I recommended that the customer have an electrician, possibly the builders electrician, take a look at the wiring at the wall and the breaker. Cleared the code and continued with testing and found when the unit agitates, the entire basket turns back and forth and not just the washplate. Spoke with their builder and he advised he was on site during installation and that it was documented on the installation receipt that the door and vent cover were bent. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the RC evap fan motor/harness and RC evap drip pan kit. I repositioned the RC evap thermistor and secured it to the suction line with foil tape and ziptie; followed the service pointer for the drip pan kit and sealed off the drain tube at the back of the unit. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when dispensing water, the unit leaks water at the bottom left hinge of the left FC door. I removed the kickplate and tested the dispenser and found water leaking from inside the door from the dispenser tubing. Also the ice maker recently stopped working. When I tested the ice maker, I had the FC door open and the door switched closed and the ice maker failed to harvest. When I began to close the door, the ice maker began to harvest. Due to recent repairs on the harness at the left hinge, its possible that the wiring is beginning to separate. I was able to get the ice maker to go through a full harvest and water dispensed into the tray. If it doesnt work, they will purchase a new unit. Then once they turned it back on the unit cooled well at around 38?F for a day, and then shot up to 48?F. They were tracking this with a digital thermostat inside of the RC. I checked temps and found the RC at 43?F with nothing inside of it. The digital thermostat read 48.5?F, and I informed the customer on how those digital thermostats are not always accurate. Upon further inspection I found no frost build up on either evap and both had good frost patterns. I ohmd out the thermistors and found them within range. Due to the temp being a little high and the service pointer W11450890, I am going to install the control kit to improve performance and for a quality improvement. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that was not cooling properly, the ice maker not functioning, and the drip tray cracked. I checked temps and found the RC at 48?F and the FC at 0?F. Upon further inspection I found the entire left side of the RC door gasket not sealing. I used my heat gun and created a proper seal. I advised the customer on not opening the unit for a minimum of 4 hours to let it harden properly. I jumped the IM and found it not working. I unplugged the unit and let it sit for several minutes. Arrived on site for a dishwasher with no power. I checked voltage at the terminal block and found it good. I then gained access to he control and ohmd out the bimetal to find it open. Arrived on site for a range with the front right burner not working. I test the unit and found the front right burner sparking but not igniting. I went to remove the burner head and found it very loose. I tightened it down and then tested it again. I found it now igniting every time. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a range over heating and a spot on the console getting to hot to the touch. On arrival the customer stated the home inspector checked temps after preheating and found them to high compared to he set temp. They also found the right side of the console getting very hot when using the oven. I showed and informed the customer on the vent under that side of the console and how that is were heat/steam escapes. I found the vent working as designed. I preheat the oven to 350?F and let the temps fluctuate. I took the average and found the unit heating as designed. I walked the customer through properly checking temps and theory of operation on how the heat fluctuates. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a range throwing an F1E1 error code. On arrival the customer stated that when she preheats to 400?F the unit will throw an error code and cut off. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F6E1 for over temp. I ohmd out the temp sensor at the sensor and at the control to find it good. I found the harness and connector in good shape. Per the tech sheet the control needs to be replaced. I replaced the control and then preheat the unit to 400?F. The unit is now working as designed. "Arrived on site for a four door refrigerator with the left side freezer frosting over. On arrival the customer stated that it only happened once and once they cleaned it up it never occurred again. I checked temps and found all compartments good. Upon further inspection I found all gaskets in good shape. I informed the customer of my findings and that it may have been caused from the door being left open. I walked them through how on this unit the doors will stop and stay open at a 45? angle, and that you have to make sure you push it all the way closed. If not, the hot air mixing with the cold can cause the frost formation. I found the unit working as designed. Call complete."

