"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water not dispensing. Upon further inspection, I tested the water dispenser and it began to dispense and then slowly went to a trickle. I removed the filter and placed my bypass in the filter head and retested and the water dispensed correctly. I found the customers filter was defective as there were grooves cut out at the lip/top of the filter. Using the filter prescreened for today, I attempted to test with it but found it was defective as well. I removed and replaced the filter head/reservoir and tested and unit is operating as designed. Arrived onsite for refrigerator freezing food in the RC. Upon arrival I found the RC=30 FC=0. I found while in diagnostics the thermistors were reading correctly. I could hear the damper making a abnormal grinding noise. I accessed and replaced the RC thermistor harness and damper control. I tested the unit and the damper no longer makes a grinding noise. I advised the customer to monitor the unit to ensure it comes back and stays at proper temps. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for unit not agitating or spinning. Looked under the unit and found that the wrong actuator was put on the unit from the factory. Replaced actuator with correct one. Tested the unit. Unit tested good. No leaks at this time. Job complete

"Arrived on site for WHEN CYCLE IS SELECTED, AN HOUR GLASS APPEARS WITH A HAND. THEN TIME RESETS AND UNIT SHUTS OFF. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Customer explained the hour glass and hand comes on on the screen when you go to preheat bake. Pressing cancel clears the screen and the UI resets. After resetting, you go to preheat bake and the screen shows that it is heating when it isnt. Once this non heating cycle is canceled and you got to preheat again it will begin heating as designed. Called WP tech line and spoke to Austin. Based on the specifics of what the oven is doing we will need to replace the UI. Ordering the UI (W11296171) to return and complete the repair. This new UI is an Xpart.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit is leaking water and their finding water on the floor at the front left corner. Tested the unit in manual test mode and tested the valve. I didnt find any leaks on the first test. I manually tested the detergent cup fill and found that water is running up under the tub ring and dripping down the side of the tub and onto the floor. I placed some silicone on the underside of the tub ring where it seals to the tub (photo in SD-QuickPic) and retested. Unit is no longer leaking. I advised the customer of my repairs. Upon further inspection, I tested the water dispenser and could hear the valve opening up but no water being dispensed. I checked he ice bin and found a few cubes inside. Removed the filter and placed my bypass in the filter head and retested and water dispensed. Placed the filter back in the filter head and tested again and the water dispensed and the ice maker began to harvest then dispensed water into the tray. I found the filter was not fully inserted into the filter head. The filter being used is an off brand filter and I recommended that the customer use Whirlpool certified filters. Customer will use off brand filter since its new and replace it with Whirlpool Everydrop filter when this one is expired. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that is running longer cycles and not opening the soap dispenser. Ran unit through diagnostic mode and found no errors, and unit properly operating in diagnostic. I checked the sump of the unit and found a large buildup of food and hard water, almost completely obscuring the slots the turbidity sensor utilizes, resulting in the OWI not being able to read clean. Advised on cleaning measures. Removed and scrubbed OWI. Unit should be working as designed once a thorough cleaning is done.

Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was not allowing the filter to be removed. Checked unit and found the housing top bracket had popped out and wasnt allowing the lever to lock into the filter. Removed cover and secured top clip with a small amount of adhesive and a piece of foil tape. Retested and found filter is now locking in and out as designed. Unit working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not spitting out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Placed the unit in service diagnostics and found an F0 E5 (off balance load) and an F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test on the unit ran as designed. Around the unit through manual agitation and high speed spin tests in the unit ran as designed. Tested the water valves and the drain pump and the unit I had no problems. Ran attacked amateur test on the unit and found the unit reading the basket speed. I asked the customer whether this issue was happening every cycle or if it just happened on some cycles. They advised that it only happens on sun cycles and that other cycles will finish out the cycles. I did explain that the most common issues are with loading and because I could not find any faults with the unit, the likely issue was with the loads they were running. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

The customer advised that the unit seemingly does not fill all the way and will shut itself off before the unit even washes her clothes. Placed Burnett in Service diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected) error code. Tested the valves and found the cold water valve not pulling in water. Found the water Spicket at the wall had the valve turned off. Turned on the cold water and the hot water and test of the unit again. The unit began to fill as designed. Tested the unit in an auto test in the unit ran as designed. The customer went ahead and loaded a big blanket inside of the washer. I did advise the customer against running bulky loads like that due to off-balance issues.Around the unit and found the cold water pulling in hot water. The customer advised that her plumbing pipes go through her attic. She says that during the summer months that when she runs a path that even if she?s turning on cold water that it will give her hot water. I advise the customer that because of that issue, she would need to adjust her temperature settings due to the inlet water valve having a thermistor on it measuring temperature of the water coming into the unit. I did advise that that will cause her unit to think that there?s an issue with the water temperature and shut it down. Advise the customer to adjust the water temperature in accordance to the incoming water temperature for full repair. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced lower harness and tested the unit. The unit began to work as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s making a rattling noise. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and remove the compressor cover. Found refrigerant line touching up against the back metal cover causing the rattle. Added that sounds pad to the line to prevent any further issue. The unit is now working as designed. Replaced the starting device and capacitor and tested the unit. The unit began to run and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer knob not advancing wash. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that theyll set the timer and over time, theyll have to advance it manually. I tested the washer in a rinse cycle and the advanced. I tested in normal wash cycle and the timer failed to advance after agitation. I tested the lid switch and its good. I manually advanced the timer and the unit began to drain and spin.No water leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 WP3946475 (Timer)"

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop flames. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a photo of the cooktop flames and they were orange in color. Customer advised that they do not have a humidifier in the home. I tested the cooktop burners and all are operating as designed. I advised the customer that there could be something in their AC unit that is causing the flames to go orange. I provided a video that demonstrated how the flames turn orange when a humidifier was present. Retested the cooktop burners several more times and could not duplicate the issue. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a dryer with the door not closing properly. I adjusted the dryer catch and now it is closing as designed. I informed the customer that heavier items or very large loads can cause the door to open on this unit mid cycle. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher getting power but not starting, upon inspecting the unit I found there was a loose connection on the terminal block, I tightened the connection and tested the unit, I found no fault codes and the unit is operating properly as designed. Job complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is banging and making noise when spinning. Customer advised me that they were hearing the unit bang when it would spin. Ran unit and did not see any abnormal banging. Calibrated unit. Had customer load washer to test. Advised on proper loading and to make sure clothes are around the outside to properly balance. Arrived on site for front right burner only heating to high setting. Upon arrival I inspected the unit to find proper voltage reaching the unit as well as the infinite switch. I gained access to the burners and found a wire coming to the burner from the harness burnt and corroded. I cannot find any information on the harness at this time. Im ordering research for the harness as it is needed for a safe and reliable repair..; ordrng 1 CNote (Need research on right front burner harness)
