"Arrived on-site for oven not allowing heat functions. Upon arrival I was able to remove oven from wall and disassembled and tested all heating hardware. Found heating element had a burnt connection, oven sensor was reading 1.6ohms at room temp, and the t.o.d sensor had failed. After replacing all 3 parts I was then able to reassemble and test oven on bake and broil setting. Showed customer results. Oven now functioning as designed call complete."

Arrived on site for cooktop cracking glass during use. Upon arrival customer had stated she payed a cooking pot on glass to let some water boil. After 5 minutes of back left burner boiling water customer stated she heard a lot crack and turned from sink and found glass had broken while unit was in use. From cracks on back left area it shows burner overheated and pushed glass slightly outward away from burner. This is due to a malfunction with gland and bAck left burner. Arrived on site for oven making a popping noise. I inspected the unit and work area. I set the oven to 400 degrees and let it run. I found the oven making popping noise from thermal expansion from the metal plates heating and cooling. I inspected the valve and found it shutting off properly. I found the igniter wiring harness pinched and not allowing good contact with the igniter. I corrected and repaired the wiring. The unit is working as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine making a loud sound. Upon arrival the customer stated the real issue was it would not lock well. He also stated he thought it may be a little to loud while spinning. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found error codes F5E2 for lid lock failure, F5E3 for lid lock will not unlock, F0E5 for off balance, F5E1 for lid switch fault, F2E1 for stuck key, and F6E2 for UI and ACU communication failure. I cleared all error codes. I then went to manually activate the lid lock and it began to click several times and throw both F5E3/2 error codes. I had to unplugged the unit to get it to stop. I gained access to the control and found the lid lock bad. I also tested the control and UI and found both good. I performed the key and encoder test and it passed. This indicates only a failed lid latch. I advised the customer we would need to replace the latch before any further testing. However, I did gain access to the bottom of the unit and found significant gear case oil. This is most likely were the sound is coming from and indicates a failing gear case.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling in RC. Recorded temperature at 58 degrees. Found no fan running. Ran diagnostics and found error code of defrost issue and fan error. Upon further inspection found evaporator compartment completely frozen over. The unit will require multiple parts as well as sealed system components due to the defrost issues. The defrost heater is part of the evaporator assembly.

Arrived on site for CSI DW not working. Placed in diagnostics and valve would not call for water. No error codes came on. Tested valve and it had failed. Removed valve and installed new valve. Placed in diagnostics again and valve called for water with new valve installed. Ran through full diagnostics and dishwasher completed all cycles. No leaks detected. Job completed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not making enough ice and also creating snowy ice blockages u dear ice bucket. Upon arrival found bucket half way filled with ice and blockage of snowy ice under bucket. Upon further inspection I found the separated previously installed was failing to seal agin. I called whirlpool techline and spoke with Austin sr#7731078593. Reported findings of ice maker passing all diagnostics tests, and that no ice or weird formations were found any except ice bucket under side. Was instructed to replace separated again. Arrived back on site to inspect a washer in the 3rd floor laundry center.Confirmed the complaint and found the lid lock was broken again due to guests of the hotel forcing the lid up before the lid latch and control unlock the unit.

Arrived on site for cooktop needing previously diagnosed burner parts. Upon arrival I was able to remove and install a new from middle burner. I was not able to safely remove the front right burner. All the screws (including the middle burner that is repaired) are seized to the point that they are crumbling when turned. In order to safely repair unit the front three manifolds will need to be replaced to due to how the burners will need to be drilled out and removed. "Arrived on site for wall oven not allowing upper oven to kick on. Upon arrival ran diagnostics but found no codes. Upon further disassembly I found no voltage coming from main control to any upper oven hardware. (Lower oven worked great) I tested t.o.d. Sensors to upper and lower oven and found resistance and continuity both within needed specs. Also found upper oven temp sensor and lower sensor ohming each between 1.093 & 1.094 ohms each at room temp. Also found both elements to upper and lower ovens werent broken and had great resistance according to 27.4 ohm when compared to tech sheet. During repairs I found u it had shown signs of previous repairs. During removal of main control I found trim and mounted bracket to ui were both broken and barely hanging in place and able to cover hv control properly. Due to nature of repairs will need autho for control, trim and panel. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised thst the ice maker is working fine; its the dispenser thats not working again. I tested the dispenser and it failed to function properly. I removed the ice bin and retested the dispenser and the motor failed to turn. I removed the ice maker/housing and attempted to turn the motor by hand and it is seized. Also found the solenoid getting stuck and the right RC door gasket is torn. Contacted techline and spoke to Andrew and advised of the compliant, previous repairs, and my findings. Andrew had me check voltage to the motor and I got 120V. Andrew recommended replacing the motor again and ordering it from Whirlpool stock and also order the divider and yoke/impeller just in case. Provided SR#7731070861. I advised my customer of the conversation and recommendations. I am ordering the dispenser motor, divider, impeller, solenoid and right RC door gasket and CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION. "Arrived on site for dryer not allowing proper lint screen placement. Upon arrival I found lint screen removed and a major clog sitting within lint exhaust. Upon further disassembly in dryer I found no evidence that the clog had caused any hardware failures after finishing tests I found nothing other then the lint exhaust clogged causing lint screen not to sit properly. After reporting findings to customer, they stated they would rather clear clog themselves. I then finished reassembling unit.

