"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with freezer getting ice build up. Upon arrival the customer stated he was getting some ice build up or icicles around the door and sometimes a little water puddle under the FC door. I found the customer had previously stored something in the FC that was a little to big, and had bags of frozen food in the pizza box area on the FC door. I advised the customer that these could of caused air leaks and typically that is what creates the frost or icicles by the door. Upon further inspection I found no gaps in the gasket. I checked temps and found the FC 6?F after being opened for a little bit. I also found the fan working as designed and no ice build up at the back of the FC. I found the unit working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service

Arrived on site for NOISE IS COMING MOST OF THE TIME AT NIGHT GRINDING SOUND - FREEZING FOOD IN FRDIGE - NO ICE BUILD UP. Took temps and fridge was cooling as designed. No frost build up over evaporator cover. Placed in diagnostics and all checked good. Fans running strong and compressor kicked on as designed. Placed in a short defrost and I could hear the evaporator coils breaking up frost and water sizzle. Removed kick plate and found heavy build up of dust over condenser coils. Used vacuum to remove the dust. This should help the fridge run more efficiently. Didnt see any items in fridge frozen. Nice frost pattern over evaporator coils. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Upon arrival customer stated the ice maker started producing ice last night. Went ahead and removed ice maker and installed new ice maker to be 100%. Customer showed me the right side RC door gasket was torn. Stated she was supposed to get a new one today with the ice maker. Arrived on site and inspected double wall oven with ribbon not connected and latch not engaged errors. Customer advised he recently had a local company come out and send the board off to be rebuilt. When the unit came back the ribbon connections was damaged not allowing it to communicate with the main control.

Arrived on site for a range leaking gas. Upon arrival the customer stated he had a plumber checking on a major gas leak on his dryer. During this he checked his range and he found a minor leak in the range. I used my leak finder and could not detect any leak and could not smell any gas coming from the unit. I found the unit working as designed.

Per service pointer W11531483 we will need to replace the actuator. I temporarily fixed the issue and put the unit into diagnostics mode. I found stored error codes F7E6 for motor fault. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the unit not cooling properly and per previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the hv drier and FC evaporator. Using my black light, I found that the evaporator had leaked refrigerant. Vacuumed the system for approximately 20 minutes and pressures held. Installed 7.50oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures and watched the frost pattern on the FC evaporator. Evaporator had a good frost pattern. During this time, I removed and replaced the filter housing and checked for leaks. No leaks found. Unit continued to hold pressure in sealed system. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine making a loud noise. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit will make a very loud noise during the final spin, and when the shifter activates. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I then ran a service cycle and it ran through as designed with no noise. The customer then informed me it was an intermittent issue. I individually activated each component and ran the high spin/agitate for a while and could never replicate the noise. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found everything looking as designed. I called techline and spoke to Kathy and received SR# 7731092827. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator losing cool. Upon arrival the customer stated things in the RC started getting soft and ruining faster. Also that some condensation build up was appearing in the FC. They were still having low ice production too. I checked the temps and found the FC at 13?F and the RC at 50?F. I gained access to the FC evap and found a good frost pattern. I found several inches of ice build up on the RC evap cover, and frozen water on the bottom of the RC. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found thermistors passed, all fans and airflow components working properly, put the defrost in basic mode, and found the defrost working as designed. I then gained access to the control and ohmd out the thermistors. I found the RC thermistor at 9.8k (reading roughly 30?F, which is about accurate due to ice), the FC thermistor at 4.9k (reading roughly 50?F, which is roughly correct after door being open and defrost activated), and the RC evap thermistor at 25k ohms (reading roughly -5?F, which is more than likely accurate due to the amount of ice build up). I gained access to the drain tube due to the sheet of ice on the bottom of the RC. I found it slightly clogged and cleared it. This indicates a possible UI and control issue. I am ordering the UI and will return with all other parts. Return tech to install UI and Control. They will also need to gain access to the RC evap to check if the thermistor has correct placement, for this could also cause the issue. I advised the customer they will need to keep the cooling off at least 48 hours before service to thaw out ice. I had them sign the defrosting refrigerator waiver. "Arrived on site to replace compressor, filter drier, and coupler. After replacing, unit would not hold vacuum, I heard a very faint hissing noise coming from refrigerant line feeding filter drier. I bubble tested my welds, that tested good, I was not able to gain access to where the leak was coming from.

