"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, I removed the outer section of the panel and tested the unit in a normal wash. The basket filled approximately 3/4 full and began to agitate. I found no signs of a leak. I advanced the timer to spin and inspected the drain and hoses and again found no signs of a leak. I did find that at the back of the unit on the wall where there was a place on the baseboards where it was clean and on both sides of the clean area there was lint. I suspect the drain pipe might have possibly leaked or overflowed. I retested the unit three more times and it continued to operate as designed with no leaks. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and if possible to get a video of the leakage and contact our office if it does leak again. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer also stated that beyond the washer not completing cycles, the unit is making screeching sounds when spinning. Ran unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected during fill) error code. Tested both valves and found both valves pulling insufficient water. Filled up the basket a third of the way up the basket and attempted to drain out and did not find any siphoning conditions. Round the unit there an auto test in the unit ran as designed. I did hear the belt slipping on the cam causing the screeching issue. Ordering the cam and belt and will return with the water valve and control. "Arrived on site for fridge raider that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Found both fridge and freezer both operating as designed. The customer advised that the unit was initially cooling the freezer but theyre not calling the refrigerator and so she messed with the cold control inside the freezer and then the unit started calling the refrigerator but not freezing in the freezer. She advised that she had tried changing the temperature on her control and found it was not responding to any attempts to change the temperature setting. She advised that everything had come back on two days ago and has seemingly started to work but thought the control might still be causing an issue. I did not find any evidence of a defrost issue or a cooling issue. There was no frost or moisture buildup in either compartment. I did advise the customer that because the unit was cooling and operating as designed, there was not really a way for me to determine that at this juncture. Will go ahead and order a Control just in case and advise the customer to call us back and cancel if the unit continues to cool and operate as designed. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will get to the rent cycle and then completely stop and will not do anything further. Around the unit into diagnostics and found an F7 E1 ( basket speed fault) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Around the unit through a high speed spin for over two minutes and found the unit working as designed and not shutting down. I ran the unit through a tactometer test and found the tactometer was registering the basket speed properly. I checked polarity at the wall and found proper polarity. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7735383656. He had me run a couple checks through the capacitor and the motor in the wire harness and advise that everything checked out with the unit and to instead replace the control. I replaced the control and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Advise the customer to run through a few cycles and call back if any other issues persist. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling either section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that during the freeze, their house temperature is gotten to the low 50s when it was really cold. Advised that the compressor started making a noise and then completely stopped cooling. They advised that just a few days ago the unit started working again and has been cooling and operating as designed. Found the freezer and the refrigerator at proper temperatures with ice cream solid inside the freezer. I did advise the customer that if the temperatures are below 60?, it can cause issues like this with the refrigerator and that they will need to make sure that they keep their inside temperature between 60?F and 85?F. Arrived onsite for icemaker not working. On inspection found E5 error on the UI test. It would not call for water or do a harvest test. Installed new icemaker and re ran the test. Arrived onsite for a venthood with nothing working on it. I found the control had pushed all the way into the venthood housing because the mounting screws were loose. When this happened it bent the mounting bracket not allowing the high speed fan button to slide thru the opening smoothly. I straightened the bracket and mounted the control correctly. I tested the unit and all selections are working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that has unusual odor. Found loose connection at pump causing damage to wiring. Repaired wiring and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found

"Arrived on site for microwave, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was no heating. Tested unit and it was snot heating. Pulled unit out from cabinet and found that the was plug was directly in the middle of the cavity and when the unit was installed is bending the plug and causing it not to have the correct voltage when in use for mag to activate. Advised customer to move outlet and run the plug t it. Unit is operating as designed at this time. Job completed."

