"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating properly. Upon further inspection, I tested the dryer on high heat on timed dry. The ignitor illuminated and the burner came on, but for a brief period of time (approximately 20 secs). Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit and both tests passed. I checked the vent as it vents directly outside and found a large amount of lint on the ground. Using my borescope, I checked the vent and it appeared to be clear. I disassembled the unit and tested the ignitor coils and found the coils bad I removed and replaced the coils and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not spinning. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and check for thermal fuse. Found the thermal fuse closed indicating a good thermal fuse. Disassembled the unit and found that that motor shaft had broken that holds the belt. Found the belt stripped due to improper placement of the belts. Went to remove the blower wheel and found it seized on the drive motor shaft. The customer agreed to the repair. Replaced the blower wheel, motor, and belt and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

"arrived on site for KitchenAid builtin fridge making a squealing noise during water dispensing. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the dispenser squealing with a water filter in and not when out. I attempted to remove the fridge from the cabinet to turn off the water so no water leaks on to the customers wood floor. I found the fridge stuck in the cabinet, pinched between the outer trim not allowing the fridge to move. I spoke to the customer and let them know because of how tight the fridge is in the cabinet, I cannot force the fridge out, without causing any damage to the cabinet. They would have to get the fridge removed and the cabinet trimmed properly.

"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine leaking water. Upon further inspection, I found the floor damaged from the customer pulling the unit out of its space (photo). The customer advised that the unit leaked water and it came out from the bottom left corner. I removed the front grill and inspected the water valve and tubing and found no signs of a water leak. Using my floor protector, I pulled the unit out and removed the back cover to inspect the external drain pump. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit is operating as designed with no leaks found. I turned the unit on and allowed it perform a normal cycle and the unit continued to operate as designed with no leaks. The external drain pump and hoses were all dry. I advised the customer of my findings. Customer advised that they would keep the unit turned on and if it began to leak again, they would call it in for service. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which sounded like the valve struggling to dispense water into the tub. The noise occurred at 1:58 and 1:42 on the display. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E2-valve electrical problem. Cleared the code and continued with testing. I never heard the valve make any unusual noises, but when the sump/motor began to force water to the spray arms, I could hear the noise but very faint. I tested two more times and could not duplicate the noise. I contacted techline and spoke to Cliff and advised the complaint and my findings. Cliff recommended replacing the valve and sump/motor assembly and provided SR#7734878023. I will return with all prescreened parts. "Arrived to inspect no spin. I found the clutch would not engage and after disassembling, determined there was oil within the friction material to clutch contact points. The upper seal of the gear case output shaft had failed and most of the oil had likely been flung out of the unit at a much earlier time. Further inspection revealed the prior drive tube issue was due to the drive block having its retaining lip worn away. I removed and replaced the block, but the gear case will require replacement. I did ind possible evidence of a pinhole leak in the tub, but it will need to be investigated during the gear case instal. No leaks of the water supply observed during service. Tech GC please.; ordrng 1 285785 (Clutch) and 1 3360629 (Gear Case) and 1 GCO (GCO)"

"Arrived onsite for and refrigerator that in not cooling upon inspection I found that a hard start was installed on the unit. Upon further inspection I found that the compressor was pulling .98 amps and the temps in the rc was at 80* and fc was at 73* I contacted Bruce at tech line and tolled him of my findings and it was determined that theres a leak in the sealed system and that the compressor would be covered but the harness and start device would have to be replaced with an oem one and cx would not be covered for those parts. Due to the nature of the seals system leak the evap access valve and uv dryer will have to be replaced, I also found that the right side rc door gasket was tipped causing a air leak. I removed the control panel and found the thermal fuse blown. I tested the 120V & 70V thermostats that sit behind the panel and found the 70V thermostat bad. Using my jumper wire, I bypassed the thermostat connectors and used another jumper to bypass the fuse and plugged the unit in and it came on.I am ordering the thermostats, cutoffs, fuse (2) and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST . Upon further inspection I found cause of the freezer door not shutting correctly had been due to a prior clogged drain line from the freezer evaporator and was able to clear the clog and ensure that the freezer door could open and shut properly. Further inspection revealed substantial gapping at the lower mullion-to-border area, in excess of .25. Both door gaskets wee unable to conform to the gapping and curvature of the mullion and light could be seen through both as well. Prior to further attempted repair of this unit, the mullion issue had to be addressed and I contacted the MFG tech assist line, tech Adrian. File# 7734871550. I advised the tech of my findings and the unit has been submitted for PEX. No leaks observed during service."

Checked incoming power and found when start button is pressed one leg jumps up to 190 votes from 120 while the other leg drops to 40 V from 120. This is an issue with the incoming power not the dryer. Customer will contact an electrician to correct the issue.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Due to the air vent tube at the back right side of the drum possibly leaking, I removed and replaced the tube and found dry water streaks inside the old tube. While the unit was pulled out, I found where the cold water hose had been leaking water (photo). Since the water hoses were removed by the customer to make the unit accessible, I inspected the hoses and found the cold water hose gasket was badly pinched as if it were tightened too much when installed. I replaced the gasket and reattached the hoses and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed and no leaks found during testing. I reassembled the unit and put it back in its place and retested the valves and completed an automatic test and the unit continued to operate as designed with no water leaks. I advised the customer of my findings and provided a photo. Recommended the customer monitor the unit and to call in for service if it continued to leak. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."
