Arrived on site for a refrigerator with doors dented. Upon further inspection I found both FC and RC dented. I replaced both plus the nameplate and then tested the water on the FC and found it working as designed. I adjusted the gasket and the unit is now sealing as designed. I advised the customer to keep the doors closed for a few hours to allow the seal to set. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is still having issues starting. Inspected unit and work area. Remove terminal block cover and tested voltage going across all terminals while the unit was not calling for electricity. I found proper voltage between all legs when the unit did not call for electricity. As soon as I cycled the unit to a time dry high heat cycle and started pressing start voltage went from 123V to 50.1V until the drum and motor were at maximum speed, the voltage jumped right back up to 123V. I called Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7730625255. He advised that based on the findings and prior motor replacement, the issue still had to be an electrical supply issue. He advised that most of the problem with the electricians they send out, is that they only test the unit when it?s not under a load. He advised that most likely the issue was with a bad voltage line. The customer had me speak to the manager of the property and explained everything tech line went over with her. She is going to have another electrician come out to test the unit while the unit is under a load to verify that there is a line voltage issue. Call complete."

Arrived on site for washer not draining and making an odd loud noise during cycles. Upon arrival I entered diagnostics And found an oe error indicating long or no drain issue. During further diagnostics I found that during drain cycle pump was cleared with no blockage but inner bearing of motor were blown causing propeller to wobble and not drain water out. "Arrived on site to inspect washer no power. Upon further inspection, I found the unit plugged in. I pressed all keys on the console and the unit only beeped after every press. I unplugged the unit for approximately 1 minute then plugged it back in and attempted to place in diagnostics. Unit went into diagnostics and I checked error codes and found F0E5 & F0E3. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed until it got to,the spin cycle and it failed to spin and was making a rubbing noise at the rotor. Unit agitated as designed. I tilted the unit back and inspected underneath and found gearcase oil on the rotor, drain pump and all panels. I removed the rotor and found a large amount of gearcase oil on the inner side of the rotor. When I went to place the unit back in diagnostics, the unit failed. I cycled power to the unit and was able to get it into diagnostics. Checked error codes and got F6E3. Cleared the code and tested high speed spin in manual test mode. Unit operated fine, but continued to make the rubbing noise at the beginning the spin. I am ordering the gearcase, slider, clutch, rotor and will return with the main control. No water leaks observed during service, office to schedule return service. Upon returning, the gearcase, clutch and slider will need to be replaced and tested to see if the rotor is needed.; ordrng 1 W11423759 (Gearcase) and 1 W10754448 (Clutch) and 1 W10734521 (Slider) and 1 W11260238 (Rotor)"

Arrived on site for dryer not turning on. Upon arrival I found that the unit was getting 240 V to the outlet and the dryer was in fact turning on and heating up as designed. I then spoke with the customer in more detail regarding the situation and she had stated that American home shield had sent out an electrician and a dryer vent cleaning person and that the electrician told her the outlet was fine but the dryer vent cleaning person had informed the customer that she would need a new power cord due to the power cord melting. upon inspection of the power cord I did find that the right side prong of the power cord did have some small amount of melting damage around it and the prong had a tiny burn mark on it. I then looked inside the outlet and found that the right side prong connector inside the outlet itself is also damaged and falling apart and causing some internal melting around the inside of the outlet at this point if we replace the power cord and electrician would have to come out and replace the outlet first to ensure that the new power cord is not gonna run into the same problems as before. American home shield needs to be notified that it would be recommended for an electrician to come out and replace the power cord and outlet at the same time in order to complete repair. Other than finding issues with outlet and power cord I was still able to test the dryer and found that unit is turning on and heating up as designed and as long as an electrician can get out to make the repairs the unit will be ready for use by the customer once done. Call complete

Arrived on site for washer needing a previously diagnose main control after previous visit with techline on site. Upon arrival I was able to install a new main control and then ran a factory reset on the machine afterwords I put the unit into a manual diagnostics check and was able to fill the tub with water halfway full and then ran a high and low agitation test and found the unit functioning with no odd noises and then ran a drain and spin cycle and verify that the unit is no longer making any odd screeching noises or metal on metal sound. I informed the customer just to notify us if the issue order arise again that way we can call whirlpool techline for further assistance at this point. No leaks before during or after repair call complete

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is tearing up clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she wasn?t sure if the issue was with her washer or dryer but that she?s had two loads that have torn up towels. She advised the first time happened in September and then the second time happened just a few weeks ago. Said that it does not happen on every cycle but only seemingly with towels. She advised that Whirlpool told her to run a load with some pantyhose to see if they caught anywhere and they did not. Disassembled unit and could not find any areas where clothes could snag on or evidence of clothing damage or pieces of clothes stuck anywhere. I did advise the customer that the issue was most likely with her washer not her dryer.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed relay switch. Upon installing switch I was able to verify that the buzzing noise that was occurring was no longer having any effect on the washer and had gone away but I also found that the main control was putting the unit into a flood mode and after waiting 15 minutes I could not get the unit to exit flood mode and then went ahead and put in the new main control back in the unit and reset the unit I found after reassembly and during diagnostics and user mode testing that unit is fully functioning as designed with no buzzing noises or leaks of any kind. Arrived on site and inspected water leaking from the ice maker section.Confirmed the complaint and found massive ice buildup on and around the ice maker.I uninstalled it and used my steamer to melt all of the blockage from the unit.Reassembled and unit tested as designed.JOB COMPLETE

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that won?t drain and the control panel won?t light. Inspected unit and work area. Found the normal light flashing on and off and not allowing any selections on the user interface. I power cycled the unit and allowed allowed the unit to drain but immediately started flashing the normal button and would not except any further selections indicating a control issue. The customer advised that the unit is constantly filling up with water when not in use. However, she advised thatthe water is murky and smells bad. Checked unit and did not find water dripping into the tub from the valve. Checked drain hose and found it running downhill from the garbage disposal into the dishwasher. I did advise the customer that that will cause the unit to fill with water when her garbage disposal fills up.

