not agitating. Tilted the unit back and found the actuator jumped out of track. I adjusted the actuator and placed it back in the splutch assembly track and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Should the actuator jump off track again, it will need to be replaced."

"Arrived on site to diagnose oven that customer says didnt have consistent temperatures when baking, and also had a broken handle. Found handle end caps split, resulting in handle breaking off. Ran temperatures in bake cycle, and found temps getting over 100 degrees hot. Preheat triggered 350 at almost 500 degrees. When cycling you could constantly hear relay chatter, even when temp was just dropping. Advised property manager (Quinn) fix would be 2 new handle end caps, control and temp sensor to resolve.

"Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed part. Removed freezer door and taken picture of current FC condition (see SD-QUICKPIC). Found top drawer missing faceplate. Removed ice buildup around fan and bimetal. Removed failed evaporator assembly and installed new. Tested fan operation. All tested good. Allow 24 to 48 hours for correct freezer temperature and 48 to 72 hours to produce ice. All tested good, no water leaks detected.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher not getting water to it. Upon arrival the customer said he already removed the water line to the dishwasher and found good water pressure. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F7E1 for no heat and F6E6 for incoming water temp. I advised customer on running water at sink until hot before washing the unit. I then ran a test cycle and found the unit filled but the motor did not run. I monitored amp draw to the heat and found it was working as designed. I gained access to the back of the unit and checked for voltage at the motor while running a test cycle. I found 120V going to the motor indicating a bad sump and motor. I installed the new sump and motor. I then ran a test cycle and monitored the bottom with the toe plate off and watched for leaks. I observed no leaks at the end of the service. The unit is now running as designed.

Arrived on site and inspected loud fan noise. I was able to pinpoint the noise to the freezer fan harness. Found the blade and motor was causing the louder than normal noise. "Arrived on site to diagnose popping or cracking noise, determined that the noise referenced is the defrost heaters and that the unit was set to the global defrost routine in service diagnostic test 126, we changed the default mode to basic timer for defrost every 8 hours. "I arrived on site for a washing machine getting an OE error code. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and manually activated each component and found unit not draining. I then ran a test cycle and it stayed on sensing, for it was not draining the water out of the tub. I manually activated each component and found the unit not draining. I gained access to the drain pump and put my leads into the harness. I then activated the drain and found no voltage. I unplugged the unit and ohmd out the drain pump. It ohmd out at 26ohms which is good. This indicates a faulty control and possibly harness.

Arrived onsite for the washer making a clicking noise. During testing found that the the actuator was causing the issue. This was the new type of actuator. Removed actuator and installed old style actuator and washer tested good. Complete

Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not filling during heavy duty cycles and is making a lot of sound. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that during the heavy duty cycle that the unit is not filling fully with water. Tested the unit and confirm the customers complaint. Went through user care guide and technical documentation and found a service pointer (W11499341) on this issue. The heavy duty cycle starts with the extra power being on during the cycle which starts with a little water and will continue to add water throughout the wash cycle. According to the technical data sheet that is working as designed. Ran through agitation and the unit sounded like it was working as designed.

