"Arrived on site for NOT CLEANING - DOES NOT THINK THE ARMS ARE MOVING. Customer explained they couldnt hear water coming into dishwasher when the started up a cycle. Placed in diagnostics and got F6E4. No other codes came on. Inspected float switch and found a piece of plastic lodged underneath the float. Once plastic piece was removed, the diagnostics cycle began calling for water and filling the dishwasher as designed. Ran through full diagnostics cycle and heated as designed at the end. Showed customer the piece of plastic and how to check the float switch in the case that this happens in the future. Cleared error code. Collected service fee. No leaks detected. Job completed."

The rc evaporator thermistor is receiving 2.5 vdc and homing out at 23.32 kohm(0 degrees). I found the rc temp sensor receiving 2.6 vdc and 6.6 kohms(45 degrees).

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not producing ice. Upon arrival I found FC=-1 RC=39. I ran diagnostics and confirmed function to all fans and damper. I accessed the ice maker motor and attempted to manually turn the wheel to engage the cycle. The ice maker had no function. I removed the IM and checked voltage to the harness. I found 125 Vac coming in to the ice maker. The customer stated that there was a lightning strike that knocked out other appliances. I disassembled the ice maker and found the motor burned or shorted most likely caused by recent storms or lightning strikes. The customer agreed so I replaced the ice maker. I was able to cycle the new ice maker and it filled as designed.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher not getting water. Upon arrival the customer stated they already had another tech come out and replace the drain pump. I found that as soon as you close the DW the drain pump will click on. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no error codes. I found all loads energizing, but the valve would only kick on for a second. Upon further inspection I found the float switch assembly physically broken. I found the switch needing to be replaced and quoted the customer on the part. I installed the float switch and then tested the unit. It was no longer erroneously draining. I found the unit now filling and begging a wash cycle. The unit is working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service.

"Arrived on site for a dryer not drying properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that on smaller cycles the unit seems to dry fine, but on larger bulky cycles it takes several dry cycles to fully dry her clothes. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F2E1 for stuck key. I then ran the dryer and tested airflow with the airflow tester. It was red for bad airflow on all dryers. I then used my thermocouple and tested heat fluctuations at the vent. With the vent on, the unit had almost no heat fluctuations. I checked voltage at the wall and terminal block. Both checked good. This indicates a lack of airflow at the wall. I advised the customer on my findings. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator tripping breaker. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit intermittently trips the breaker. Also advised that the freezer upper drawer jumps off track. I found the drawer wheels old and worn and when I looked the part number up, I found that it is discontinued. I advised the customer that when pushing the drawer back into place to push it back with the door and it will stay on track and to pull it from the middle of the drawer when pulling it out and not from the sides to keep it on track. My notes on the ticket report that the breaker trips when the door is opened. I tested the door switches and could not duplicate the issue as the breaker never tripped.

"Arrived on site to inspect freezer temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that after the control was replaced, the unit began to cool and eventually it stopped. I tested temps using my multimeter with thermal lead and found the temps at 39 degrees and the control setting on recommended temp. Removed the evap cover and found frost/ice built up on the evaporator. Placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the heating element and it is getting 120V and operating as designed. Tested the defrost thermistor and found it out of range. I removed and replaced the thermistor and retested and unit is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer turn the power off and allow it to defrost 24-36 hours before turning it back on to allow all frost/ice to melt from the evaporator. No water connected to the unit, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated how the water will dispense, but after a few seconds, it stops. He advised that he removed the left hinge cover to check the sensor and sometimes it would work. I inspected the hinge cover and found the mounts broken so the sensor is detecting that the cover is not present. I demonstrated to the customer how the sensor detects the cover missing by dispensing water and moving the cover and the water stops. Also, I found the ice maker stuck in harvest and would need to be replaced.
