Found that the coupler from the motor side had sheared apart, and while looking around the door did see that a piece of blue tape was in between the seal and the cabinet. Removed the tape. Called Techline to report all issues. Said to replace the coupler and if warm air is getting in the ice will clump up and leak from the dispenser and agreed that the found blue tape more likely was the issue. Got sr#7733156957. "Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and did not find any error codes, customer is experiencing pods not completely dissolving in dispenser. Recommended placing pod at the bottom of the wash tub in order for it to immediately begin dissolving when hot water enters. Found small bits of plastic inside upper spray arm and remove them this may have been causing upper spray arm to not spin properly. Upper spray arm manifold may need to be replaced due to gasket flapper is not closing all the way. Customer will monitor dishwasher and see if this is necessary.

Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking water in the tub when not in use. Upon arrival customer stated they drain the water out 24 hours prior to our arrival but in that 24 hour period the dishwasher had filled half way with clear water. After further testing found that the inlet valve is failing not allowing the solenoid to seal off all the way causing water to go into the tub. The inlet valve sent with is an updated model that needs a new 3/4'FHT X 3/8'COMP ELBOW Plus a stainless steel water line. At time of service I could not verify if the cut off valve under the sink is functioning correctly due to the old style copper line not able to be safely removed and ensure it could seal back after testing. I need office to reach out to American home shield to verify how they wish to proceed and the possibility that a plumber could be needed to replace the cut off valve under the sink as well; ordrng 1 W10685193 (3/4'FHT X 3/8'COMP ELBOW) and 1 Unkown (Stainless steel dishwasher fill line) and 1 Cnote (Needs ahs autho for further repairs due to parts needed being accessories)

Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling properly. Upon arrival confirm complaint and after further inspection found that the unit had a defrost issue not allowing the unit to melt all the ice on the freezer evaporator. After further testing found that the failures were caused between the defrost timer as well as the defrost thermostat. I replaced both required parts reassembled and test of the unit and found freezer fully functioning as designed and informed customer to allow unit 24 hours before sticking any further items into the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and the control panel failed to respond. I found the unit plugged in under the sink and there is a switch panel on the wall above the sink. I turned the switches on and a light above the sink came on and the disposal came on. When the disposal came on, the dishwasher powered on as well. I tested the unit in diagnostics, showing no error codes, and it operated as designed. I recommended that the customer have an electrician inspect the outlet for improper wiring. No mechanical issues with the unit. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for washer leaking water through the door. Upon arrival confirmed issue but found no errorcodes. I then found that the cause of the leak through the door was due to a warped door bellow. After replacing the Bellow I reassembled and tested the unit and made sure to fill the tub as full as it could without resetting the pressure switch to verify that unit could hold water without any leaks. Unit is now functioning as designed I then instructed customer on the best ways to maintain bellow to prevent further issues.

"Arrived on site for dryer not turning on. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found pts, door switch, and all heating hardware functioning within manufacturing specs. After further testing I found terminal block receiving 30-60v on L1(black wire) . After resetting breaker I found intermittent 30-120v connection to still coming from L1 side and allowing unit to turn on only if power cord prongs wher held a certain way in outlet. Instructed customer at this time an electrician is needed to verify to integrity of outlet internally and instructed them on a dvc as well as contacting us if any new issues arise. Call complete"

Arrived on site for dishwasher not turning on. upon arrival confirmed complaint. After further testing I that the dishwasher was wired into a light switch on top of the cabinet above the dishwasher that would cut power to the unit as a safety feature if the light switch is turned off. Once restoring power to the unit I also found that the hot water connection to the dishwasher was also turned off and turned it back on to verify there are no leaks between the cut off and the dishwasher itself. I didnt try to run a fill agitation and drain cycle but during the test I found that although the motor and the drain pump motor were both receiving 120 V when designated both of them had internal bad bearings and were not zooming to the manufacturer specifications and failing to circulate the water through the tub or drain it out. Was able to reschedule with the customer to come back on March 16 of 2022 on a Wednesday to complete repairs with new motor and drain pumps. ; ordrng 1 A00126401 (Drain motor) and 1 5304519906 (Motor asm)

Arrived on site for microwave not redirecting all steam given off from items created from liquids cooked on range. Find arrival confirm complaint with customer. After further inspection found that vent assembly within microwave was able to hold a paper towel firmly to the exhaust vent when vent motor was set to low and high settings. Also found that unit had no external exhaust to cabinets and motor had been redirected as designed by manufacturer to vent things from cooktop to the top front of the microwave. Called whirlpool techline and spoke with Adrian sr#7733155663. Was instructed at this time that vent assembly built within microwave is functioning as designed per manufacture specs. Was also instructed that at this time microwave discoloration on the UI panel as well as door were out of cosmetic warranty period. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=-1 degree and RC=57 degrees. Customer advised that they can hear a loud rattling noise coming from the unit. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the RC & FC fans and found that the RC fan is making the noise. I removed the lower crisper drawer and found ice built up on the RC evaporator & cover. I pulled the unit out and inspected the drain tube at the back of the unit and there was no air gap. I sealed it with silicone to avoid a gap in the future. Also found the right RC door gasket is badly torn; ordrng 1 W10917313 (Rt RC door gasket)"

I wired the unit and tested and the control panel failed to respond and showed F7 error code-stuck key. I found the control panel has been discontinued and advised the customer. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the air ducts clogged with ice. I disassembled the FC section and found the evaporator engulfed in ice/frost due to the unit not defrosting properly. I tested the defrost element and it is good. I Inspected the wall oven for and shorts to ground and found none. I removed the wall oven from the power supply and found the breaker still tripping with no load. Arrived on site for a gas dryer with a gas smell when sitting. Upon arrival the customer had the gas shut off. I turned the gas back on and used the gas detector wand to search for a sign of a gas leak. I used the wand on the line and did not detect anything. I then gained access to the inside and used the wand on the regulator and solenoids. I could not detect any leak. I then ran the unit for several minutes and let is sit for a while. I checked all components again and could not detect a leak. During service I smelled no gas either. At the time of service the unit was running as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator freezing stuff in the refrigerator compartment. Upon arrival the customer stated that items will freeze around the ice maker and crisper drawers, but within the last week or two it has stopped. I checked temps and found the FC at 2?F, the RC by the crispers at 25?F, and the upper RC area at 33?F. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components running as designed. I gained access to the evap and found no ice build up nor any sign of a defrost issue. I gained access to the control and ohmd out all thermistors. The RC thermistor read 7.23k and the FC thermistor read 16.25k. These are accurate at the time of reading. I checked voltage going to the components from the control and found them good. At the time of service I found no faulty component. I informed the customer of my findings. I also let them know that due to the dampers and incoming cold air from the FC that sometimes items in the RC can get icy, and if they wanted to reduce this they can increase the temps on the UI. Contacted tech line and they advised since customer has had 2 refrigerator in unit, and both have had identical symptoms since rv was purchased, issue is most likely with rv and not refrigerator. Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Found control not activating defrost cycle. Control is not currently in stock and unit not in a condition to warrant service. No further repairs to be done.

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not filling with correct temperature issues of water. Found water hoses connected opposite of proper temp valves. Reset hose locations to proper position. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.
