"Arrived on site to diagnose washer banging when spinning. Examined unit and found suspension has failed, resulting in an excessively bouncy tub assembly. Customer also mentioned black foam under the unit. I checked under the unit and found the shield had a hole rubbed into it from the cam, and will need to be replaced along with the belt and splutch. Unit is sitting on a leak pan with ridges, which are likely contributing to the shield getting squashed. On return visit we need to replace suspension, splutch, belt and shield, as well as increase the lift. Return visit set for 9/18. Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Customer syayed the bottom of the freezer is working but the top of the freezer and Rc section are not cooling well. I found that when the door switch is closed the fan is not running. I verified correct voltage coming to the fan indicating a failed motor. I replaced the motor and now the fan is running and will circulate cold air. I advised the customer to give the unit a day before buying product to ensure it is now cooling properly. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking and wont stop spinning. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the machine would not stop spining and tripped the breaker. He then advised that when he lifted up the washer to check the motor that he found a gray milky liquid underneath the machine. He advised that he thought he figured out the spinning continuous issue and showed me the control board he replaced. He stated he bought it off the Whirlpool website to try and fix it faster than we could get out here but could not figure out the leak issue. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I checked underneath the washer and found the leak coming from the capacitor. I called the Whirlpool safety team and spoke to Sherelle SR# 7742350201. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher door, not closing. Upon further inspection, I tested the door functions and found that when closing the door, the upper right corner is rubbing on the tub. I placed the unit in diagnostics, showing no error codes and tested. While testing, I gained access to the leveling feet and adjusted the right foot, and retested the door functions, and the door is now closing more smoothly. The unit completed testing and is operating as designed. The customer provided a clear glass cup that had white stains on it. I found the customer has a water softener system, so I checked the rinse aid settings. I found the setting too high and adjusted it to A1. I demonstrated to the customer how to adjust the settings just in case the lowest setting is too low. Unit is operating as designed, and no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect oven not cooling evenly and burning food always on the right back side. Upon further inspection, the customer informed me that they had consistent over cooking in the right back side. I checked tested the oven at 350 and used a thermocouple to measure temperatures. In the middle of the oven the average cycling temperature was 351 degrees. I then tested the temperature at the exact spot at which the customer was having the issue and measured 357 degrees average. I called techline to document and to report my findings. I informed techline that I could not find a reason why the food keeps burning and why there is a higher temperature at that area. I explained that the customer is getting consistent burning there and maybe there is a possible defect in the lining. I sent the photos of the results that the customer has been getting. I explained that the customer is using the correct bakeware and correct rack and that they are even giving it extra time to preheat. I also explained that they are getting undercooking when using convection. Techline advised the customer to call customer care. SR 7742375486"

I found the unit agitating as designed and spinning in a low spin. When I tested in high-speed spin, the unit failed to gain RPMs. I tilted the unit back and gained access to the clutch and slider, and found a scratch of groove in the clutch and some scratches on the slider. I removed and replaced the clutch and slider and calibrated the unit. Retested in diagnostics and the unit operated as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice dispenser not dispensing. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of them attempting to get ice and only little slivers of ice came out of the dispenser and when they opened the FC door, they found the ice chute full of ice. I opened the FC door and found the ice chute full of ice again (photo). I removed the ice and tested the dispenser, and after several tests, a cube of ice got wedged in between the ice door and its housing (photo). Also found that due to the ice clumping in the chute, the ice is beginning to leak and drip down to the tray and overflow the tray and flow down the front of the FC door causing water streaks to form. I contacted techline and spoke to Jonathan and advised of the history, complaint, and my findings today. Jonathan advised that if I could not duplicate the issue, then no repairs could be made. I expressed my concerns that the customer provided a video. Jonathan believes the ice container needs to be cleaned to keep the ice from forming clumps and dropping down into the ice chute, and clogging it up. Jonathan recommended having the customer contact customer service to discuss replacement of the FC door since the damage is cosmetic. Jonathan advised that all info documented today would go on the previous SR#7742124495. I advised my customer and the property manager of my conversation with techline and provided them with the SR number and recommended they contact customer service to discuss a resolution. Before I left, I removed the ice container and inspected it, and found a small piece of the bin broken. I replaced it with the container that was prescreened for today's service. "Arrived on site to inspect washer noises and getting off balanced. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics, showing no error codes and tested. While the valve was testing, I found the unit is not getting enough water, which would explain why the unit is getting off balanced. Once the unit had finished with testing, I tilted the unit back and inspected underneath the unit to find belt shavings in the pulley shield. I removed the belt and pulley to find gearcase oil on the cam assembly and underside of the pulley (photos). When I reassembled the parts and placed the belt back on, I found the belt stretched, which is possibly what is making the screeching noises. I advised the customer of my findings and am ordering the valve and will return with all prescreened parts. RETURNING TECH TO REPLACE THE GEARCASE, CAM, BELT, AND VALVE. "Arrived on site to diagnose microwave that had a control panel that looked melted. On arrival found the right side of the microwave was melted / burned. Customer had said they had some oil cooking that caught fire, and the resulting flame had melted / caught fire on the control panel. Called safety with findings, 7742362057. Microwave is far too badly damaged for repair. Customer advised they would need to replace the unit since its not fixable and not the source of the damage. Call completed."

