I put unit into diagnostics mode and found that the unit would not harvest but would fill and activate IM motor in motor test. I found stored error code E5 for IM sensor issue. I found the ice box fan running as well. I checked temps in FC and found them at 6°F when set at -3°F, the RC at 37°F when set at 34°F, and the ice box at 20°F after I had ran the IM and had the heater turned on. I tested voltage to IM sensor at the control and found only 2.67VDC. I also found the FC evap fan working as designed and no ice or frost build up on evap cover. I found a bad HV control and IM on the unit. I am ordering the IM and will return with the control to install..; ordrng 1 W11294907 (Icemaker)"

I preheated the unit and found that at roughly 250°F the door would slightly pop open and no longer come in contact with the latch. The preheat is functioning as designed, but this is causing the unit to fall on its face. I found the hinges and receivers working as designed with no damage and the door closed with soft close fine. I however found damage and creasing on the chassis right above the receivers. I also found more damage on several points on the panel above interface. WASHER WHIRLPOOL MHW5630HC1 Arrived onsite for washer that locked and wont open. It is also full of water. Upon inspection I found the unit locked out and full. I accessed the rear and tried vacuuming the water from the drain hose but barely any water came through. I felt the tub hose and it felt like it was packed with sand or dirt. I was able to get the door open and vacuumed out the water I could see in the tub. I accessed the pumps clean out port and found the filter packed with either cat litter or sand. I was able to massage the tub hose and unclog the unit. I re assembled the unit and tested function. The unit is working as designed at this time. And no leaks were detected during time of service. I advised the customer use some afresh to clean out the unit. Job complete.

I tried heating a cup of water and found the mag would just buzz loudly and abnormally while the turntable was spinning. I accessed the main control and found one of the wire connectors on the MW relay was black and melted. I found one of the door switches faulty which likely caused the burn out. I advised the customer on the repairs already needed so far and that we would have to replace the switch before further testing of the other components.

Customer also stated leak seemed to be intermittent and has not happened in the last few cycles. When activated the hot water valve energized, but it sounds like low flow. Water was entering the unit but maybe not at the same flow of cold water. Unit seems to spin and drain fine. Did notice that while running test a lot of residual soap and bubbles where present. Oversudsing could have led to a intermittent leak. Instructed customer on use of HE detergent and amounts.

Upon further inspection, the customer devised that the original unit was replaced in February and the new unit wasnt getting water then it sounded like the drain pump wouldnt shut off. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F6E4. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed in diagnostics. I inspected the floor switch and while retesting, I was able to move the float up and down and the inlet valve would turn off and on. But arrival I found that the unit was unplugged and off upon further inspection a power outlet I found that there was power out it was not grounded at all When doing a polarity test and advise customer that before the repairs made they will need an electrician out there to verify that the outlet is fully functioning with no potential issues I could lead to future problems with the fridge. I also found that after plugging in it running the unit that the evaporator fan would kick on the thermostat was functioning as designed at the condenser fan were all functioning well. I have found that the amp draw to the compressor was rapidly spiking between .55 ohms and 3.2 ohms add an extremely rapid rate almost every second the compressor is trying to run. Upon arrival I was able to check in verify voltage to the unit was stable at 120 V the unit was not pulling too many amps it was staying under the 20 and not tripping any fuses or breakers I was able to confirm customer complained that after running the microwave for two different test at two minutes each and then trying to run it again a third time would find out the first two test would be fine but the third test would not have to disassemble the microwave I found that the issue was that the high-voltage transformer is starting to fail but there is also an airflow issue that was led to this with the exhaust vent on the microwave itself I was able to repair the exhaust vent issue but we will need to return with a new high-voltage transformer in order to make sure that the problem is not reoccur office to reschedule once customer knows when theyd be available to have us back out.