"Arrived on site dishwasher not draining at the end of the cycle. We entered diagnostics and found fault codes F10e2 vent electrical problem f9e1 not draining. We gained access to the bottom of the unit and inspected all of the wiring harness and found the float switch not seated connector not seated properly. We reconnected the float switch and ran the unit through an express wash. After 30. Insets we canceled out of the quick wash and tried to drain the unit. The drain pump would not come on. We gained access to the vent motor and disconnected the vent motor and found no change. We gained access to the drain pump. We found the drain pump extremely hot to the touch. We inspected the sump assembly and found no blockage. We tested voltage to the drain pump and found good voltage. We ran the drain pump for severally minuets out side of the sump assembly. We found when the drain pump gets to hot it stop functioning. When we let it cool down it works again, indicating there is a mechanical failure in the drain pump causing it to fall at the end of a cycle, after multiple drain and fills. We called techline I advised of the situation. He advised there is a service pointer going out for this issue. And to replace the drain pump. We replaced the drain pump. I retested the drain pump several times and found it working every time. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s still intermittently making ice. Inspect immunity and work area. The customer advised that the unit ran perfectly for two days and then stopped making ice for four days consecutively. She advised it did come back on for a day or two but is in a very intermittent on when it decides to make ice. I ran harvest test and found water and ice inside the tray indicating that the water had been refilled within the last hour. The unit did recognize that the bin was present and not full. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7730689072. He requested that I move the wires underneath the door while the harvest test is running and advised that if there was any problem with any of the connections underneath the door or a problem with wiring that the unit would not continue to run through the harvest cycle. Everything ran as designed even with me moving the wires around from side to side. He advised that based on my findings and replacing of the icemaker that he would make no other changes to the unit. He advised that if there was an electrical issue, the icemaker just would not work. I asked him if he were to swap out some thing what he would go for and he advised if we needed to replace something to replace the icemaker. Replaced ice maker and tested harvest and fill functions. Unit ran as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that it?s not that the unit does not have power but that is unit will not go into agitation. Tested unit and confirmed that the unit is attempting to agitate but is jerking the basket instead. Looked underneath the unit and found the actuator not engaged with the cam underneath the unit. Fixed positioning and tested unit five times between agitation and spin cycles and the unit ran as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed separator. Upon arrival I was able to install the new separator assembly I then reassembled and tested the unit and found that water and ice are dispensing as designed and separator is no longer allowing airflow through the freezer door. Arrived on site for washer making a grinding noise. Upon arrival customer showed me a video indicating the type of noise or hearing both during agitation and spin. Upon further diagnostics checks I found no error codes stored but when I ran a agitation cycle I found a loud knocking noise occurring in the gear case after inspecting underneath the unit I found a lot of oil splattered all over the capacitor splutch motor and actuator as well as on the floor underneath the washer. I was able to remove the agitator and span or not but office will need to reschedule once availability of gear case is known in order for us to complete the repair as well as getting a new capacitor and actuator; ordrng 1 W11423758 (Gearcase) and 1 W11395618 (Capacitor) and 1 W10913953 (Actuator)

Arrived on site for dryer needing previously diagnosed blower housing assembly. Upon arrival disassembled unit and removed housing. I ended up not being able to remove blower wheel from housing and also installed new wheel. I reassembled and tested dryer after repair and found units noise no longer present. Arrived on site for a broken refrigerator door switch. Upon further inspection I found the FC door switch visibly broken. I removed the old door switch and the liner was to tight around it and caused damage to the liner. I now cannot get the new switch properly into the liner. The light switch is now working however. I called techline and spoke to Anthony and received SR# 7730683801. He recommended getting the liner repair kit and fixing the liner. Also to trim some of the liner to better fit the switch and trim off some insulation if necessary. "Arrived on site to diagnose no cool issue in freezer, upon initial checks found that the pantry UI was not powered, checked the UI and found corrosion on the control, checked the harness and found that every line was cut. Put refrigerator into test 4 to verify that the compressor was functioning as designed. Ordered both harness and UI.; ordrng 1 WPW10769076 (Pantry ui) and 1 W11170612 (Pantry harness)"

"Arrived on site for freezing in fresh food. Ran diagnostics thermistors passed,checked damper operation good,adjusted damper in enclosure changed defrost setting to basic."

Arrived on site for a washing machine with a motor making a hum. Upon arrival the customer stated the issue was the unit would sense and fill and then do nothing else. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F8E1 for no fill or long fill. I then ran a test cycle and after it threw an F8E1 error. It sounded as though it ran as designed. I then manually activated each component and found the cold valve was not initiating. I took the hose off at the wall and checked water pressure and it was good. I then checked the harness to the valve and it was good. I then checked voltage at the harness and found it getting 120V indicating a bad valve. I am ordering the valve and the office will need to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11222849 (Valve)
