Arrived onsite for dishwasher not powering on. Upon inspection I found good voltage and polarity at the wall. I accessed the junction box for the unit and found the common wire had come loose from the wire nut. I corrected the wiring and was able to power on the unit for diagnostics. The unit passed all tests in diagnostics. The customer brought to my attention one of the rack stoppers was missing or had broken off. I replace the stopper with my van stock#(WPW10082861) the unit is working as designed and no leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

Upon arrival customer stated that they did not notice any water leaking from the back of the fridge but instead they were finding that the freezer itself had water filling the bottom floor of the freezer compartment and upon further inspection I found the drain line was clogged but I could not find any indications of ice or hot air leaking through the front door gasket Ive been inspected the drain line and found the drain line to be clogged I ended up replacing the drain line and adding silicone to ensure that the drain line was sealing up underneath the compressor compartment area after making repair I cleared out the drain line inside the freezer and then verify that water was allowed to pass through without hot air escaping back up into the unit. No leaks before during or after repair call complete

I gained access to the drum and inspected the guide wheels, I found the quite wheels prematurely wearing down. Over loading the unit can cause the guide wheels to prematurely fail and not spin correctly which causes the motor to work harder. I spoke to the customer about installing the repair kit which has both guide wheels, a new belt and motor pulley.

Cleared the ice and inspected the fill tube for cracks and found none. When I tested the unit, I found that the water was slow to enter the reservoir and the condenser fan was coming on. Also, customer advised that when it did make ice, it was overflowing. Tested the thermistor and found it out of range. I removed and replaced the inlet valve, condenser fan motor, and bin thermistor and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Placed some permagum around the evaporator line to keep the fill tube from freezing. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4816FW2 Arrived on site for washer making a tripping noise and screeching noise during the spin cycle at the beginning and end of each wash. According to the customer. Upon arrival customer had showed me some videos of the sound getting worse during the spin cycle and after running some tests I could not find any error codes in diagnostic mode but I was able to confirm that during spin the gear case was grinding internally. I didnt replace a gearcase and cam assembly due to the gearcase wearing down the cam also and after reassembly and speaking with SW towards the beginning of the diagnosis was able to determine that parts were accurate and that everything is fully functioning as designed with no issues before during or after repair call complete

DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL MDB8959SKZ0 "Arrived on site for DW making a loud hum. Customer stated the unit was quite for several months and then suddenly started making a loud hum a few months ago. They said it was during end of cycle. I put unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F8E2 for inlet valve fill problem. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and I pull hear the motor hum but did not seem excessive to me. I heard the unit fill, the motor run and diverter switch, the dispenser open, the unit was heating, and the unit would drain. I called techline and spoke to Andy and received SR# 7730253408. Andy agreed that the hum is normal operation. I did find the door switch sometimes sticking and making the fill cycle several times. I adjusted the switch and the unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW5100HC0 "Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making a grinding sound. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit screeches as soon as it starts to spin. Placed unit in an auto test and confirmed customers complaint. Placed unit in a manual hi speed spin test and noticed the unit scratches when its ramping up. Looked underneath the unit and did not find any evidence of an oil leak. Removed cam and found cam was good. Found no rub marks from the belt. I called tech,he and spoke to Leon Sr # 7730246925. He advised the issue could be due to a track issue between the motor and the control but that you would hear it from the main control while its spinning. I ran through another test and did not hear the sound from the control. He then proceeded to tell me that the issue would have to either be a gearcase related issue or a cam related issue.