Verified that ice machine was not turning on. Disconnected drain pump and plugged in power cord and unit came on. Plugged drain pump back in but would not drain. Removed drain hose from sink and found tape plugged drain tee. Removed tape and reinstalled drain hose. Plugged power cord back into drain pump and unit powered up and drained fine. Advised cx not to use tape to make connection tighter. Advised cx to cut the drain hose end back to make connection tighter. Ice maker is working as intended

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking water from the dispenser. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she noticed water had poured out in her dispenser area, and she found an ice clump inside of her ice chute. She advised that she removed the ice build up and the issue has since gone away but didn't know of there was a problem with her water dispenser or ice maker. I checked the ice container and found the ice container full of regular sized cubes. I tested the ice dispenser and water dispenser multiple times without a failure. I did explain to the customer that sometimes because of the ice chute, ice will get stuck in the ice chute and cause the ice to clump and thaw in the chute itself. I did explain to the customer that if they hear what sounds like ice dispensing but no ice coming through the door, that they may want to check the ice chute for stuck ice. I did advise the customer that this is normal operation and a fairly easy fix when this happens (just clearing the ice from the chute). I checked the temperature of the the machine and found the freezer at 1?F and the refrigerator at 38?F. The unit is working and operating as designed. No parts were installed."

WRF560SEHV00 Arrived on site for a refrigerator not making ice. On arrival I checked temperature in the FC it was -2 . The icemaker wire was stuck so we have a failed icemaker. Client also stated that the left side door would swing closed and that a different company had fixed it once. I inspected the hinge it has failed I'm ordering left hinge. Also the water despenser was despenseing water to the right side. I was able to clean the despenser and now it works. Returning parts will be needed office to reschedule client for the soonest availability. I removed the ground wire and preheated to five hundred degrees temperature reached without tripping breaker. I rewired ground back on and preheated to five hundred degrees temperature reached without tripping breaker. I checked polarity and voltage readings are correct. I took amp draw only oven on it was 14.67 and with all burners on high and oven on it was 39.88. Product is working as its designed no parts used. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezing items on second shelf. Upon further inspection I checked temperatures and measures 37 RC and -2FC. I placed the unit into diagnostics and entered test 3 to check the operation of the damper. The damper is operating without issue. I advised the customer of the airflow in the refrigerator and that items can potentially freeze if placed on the rear of the shelf due to the design of the refrigerator. No parts installed. No water leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to test unit for frost accumulation. Customer reported condition has been present since moving in, with frost forming at top left and right corners of door.Inspection confirmed minimal frost buildup on liner above door, consistent with air infiltration. Gasket inspection found multiple sections not fully seated in track. Reseated gasket to ensure proper fitment. Further inspection identified frame-to-liner gaps around door perimeter that could allow warm air intrusion. Applied silicone sealant (W10841140) to all gaps. Advised customer to monitor performance. Arrived on site to inspect washer reportedly shaking and going out of balance. Upon further inspection I placed the machine into diagnostics and observed no error codes. I checked the leveling feet and found all to be making good solid contact with the floor and having even weigh distribution. I checked the shock absorbers and springs and found them to be good. I ran test 12 for an automated test. The washer operated as designed showing no issues. The washer is operating as designed. I advised the customer to let the customer know that they should not overload the washer.

Arrived on site four a refrigerator that has a freon leak. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advise that another appliance company came out and advised her that she is leaking refrigerant. It took temperature of the freezer section and found it at 20?F. I gained access to the compressor area and from the compressor extremely hot to touch indicating a failed compressor. I did not find any leaks but did advise the customer that she will need her compressor replaced. The office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability and need for a two hour service. No parts were installed. ; O-emld tckt

"Arrived on site to test unit for error code. Customer reported cycle initiates, then within 10 minutes error code begins flashing. Entered service mode and retrieved stored F8E0 (low fan speed) error code. Activated blower fan and confirmed correct voltage supply present, motor not engaging indicating seized blower motor. Replaced blower motor (W11598119) and retested operation. Fan now engages properly and error condition no longer occurs. Unit operating as designed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for reported smoking from back. Customer stated that during a cycle smoke was observed exiting from the rear panel, followed by the unit shutting off completely and becoming inoperable. Visual inspection of rear, internal cavity, and harness components found no evidence of arcing, thermal damage, or burn marks. No odor of electrical failure was present. Applied power to the unit and found console unresponsive. Observed that the diagnostic LED on the control was not illuminated, indicating control board was not supplying low-voltage DC output to the console. Confirmed console harness continuity intact, but console was receiving no voltage input, verifying control failure. Due to reported smoke condition and non-functionality, both the main control and console were identified as failed or compromised components.Contacted SAFETY to document findings under SR#7742346696. Per SAFETY instruction, repair authorized. Replaced main control (W11621180) and console (W11478525). Restored power, console powered on as designed. Performed calibration cycle, completed successfully. Ran a test cycle, verified proper operation of all load components with no abnormal odors, noises, or smoke observed. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for thumping noise. Customer demonstrated condition by starting a dry cycle, verified repetitive thumping noise during drum rotation. Gained access to internal components and performed full inspection. Blower wheel, drive motor pulley, belt, and roller bearings showed no signs of damage, wear, or abnormal movement. No evidence of imbalance or obstruction in blower housing. Inspected front panel assembly and identified multiple small rocks and debris lodged inside the felt. Foreign objects were interfering with drum rotation and causing the plastic drum bearing to impact the debris, producing the reported thumping sound. No damage was observed to the felt, drum bearing surface, or front panel track. Removed all foreign material from the felt, reassembled cabinet, and retested operation. Unit completed test cycle with no abnormal noise present. Thumping condition has been eliminated. Unit is now running as designed, no parts installed, job complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was making some noise customer had not heard before. Listened to a sound clip and identified the noise as splutch clicking. Disassembled bottom end and found nothing broken or damaged with the splutch. This is a normal operational noise with whiplash on agitation reversal.
