I let the ice maker cycle and found it would start leaking from the bottom into the bin. Arrived on job to replace the gearcase for customers washing machine. Replaced the gearcase and splutch assembly. Ran diagnostics and tested properly.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dispenser leaking, upon arrival the customer informed me that he installed a new filter and it was leaking at the filter housing, I inspected the filter and filter head, I found that the dispenser needed to run water through the line to get rid of the air in the lines due to the customer saying there was air that came out from the new filter, I ran the unit until no air remained in the lines, I observed no water coming from the filter housing after reseating the new filter and running the dispenser for several glasses of water. If the issue persists it is possible it is either a bad filter or the water filter head needs replacement. Job complete."

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not heating. Upon inspection I found no error codes stored on the system. I let diagnostics run through and found all functions passed including the heater. I found the customer is not using rinse aid. I found one of the friction sleeves had broke off. I replaced the sleeves. No leaks detected during time of service. I explained the importance of rinse aid for drying and advised them to open the door when the cycle is finished to let the steam vent out. Job complete.

"I arrived on site to diagnose a dryer making a loud noise during the cycle, upon arriving the customer demonstrated the issue. I gained access in the cabinet and found that the sound is coming from the blower housing position, The unit requires a shim, I utilized my sound pad to shim the blower housing causing the noise to go away.

Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling. Compressor was extremely hot. Pulling 1amp condenser is extremely clogged. Advised customer condenser needs cleaned. Customer had a start device and run cap. Evap motor working as designed. If issue continues recommend replacing compressor. Job complete.

Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Checked non-operating pressures and found the unit at -10 psi on the low side and 68 psi on the high side. Plug the unit in and found the low side pressure dropping down to -26 psi and the high side sitting at 86psi. I then heard a thump and what it sounded like bubbles or water droplets inside of the condenser. I called Andy SR# 7731376151. He had me re-check pressures and found the non-operating pressures again at -8 psi on the low side and 66 psi on the high side. Plug the unit in and found the low side dropping to -26 psi but the high side not moving at all.

"Onsite for washer stopping mid cycle and displaying LF and dripping from underneath dispenser. In diag, Found F8E1 long fill. Tested cold and hot water pressure from valves. Found cold valve filling slightly slower than normal, and hot valve trickling water. Informed customer that unit will display LF indicating long fill when unit goes into rinse cycle and is not detecting proper water level in tub. Returning with valve assy includes dispenser housing.

Arrived on site for dryer not running at all. Upon arrival I found the timer would still operate but the unit would not start a cycle. I found proper voltage reaching the unit at the terminal block. I tested the fuses inside the unit and found the thermal fuse was blown. I replaced the thermal fuse and reassembled the unit. After reassembly I tested the unit to find it cycling and heating as designed. Call complete.

"Onsite for dryer making a loud noise on startup. Customer stated he previously had a fire from dryer wall outlet and had emergency services arrive at the scene. He stated that the outlet issue has been fixed prior to my arrival. He also stated that he has replaced the thermal fuse multiple time and the unit will work for sometime, then become inoperable again. Upon further inspection, found wiring harness at heating element had a wire nut installed. Customer informed me that he performed the wiring himself due to burnt wires connected to heating element. Found small rubber pieces splattered against walls where belt is positioned near. Customer then informed me that he has replaced multiple belts and that he recently replaced the nut on motor where belt is attached to due to nut wearing down on belt grooves. Found idler pulley switch loose and wobbling around, thermal fuse reading open, high limit thermostat had arching and burn marks on it. Customer then told me he replaced the high limit thermostat and the heating element. Due to customer wiring, and multiple parts replaced by customer, I did not plug in unit to test due to potential safety hazard. Needs main harness, motor, thermal fuse, thermistor, pulley switch, belt, hi limit &cutoff, heating element, idler pulley. AUTHO. Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling properly upon arrival I found amp draw to compressor was 1.58. The evap and condenser fans and compressor were all running smoothly. Upon further inspection I found unit had a defrost issue due to main control failing to read thermostat properly in either compartments. I replaced the main control assembly (had rc thermistor wired in already with new part) as well as the thermistor on FC evap coil. After reassembling unit I found everything functioning as designed and informed customer unit would need a full 24 hrs to cool properly. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for stopping mid cycle and moving around a lot, upon inspection found no issues with unit. Filled and spun with no movement of drum at all, customer had overloaded unit causing issues.