"WRV986FDEM01 Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the unit was not cooling and tapping the system revealed 4 of vacuum after the system was balanced and 19 of vacuum with 71 psi while running and after settling for 10 minutes. I exposed both evaporators and found no signs of leaks or dye. The back of the unit had evidence of a cabinet cold spot two inches below the control board cover, at the right lower corner. The appearance of the evaporated condensate was more recent in appearance and the cabinet was not corroded, but the amount of internal cabinet cooling must have been substantial due to the size of the affected area and amount of condensate that had ran down the back of the unit and onto the lower unit cover. I contacted the MFG tech line and spoke with tech Andrew. I advised of my findings and was given file #7735380595 The tech agreed with my findings, but due to MFG constraints, had to require pressure testing. I isolated the suspected affected section and found no issue at 140 psi. I elected to isolate the Yoder and found a leak and contacted the MFG a second time. I spoke with tech Adrian and advised the yoder isolation showed 6 psi of drop in 5 minutes. The unit has been submitted for review and the customer will be contacted for further instructions. No leaks observed

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Customer complaint was icemaker stayed in the twisted position. Tested unit in diagnostics and found that the ice maker was not responding. Inspected the wiring in the door hinge and found 5 broken wires. repair wiring by soldering wires no leaks where observed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was during the freeze unit started leaking. Inspected unit and found the main valve busted. Customer also informed me that the unit has been leaking water inside for a while. Inspected and found the RC drain tube clogged.

"Arrived on site for washer, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was over the freeze the washer started to leak. Tested unit and found no leaks anywhere. I explained to customer its possible the drain line was frozen and when the machine tried to drain it back up and overflowed. Unit is now operating as designed and no leaks where observed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not making ice. Cycled icemaker and found it cycles, but never calls for water. Tried to jump the terminal to run the valve, and icemaker shorted / shot sparks. Unit needs a new Icemaker and Valve due to short. Replaced icemaker and Valve. Cycled unit and verified all working as designed.

Arrived on site to reinstall oven door. Found tabs were not locked into the door. I was able to reset them and get the door reinstalled. Door did not have to be disassembled. Call complete.

"Arrived to inspect no power. I found the foam block above the upper cooling fan appeared to be incorrectly placed during manufacture and after time, it fell and was drawn into the blower, stopping upper blower rotation and subsequent cooling. I found the thermal fuse open and after removing and replacing, the unit would not power up. I verified both L1 and L2 to the expected contact points and did find 32.6 and 12.7 VDC at the connector for the UIs VFD at points 1-7 and 1-8, respectively. None of the MFG documentation listed the voltages for the UI and I elected to contact the technical assistance line, MFG tech Steve,SR#7735385509. I advised the of the initial findings and that there were no low VDC voltages published, required to diagnose the no power issue as being the main control or the UI. The tech contacted engineering and they could not provide the required documentation. The MFG tech recommended replacing the user interface and the main control. Due to the voltages found, I suspected the UI to be the issue. The customer is going to discuss with family members and may contact the MFG due to fears of other issues, and will contact us if they elect to have us instal the UI.

"Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and found there is no power showing on display. How are is good at terminal block removed front panel to inspect control board

"Arrived on site ,replaced gearcase ,clutch , stator ,slider , wash plate . Ran load calibration and test wash all checked normal. No water leaks detected . Job complete."

Arrived on site to test unit for no power test unit and found correct voltage. Will need new control and console.

"Arrived onsite for broken agitator. Upon arrival inspected unit and found agitator tube is fractured and separated from base of agitator. Need to replace agitator.Removed agitator and installed new agitator. Ran diagnostics and there are no saved error codes. No leaks present at this time. Job complete.

Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking. I inspected the unit and work area. The customer showed me a video of the unit leaking out the door. Inspected the interior of the door and found water splashing out. I inspected the bottom door seal and found it in good condition. I inspected the lower spray arm and found it split spray water where its not supposed to. I installed the new spray arm. I tested the unit and found everything cycling properly.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not turning on. Inspected unit and work area. Check voltage at the terminal block and found 36.7 V from line 1 to neutral, 120 V from line to the neutral and 90.1 V going from line 1 to line 2. Went to check voltage at the plug and found the unit turn on. Found arcing going on inside of the plug potentially causing the issue. The customer also explained that the timer was not advancing prior to the no power issue. Did verify the timer would not advance when I was able to get the unit to start. Found the timer itself was bad. Replaced the timer and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washer that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. My customer advised of the unit which water all over their floor when they were washing some bedding material and had cause the sink next to it to fill up with water as well. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working as designed until it got to the drain portion of the cycle. Found that the standpipe at the wall was backing up and overflowing leaking water onto the floor and causing the sink next to the washer to fill up with water as well. Did explain to the customer that the issue is not with the washer but with their drain pipe being clogged. Advised the customer that they will need to fix their draining issue for full resolution. Call complete.
