"Arrived on site for a washing machine making a loud noise. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit will make a very loud noise during the final spin, and when the shifter activates. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I then ran a service cycle and it ran through as designed with no noise. The customer then informed me it was an intermittent issue. I individually activated each component and ran the high spin/agitate for a while and could never replicate the noise. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found everything looking as designed. I called techline and spoke to Kathy and received SR# 7731092827. Found element cycle off for 39 seconds and on. Found around fifth or six cycle ignitor with glow but no flame. Disassembled unit and bypassed door switch. Measured amp draw to igniter and found 4.7 amps at its highest. Powered unit off and test coils and found 3 prong opened. Will need to replace coils to repair. S Removed failed coils and installed new. Assembled unit and tested operation. All tested good.

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that has uneven doors. Found unit not leveled at time of installation. Leveled unit properly and all is working properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.

Removed suspension rods and installed new suspension rods. Placed in diagnostics and ran calibration. Placed in diagnostics and ran a full auto diagnostics cycle and washer is running as designed. Arrived onsite for washer not operating no power.upon arrival found unit control was damaged and control panel not responding to touch replaced both and found valve on cold side not opening correctly. Replaced all three and tested unit is now operating as designed. Job Completed.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator losing cool. Upon arrival the customer stated things in the RC started getting soft and ruining faster. Also that some condensation build up was appearing in the FC. They were still having low ice production too. I checked the temps and found the FC at 13?F and the RC at 50?F. I gained access to the FC evap and found a good frost pattern. I found several inches of ice build up on the RC evap cover, and frozen water on the bottom of the RC. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found thermistors passed, all fans and airflow components working properly, put the defrost in basic mode, and found the defrost working as designed. I then gained access to the control and ohmd out the thermistors. I found the RC thermistor at 9.8k (reading roughly 30?F, which is about accurate due to ice), the FC thermistor at 4.9k (reading roughly 50?F, which is roughly correct after door being open and defrost activated), and the RC evap thermistor at 25k ohms (reading roughly -5?F, which is more than likely accurate due to the amount of ice build up). I gained access to the drain tube due to the sheet of ice on the bottom of the RC. I found it slightly clogged and cleared it. This indicates a possible UI and control issue. I am ordering the UI and will return with all other parts. Return tech to install UI and Control. They will also need to gain access to the RC evap to check if the thermistor has correct placement, for this could also cause the issue. I advised the customer they will need to keep the cooling off at least 48 hours before service to thaw out ice. I had them sign the defrosting refrigerator waiver. "Arrived on site to replace compressor, filter drier, and coupler. After replacing, unit would not hold vacuum, I heard a very faint hissing noise coming from refrigerant line feeding filter drier. I bubble tested my welds, that tested good, I was not able to gain access to where the leak was coming from.

After further inspection I found drain line under sink was never properly raised. I found the outlet thermistor out of range so I replaced. I could not pinpoint the noise so I called techline. They recommended replacing the motor and installing a noise reduction kit. I am ordering the W11378591 sound reduction kit and tech lines SR#7731097963 Drew. I cleared out all the ice to verify flow down the drain. I verified flow down the drain and could not find any mechanical failure. I explained that leaving the door open or if stuff in the freezer keeps the door from shutting it can cause ice to form over the drain. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling well in the RC. Upon inspection I found the unit powered off. I tested the heaters resistance and it showed in range. I checked voltage at the ADC and it checked good. I turned on the unit and found a frost pattern forming on the evaporator. I inspected the drain tube and found the duck bill drain cap clogged. I i cleared the duck bill the cap to allow water to flow through. I advised the customer that with the unit being located in the garage it can cause issues with cooling especially in the summer months. Everything checks good electrically and mechanically. I advised the customer to monitor the unit over the next few days to ensure it restores to proper temps. Job complete.