Arrived on site for washer not completing cycles on normal. Upon arrival I found only an F8e1 error stored. After resetting codes I inspected cutoffs and found both were fully on. Found all hoses connected correctly. Tested voltage and resistance to valve and found no failures through valve harness or ACU. I ran a normal operation as well as a few diagnostics cycles and found unit is now fully functioning as designed and allowing after to enter to unit properly. Did inform customer to run a cleaning cycle to help get rid of any possible build up within lines of unit. Call complete

Arrived on site for washer not agitating. Upon arrival in confirmed the issue and then gained access to the gear assembly on the bottom of the unit. Upon further inspection I found the actuator slipped out of place. I also disassembled and inspect the cam for any damage but found it in perfect condition. I replaced the actuator and reassembled the unit. After reassembly I tested and calibrated the unit . Call complete.

Arrived on site and inspected ice maker issues. Found the ice maker lost home position and was simply dead. Removed and replaced the ice maker and the ice box fan. Reassembled and unit tested as designed. Job completed

Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit having a hard time switching between cycles. Replaced actuator and tested the unit again. Found when the unit went into a spin the basket was skipping. Removed the agitator and found the hub completely stripped. Checked the thermistor and the thermistor red 7.24 k ohms. I called tech line and spoke to Chris SR# 7731053276. He advised based on all prior repairs, to defrost the rest of the unit and run test 4 to see if the three way valve was allowing refrigerant to the fresh food evaporator when the unit was trying to cool the freezer. He advised to call back to report findings once done. Went ahead and defrosted the fresh food section and ran the compressor test. Found unit working as designed and not allowing refrigerant in the fresh food section on the unit went to cool the freezer. I called back to tech line and spoke to Bryan (same SR#).

Upon further inspection I found a small dent in left rc door not allowing proper push pull activation of door switch. I added in a door spacer and reassembled and tested unit. Arrived on site for upper led modules going on and off sporadically. Removed upper modules and installed new modules. All lights except ice maker led came on. Removed hv board and installed new hv board. Lights came on full strength but still did not illuminate rear ice maker led. Called WHIRLPOOL tech line and they explained the ice bin leds are on the same circuit and it has to be the individual led module on the ice bin that will need replace. "Arrived on site for a dryer that?s intermittently turning itself off before clothes are dry. Inspected and work area. Place the unit in service diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error code. Ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found the moisture sensor working properly. I ran a load in the unit and found the unit not having any problems. The customer advised that the unit has only done this twice since they bought it and just wanted to make sure that it was good since they were having worked on the washer. Advise the customer that at this point, I could not see anything wrong with the dryer.

Arrived on site and inspected leaking from front load washer. Inspected the bellow and accessed the pump and both checked good. I did notice the water source on the top left of the below wasnt pushed in completely possibly causing the leaking. I ran a quick wash cycle in front of the customers grandson and unit did not leak. "Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling. Checked temps, FC was 48.3 and RC was 54.6 upon arrival. Hooked gauges to high and low side valves and found low side pulling in a vacuum(10psi) and high side 90psi. Found frost build up on cap tube entering evap. Removed frost and charged system to ensure no blockage in evap based on frost pattern. Evap frost pattern was starting to develop ideally but pressures started to drop. Used UV light and did not find any traces of dye. Applied bubble solution multiple times in to exposed lines and solder joints, was unable to find any leaks. Charged system again and still no signs of any leaks.

I saw that the unit was attached to a AFCI breaker so I checked the connections from the power cord to the unit and found the unit was not grounded. Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is still leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer sent me videos of what was going on. The unit seem to be leaking from inside the door. Removed the outer door and found water residue around the dispenser area. Ran the unit for 40 minutes without being able to replicate the drip. I did find a few water triplets coming from the float switch area. Removed the float switch and found that the nut that holds in the gasket on the bottom of the tub loose causing the drip. Tightened the nut and re-engaged the float switch. Found no other leaks present after tightening the nut. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7731432344. He advised that based on the information that he would also replace the detergent dispenser prior to any other repairs. ordrng 1 W10861000 (detergent dispenser)

"Arrived on site for a dryer that?s giving an error message after running cycles intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is giving her an error code with an a. Tested the unit and put the unit in diagnostics. Found an F4 E3 (airflow restriction) error code, also known as AF to the customer. Check the vent hose and found the vet who is not attached to the wall and venting onto the floor causing the issue. Reattached the vent hose and tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived back on site to install previously ordered ice maker and ice container. Removed and replaced both and unit tested as designed. Job completed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator intermittently shutting off. Upon arrival I found no error codes and gained access to the control panel in the back. I found proper voltage and polarity at the wall as well as proper voltage reaching the unit. Upon testing P2-2 to P2-6 I found it only pulling 2.5 VDC instead of 12.7VDC indicating a failure within the power control. I replaced the power control and once again tested the unit. I found it now pushing proper voltages to the rest of the unit. Call complete."

