"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not getting water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F6E2-fill valve electrical issue. Cleared the code and continued with testing and found the valve not getting energized to dispense water into the tub. Stopped testing and removed the outer door panel and verified 120V to the main control. Disconnected the harness molex from the control and valve and tested the harness and it was good. Reconnected the molex connector to the main control and turned the unit on and tested voltage to the valve and found no voltage. Gained access to the float switch and opened and closed it and found what little voltage coming to the valve was dropping to zero when the float switch was opened. I am ordering the main control, valve and switch and scheduled return service for 10/27/23. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W11613566 (Main control) and 1 WPW10195039 (Float switch) and 1 W11175771 (Valve)"

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is not cooling. I found out that the unit cools but it has times where everything in the freezer thaws out and refreezes and the ice in the door melts and clumps together. I found the FC at 5 degrees and the RC at 37 degrees when I arrived. The customer had a video from a couple of nights ago where the ice in the door bucket had melted and clumped together and it showed the stuff in the FC soft and not frozen properly. I ran thermistor test and they were good. I found the fans working as designed. I ran the defrost test and found it working. I called techline and spoke with Austin SR# 7737607657. Austin advised because of the erratic behavior to unplug the machine and power reset it and if this continues to happen to replace the main control. Ordering W11410826 harness, W11664342 main control, W11318270 thermistor and W11394920 evaporator cover. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator dispensing issue. I verified low flow. The customer replaced the filter a month ago. I tested flow at the supply line and found a lot of debris in the water. The flow is good. The filter is getting clogged fast due to the debris in the water supply. The customer is on a water softener and a whole house filter. I flushed a few gallons out of the supply line until the water has no more debris in it. I replaced the customers filter with one he provided. The dispenser now has good flow. The unit now operates as designed. No leaks observed during service.

I called wp and they had me test the temperature sensor through the wiring harness. When we pointed back the fan was not on. I moved the connector in the fan came on again. Took the connector off and resisted the pins and took pliers and squeezed the connector to fit better on the pins. Now the blower has not come back on. "Don site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Ran into through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (long fill) error code. Check the wall and turn the hot water valve turned off with the unit stuck on the warm wash setting. Ran the unit through an auto test and did confirm that no hot water was coming through. Turned on the valve at the wall and found the valve leaking water which is probably why the valve was turned off. Did advise the customer that their issue is that, because they dont have hot water being supplied to the unit, the unit is short cycling and is not completing the cycle. If I the customer to have their maintenance people come out to fix the valve and possibly the inlet hose. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a dryer thats tripping the breaker. I found the neutral screw on the terminal block was loose and this caused the wire to heat up and melt into L2 causing the issue. I cut off one inch of the neutral wire and installed a new eyelet. The customer is going to contact Lowes about the cord because L2 is messed up. I tested the dryer though after the repair and it is working as designed. I turned the circuit breaker off and advised the customer not to use the unit until that cord is replaced. I called Whirlpool Safety Team and spoke with Dominique SR# 7737574975 giving her my findings. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher with broken or missing parts on the front door panel. The customer stated the front door panel is fine but the door falls down because the springs are not working and there is a piece of plastic stuck on the element. I found the door springs defective causing the door issue and a plastic handle from a utensil had melted to the right side element support. I removed the plastics and the element is still in good condition. The door hinges will need to be replaced. Ordering W11573702 door hinge right and W11573703 door hinge left. "I dont say for a refrigerator that makes ice, but is slow production. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit takes 2 days to fill up the ice container and her old one seem to work a lot faster. She advised that she wasnt sure if that was an issue or not, but wanted to have it checked. I did check the freezer and found the freezer at 0?F. I did explain to her that in her owners manual, it does say that the unit can take up to three days to fill up the ice container. I ran the unit through harvest in dead. Find the unit working an operating as designed. I was advised that because the unit is immediately calling for power, this is normal. The customer also complained about the unit not starting a cycle. Found the agitator spinning when the unit was trying to spin the basket and it would not shift into the spin position. Gained access underneath and found the slider broken. Arrived onsite for a dryer that turns on but doesnt always heat and when it does the clothes are not getting dry. I tested the dryer and found no airflow but the dryer was heating. I found the temp at the lint screen only getting to 120 degrees with the dryer on high. I found the temp hardly changing. I removed the vent hose from the dryer and the temp at the lint screen shot up to 200 degrees. I showed the customer. I explained to the customer that the house vent is restricted and needs to be cleaned. Call complete.