Upon further inspection, I found the lid in the closed position but gapped approximately 1/2 inch from the top panel. I removed the console and inspected the hinges and found when the lid pops back up the 1/2 inch, the hinges dont move. I contacted techline and spoke to Sterling and advised of the complaint and my findings. Sterling advised to replace the hinges and inspect the lid to make sure its not warped. He provided SR#7731088956. Customer advised that the display shows 1 minute at the end of the cycle and nothing is happening with the unit. "Arrived on site for a washing machine and still not finishing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected) error code. Ran through the valves and found the hot water valve not pulling in water. The customer advised that she had turned off the hot water to the unit. The unit was set on cool which would also pour hot water into the machine. I did inform the customer that that was probably why her unit wasn?t finishing cycles because the unit was unable to get hot water to the unit and they shut itself off after a certain amount of time. I turned the hot water valve at the wall back on. The customer advised that that was not it and that it was not completing cycles. Ran through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Ran through both manual agitation and spin tests. Both ran as designed for 2 minutes. The customer advised that the unit might be doing that without clothes in it but it would not do anything while she has towels in the machine. Had the customer get a load of towels and sheets and ran a heavy duty cycle. I did instruct the customer about not mixing loads. The unit filled and began agitating as designed. I canceled the cycle and placed the unit in a drain and spin cycle. The unit ran as designed. . I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Kathy SR# 7731082386. She advised that based on the results, the issue is a loading and installation issue. She advised the customer need to have both valves turned on for the unit to run properly and to make sure the customer goes through her user care guide for pertinent information about the unit. Upon arrival was able to confirm the heating element is intact but is not receiving power from the main control or the oWi. upon further investigation found a lot of water corrosion around main control. I then found water has been leaking from door seal on right side and caused shortage between main control and owi sensor. come back and install and repair new main control, owi sensor as well as a new door seal. Arrived on site for washer giving F6 E2 error code as well as not turning on or responding after coded appear. Upon further investigation I found that the main control had stopped sending a stable five DC volt connection to the UI panel but instead was bouncing between one DC vault and 50 DC volt I also found that on the ui control itself there was burn marks near harness connections.

During diagnostics verified heating element is getting 120V from main control. Then found that OWI sensor wasnt sensing correct temp and was covered in calcium buildup. I then fully disassembled unit and removed items under sink. After multiple back to back tests I found no leaks of any kind. I did however find multiple signs of areas where leaks could be occurring. Informed customer of findings and recommended a plumber to inspect under sink further. Call complete

"Arrived on site for wall oven not turning on. Upon arrival found 240v at power supply. Also found power supply was an old prior 1989 style supply that was incorrectly installed in 2 areas. After further inspection I called whirlpool techline and was able to retire unit board found no results in connection to ACU. Verify p6 and p11 connections per techline, also found thermosensor between line in and ACU was intact allowing stable power to ACU. also installed new ACU and ui controls. After repairs found same issue occurring due to style of old wiring. Techline and tech agree a professional electrician is required to update power supply in order to establish a proper connection to ACU and rest of oven. Call completeBrian sr#7731088086"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. Remove the dishwasher from the wall and started to disassemble the wash pump motor. Found rodent damage done to wiring of the unit that was not there on the prior visit. Attempted to wire nut the wiring back together but found the wires too tight indicating that the wire nut may not hold.

"(Tw) Onsite for freezer section leaking water and freezing up. Found gasket sagging on the bottom side of FC door and ice build up has damaged the active springs in the rails of FC section. RC temp 35 degrees, FC temp 2 degrees. Also, C/S freezer light not working. Found ice build up froze over switch not allowing switch to move. Removed ice from switch and light is now functioning properly. Ordering gasket and both rails for FC door.; ordrng 1 W10407216 (Gasket) and 1 W10625067 (Left bracket) and 1 W10625068 (Right bracket)"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Found front panel and kick plate already removed. Reached out to office and Tommy confirmed he reassembled the dishwasher before he left. Removed wash motor and installed new wash motor. Ran through normal cycle and dishwasher is washing as designed. Could not get the front panel secured, but was able to re secure the kick plate. No leaks detected.

"Arrived on site for Water Dispensing Slowly. Found water only trickled when dispensing. Removed water line to ensure the water line wasnt kinked. Looked good. Removed customers filter and used bypass and water dispensed as designed. While working heard valve call for water and could hear the valve vibrating the reservoir. Removed reservoir and valve. Installed new reservoir and valve and installed customer filter. Tested dispenser and water came out strong for a short period, but then went back to a trickle. Informed customer their filter needed replacement. While discussing filter options we heard the valve call for water and the vibration and knocking was gone. With this, new reservoir and new valve are now allowing proper water flow. Customer chose to use the bypass for now unless they decide later to install a new filter of their own. No leaks detected. Job completed."

Arrived on site for screw found in dispenser ice . Checked all possiably missing screws in ice bin and around ice maker . ( quick pic) . Couldnt find any missing screws . No other issues found . No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

Arrived on site to diagnose a microwave that had thermal event.

Arrived onsite and found full tube had frozen again. Replaced valve and cleared ice again. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. All checks good.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that is making unusual noise. Found idler pulley squealing and replaced it. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time.
