"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F9E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed up until the drain pump was to come on and it failed. Using my shop vac, I removed the water from the unit and pulled the unit from the cabinets and inspected the drain pump. Customer advised that a glass had broken inside the unit. When I removed the drain pump, I found evidence of an object rubbing against the walls of the drain and the empellers were damaged. I replaced the drain pump with a new pump and reinstalled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I removed and replaced the switches and retested and unit is still not heating. I tested voltage to the unit and its getting 123V. I tested voltage to the transformer and got 123V. I advised the customer that type high voltage side of heating is bad consisting of the magnetron, capacitor, and diode.I removed and replaced the magnetron, capacitor, and diode and retested and unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site for a microwave that was intermittently not heating. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit would heat when you manually set the time. However, if you used the QuickStart/add a minute button then the unit would not heat. They found the unit returned to normal operation after a few days, and the unit was working as designed upon arrival. I found the customer had recently had a power surge before this occurred. I informed the customer that it is possible that during the surge a relay got stuck on the control, and it eventually was able to reset itself. Which is why the issue may have not been permanent. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. Upon further inspection in order to remove the unit and do any further diagnosis I would need a second technician to assist.

Upon further inspection I found the tub not rotating as freely as it should. The customer also stated she noticed that in the past year as well. I also found that due to the belt still rotating, but the transmission sticking, the belt was torn up. In order to repair the unit it would need a new transmission and belt.
