I removed the cabinet from the unit and tested in a spin cycle and found the drain pump seals are bad and causing it to leak water. "Arrived on site for whirlpool washing machine making a screeching noise during use. I inspected the unit and work area. I found no fault codes in diagnostics. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit making the noise during spin speed changes, but goes away once the unit reaches speed. I inspected the gearcase and found no signs of an oil leak. I found signs of the belt slipping on the cam pulley and the belt being really loose. I swapped in a new belt and cam. I calibrated the unit and retested the spin. I checked to see if the interior light would come on when opening the door and it failed. I removed the control panel and tested voltage at the control and got zero volts. I removed the terminal block cover and found the L1 had shorted out with the neutral on the main harness (photo). I was going to repair the harness, but found the terminal block was melted and could not be reused. I tested the fuse, cutoff, thermostat and element and all are good. "Arrived on site to diagnose range that had died during preheat. Checked wiring at terminal block and harness. Found wiring was all good, with no burns or exposed /wiring. Tested unit and found after a couple minutes breaker would trip. Reset breaker and retested. Breaker tripped again a couple minutes later. Reset again and unit finished preheating and cycling fine. Could not get breaker to trip again. Found breaker was actually a GFCI breaker for the 240v range. Called into tech line SR7734899449. Advised tech line of my findings and the fact it's a GFCI for a 240v appliance. Tech Line advised that if I couldn't find any part failures and it finished the preheat its likely the breaker tripping due to being sensitive/elements cycling with voltage draws. Unit is working as designed. Advised customer the unit is not designed to run on GFCI circuits, and an electrician may need to resolve. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is periodically tripping the breaker. The CX confirmed the breaker would trip in the middle of a cycle at times. I found the circuit breaker is a new style GFCI style breaker. I checked the wiring at the terminal block and found it all correct. I did find the neutral connection slightly loose. I tightened the connection and tested the dryer. The dryer was working as designed. I temped the double pole breaker and the top half went from room temp to 97 degrees and the bottom half went from room temp to 111 degrees. I showed all this to the CX. I advised to watch the garage temp at the panel and see when it is actually tripping. I suspect a defective breaker and advised the customer to get it changed if this continues. Call complete.

"Arrived to inspect WOS31ES0JS01 temperature issue as reported by inspection. I placed a K-type thermocouple within the chassis and set it a the industry standard testing temperature of 350F. This particular model has the Rapid Preheat and I set it to Standard Preheat for multi-rack and conventional use, due to the rapid calibrating only for the uppermost part of the chamber as an energy conservation feature. The unit claimed preheat with an actual internal temperature of 418 (common) and to account for initial door opening and addition of baked goods and then declined to 322. Cycling temperatures were 388, 331, 389. Averaging 369, I induced a -15 offset and retested and the unit was within 2 degrees of the selected temperature. I tested the sensor within service test mode and it was within 3 degrees of the thermocouple. No further repairs required."

Upon arrival customer stated that unit stayed on for a full cycle and there didnt seem to be any heating issues but they noticed partway through most cycles depending on the size of the load that the dryer and make a squealing noise at random. Upon further inspection I was able to confirm and verify that the roller support was starting to fail on the front side of the bulkhead.