The customer advised that the unit is making selections but that his unit had gone blank and all power was lost all scepter the UI. Arrived on site for a washing machine that won?t drain. Inspected unit and work area. Attempted to place unit in a drain and found the unit not draining. Remove front panel and remove filter. Found filter was clean and plenty of water inside the drum. Check voltage going to the drain pump and found proper voltage. Remove water from the basket and replace the drain pump. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is flashing lights and won?t complete a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Attempted to place unit and service diagnostics and wasn?t able to. Placed unit in a regular wash cycle and then canceled out the cycle to put the unit into a drain. The unit drained out and a soon as I open the door, the dishwasher stopped draining. Upon closing the door of the dishwasher started to drain again. Spoke to CS and was advised that based on my checks, the issue would most likely be with the main control. Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling and building up to much frost in fresh food compartment. Upon arrival customer stated customer had stated they had unplugged the unit earlier in the morning before my arrival and tried to let it naturally defrost. Upon further inspection I found on the p5-1&2 connections that the ffc thermistor was reading 3.3k ohms with the small amount of ice still encompassing it. Also found evap fan scroll running but not fast enough to push air around.

I disassembled the unit and punctured the dryer. I found the system empty of refrigerant. I replaced the compressor, evaporator, installed a non uv dryer and an access valve in the compressor. I pulled a vacuum and monitored pressures. I found pressures holding. I put a measured charge into the system and found pressures holding. I reassembled the unit. I tested the unit and found the evaporator forming a good frost pattern. Job complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose slow trickle from water dispenser. Customer informed us of the trickle and showed us with a cup how slow the flow was. We removed the water filter and installed the water filter bypass and retested the water dispenser, we found water pressure restored. We spoke to the customer and found out they are on a water softener, advised customer that there was no need for a filter while on water softener as it will clog the filter faster. Upon further inspection I found the UI buttons not responding and you could utilize the touch screen, but when you tried to start the oven to preheat nothing would happen. I powered the unit off for two minutes at the breaker. After I turned it on it was now responsive. I got the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F6E4 for UI not communicating properly with the control. I am ordering the UI and will return to install the UI and control. "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the compressor and found the evaporator not cooling/freezing. Tested the heat valve and it is operating as designed. I placed my gauges on the unit and tested pressures and found them to be at -25/100psi. Attempted to adjust the pressure readings by adding refrigerant and it failed. I dumped the refrigerant and vacuumed the unit for approximately 15 mins then added 5.75oz refrigerant and monitored pressures. Again, the pressure reading was closer to -30/90. While testing the last time, I could hear what sounded like the heat valve leaking while I had the compressor turned on for cooling cycle. I am ordering the heat valve and CNOTE-3 HOUR JOB and will return with all prescreened parts. Office to schedule return service. Arrived on site to test unit for being too loud. Found drain motor was being loud. Removed drain motor and found garbage disposal was back feeding into dishwasher. Verified check valve still good. "Arrived on site to diagnose issue with dryer not drying properly, customer informed that half the time it doesnt dry properly or doesnt dry at all. Utilized the vent testing kit to find improper venting, unit showed good power but bad venting while vent attached and good power and good venting when the vent is not attached, checked blower wheel and lint trap which was unobstructed. Gained access to to evaporator drain pan and removed ice buildup. Tested drain and found very slow drain. Found drain pan not aligned with drain tube. Adjusted drain pan. Gained access to condenser pan and tube. Line drain with tube. Tested drain and all tested good. No water leaks detected.

Arrived on job to replace previously diagnosed part. After replacement of inverter the refrigerator compressor turned on and all fans running. No leaks detected at time of service.

I confirmed good continuity on the power cord. I advised the customer would have to have the outlet serviced by a licensed electrician for the unit to work properly. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not starting. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when pressing the start button, the unit wont start and beeps 3 times. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F2E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit is operating as designed. I placed it back into diagnostics and performed the encoder test and all buttons except the start button functioned properly. I had to press the start button several times before it responded. I contacted techline and spoke to Steve and advised of the complaint, recent services and my findings and Steve recommended replacing the console/UI and provided SR#7730754494.No water leaks observed during service, job completed"

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found a small crack on the corrugated black hose that leads from the new valve to the bleach cup. In order to correct this issue a new bleach cup would be needed. Also found left hinge is rusted and visible when bleach cup was removed to examine.

Arrived on site to replace manifold. Replaced manifold test unit and unit test good no leaks present at this time.

Arrived on site to test unit for top trim coming up. Advised customer trim is not coming up trim is sitting correctly and theres a gap to let the oven glass vent. Job complete.

Arrived on job for complaints of not dispensing. Found the drawer very hard to pull out but after a hard tug the bin was able to remove. Found ice blocking bail arm. Removed ice cube and test.
