Arrived onsite for oven that is cooking un evenly and seems to be cycling at a lower temperature than designed. Upon inspection I found the ovens sensor showing 1100omhs which is within range for this model. I tested the cooktop and found almost perfect sized and color flames. I inspected the bake ignitor and orifice and it looked to be in correct position. I tested the ovens burner in bake and the flames were good shape and color. I noticed the ovens gasket was stiff or crusty and I was not able to form it back to shape this could cause hot air to escape. I replaced the gasket and ran temp checks for average temp in the oven. I found the ovens average temp was 351 when set to 350. The unit is working as designed at this time and no gas leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for door not closing all the way and unit giving f4e1 error. Called Techline and let Techline they said to replace hinges and inner door and glass door and light inside not coming could be bad bulb or switches and control board. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not functioning. Upon further inspection, I found the customer attempted to replace the lid switch and I found the switch in pieces on top of the unit. Using my jumper wire, I tested the unit and found that under a load, the switch harness was getting very warm/hot. In the spin cycle when the drain pump would come on, I found the pump having a difficult time pumping the water out of the tub and the switch harness continued to get hot. Due to the harness being shorted out and the connector being damaged and not making good contact with the lid switch itself, it is causing a breakdown and the capacitor is not being fully charged causing the switch to short out as well. I found the harness needs to be replaced as does the timer and drain pump; however,No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for washer making loud noise while spinning and leaking. Upon inspection I found the idler pulley system would thump and knock around while spin starts up. I found the transmission sounds very screechy or chirping like metal on metal. I filled the unit with water and tested agitation. The unit began leaking badly from the tub seal and saturating the drive system components. I advised the customer on the issue and that a total rebuild of the drive system. would be needed to restore the unit to proper function.

"Arrived on site and replaced control panel, control board, and door switch diagnosed on previous visit, dryer is now operating properly,

"Arrived on site for a dryer making a rattling noise. I started the unit and could hear a constant rattling noise. I took the top of the unit off and could see no loose wires or metal on metal. The felt around the tub was still in good shape as well. I then gained access to the front of the unit and isolated the motor by removing the belt and running the unit. The noise no longer occurred, indicating the motor is as designed. I then manually turned the tub and could hear the rattle again. I isolated the blower wheel and found noise. I then solidified the blower housing making sure it was not metal on metal rattling, but the noise continued. I found the wheels on the unit to be rattling and needing to be replaced. I replaced the wheels and then tested the unit again. The sound was lesser, but still rattled. I called techline and spoke with Joel and received SR #7731028861. Joel recommended the steps I already took, and if it still occurred then it would fall under a non mechanical cosmetic failure. Joel recommend customer to reach out to customer service. I advised the customer on exactly this and that it appears to be a sound related cosmetic issue. I also provided the customer with the file number and WP customer service number.

Arrived on site for washer not completing cycles and causing rinse and spin light to flash on random cycles per customer on arrival. Upon entering diagnostics I found F2e1 & f7e1 errors. When running manual and auto diagnostics cycles I found unit to be fully functioning as designed. After reset unit I ran two different quick washes but found during first test that unit allowed lid to lock but wasnt registering lid being locked. On second quick wash I found unit was locking and detecting lid being locked but it stopped detecting water lvl in unit. Reset unit again and found it functioning as designed.

Arrived on site and inspected dryer continuously running.Customer had to sync the kitchen timer with the dryer to know when to stop the unit.Confirmed the complaint and found the timer was defective and charred at the connector causing the malfunctions.Removed and replaced the timer and unit tested as designed.

Let tenant know that if the load getting put in is to big. That some leaking may occur as the water will splash over the tub to the outside. "Arrived on site for a washing machine filling the tub when not in use. Upon arrival the customer stated that the tub will slowly fill in stand by, and even spill out the front sometimes when opening the door. The unit does drain at the end of every cycle too. During our prior services we found the unit could not be pulled out all of the way due to the gas line being to short. We would have to remove the gas line in order to service the unit, but we cannot gain access to the line. Also, the gas line does not have a shut off valve to remove regardless. I called the landlord and advised her on my findings. I let her know we will need to have the gas s turned off for safety and the units removed prior to service. The unit would then have to be reinstalled by them. The customer agreed and said she will reach out to plumber regarding the gas valve. This also sounds like a valve issue.

Arrived on site to test unit for ice build up on evap. Found ice on whole lower FC evap. Cleared ice and found a piece of foam clogging drain line. Ran diagnostics and verified heater engaging. Thermistors tested good. Found unit is a rental and temps were turned up way too high as nobody ever really opens and closes doors. Advised to set temps way lower. Set temps as recommended. Connected recirculating pump and pump now not engaging. Checked voltage agin and was now receiving .8vac. Verified transformer was receiving proper voltage and sending proper voltage. Replaced control, recirculating pump and drain pump. Verified voltage was correct again, tested unit, unit started to work good then stopped. Voltage was now changing erratically. Arrived on site and inspected French door refrigerator cooling and leaking issues.Confirmed the complaint and found the unit was leaking from a massive ice buildup on the floor underneath the storage drawer.I removed the ice buildup and noticed the gasket has lot of sticky debris on it causing it to stick to the unit when opened.Advised customer to simply wipe the gasket to prevent and further cooling issues.JOB COMPLETE

