Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that will not start. The customer stated the control panel will beep when a selection is touched but the lights will not turn on and the start button will not work. I found exactly what the customer described. I was able to enter diagnostics and all the lights on the control panel illuminated. I found no stored error codes. I ran the service cycle and the machine completed the cycle and worried as designed. I verified good voltage and polarity at the J-box. After the service cycle the unit was still responding the same way with all the selections beeping but the indicator lights never turned on. I did a power reset and everything started functioning correctly. I ran the service diagnostics cycle again and it completed the cycle and worked as designed. I then tested all the selections on the control panel and all responded correctly and the indicator lights turned on with each selection. At this time the unit is working as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Robert SR# 7737550768. Robert agreed with me that if the problem continues to change out the OWI because its about the only thing in the machine that can effect the 5VDC circuit. Call complete.

Went to pull the agitator off and broke it get it off. Since they have not approved the repairs and I did not have the agitator stopped the repair. "Arrived onsite for dryer not drying. On install found heat set for medium turn it to high and found the washer was set to medium spin. I set the spin to xtrra fast to get more water out of the clothes to help the dryer dry them. Informed the customer to wipe the moisture sensor once month to keep them working correctly. The unit heated to 267?, it is getting hot enough to dry clothes. Customer is going to try the new settings in see if it helps. The smell that is in the dry is the new heating element burning off the factory oils. Air flow was good on the unit. SR7737549540."

Did not find and other settings to change the amount of detergent that gets distributed into the unit. The customer advised that it is doing the same thing her previous washer did where it will make a clicking sound in the counterclockwise rotation of the agitation. The customer showed me two videos within the past three days where this is done this. I did confirm the customers complaint and checked the agitator. Found no abnormality with the agitator. Checked underneath and did not find any signs of rubbing from the rotor, stator, or slider. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Butch Sr # 7737550704. He advised that based on the complaint, the only three things that could cause that sound would be the slider, rotor, or gear case, and to replace all three. Replaced all three parts, and did advise the customer to contact us back if further issues persist. I call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not making ice. Customer said they can hear it cycling sometimes and sounds like it's filling but nothing is coming out. Found an E5 error for the thermistor, which can also be tied to unit not filling. The refrigerator compartment is packed with items and the back wall is fully blocked, which I believe is causing cold pockets to freeze the fill tube since most cooling air is right at the top shelves. I power cycled the unit and advised clearing out the RC and moving everything off the back wall so air can circulate, and function should resume. If this does not resolve we can replace the icemaker and control. Call completed."

He advised that he had tried to hook up the unit to Wi-Fi and even called into whirlpool to try to get help with it. He advised that nothing seem to work. He advised that based on the customers, complaints and issues, the issue would have to be with the user interface, and order the console. he did advise that the customer will need to be hooked up to the Wi-Fi because he stated that when the control senses that the unit needs to be updated and the UI is not hooked up to the Wi-Fi that it can cause issues such as a loss of power message, Ordering the part and the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to an out of stock and PSP item.; ordrng 1 W11600370 (UI)"

Arrived onsite for a washer that has power but will not start. I found the tub full of water. I tested voltage out of the control to the pump and had 0VAC. I tested the resistance from the control to the pump and had 1.8 ohms. I verified the resistance at the pump and had the same. I changed the pump and the control. I tested the unit in the service diagnostics cycle and the unit completed the cycle and works as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I found ice on he evaporator cover and after pulling the cover off I found an ice and frost block under the fan and on the capillary inlet. I found the compressor only starting about every fourth try and tripping the overload all the other time and drawing 9 amps when tripping. I tried a different start device but had no change. I found the system fully charged. I changed the compressor and drier. I added an access valve to the compressor. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 5.25 ozs of R134A. The unit had good pressures and was working as designed. Call complete.

KDTE234GPS0 arrived on site to inspect a dishwasher tripping the circuit breaker. Upon arrival the customer stated that the circuit breaker trips at the beginning of the cycle. Cycled the breaker and the light blinked 6 times. Per the circuit breaker manufacturer 6 blinks is a fault that requires the unit to be replaced. Cycled the breaker and the unit stopped blinking. Ran service diagnostic test on the dishwasher and found that all of the components are working as designed with no water leaks observed during service. This requires safety call. But they are closed. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise of the unit got stuck in the middle of the hardest and would not continue or make ice. Did confirm the customers complaint and replaced the icemaker. I tested the unit and the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not cleaning dishes. Upon arrival confirmed failure and found f4 e3 in diagnostics. Upon further inspection I found the motor receiving 120v but not turning on. "Arrived on site for washer skipping past rinse cycle and sometimes not starting properly. Upon arrival found f7e6 in diagnostics. Found motor windings both at 5.7 and capacitor functional. Found actuator could shift between agitation and spin settings. Found no rub marks, no oil leaking, or cam or gearcase failures under unit. Found control not sensing correct speed of motor and replaced it. Retested unit and found washer working as designed. Call complete"

Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. I verified the issue and found good airflow. I found the heating element broken. I removed and replaced the heating element and tested. The unit now operates as designed.

Arrived on site to test unit for drawer not closing properly. Replaced rails and customer stated unit is now closing better. Job complete.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating frozen fill spout. Updated the m/s and cleared the fill spout. Tested the valve. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good. Cycled and filled while onsite.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that wont make ice. Inspected unit and work area. Took temperature of the freezer section and found it sitting at -1?F. Tested the icemaker and found that it would not turn. Attempted to remove the icemaker, but was unable to. Found the backside of the icemaker cover catching on something. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7737543721. He advised us to go ahead and yank it out and let him know if there was any damage done to the cabinet. I was able to successfully remove the icemaker and replaced the icemaker. Tested the unit and found the unit harvest and filled as designed. Call complete."

On arrival verified complaint of spray arm came off the sump. Visual check of sump shows no stress or damage. Replaced spray arm and operational check good. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling and making a loud noise. Upon arrival confirmed failure and found large defrost issue in fc with ice frozen all over evap coil and frozen around fc evap motor, found the following results for thermistors and heater P5-1&2(6.31k),3&4(13.4k), 36.1ohms. Found 124 from hi control to heater in defrost mode. Called techline and reported findings Sr#7737538832. Was instructed based on findings that ui logic wasnt registering when unit needed to defrost. I replaced ui and hv control as well as evap motor asm. Instructed customer to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps after I removed all ice from coil and installed parts. Call complete"

Arrived onsite for unit with no display. Upon arrival inspected unit. Inspected wiring and found loose connection. Verified proper voltage to unit but found discrepancy. Inspected further and found Breaker was tripped. Customer stated breaker has recently tripped several times. Ran components test and all components passed without error. Customer stated unit tripped last when heating to 425 degrees. After components test ran cycle at 425. Unit was functioning properly. Notified customer that components that would cause a breaker to trip all test good. Unit is now functioning properly. Advised customer to have builder to replace breaker

Arrived onsite to replace previously diagnosed parts. On arrival found that customer did not give 24-48 hr thaw. Customer stated after previous tech made adjustments the noise and ice buildup stopped. Inspected and and found no buildup. Did however see the freezer door issue. Door was not closing properly allowing warm air in thru the bottom left side. Replaced brackets that included rails. Tested and door is now closing properly. Job complete
