"Arrived on site for a refrigerator frosting over. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit was frosting up by the deli drawer. They also stated the ice production has lowered, and it all began around the ice storm rolling outages. I took temps and found the FC at 7?F and the RC at 51?F. I did find the IM had produced a whole bucket of ice. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components working as designed. I also ran a short defrost and found it running as designed. Upon further inspection I found the evap cover bowed badly, indicating it needs to be replaced per service pointer W11092686. Also per the service pointer I changed the defrost cycle to the auto 8 hour. I then gained access to the control and ohmd out the thermistors. The RC thermistor read 4.52k ohms, the FC thermistor read 5.03k ohms, and the RC evap thermistor read 6.86k ohms. Both RC thermistors are reading good, but the FC thermistor is way out of range. The FC thermistor is reading roughly 45-50?F when it was at 7?F. Technically the unit should be over cooling the FC due to this, therefore it indicates a bad control as well. We will need to replace the drain pan, the control, and the FC thermistor to complete the repair.Ordering parts and office will need to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11457241 (Drip Pan) and 1 W10316760 (Thermistor Kit)"

Diagnostics did not have a way to test the ice maker and call for water so I went to the valve at the wall and found the water was turned off. I turned the valve at the wall to the on position and could her the water rush into the water tube and into the fridge valve. Explained to the customer it may be a couple hours before the fridge starts producing ice, but that the water was shut off at the wall. He explained he had turned off the ice maker previously. Now that the water at the wall is on the ice maker will produce ice as designed. No leaks detected. Job completed."

The customer has been using a washcloth to help the door closed and remain shut and found the catch partially broken. Replaced the catch and tested the unit. Unit still was popping open. Checked all the screws on the outer door and all the screws were tight. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Andrew SR# 7731051282. He advised that based on the prior repairs, he would replace the outer door and both hinges because that would effectively be the last few things that could cause this issue. He also advised that since the inner door worked for about a month, it would seemingly be that the screws are not catching on the outer door properly. Arrived onsite for ice maker not producing ice. Upon inspection I found the unit would just fill until time out and then start to recirculate to the evaporator. I confirmed voltage to both pumps in manual diagnostics. I found drain pump sounds very weak and water is barely trickling out. I noticed the drain pump would leak when the recirculating pump is engaged. I removed the pump and could not see any cracks I re installed the pump and it seemed to no longer be dripping. The unit keeps filling until overflow indicating a failed water level sensor. I was then able to install a new dispenser door kit reassembled and tested and found unit now dispensing ice as designed. Call complete.

"(CS) Arrived on-site for cooktop not allowing front right burner to turn all the way on. Upon arrival disassembled and inspected cooktop. Found the front right infinite switch shorted out. This was caused by the burner itself having a short, burning the wire around it. Restored power through infinite switch

"Arrived on site and inspected newly purchased washer banging.Ran diagnostics and found no errors, but did find the unit wasnt leveled possibly causing the banging noise.I leveled the unit and even allowed the customer to watch a quick load and unit now functioning properly without any issues.JOB COMPLETE"

"Arrived onsite for a dryer that?s not finishing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does heat and does complete cycles but on her delicate cycle, it doesn?t dry all the way causing her to have to hang dry her delicate. Ran the unit through diagnostics and the unit ran as designed. Checked voltage and found proper voltage going to the unit. I went through user care guide and found that the delicate cycle generally leaves clothes damp when it finishes sending off the damp dry signal. The unit is supposed to somewhat air dry the rest of the way through the wrinkle control and found another way to dry better. Went through user guide and the unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s leaking water. Inspected unit and work area. We?re on the unit through diagnostics and could not get the unit to drip. Removed front cover and found the bellow torn in the upper left hand corner. Replaced Bellow and test of the unit. The unit began running as designed. Call complete.

Right on site for an ice machine that?s not making very much ice and is making slim pieces of ice. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle. Found the water valve barely pulling any water in causing the recirculation pump to barely be cycling water. Replaced water valve and tested unit. Unit is working as designed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling in FC. Inspected unit and work area. Gained access to condenser fan and found running. Gained access to evaporator and found restriction in sealed system. Found condenser dirty and need to be cleaned. Condenser fan also to did not seem to be at correct speed. Will need to replace compressor, filter dryer and condenser fan. Will need to clean condenser.. ; ordrng 1 876765 (TUBE KIT) and 1 W10841139 (COMPRESSOR ) and 1 WP978025 (ACCESS VALVE ) and 1 WPW10143759 (UV DRIER)"
