"Arrived on site for a dishwasher with an unresponsive UI. Upon arrival the customer stated that the UI would not turn on or light up at all. They tried cycling the power to it but it never worked. I tested the unit and found it responsive. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F2E1 for stuck key. I then ran a test cycle and found it ran through as designed. I informed the customer on my findings and that we could replace the UI for prevention, but at the time of service it was running as designed. The customer declined any repair.

Arrived onsite for the top freezer door possibly not closed correctly as some frost buildup at the top has occurred. Said that the customer had moved the hinges on purpose for the door to swing the other way. Looked at the door and went ahead and moved the hinge back a bit up top to get the door a little more leveled. The door closed with no issues and sealing perfectly. Did let someone know that the door May a bit of play when moving the door a bit as it is normal and nothing to be alarmed about. No issues at this time. Job complete

Arrived onsite for unit not responding to touch on the control panel. Customer stated that they had issues with the touch panel not responding when trying to turn it on or selecting cycles. Tested the unit and couldnt replicate the issue the customer was having as when touching the panel it was responding with no issues. Called tech line to report findings. Said to let customer know to monitor the unit if it continues to callback. When returning to order the control panel and check for voltage incase polarity is wrong causing the ACU to not respond properly. Spoke with drew got sr#7733205778. No issues at this time. Arrived onsite for unit having black or brown water sitting at the bottom of the unit. Looked at the bottom and saw some brownish looking water sitting at the bottom. Found that the garbage disposal was the issue as the water would back up and causing some of the water to run back into the unit. Turned on the garbage disposal to get rid of what ever was clogging the garbage disposal. Ran the unit and unit drained with no issues or water backing up back into the unit. Let customer know to run the garbage disposal to keep the issue from continuing. No leaks at this time. Job complete.

Arrived on site for unit not cooling still. Checked the amperage when the start device kicks on. Will get to 9 amps but then would go back to zero. The compressor is locked and not working. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not ceiling properly. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaints and found the slides bent specifically more so on the left-hand side. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that was clicking and did not finish the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they believed the same issue was happening again with this washer where it would clear cannot drain. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Tested the unit in manual high speed agitation and spin. I could not find any fault going back-and-forth between the two. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I asked the customer if this had only happened on one load or if it had been happening consistently. They advised that the unit had been working for a full month without any issues and it happened on one load. Thus, they did not try to use it again and called back in. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7733203071. He advised that based on my findings, there was nothing we can do at this point on the machine due to inability to replicate the issue. He said that if it only happened on one load, it might have been an issue with the load. He advised to make no repairs at this time. Advise the customer to try different size loads and to see if theres an issue consistently with this unit not being able to finish the cycle. I did advise the customer that if the basket is overloaded or the unit goes off-balance, they may find issues with the unit completing cycles. Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making a screeching sound during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit will complete a cycle but that it seems to be really loud when it starts ramping up into the spin. Tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. Checked underneath the unit and found the cam stripped. Replaced the cam and removed the motor to widen the gap for the belt to make sure the belt had a nice firm grip on both motor and cam. Reassembled the unit and ran the unit for an auto test. The unit began to run and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is continuing to drain and is telling the customer to remove the clothes or start a new cycle. The customer had the unit unplugged and immediately upon plug in the unit and the unit went into a drain and the error message popped up. Despite any attempts to remove the error message, the unit would not change the error message. Upon unplugging the unit, found the main control clicking on a relay seven times before powering off. Replaced the main control and tested the unit. The unit ran through an auto test and manual testing as designed. The customer did not have any close to start a new cycle but the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for dishwasher not draining. Upon arrival confirmed issue and after further inspection found that the PVC pipe bridging between the P-trap and the disposal had flip downward causing all the runoff drainage from the sink to flood back down into the drain line clogging it. After re-positioning the PVC pipe and clearing out the drain line I was able to reassemble and test the unit and found washer could fully fill agitate the water and drain with no signs of leaking as designed. Also instructed tenant at completion of diagnosis that disposal was still malfunctioning and we would notify American home shield that disposal will need to be replaced at some point. Call complete

Arrived on site for arrange not functioning properly. Upon arrival customer stated that the oven was staying on by itself and not able to be turned off after it was used for cooking. Also stated that the receptacle on the back left it sparked when trying to turn the burner off itself. Upon further inspection I found that the thermostat is getting stuck once it is powered on and heated to a certain temp and not allowing the thermostat to shut down once it is turned back off. Also found that the back right small 6 inch burner has mounts breaking off causing it not to sit right inside the receptacle or the drip pan causing it to then arc inside of the receptacle bit. Also found back left receptacle itself is starting to burn apart into a powdery residue due to age. At this time the back left receptacle the back right burner and the oven thermostat will need to be replaced to complete repairs inform customer the office or reschedule once availability of parts was known?; ordrng 1 WB20X5071 (Thermostat)

Arrived onsite for dryer making black marks on clothes and ripping clothes. Upon inspection found upper front bearing and lower duct assembly worn. Unit is cracked and has a gap on the right side. When speaking to customer found that customer was having issues with clothing getting stuck in assembly in that general area. Recommended replacing assembly. Ordering lower duct assembly WE14X25086 and upper front bearings assembly WE03X25092 .

Arrived onsite for refrigerator dispenser issues and stuck filter. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found filter housing failed. Ejector not functioning correctly. Will need housing replacement. Water dispensing issue is being caused by a partially freezing water reservoir. Customer had very little food product in unit. This can cause the cold air to drop and freeze the line. Recommended when food product is low put temperature settings at level 2 and when unit is fully stocked put temperature settings at level 3 (Ideal). Line was thawed and unit is functioning properly at this time. Will return with housing. ; O-emld tckt

Arrived onsite to replace previously diagnosed parts. Replaced fan blade (1). Tested unit and unit is still making contact with the fan cover. Contacted tech line for assistance. Recommended trying fan cover. Replaced fan cover and allowed for minimal clearance. Tech recommended replacing fan mount W10134126 . Inspected mount and found rear bulkhead pushed in. Adjusted panel and unit is now functioning properly. If symptoms persist will follow tech line recommendations. Provided Sr#7733199865. Job complete

Arrived onsite for washer making noise during spin cycle. Upon arrival put unit in diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Ran auto test and completed without issue. Ran high spin cycle and completed without error. Customer wanted to run with load. Loaded unit and tested. Still could not duplicate the issue.
