Arrived on site for a washing machine that still not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected) error code. Tested unit water valves and found both valves barely pulling water in. The customer had advised on the previous trip that they have low water pressure to the home. He wanted to verify that that was their problem before calling a plumber. Went to check water pressure and found sediment and sand buildup inside of the valves. Replace water valve and tested unit. Unit begin working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s not making ice again. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through a harvest test and found the unit thinking the ice bin was full and not completing a harvest cycle. Removed icemaker cover and found a clump of ice causing the arm not to come down all the way making the icemaker think that the ice bin is full. Found the icemaker itself partially broken. Found insulation buildup causing the door seal not to close properly and thus creating frost and ice inside the icemaker area. Removed obstructions and replace icemaker. Tested the unit and the unit began working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a standup freezer that is still having defrost issues. Inspected unit and work area. Found the evaporator covered in frost. Checked drain hole for potential air leak and found no air leak present. Checked thermistors for resistance and found the evaporator through Mr. registering 5.9 ohms. Spoke to PR and was advised that the unit is registering the temperature between 40 and 50?F. He advised that would cause the unit not to go through defrost. Replaced thermistor and defrosted unit. Customer asked for us to document this with Techline

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working and unit not leveled. Upon further inspection, I found the ice bin full of bagged ice and the ice maker arm was in a position that stops the IM from harvesting. Moved the arm up into the off position then placed it it back down and the IM began to harvest and dispensed water into the tray. While checking the ice maker, I found the unit rocking back and forth to the back right of the unit. I pulled the unit out and removed the back cover to find the back right wheel pin not in place and the pin hitch missing. Using a pin hitch (W11251741) from my van stock, I repositioned the pin and placed the hitch on the pin and rail to secure the pin from falling out and tested the roller. Leveled the unit and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working and unit leaking water at the bottom of the unit. Upon further inspection, I inspected the FC section and found no ice in the bottom section. I inspected the door gasket and found an air leak at the bottom of the door from the door not being closed good and frost forming on the gasket. Cleared the frost and advised the customer of my findings. Tested the ice maker by jumping points T-H and when the IM began to harvest it was making a creaking noise as if it were having a difficult time harvesting. When the water was to dispense into the tray, no water came in. I removed the ice maker assembly and found the fill tube frozen. Removed the ice and placed the Im assembly back in place and retested. Ice maker began to harvest then dispensed water into the tray. I suggested waiting to replace it to see if it fails again.No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, customer advised that they had some glass break inside the unit while washing and got most of it out, but the unit wont drain. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1-drain. I cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed up until the drain cycle and I could hear the drain pump making a grunting noise but not draining. I removed the remaining water from the tub then removed and replaced the drain pump and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

The customer advised that the unit frosted up in the freezer section about two weeks ago and there was frost all over the entire inside of her freezer. Inspected evaporator and found no defrost issue inside the unit. Confirmed customers complaint of frost in the freezer section as most of the frost had been evaporated but some was still present. Checked gaskets for air leaks and found none. I did find frost buildup inside of her slides and remove the ice from the slides. The unit began opening and closing properly as designed without any resistance

"Arrived on site to diagnose dryer not drying properly on various settings, verified that there was no existing warranty with the customer and updated the serial number as it was incorrect. When initially checked the different cycles the timer switch felt off like it was skipping over selections, just to verify we tested all thermistors and the heating element for voltage and continuity, all tested good. Found the issue was a combination of the timer and the customer needing to get their vents cleaned, instructed customer of vent cleaning and of the timer needing to be replaced. We replaced the timer and tested the unit, unit is functioning as designed aside from needing vents cleaned. Job complete."

Valve its self was not sporadically spitting out water. Customer had seal to replace in fill line and I was able to repair valve issue. I then retested unit and found unit still making buzzing noise. I replaced main control but unit still made noise. I then called whirlpool commercial techline and spoke with Freddy commercial techline.He had me test voltage and harness from board to relay device. After tests we found relay was bad causing noise not the main control. He recommended we return with relay and main control as a back up for relay. "Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking. Upon arrival customer stated door gasket had recently been replaced a few days before our arrival. Upon further inspection I found motor and pump assembly all working as designed with no leaks, I then disassembled door and found the spacer seal between door gasket hard as a rock and not holding water in tub allowing it instead to leak out top middle portion of kick plate under door. I also found racks are slowly starting to rust out but not at an emergency point yet with rust. Unit can be repaired but when to gasket insert spacer being bad office will need to reschedule once availability of parts is known. Also recommend new inner door half to help insure unit is holding gasket in place well.; ordrng 1 WD08X10015 (Gasket insert) and 1 WD31X10004 (Inner door)"

Customer advised that he had replaced a fuse on the unit and that it didn?t work. Checked voltage at the outlet and found the hot and neutral reversed on the plug. Confirmed issue with the multimeter. Used an extension cord to plug the unit into another outlet. Found the unit still wouldn?t turn on. Checked all door switches, and found all had continuity. Went to check voltage at the fuse and it immediately once the fuse was pushed in, the lights came on. Tess of the unit several times in the unit is not working as designed. Call complete."

The customer advised that the unit icemaker has been worked on and or replaced four times prior and that the same thing keeps happening every single time they fix the icemaker. She advised that the unit overfills and causes damage to the actual icemaker, whether pieces fall off or the motor burns out. Found the icemaker over filled with water. Tested water pressure and found really high water pressure coming through the water dispenser. Turned the water pressure down at the wall and tested the unit again. Found water pressure was pushing out water normally. Replace the icemaker due to a broken ice blades. Tested unit and unit filled properly and finished out a harvest cycle as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for I microwave that would not heat or turn. Inspected unit and work area. Removed cover and found the secondary switch burned and broken. Replaced switch and tested unit again. Unit still had an issue with turning on and heating. Remove the cover again and found that the plastic switch holder had been stripped where the screw goes at the top giving the top some play that would not allow the primary switch to be pressed when the door closed. Moved the screw to another spot on the holder and tested the unit. The unit began to hold in place as designed and it is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not cooling the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Found massive frost all over the entire inside of the freezer section. Checked for stored error codes and found an E26 (fz side high temp alarm), E27 (ff side high temp alarm), and E33 (defrost circuit issue) error codes. Tested thermistors, damper control, evaporator fan, and defrost circuit. All tests ran as designed. Found the defrost heater showing the defrost thermostat closed and the unit began to heat. Found the evaporator coil is covered in frost causing the high temperature issue. Spoke to PR and was advised that it sounded like the door was left open causing this defrost issue. Upon further inspection, customer advised that they washed some flannel sheets, pillow cases and a towel and the unit would not spin out the water during spin cycle. Also, customer advised that the dispenser is leaking water during wash cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics and found error codes F0E5 & F0E2. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. Unit is operating as designed. Customer has a water softener system. I found the customer is using too much detergent which is causing too many suds (F0E2). I drained the remaining water from the unit and removed and replaced the WL sensor and blew through the sensor tube and it was clear. Retested the unit and it continues to operate as designed. I pulled the unit out and tested voltage at the control and got 97V from the common (red) at K207 to the NO (black) on K203. Verified L1 from the NO on K203 to neutral (124V). Went to verify L2 from the red at K207 to neutral and only got 97V. I advised the customer of my findings and showed him the voltage readings. I recommended that they have an electrician inspect the wiring/breaker to the unit. Unit left turned off at the breaker, job completed."