Arrived on site for brains not functioning properly. Upon arrival customer stated that the front left knob and knobs skirt were continuously popping off unit upon further inspection I found that due to he exposure over the past couple years the knob is not gripping on the clip properly which holds it to the stem of the valve itself. "Arrived onsite for a microwave that is intermittently not heating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that since they called in back on July 14, the unit has only not heated one time. He advised that when it does not heat, he can open and close the door and flip off his breaker for a full minute and it will still not heat after work. He said that usually it?ll take a certain amount of time before the unit begins to work properly. Tested the unit with a glass of water and found the unit heating as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7731424810. He advised that generally when the unit is working, all of the components will test good and that we would need to catch the unit in a failed state before making any assumptions on the failed component. Went ahead and checked the door switches and found the door switch is opening and closing properly. Ordering door switches and relay board just in case there is an intermittent issue with door switches, magnetron, or the relay board. Advise customer in the meantime to take a video of the issue and to push in on the door to see if that will activate the door switches and allow the unit to run prior. .; ordrng 1 W11305909 (switch MONITOR ) and 3 W11397156 (SWITCH)s and 1 W11445128 (RELAY BOARD )"

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Found unit unplugged. Powered unit on and found compressor turned on and then kicked off. Gained access to compressor and restarted unit to get compressor to turn on. Measured amp draw to compressor and found out of range. Measured resistance on compressor and found electrical windings within range. Measured farads on capacitor and found within range. Tested unit with new starting device and measured amp draw and found with range. Found failed starting device. Leveled and assembled unit. Checked FC temperature and found unit cooling. Informed customer to allow 24 hours to reach proper temperature and 48 hours to make ice. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is intermittently not heating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had a load running at the time on a low heat cycle and advised that the unit did not seemingly dry her clothes for about three weeks before they called in. She said that it didn?t seem to heat but she wasn?t sure. She change the temperature to low and it?s seemingly been working since she has done that. Opened the door and found heat inside the dryer. Turn the temperature selector all the way out to high and round the unit. The unit started cycling correctly inside the dryer indicating no issues with the element or heating components. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Joel (no SR# due to commercial unit). He advised that based on the current information the issue would?ve had to have been with some sort of restriction inside the dryer vent or a voltage issue due to heating elements being good or bad and not resetting themselves. He advised to have the customer take a video of this the next time this happens and to check voltage as well as to power cycle the unit prior to starting the cycle again. He advised to make no repairs. Spoke to PR as well and was advised the same thing. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

We gained access to the evaporator and found ice build up. We then checked voltage at defrost timer to the defrost heater (ok). Then we inspected heaters and found them burnt out. We installed new heaters after removing ice from evaporator. Unit is working as designed.Job complete"

"Arrived on site and replaced control board diagnosed by previous technician recommended by tech line. After replacement ran diagnostic test 12 and confirmed all functions are operating normally, job complete"

"Arrived on site for an ice maker that was not dispensing. Upon further inspection I found the ice bin full with ice clumped up in it. I removed the bin and tested the auger motor. I found it running as designed. I found the shaft not stripped either. I then broke up the ice and tested the dispenser. I found it now working as designed. I advised the customer on dumping the ice regularly per care guide. The unit is working as designed. I informed the customer on what a customer instruct entails.

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is making some noise and banging around in spin. Ran unit and found error code for off balance load. Ran unit and could see a shimmy in the basket at high speed. Checked hub and found teeth on the hub almost completely stripped out. Checked gearcase and found no damage or gearcase oil present, no bearing noise. Replaced hub and calibrated unit. Verified shaking and noise are gone. Unit working as designed. Also advised on proper loading, advised if too few clothes are run the unit can not balance and it causes these issues.

Arrived onsite for washer not filling correctly and LF code. Upon arrival tested unit and found failing valve. Replaced valve and tested. Unit is functioning properly.
