"Arrived on site to inspect oven temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that their food was burning on the top rack and the temps werent correct inside. They advised they placed a dial type thermometer inside and it never reached preheat temp so they calibrated the unit 30 degrees. I advised the customer that the manufacturer does not approve the dial type as it cannot keep up with temperature fluctuations and wont give accurate temps readings. I went into the settings and changed calibration back to 0 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F6E6. Cleared the code and following the tech sheet tested the continuity between P1 and J4 and P1-1 and P1-2 and got good continuity. I removed and replaced the main control and tested temps. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 416. Next five readings were 337, 391, 330, 379, 338 for an average temp of 355 degrees. I made recommendations to the customer of waiting approximately 15-20 mins after preheat to place food inside. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested airflow to the unit using my dryer vent test kit and the frost two tests with the vent hose attached, failed. I removed the vent tube at the back and retested and the unit passed. I disassembled the unit and tested the element, cutoff and thermostat and found the element and thermostat bad. I removed and replaced the element assembly and cleaned the unit (before & after photos) and reassembled the unit. Tested and the unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed part. Installed the new switch according to SP W10365444. Once switch was installed the unit was making a jack hammer noise. I found that the power switch was wired backwards. Flipped the wires in retested the unit and it is operating as designed.

"Arrived onsite for a dryer that is not heating. Upon inspection I found that the cutoff thermistor and the thermal fuse showing open. I replaced both and tested unit and found that nothing changed I tested the voltage and found that the was only 120vac at the wall. I went to check the breaker and found that they where not labeled, I then advised the customer to have to figure out with breaker the unit is on and have it reset for her. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for washing machine making a grinding noise. I inspected the unit and work area. I gained access to the gear case and found it leaking oil, I found the slide damaged, I replaced the slide and ran the unit in a high speed spin for several minuets. I gained access to the stator and found it scolding hot to the touch. The oil has penetrated the coils on the starptor and causing it to heat up. I found the unit not leveled properly. I leveled the unit and still found the basket leaning to one side. I am ordering a stator, and suspension and returning with the gear case for replacement. Continued with testing and the unit operated as designed up until the agitation/spin cycles and the unit began to make a loud rattling/groaning noise. I tilted the unit back and found gearcase oil on the rotor and all four panels (photo). Also found the rotor bolt missing (photo). I removed the rotor and found gearcase oil on the slider and clutch. I provided photos for the customer and advised the gearcase, slider & clutch would need to be replaced to complete the repair. Customer advised that another company had been out back in 2021 and replaced the same parts. Arrived onsite for washer making noise. On inspection found the belt had fallen off. Once the shield was removed found that the nut for the pulley was lose from the factory. The shield was damaged by the belt coming off. Replaced the clutch and the belt and ordering a new pulley shield W11409708. Arrived onsite for a washer making a grinding noise. I checked stored error codes and got an F1E2 motor control fault. I ran the auto diagnostics cycle and found the unit working properly all the way thru agitation but when it went into the spin cycle the control just shut off and the door unlocked. I ran manual diagnostics and when putting the unit in the spin cycle the motor would just hum and get hot. I tested the capacitor and it tested good at 45mf. I tested the motor windings and both showed 7.5 ohms and out of range. I suspect the metal grinding noise sound the customer described was from a failing triac on the control but I cannot duplicate the noise at this time. Need to replace the motor and the control. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. I found the fill line on the refrigerator not long enough to pull the refrigerator out from the cabinet and there was not a tee valve installed at the front of the refrigerator to shut the water off so the customer had to cut the water off to the home to remove the refrigerator. I found a lot of trash in the line and cleared it out. The customer went and picked up a tee valve at Lowes while I was clearing the lines and I installed the tee so the customer could turn the water on to the home. I replaced the filter per techlines recommendation and I replaced the smart valve due to all the debris that came out of the lines. I suspect the valve of not closing properly sometimes due to the debris. I pushed the unit back in the cabinet and when I went to set the legs on the left side the rear adjusted broke and the front adjuster stripped. The left support will need to be replaced. Customer will replace unit since we need to use force/destroy the agitator to get to the hub due to being rusted on. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F7 E5 (shifter fault) and F8 E1 (low/no water detected during fill) error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the cold water valve pulling in very little water and found the unit having a hard time shifting between agitation and spin. Found when the unit was draining that the unit was siphoning water back in due to a closed drain. Advise the customer to get away from the closed drain and quoted the customer for the cold water valve and actuator.Ordering the water valve and will return with the shifter.

Arrived on site to test unit for cooktop damage. Replaced cooktop test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that is not turning on. Found cord miswired causing breaker to trip. Rewired unit properly and all is working properly at this time.

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is banging and walking when spinning. Examined unit and found its sitting in a drain dip in the floor, on several pieces of wood. I was able to situate the unit with leveling feet to get it to stop shaking. Advised customer has to put solid surface under the unit and feet, wood is going to shift and unit is going to move back into the dip and go off level. Unit itself is working as designed after I leveled and tested it. Call complete."

Arrived on site for KitchenAid commercial style range oven door opening while in use and the cooktop burners going out when the door is opened. I inspected the unit and work area. I adjusted and replaced the front left burner head since it was hissing after a while of use. I checked the door and chassis alignment and found the location the latch it mounted to is slight bent inward allowing the latch to warp out of the way when the oven is heated up allowing the switch to disengage. I called techline and spoke to Kurt I advised him of my findings and because of the chassis damage the unit will need to be replaced.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dryer making loud vibrating noises when it's running, especially with heavier load. Customer showed me video of the noise. Removed front panel and found blower wheel was broken, causing vibration. Had to cut out / break out old blower wheel. Tested with new blower wheel and verified noise and vibration gone. Call complete."

Arrived on site for washer vibrating and banging . Replaced suspension. Ran calibration and diagnostics wash. All checked normal. Ran load of beach towels on quick wash and drain and spin .all checked normal. No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making abnormal sounds during agitation and spin. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had a video of the noise that the unit was making during those cycles. It sounded like the belt was slipping off the cam. Checked underneath the washer and did confirm that the cam was worn. Replaced the cam and tested the unit. The customer brought into oversized blankets for the testing. I did ask the customer if that was the load that was causing the issue. He advised that they do wash oversize blankets and towels in there and those specific cycles had been the ones that have caused the most issue. He advised that lighter loads the unit will not make any sound. I did advise the customer that whirlpool does not recommend washing oversized blankets, comforters, sleeping bags, or quilts in these washers. I did advise that the weight of the materials can put excess strain on his gear case and therefore make abnormal sounds. We ran the unit through a wash cycle and found the unit fill up near the top and agitate. The unit ran as designed with no abnormal sounds present. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont power up. Inspected unit and work area. Checked voltage to the unit and found proper polarity and voltage. Down the control would receive voltage but was not doing anything with it. Checked the drain pump and found 1.8 ohms of resistance Indicating a shorted drain pump that checked out the control. Also found the user interface broken and not sitting correctly on the consul. Checked with claims and was approved for all three parts. Replace the control, user interface, and drain pump and ran unit through diagnostics. Found every test pass with no leaks present during operation. Call complete."

Arrived on site for ice machine making loud squealing noise . Found drain pump is always running even when bin is empty. Found float switch is stuck in drain pump. Pump is over heating . Replaced pump . Re ran diagnostics. All checked normal. Pump is shutting off now . No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

I replaced it and tested. Also inspected the condenser fan blades and it looked like they where fine. Unit is operating as designed at this time. No leaks where observed during service.