He advised to come back with the pressure hose but advised the issue would have to be either with the drain pipe back flowing, the pressure dome being clogged with debris, or a control issue. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not draining. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and tested the unit. Checked underneath the washer and found the wires that separated from the connectors. Reattached the connectors and was able to drain the unit manually. Went to test the unit in a cycle and found the unit attempting to drain during the entire portion of the cycle as it was filling. Power cycled the unit and had the same issue. Went to replace control but found the control set with me was not the right part. "Arrived onsite for a range that is not heating up to temperature. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostic testing and found the bake element not heat. Removed the top cover and found the element bubbled and broken. Replaced bake element and tested the unit in a 375?F bake cycle. The unit is not working as designed.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. I confirmed the customer complaint and found the icemaker stuck halfway through an iced harvest cycle. Found no water at the bottom of the icemaker but the motor would not turn. Checked voltage to the icemaker and found proper voltage. Replaced icemaker and icemaker harness due to change in icemaker. Reassemble the unit and they found the unit finish out the harvest cycle and fill with water. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if any other issues persist.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is freezing items in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is freezing items that are against the back wall and items in front of it and theres refrigerator and its freezing items in the door. Is it advised to the customer that any items that are pushed up against the back wall prohibiting airflow can cause this issue due to freezer air being stuck and not able to flow freely. Whats the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer and found the refrigerator at 36?F and the freezer at -2?F. Ran testing on the damper door but could not verify whether the damper actually closed. Checked resistance on the damper and found it within range. Checked the thermistor and found the unit registering proper temperature is in the refrigerator and freezer sections. I did advise the customer that at this point, I could not verify any failures within their unit unless if it was control related. I could not verify though that that was the problem as the most likely issue was with their airflow and packing their refrigerator too much. Went over proper loading procedures and am having the customer see if the issue continues before repair.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has a dented door. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers freezer door was dented and replace the door and nameplate and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is not starting cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Found the dryer would turn on and appear to start but the motor would not turn. Disassembled the unit and check the fuse. Found the fuse open. Did advise the customer that the thermal fuse blowing is usually indicative of a ventilation issue. The customer did explain that it does take a little longer to dry clothes than it used to. The customer has not had their events clean since they moved into their home seven years ago. Did advise them to contact a vent cleaning company to clean out their ducks. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that has a special project to replace the heater. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers model number and serial numbers fell within the service pointer range. Went to replace the heater and found water damage behind the unit due to a leak at the heater. See photos. Replaced the heater assembly and tested the unit and diagnostics. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived to inspect FC door issue. I found the door would not fully close and the lower gasket retention channel was warped, allowing excessive gasket movement and air leakage. The right RC door gasket was badly torn and requires replacement and the door will need shimming and bonding of the gasket channel. Tech GC please, no leaks observed during service.

I re-formed the right RC door gasket via steady heat and after it was acceptably corrected from shipping, I removed the failed existing gasket and installed the replacement. I ensured proper fitment and tested. The unit was cooling as designed and the prior repair has held. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived to inspect gas odor. I found the air shutter on the venturi was incorrectly set and the fuel/air ratio was too lean, creating an incomplete burn and the consequential gas odor. I adjusted the air shutter to get a complete burn and ignition at the flame tube, instead of the prior flame kernel several mm from the tube, and tested. The raw gas odor issue was corrected and during testing, I found the vent hood above the unit was not vented to the outside and advised the CX to utilize nearby utility and powder room, powered-venting, to draw out expectant exhaust fumes from normal operation of the unit. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service. I contacted Whirlpool safety and advised of my findings, file# 7734109648. Concession generated due to installation issue- W13M0P0WL1."

"Arrived to inspect noise and code. I found the unit had F3E1 and F8E1 stored in memory. I removed the back and cleared debris from within the air dome and hose connection and tested the unit. Two separate tests through service test mode passed and there were no errors generated. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

"Arrived to inspect no heat. I found the unit had all other functions but heat and there was line VAC present to the inverter line, measured at the microwave controller relay. I inspected the thermistors and found the return air thermistor reading 10 degrees after being removed from the fridge for 10 minuets. I installed the new thermistor. I set the unit to max cool so it will cool down quickly.

I found the freezer tempt at -2 and the fresh food section temp at 45. I gained access to the fresh food evaporator and found the suction line bent at more than 90 degrees restricting refrigerant flow. I showed the customer and explained what was going on, and how with the location and severity of the bend the fridge wont cool properly and there is no way to repair it. The customer stated she is still in the product exchange window with Best Buy and she will have the. Replace it. Job complete."

I inspected the grid cutter and found it broken. I gained access to the pump harness and found all three connections, drain pump, recirculating pump and water level sensor harness corroded, and broken. pumps, water level sensor, grid cutter and the main harness.

Arrived on site to replace the cooktop. I installed the new cooktop. I reassembled the unit and tested it. I found it working as designed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that wasn't fully cooling in the RC. On arrival checked Temps and found RC top shelf at 37, with roughly 40-43 on bottom shelf. Found the top shelf airflow channel was completely obstructed with jugs of water, limiting cooling capacity. Advised customer to make sure airflow channels stay clear as it's critical to cooling. Checked Temps of water in crisper drawer and found it at 41, which is within 2-4 degrees acceptable range. Reported findings to Chris at tech Line, SR 7734104421. Tech Line confirmed the average temp difference is 2-4 degrees. Unit now working as designed. Call complete."