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival found rc temps around 60 degrees. Upon further inspection found rc evap thermistor ranges at 5 ohms even from p5 1&2 connections and wasnt reading accurate temps in rc compartment. "(CS) Arrived on site for dryer not coming on. Upon arrival we found unit receiving 240v from outlet. Upon further inspection I found the heater ohming at 10 ohms even and not grounded. Both the high limiter and cutoff were functioning, door switch was working. Found the thermal fuse had blown. I was able to replace thermal fuse then use a pressure test kit and found unit had great air flow when vent hose wasnt connected but once hose was reinstalled found pressure were no longer within good ranges indicating a clog within wall of home. At this time unit will also need a dvc in order to complete repairs and insure thermal fuse doesnt break again. Call complete"

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that still not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Checked pressures on the unit and found the unit had lost all of its refrigerant. Put nitrogen into the system and checked for air leaks at the can presser and condenser. Could not find a leak on either of those. Did find the unit leaking nitrogen still very slowly. Gained access to the fresh food and freezer evaporator?s and used bubbles to try to find the leak. Still could not find the leak. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7730805740.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher disposal making loud noise. Upon arrival found unit motor for disposal was likely burnt out heavy grinding sound. Customer informed me they got it from Home Depot and it was under warranty. Spoke with customer on getting a new one from them as we did not carry any.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaving soap at the bottom of the dishwasher and has a rack that will move in and out properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that her lower rack we all had popped off and they had popped it back on but it?s not rolling properly and that most of the time the unit does wash dishes but sometimes the soap is left at the bottom of the dishwasher. Confirmed customers complain about the wheel and found it not properly placed. Fix the wheel and tested the wheel rack assembly. Lower rack assembly is good. Ran unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer as devised they don?t always run hot water at the sink prior to use and do use large dishes in the dishwasher on the lower rack. Went over user care guide and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not spinning out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is spinning out clothes but that the agitator doesn?t seem to be moving the clothes around very much wen in agitation. She showed me a video of what she was talking about and also complained of a slight knocking sound on the unit was agitating back-and-forth. Placed a unit in service diagnostics and found an F7 E9 (locked rotor) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Ran the unit through manual spin and agitation cycles in the unit ran as designed. I did advise the customer that the knocking sound will come when she?s using heavier loads due to the weight that?s put on the agitator when it?s trying to shift directions. I also did advise the customer that the unit has several agitation speeds and that the one she was showing me was a light agitation. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for dryer collecting lint on back of screen in lint chute. Upon arrival I ran a heat test with vent off and found pressures and temps within specs on pressure test kit and unit had a 140 degrees average temp. Upon further testing with the vent hose reattached, I then found pressures in dryer were to high causing over heating in dryer as well as extremely poor airflow. Informed customer at this time units collecting more lint in areas in shouldnt due to the restriction within vent of home itself. Instructed customer that they would need a dvc (dryer vent cleaning) done in order to insure proper airflow and escape for the lint. I then called whirlpool techline and spoke with (Chris Sr#7731028100) who instructed me that at this time unit is functioning but dvc would need to be done ASAP in order to ensure proper ventilation. "(CS) Arrived on site for microwave sparking. Upon arrival customer stated that the sparking was coming from above and behind main control. Upon further disassembly I found every component behind main control including but not limited to all high voltage equipment, noise filter & fuses, & as well as other components were heavily covered in a think layer of grease. This had led to some important high voltage wires burning through their insulation and melted around diode and other components.

Upon further inspection found heating element was slightly out of ohm range (15.1 ohms) but other then that main control and high limit thermostat were both allowing main control to send 120 volts to heater as designed. I also found wash motor had become weak not allowing water to flow properly to upper rack spray arms. After getting autho I replaced the wash motor and heating element. Reassembled and tested unit and found no leaks. Unit is no functioning as designed call complete.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that has a gasket that?s falling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that her gasket keeps getting caught on the upper dish rack whenever she slides it out causing this issue and she?s having to keep pushing it back in in order to get it to seal. Confirmed customers complaint and replaced door gasket. Tested unit and the unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit microwave not heating properly. Upon further inspection, customer advised that they have to heat food several times before it will heat properly and they havent had to do that in recent years with other microwaves. I found the unit no connected to WiFi. Placed unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found none. I noticed that the tone on the console wasnt working. I tested the components and they are all operating as designed. I tested the microwave with a cup of water and it heated properly. When I went to test again, the console would not respond. I cycled power at the breaker and retested and the unit operated as designed. Assisted customer connecting to WiFi. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for customer complaint of unit not turning on, found power supply plug was loose behind the unit, I unplugged and plugged back in to make sure the connection was secure, unit tested good

"Onsite for fridge water dispenser not working and items freezing on top shelf. Water dispenser working while onsite. C/S dispenser works intermittently. In diagnostics tested damper door, found damper was loud and not closing all the way allowing cold air to constantly flow from freezer. This also will freeze water dispenser lines, the lines will thaw during defrost making the dispenser work again for a short time. Replaced RC damper control, tested damper, unit is now functioning as designed. Also adjusted FC temp up by 2 degrees. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for oven base being damaged. Upon arrival found unit was in warranty and base had been bowed on left side of interior. Replaced bottom and unit is now operating as designed. Job Completed.

"Arrived on site to replace gearcase, slider, and wash basket, after replacing, I ran dlms calibration, and tested functioning of unit, everything tested good, no leaks."

Arrived on site and found drawer not installed properly. Repaired drawer to fit properly. Unit is now operating as designed.

"Arrived on site to follow up on noisy dryer. Disassembled unit and used sound deadening pads to insulate all contact points between inner components and the cabinet / floor plate. Used seal kit to insulate blower housing. Checked all rollers and pins and found nothing else loose. Unit is as quiet as we can get it. Ran unit and you can still hear a small amount of rumble from the drum / cabinet when empty. There does not appear to be any other repairs to perform to reduce any other noise. Unit just has slight cabinet rattle, but is fully insulated.
