(CH) Arrived on site for dishwasher not heating and leaking. Upon arrival entered diagnostics and found no error codes indicating a hardware failure. During diagnostics verified heating element is getting 120V from main control. Then found that OWI sensor wasnt sensing correct temp and was covered in calcium buildup. I then fully disassembled unit and removed items under sink. After multiple back to back tests I found no leaks of any kind. I did however find multiple signs of areas where leaks could be occurring. Informed customer of findings and recommended a plumber to inspect under sink further. Call complete

"Arrived on site for wall oven not turning on. Upon arrival found 240v at power supply. Also found power supply was an old prior 1989 style supply that was incorrectly installed in 2 areas. After further inspection I called whirlpool techline and was able to retire unit board found no results in connection to ACU. Verify p6 and p11 connections per techline, also found thermosensor between line in and ACU was intact allowing stable power to ACU. also installed new ACU and ui controls. After repairs found same issue occurring due to style of old wiring. "Arrived on site for Water Dispensing Slowly. Found water only trickled when dispensing. Removed water line to ensure the water line wasnt kinked. Looked good. Removed customers filter and used bypass and water dispensed as designed. While working heard valve call for water and could hear the valve vibrating the reservoir. Removed reservoir and valve. Installed new reservoir and valve and installed customer filter. Tested dispenser and water came out strong for a short period, but then went back to a trickle. Informed customer their filter needed replacement. While discussing filter options we heard the valve call for water and the vibration and knocking was gone. With this, new reservoir and new valve are now allowing proper water flow. Customer chose to use the bypass for now unless they decide later to install a new filter of their own. No leaks detected. Upon arrival the customer stated that in order to start the unit they ha e to hold the door down and to stop it they must do the same. Upon further inspection I found the door hovering about half an inch when closed. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I ran a test cycle and found all that was wrong was I had to push down the lid to initiate the cycle. I found the cycle not finishing without doing that. I then gained access to the hinges and found they appeared fine. However they are not working correctly, so I am ordering new ones to install. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed sealed system parts to resolve sealed system leak. Evacuated system and found no pressure. When removing parts to replace compressor I found the drain tube for the RC was full of oil mixed into the water. When I removed the dryer, the dryer came out on fire due to oil and contaminants in it, and I also found the top of the dryer plugged. I proceeded to install the evaporator and compressor. Vacuumed unit for 30 minutes and verified vacuum holding. Attempted to charge system and found it would only take 2 oz of Freon. Removed dryer and tried to push with Freon through heat loop. You will hear air for a second and then it plugs. I tried heating the heat loop line and cutting off a small section from the bottom. Retried and the heat loop is still restricted. Called and spoke to Ed at tech line, SR7731087762. Tech line sent report for product review to engineering, as troubleshooting steps have already been taken to attempt to unrestrict line. "Arrived on site for CSI Brian Workman advised the far left knob need adjustment. Found far left knob was damaged and wouldnt stay attached to the valve. Once replaced customer noticed the far right knob was tilting to the right. Found far right valve stem was not properly secured and attempted to resecure it in the center position. Now knob valve sits loose and knob wiggles back and fourth. Checked for any gas leaks and there were none detected. Ordering a new far right valve W10859922 to complete the repair. Arrived onsite for unit not heating as quick to cook. Tested the unit up to 350 and 400 degrees. Unit working as designed. Checked internal temperature with internal thermostat and it checked 10 degrees hotter. Let tenant know that the unit does take time to get up to desired temperature as they are used gas stoves. "Arrived on site for a range that was getting a F3E0 error code. Upon arrival the F3E0 error code for shorted sensor was flashing on the UI. I cleared the error code and put the unit into diagnostic mode. I found the diagnostics mode was reading no temp, indicating a sensor error. I gained access to the back of the unit and ohmd out the outlet, both elements, and the fuse. All read good. I then ohmd out the sensor and got 1k ohmd which is within range. I also ohmd out the harness and found it good. Once I plugged the unit back in it started working and I was actually able to preheat it. This indicates an intermittent faulty control. Arrived on site for a refrigerator with a water dispenser leaking. Upon arrival the customer stated it generally has small droplets coming from it all day. I found the customer has hard water and advised the customer this could of created the issue. I installed a new filter head and valve to stop the drip. I informed them that with hard water this could occur again. I also found they have a new filter in it and the unit did not do this with their prior filter. I advised them if the unit continues to drip they may want to replace the filter too. Unit is working as designed. No leaks observed at the end of service.

Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found ice is not dispensing. Removed ice bin and found motor is making noise but shaft and coupler are not moving. "Arrived on site for a cooktop leaking gas. Upon arrival the customer stated that he has had plumbers come out twice to check pressures and for leaks. They did not find any leaks on the lines themselves. The customer also stated that you would have to use several burners at once to smell the leak, and even sometimes the pressure under their cabinets would cause the door to crack open. They stated depending on which burners they use it may even leak from the top. I gained access to the bottom and used my leak detector while running the burners on the line and regulator. I found no leaks. However, I could smell gas. I continued to run the right two and middle burners and could smell gas seeping out of the front left burner. I used my leak detector their and still found no bubbles forming. I gained access to the manifold, tubings, and orifice holders. I found major corrosion on the middle orifice holder and its tubing from the manifold. This may be where the leak is coming from. I called techline and spoke to Joel and received SR# 7731084149. Joel advised to replace the orifice holder, tubing, and manifold. Ordering parts and will return with the manifold to complete the repair. Office to reschedule. Upon inspection found the right side hinge making direct contact with the cavity of dishwasher. Used pliers to gently pull the right side hinge away from the cavity to prevent the pad from rubbing so hard against the cavity. Installed new pads and door opens and closes as designed. Door was not off center and door was properly mounted to the counter. Inspected hinges to make sure they were mounted properly and it looked good. Job completed.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with clicking noise. Upon inspection I found the noise coming from the back of the unit. I accessed the compressor area and found a pice of tape stuck on the condenser fan motor and the blades were hitting the tape causing the noise. Arrived onsite for refrigerator defrost issues. Upon inspection found defrost heater wire disconnected. Secured connector and tested. Bypassed bimetal and ran test. Unit is functioning properly. Adjusted defrost timer to basic mode. Job complete

Did find drain nose inserted over 12 in into standpipe so made adjustment to recommended 4 in. Could not duplicate any issues. Arrived on site for water dispenser chattering. I inspected the unit and work area. I found both valves chattering when dispensing water. I replaced both water valves and adjust the water line. I found the chatter is gone. I spoke to the customer about it the chattering comes back to install a water pressure reducer. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for an ice machine making no ice. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit is remaining cool, but not producing ice after a clean cycle. Upon further inspection I found the service light was not blinking. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found both the bin and evap thermistors reading good. I then turned on the water valve and found it working as designed. However, upon further inspection I found the bin already full of water and the valve ran several minutes still. The LED light continued to flash indicating an empty bucket even with a full bin. The recirculating pump ran as designed and so did the drain pump. I found a good frost pattern and the condenser fan turned on. I also found hot gas valve working. This indicates only a faulty water level sensor, and it will need to be replaced to function correctly.No leaks observed at the time of service. "Arrived on site for rf condensation on both doors leaking onto middle door the gasket on the right side has recently been replaced. Issue continues every day. Called tech line upon arrival and spoke to Bruce. Bruce had me place the fridge in diagnostics and run test 40. In test 40 the selection reflected 01. Bruce had me change it to 02. Now horizontal mullion will remain on at all times now that 02 has been selected. He then had me run test 34 and the selection already showed 02 reflecting the vertical mullion was always on. Our tech placed the vertical mullion in 02 in May of 2020 to keep vertical mullion on at all times. Tech line also had me confirm the temperature inside the home. Used my thermocouple to take temps inside the home and it was 77 degrees. Tech line stated anytime the fridge is inside a room with temps above 74 degrees condensation is normal in these areas where condensation has been found today and in past visits. Tech line stated if the customer keeps there home at or below 74 degrees the condensation will not be as prevalent or not here at all. With both mullion heaters being on full time this should make a difference on how much condensation is found along with keeping the temperature at 74 degrees or below. "Arrived on site and inspected a Kenmore side by side refrigerator with cooling issues. Confirmed the unit compressor would come on for approximately 15 seconds and cut off. Removed and replaced it, plugged it in and the unit compressor came on and remained on. "Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator that was losing some cooling, making a lot of noise, and fan motor not fully running. Found the fan was surging and the Ui was constantly resetting and recycling. Unplugged fan and unit seemed to be consistent. Replaced fan with new fan to test, and even with new fan unit was still recycling. Provided estimate for a new control to resolve, as only remaining components are the control and wiring. . Replaced control and found symptoms not only persisted, but got worse. Unit constant recycling and compressor wont stay on.Tried unplugging several components but issue still persists. The screen was flashing and in between flashes an hour glass was displayed with a hand reaching out to something with a no symbol over the hand. Called tech line to explain what I was seeing. Arrived on site for crisper drawer. No one answered the door.

"Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found water and ice are not dispensing. Water and ice will dispense If left interior door switch is held down. Found an indention on the inner surface of the left hand fresh food door keeping switch from fully closing. Added a adhesive spacer And switch is now operating properly and water and ice will dispense, job complete"

Arrived onsite to replace latch to the u it. Customer had there own part to replace with. Replaced latch. Tested unit. Unit tested good. No issues at this time. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for washer not spinning clothes out. Upon arrival put unit in diagnostics and found stored error code for out of balance. Ran auto test and in spin cycle tub was banging around. Checked suspension and rods were visibly failed. Replaced suspension rods and tested. Unit is functioning properly. Unit does spin. Job complete

Arrived on site and set washer into a diagnostic cycle and ran cold and hot water and did not find any leaking. Ran automatic test cycle several times and washer did not leak from connections or drain hose or stand pipe. Took a 30 second video of washer filling and sent it to CS. There is no drain pan present under washer connected to second floor drain.job complete

"Arrived on site for ice maker leaking water again intermittently. Performed diagnostics mode and ran ice maker harvest cycle. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Drew, went over prior service performed and parts replaced. Tested all components and checked wire harness. Drew stated to replace wire harness for possible voltage bleed. Sr# attached to original file number. ; ordrng 1 W11171078 (WIRE HARNESS )"

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the main harness/terminal block. I tested the unit and it is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

Powered unit off at circuit breaker. Removed unit to gain access to blower. Removed failed blower and thermostat and installed new. Assembled unit and powered on. Tested operation and found fan and bake element working. Reinstalled unit and tested operation. All tested good.

Tech was assigned as a helper;

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that is not cooling. Performed diagnostic on unit. Found the start device sounded like it was shorted, and made almost a zap. Replaced control and start device to resolve. Retested unit and now the start device does click, but compressor isnt starting. Checked windings and found resistance out of spec, indicating a short in the compressor. I also found a green puddle that appears to have leaked from the Dryer. Called tech line, SR7731079408. Recommended piercing or removing the dryer to see if burnt oil can be verified. ; ordrng 1 SealedSystemTech (SS Tech)"

Arrived onsite and replaced control and console together to repair in responsive symptom. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair.

"Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found icemaker is stuck, motor is not running. Ran test 120 and icemaker will not move.

Arrived onsite for microwave turning on by itself. Upon inspection found loose interlock. Interlock switch was causing fan to kick on when cycle hadn?t started. Secured interlock and tested. Also notified customer that the unit has a sensor that will trigger the blower fan to kick on if the temperature from the cooktop reaches a certain point. The fan should be allowed to stay on until temperature cools. Tested unit and unit is functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site for a dryer not heating well. I used my vent test kit and found poor airflow for all dryers. I also measured temp fluctuations with my thermocouple and found very slow fluctuations. This indicates a blockage at the wall and I advised the customer they may want to get it checked out. I found the unit working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for breaker tripping and icicles forming under icemaker. Removed icemaker diagnosed water leaking from housing also found paint in mold chipping away. Replaced icemaker assembly,ran diagnostics on optics passed.
