I unplugged the pantry UI. And tested the unit again. I found everything working as designed and the water dispenser working. Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and found heating element is physically damaged but is still working. Also found dishwasher is tripping GFI a few minutes into the diagnostic cycle. Amp meter is reading 6.3 when it trips. Customer provided a long enough extension cord to connect to a non-GFI outlet. Dishwasher Will now complete a diagnostic cycle without tripping regular breaker. Customer will confirm this later with a normal cycle. GFI may need to be switched to a normal outlet.

"Arrived on site to insect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit makes a loud bag in noise when the compressor turns off and the unit is leaking water from somewhere. I removed the back cover and inspected the compressor and found it hot and the condenser coils were dirty. When I unplugged the unit, the compressor shook vigorously and made the loud rattling noise which was the piston inside which is an indicator that the compressor is going bad. Also, I found the drain tube comp,steely clogged. I removed and drain tube and cleaned it out and reinstalled it. I found ice in the bottom the FC section due to the drain being clogged and when the evaporator defrosted the water had nowhere to go. Cleaned up the ice and water and advised the curstomer of my findings. They advised that the ice maker isnt working. I found that the dispenser door was broken and allowing warm air up into the ice maker area and it not harvesting. I tested the ice maker and found it not operating as designed. I am ordering the compressor, hv drier, access valve, all dispenser parts including the trim, CNOTE-3 HOUR JOB, CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION. Once plugged in I turned the unit on and it made a loud rattling noise so I turned it off. Removed the top panel and turned the unit back on and it is operating as designed. Being as the venting goes directly outside, I inspected he vents outside and found a large clump of lint sitting on the ground that was not there before. I removed the back panel and inspected the blower wheel and it is good. I advised the customer of my findings that the large clump of lint got caught in the blower wheel and got bound up causing the loud noise. Reassembled the unit and retested and it is operating as designed. No lint observed during service inside the unit, job completed. I recommended that the customer place a screen at the vent outside to keep unwanted guests out and make it to where they can remove to clean."

"Arrived on site for a dryer making a loud noise while running. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit was no longer making noise, but when it was it was a loud thumping noise. I ran the unit with a load of towels for over 30 minutes and could not replicate the noise. I gained access to the tub and found felt liners intact. I gained access to blower wheel and found no damage nor debris in it. I found the dryer working as designed.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged. Plugged unit in and could hear the fans come on, but the compressor did not. Tested amp draw to the compressor and found it at 0amps. I heard the start device click and amp draw was at 7.98amps, but then the start device clicked again and went back to 0amps. I removed and replaced the start device and capacitor and retested and the unit is operating as designed and compressor is showing .68amps. Tested ice maker with my jumper wire from point T-H and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s having a problem locking the lid. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Tested the lid lock functionality and found the unit not even trying to lock the lid. Replaced latch and tested unit. Unit began working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, I found the tub full of water; more than what gets dispensed on a normal wash. Placed the unit in diagnostics and drained the unit. Stopped diagnostics and inspected the drain pump and it is operating as designed. Due to having a long drain hose, I inspected the hose for kinks and found none. When I checked under the sink, I found the customer has an RO system and its drain tube is tapped into the dishwasher drain hose at the disposal and whirlpool does not approve of this type of setup due to when the RO tank drains, it back flows into the DW odds in hose and back into the dishwasher. If not caught in time, the dishwasher will flood the home. I explained this to the customer and advised that the RO drain hose needs to be repositioned to the lower pee trap to be able to drain directly out the home and not into the disposal. Also advised the customer that whirlpool will not warranty any repairs or damage due to the location of the RO drain hose. Placed the unit in diagnostics and tested showing no error codes and the unit operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service. Made recommendations for use & care as well as detergent and rinse aid use due to customer having a water softener. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that would leave clothes wet at the end of the cycle. I started the unit on a spin cycle but it would just continue to drain and never begin to spin, I could hear the motor hum but nothing happening. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found very significant of oil leakage. I also tried to freely spin the unit but it as catching very hard. I also found voltage to the motor but it not turning. I found the gear case and motor both bad and needing to be replaced.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine leaving clothes wet and not completing cycle. Upon arrival the customer stated she thought it may be due to the water lines she purchased. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F7E5 for a shifter fault. I then ran a test cycle and found the unit filled as designed, drained as designed, agitated as designed, but did not spin as fast as it should of and made a strange noise. I advised the customer her water lines are working as designed. I ran the high spin on the manual activation and found it not getting up to proper spin speed and still made the noise. I pressed down on the drum and found that the drum would bounce back up and down like a ball indicating bad springs. I gained access to bottom of the unit and found the shifter and gear case in good shape. I found the suspension bad on the unit and leaning to the back left hand side. The suspension will need to be replaced.

Arrived on job for complaints of not drying. Ran test and found heater working properly and thermostat cycles correctly. Air flow is good customer uses the sensor cycle. Replaced the timer but if symptoms continue recommended replacement of electronic control 3390537.

Arrived on site to test unit for damaged pane. Replaced panel test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit will get to the Rinse cycle and not spin. I tested the unit on a short cycle and using my small screwdriver, I wedged it into the door switch to be able to watch the unit operate. The unit filled and agitated as designed and when it got to spin, it continued to operate as designed. The unit went into a 2nd rinse cycle and operated as designed until the end of the complete cycle. I removed the console and found the lid switch had been spliced and re-wired using electrical tape and the tap was very sticky and slid right off the harness. I re-wired the harness using wire nuts (photos). Inspected the units drive system and all checked good including the coupler. Advised the customer of my findings and that I could not duplicate the complaint and the harness being re-wired. Customer advised their issue is intermittent. I recommended using the unit and if it continues to not spin for them to contact our office and schedule service. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for ice machine making a loud noise. I found the noise came from the recirculating pump and drain pump. I found it was due to unit not calling for water and dry running. I found 120V at the valve and in diagnostics it would not initiate. I tried to pour water into the reservoir to test the pumps, but I found the reservoir tray broken and leaking out where the drain pump is attached. We will need to replace the reservoir tray and the valve. Possibly the drain pump and recirculating pump as well, for I could not verify functionality of these until the others are repaired.

Arrived on site and inspected ice maker over filling and creating a mess in the ice container.Confirmed the complaint and found the fill chute was clogged with a massive ice block causing the incoming water to splash into the ice container and freezing.Used my heat gun to melt and remove the blockage of ice.Reassembled and unit began operating as designed.Customer witnessed the repair and was satisfied with the cause & effect explanation.Job complete

Im on site for icemaker not stopping ice production. Upon arrival I open up the freezer compartment and found that the icemaker was making ice but the reason it was not shutting office cause the silver arm that raises and lowers was not properly connected into the icemaker motor and was hanging freely in the unit. I didnt reconnected the icemaker arm to its proper amount of position and reassembled and tested the unit and verify that the unit is now fully functioning as designed with no issues and ice production inform customer to let her fill up with ice and see how it goes from this point.
