Arrived on site for a washing machine making a loud grinding noise. Upon gaining access to the bottom of the unit I found significant oil and rust. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F0E2 for over suds F7E5 shifter fault. I then ran a test cycle and on the spin it made a very loud grinding noise. I found the gear case to be bad.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that is not cleaning properly. Found waterline kinked preventing proper amount of water from entering unit. Repositioned line and all is working properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=5 degrees. I inspected the harness at the bottom left hinge area and it was good/no broken wires. I tested the ice maker in diagnostics test #44 and it began to harvest then showed that the bin was fill when it was empty. I removed the ice maker housing and found a large block of ice built up in the front left corner of the tray due to a cube not dispensing into the bin and slowly developing larger over time. I cleared the ice and cleared the ice that had accumulated under the bin and retested the ice maker. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. I recommended that the customer remove the ice bin approximately once per week to clear out any ice accumulated under the bin and allow it to air dry before putting it back in the refrigerator."

I tested the unit in diagnostics and it operated as designed. I started a cycle and checked amp draw to the compressor and found 2.77amps. Unit made a good slab of ice and it dropped to the grid cutter. It appears that the unit is making ice but due to the unit not able to drain properly, when the ice drops to the tub, its melting in the water below. "(MM.) Arrived on site for dryer lint catcher not performing properly. After arrival I spoke with the customer and learned they issue was that the dryer was taking several times to dry clothing. I ran the unit and observed that it was getting hot and running as designed. I then placed a dryer vent tester in the unit and the results were Poor for all dryers I advised the customer that there was a blockage behind the wall preventing proper airflow. I also advised the customer that this would be their customer instruct due to no mechanical failure

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s making a rattling sound. Inspected unit in work area. Customer had a video of the noise and at the video showing the that cover near the condenser fan where it seemed that the condenser fan was hitting something. Removed that cover and could not replicate the issue. Ran the unit through diagnostics again and could not replicate the issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Drew SR# 7730640558. He had me go through numerous checks on the unit and advised that while he did not agree with just throwing parts at the machine, that we should at least attempt to replace the condenser fan and add a sound pad. Replaced the condenser fan and added a sound pad to a refrigerant line to avoid rattling noises against the back cover. Tested the unit again in the unit ran as designed. Call complete."

I placed the unit in diagnostics and check error codes and found none. Continued with testing and at the very beginning in the sensing phase, the unit began to make the noise. I tilted the unit back and retested and it appeared to be coming from the motor. Using the belt that was prescreened, I removed and replaced the belt and retested and noise stopped. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer has advised that ever since they bought this unit six weeks ago that the unit is building up frost in the evaporator section. They removed the frost buildup 3 to 4 weeks ago and it came back and then remove the ice build up again to be able to use their refrigerator. Inspected unit and work area. Test at the misters and thermistor showed that they passed. Checked the defrost sensor and found the defrost sensor had passed as well. Forced unit into a defrost in the defrost heater came on and began to defrost the unit. Spoke to PR and was advised to check the evaporator to make sure the evaporator thermistor was plugged in. Checked the thermistor and found it not fully engaged into the pin connector potentially causing the issue. Re-fitted connection and removed the clip on the thermistor. Used foil tape to tape the thermistor onto the evaporator. Tested unit and the unit is not working as designed. Call complete.

Upon inspection I found the connector for the hinge wire was corroded and at least one of the wires were broken. Arrived onsite for dryer making loud noise while in use. Upon inspection I found the unit making a chirping noise while spinning. I disassembled the unit and found a good amount of lint built up within the unit I was not able to determine where the noise was coming from but sounds like it might be coming from the idler pulley. I re assembled the unit and it is no longer making any abnormal noises.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher with a broken rack. Found upper rack adjuster broken and replaced it. All is working properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

I removed the drum and replaced the rear felt seal. I let it cure before testing. The unit is working as designed at this time. I advised the customer to give the unit a couple hours before using so the adhesive on the felt can cure. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not operating. Upon arrival found unit outlet had an open neutral. Spoke witch customer on needing an electrician to check outlet. Job Completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher tripping breaker. Upon further inspection, customer provided a video of their electrician replacing the GFCI outlet and breaker and when they turned the unit on, the breaker tripped. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. I continued with testing and after the unit dispensed water and the motor came on, I opened the unit door and pressed start to advance the test and as soon as I closed the door, the unit tripped the breaker. I contacted techline and spoke to Andrew and advised of my findings. Andrew advised that the door switch shouldnt be causing the the breaker to trip. Andrew had me test the unit with the inlet valve unplugged and the unit continued to trip. I unplugged the drain pump and the unit continued to trip. Unplugged the P4 harness connection to the control and opened and closed the door and the breaker did not trip. Andrew advised that a relay in the control could possibly the cause of the issue. He recommended unplugging the diverter and dispenser and test the unit. If the unit continues to fail, he recommended replacing the main control. Provided SR#7730916740. I tested the dispenser and drain pump,and it continued to trip. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit continues to trip breaker. I unplugged the motor from the control and retested and unit did not trip the breaker. I am ordering the sump/motor assembly and office to schedule return service. Arrived on site for Dryer is Not Tumbling or Spinning - Dryer. Found belt had nearly broken apart. Removed drum and found motor pulley that holds the belt in place against idler pulley was badly damaged. Removed belt and motor and installed new belt and motor. Tested dryer and it is spinning and heating as designed. Job completed.

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found basket is spinning eccentrically, attempted to remove washplate to examine hub and it is seized, tub and basket are also leaning to the right. A previous company had only replaced one suspension rod and washer has been spinning unevenly for some time. A new hub will be needed, agitator, Gearcase, and if that still hasnt corrected issue a new tub may be needed any new basket. This would take 2 technicians to replace.; ordrng 1 W10902814 (Agitator) and 1 W10528947 (Gearcase) and 1 W10528947 (Hub)"

Arrived on site to install new sump and motor to resolve wash motor not running error. Replaced sump and motor and ran unit through diagnostic cycle. Found unit pumping and flowing correctly. All is now working as designed. No water leaks found. Checked insulation and found all insulation is installed properly and there is other action we can take to reduce volume any. Arrived on site for AIG REFER LED LIGHTS not working in FREEZER/ flickering in REFER. Found driver module was faulty and not sending proper voltage to fridge MODULES. Removed FC module driver and installed new FC module driver and all lights began illuminating as designed. Job completed.