After further inspection I found drain line under sink was never properly raised. I dis assembled the unit and inspected all support idler wheels and blower. All checked good. The customer had concerns of the unit not cycling properly. I found the outlet thermistor out of range so I replaced. I could not pinpoint the noise so I called techline. They recommended replacing the motor and installing a noise reduction kit. I am ordering the W11378591 sound reduction kit and tech lines SR#7731097963 Drew. I recommend checking the drum for warping on return visit and replacing the blower wheel with the motor. ; O-emld tckt

Arrived on site for microwave not heating as well as it use to. Inspected unit and work area. Performed temperature test and measured amp draw. Placed 8 ounces of 71? water in microwave and heated for 1 minute. Found amp draw 14 amps and temperature of water was 141?. Found all specs with range. Found customer keeping food cover in unit that has magnets on it that is covered with plastic. Would not recommend to use food cover with magnets. Unit is operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with water from freezer dropping into RC. Upon inspection I found the FC floor with a sheet of ice formed over the drain. I cleared out all the ice to verify flow down the drain. I verified flow down the drain and could not find any mechanical failure. I explained that leaving the door open or if stuff in the freezer keeps the door from shutting it can cause ice to form over the drain. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling well in the RC. Upon inspection I found the unit powered off. I tested the heaters resistance and it showed in range. I checked voltage at the ADC and it checked good. I turned on the unit and found a frost pattern forming on the evaporator. I inspected the drain tube and found the duck bill drain cap clogged. I i cleared the duck bill the cap to allow water to flow through. I advised the customer that with the unit being located in the garage it can cause issues with cooling especially in the summer months. Everything checks good electrically and mechanically. I advised the customer to monitor the unit over the next few days to ensure it restores to proper temps. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for refrigerator not making ice. Upon arrival found fill tube frozen at the tip. Unit was in the middle of a harvest. Did complete turn and tried filling but wouldn?t do to frozen tip. Put unit in diagnostics and ran fill tube heater test. Ice thawed and ran fill, unit did fill tray. Called tech line for assistance. Ran resistance readings on heater and got a good reading. Ran voltage test and recorded 12.25 vdc. Tech recommended replacing fill tube due to potential faulty internal wiring. SR#7731087450. Job complete"

Arrived on site to perform maintenance for ice machine. Cleared bin and started cleaning cycle at customers request. No further work needed at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site for customer complaint that the lid wont close and unit wont wash. Upon further inspection, I found the lid in the closed position but gapped approximately 1/2 inch from the top panel. I removed the console and inspected the hinges and found when the lid pops back up the 1/2 inch, the hinges dont move. I contacted techline and spoke to Sterling and advised of the complaint and my findings. Sterling advised to replace the hinges and inspect the lid to make sure its not warped. He provided SR#7731088956. Customer advised that the display shows 1 minute at the end of the cycle and nothing is happening with the unit. She advised that it will stay at 1 minute for days unless she turns the unit off. I am ordering the main control, both hinges and the lid. Office to schedule return service. Customer advised that they wanted the unit replaced. I advised the customer that only Whirlpool can authorize that and provided her with the SR number and recommended that they contact customer service. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced ice door and control and tested the unit. Unit is seemingly working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer lid lock not working. Upon further inspection, customer advised that when they start the wash cycle, the display says add garment and they get confused. I demonstrated to the customer how the unit operates and what they should do before pressing start as far as the settings work. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and found none. Continued with testing the unit and it is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use & care as well as detergent use as the customer has a water softener system. Explained one more time on how the unit operates. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s not making ice consistently. Inspected unit and work area. Unit is too old to place the unit and service diagnostics. I checked the receiver and emitter by hand and found it working properly. Replaced the icemaker and tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator with power issues. Tenant advised the was concerned because the unit would turn off for a few hours and turn on again. I checked temperatures and got -2 and 29 degrees in both sections. Items in the freezer were frozen solid and the refrigerator items were cold as they should be. I explained the refrigerator fans and compressor sounds to the tenant and confirmed the unit is working properly. JOB COMPLETE

Arrived on site and inspected ice maker not producing ice in a French door refrigerator. Confirmed the complaint through test 56 and found the ice maker lost home position. Removed and replaced it and unit was harvesting upon departure. JOB COMPLETE