Arrived on site and inspected washer not allowing the customer to make selections. Confirmed the complaint and cycled power and even attempted diagnostics test mode and unit never moved from the delicates cycle. Even tried rotating the selector knob and unit simply beep twice constantly F8E1 Long fill and F2E1 Stuck button. I attempted the encoder test to try and isolate the stuck key and unit still didnt allow me to access and specific cycles. Order the complete console W11112656 to complete the repair and will return with the valve for the long fill error. Needs more work ; ordrng 1 W11112656 (CONSOLE)

"Arrived on site to inspect venthood noises. Upon further, the customer turned the unit on high speed and I could hear what sounded like something rubbing on the blower wheel. I removed the blower and found a mounting screw above the wheel that was down too far and was rubbing on the wheel. I adjusted the screw/backed it out and reinstalled the blower and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is flashing an F1 E1 error code. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found the unit flashing that code for a main control fault as soon as you press start. Got authorization from a S to replace the main control. Replaced main control and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that won?t spin out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Please do not in service diagnostics and found an F7 E1 b(basket speed fault), F0 E5 (off balance load), and F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error codes. I ran the unit through a manual high speed spin and found the agitator spinning and the basket skipping. Attempted to remove the agitator and found the agitator completely locked onto the driveshaft. Attempted to remove with vice grips and a dryer belt but was unable to. Lifted up on the inner basket and found the basket hitting the agitator indicating the inner spline of the basket was broken too. Tried to break the agitator free that way but was unable to as well. Unit will need a full rebuild for repair

Arrived on site for an ice machine that is making ice slowly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does continue to run and make ice but that the unit hasn?t filled the bin in a week. I did ask the customer if they are still consistently using ice out of the bin and he advised they are. He had a concern about the unit draining in the back of the bin causing ice to melt. I did inform him that that is normal when the unit does drain the water reservoir. Ran through the diagnostic test and found all the components of the machine working properly. I did notice the unit is in a cabinet that barely fits the ice machine. The surrounding cabinet of the ice machine was pretty warm to touch indicating that there is restricted airflow from the condenser fan to remove the heat. I did advise the customer that that could be partially causing their issue. I called tech line and spoke to Dustin SR# 7731073239. He advised that the issue appeared to be an issue with installation and usage. He advised to have the customer make sure the cabinet holding the unit is wide enough and has enough clearance for the unit to have proper airflow.Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed part. Powered unit off at circuit breaker. Removed failed UI and installed new. Powered unit on and tested operation. Performed diagnostics mode and checked configuration. All tested good.

"Arrived on site to inspect oven temps. Upon further inspection, I found the customer using a round metal mercury type thermometer in the oven. Using my multimeter, I placed the thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. Temp readings were within range and average temp was 359 degrees. Also found some debris within the oven door glass. Removed the debris and reinstalled the door. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that?s still won?t power on. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit ran three wash cycles before turning off again. She did advise that her friend from across the street came by and found out that her issue was with her plug. She said she was able to wash another cycle of dishes again yesterday but wanted me to check it out anyway. Turned on the unit and found the unit tripped the breaker. Tested the unit several times and found the unit tripping the breaker within five seconds of the unit turning itself on. I called GE Techline and spoke to Greg (case # 06065804). He had me run a few tests checking resistance through the wash motor and drain pump and found them within range. He advised that the issue would?ve had to have been with the main control or the electrical supply within the house and being that the unit is on a shared GFCI circuit and the main control was just replaced, it would most likely be with a breaker or plug inside the home. He said the I advise the customer of GE?s findings and advised them to get an electrician out to fix the electrical supply. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher leaking. Upon arrival the customer said someone had already come and looked at it. He had stated they already found it was the water line and the builder is having a plumber come service it.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. Upon inspection I found no error codes stored in the unit. I found the inlet valve vibrating when called for water but no water. I replaced the valve but still no water. The customer then informed me that the hot water line had recently been replaced. I checked and there is no water flow through the valve at the wall. I switched the water line over to the active valve and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the oven on bake at 350 degrees. I found the glow ignitor illuminating but the burner is not lighting. I removed the bottom panel and found the burner has a burn out spot at the ignitor and will need to be replaced, along with the ignitor. I am ordering the burner and ignitor and scheduled return serviceNo gas leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 WB16K10043 (Burner)"

"Arrived on site and inspected dryer not turning. Confirmed the complaint and disassembled the unit and found multiple failures inside the unit. The idler pulley was shredded, causing the belt to stop spinning.Found the blower housing is aged brittle and cracking to the point it didnt fit back into the unit when I reassembled. The customer advised he heard loud noises suspected it to be the damaged blower housing. Ordering the pulley, housing and will return with the belt. Found range side panel dented, informed customer on panel and was requested dent inwards. Installed new outer door and correct dent in side panel. Tested door operation. All tested good. "Arrived on site for washer not advancing through cycles. Upon arrival I ran diagnostics but found no error codes stored. Upon further inspection I found unit filling draining and spinning but during agitate the cam wasnt activated to allow transfer between agitate and spin. I then found actuator had broken and not allowing a proper disengagement of cam assembly. I installed new actuator, reassembled and tested unit. Found full functionality of washer during fill,agitation,spin, & drain. Call complete"

Arrived on site and inspected built in unit with cooling issues. Confirmed the complaint and found 77&68 degrees in ff/freezer compartments. Accessed the compressor and found it was running with a .13 amp draw. Unit evaporator fan was working. There was a massive ice buildup inside the freezer compartment on top of the evaporator. I called SW after updating her in the non complete thread and a sealed system repair and technician is needed to complete the repair. Ordering the parts for the repair.Also ordering a sealed system technician with 2 hours and authorization . Needs more work ; ordrng 1 4388574 (EVAPORATOR) and 1 2003002 (EXCHANGER) and 1 W10143759 (DRIER W/VALVE) and 1 8201558 (COMPRESSOR) and 1 WPW10143759 (Uv drier) and 1 Authorization (Sealed system technician & 2 hours)
