I inspected the unit and found door gasket for freezer sagging and not sealing properly. I also found refrigerator not properly leveled, I leveled unit and it should help to keep doors closed tighter. I advised customer to replace left door gasket and freezer door gasket. I used my heat gun to reform gasket on freezer temporarily but will still need to be replaced. No water leaks observed during service. I then found dis module was sending 10dcv to both bake and broil igniters. Found only broil would ignite flame. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that was not making ice nor cooling. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit was just not cooling at all. I checked temps and found the RC at 56?F and the FC at 22?F. Upon further inspection I found the evap covered in a thick layer of ice. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the damper was working as designed. I found the evap fan humming but getting stuck on the ice. I then gained access to the compressor and control. I checked amperage at the compressor and found it good. I then ohmd out the thermistors and found the RC thermistor read 3.8k, the FC read 4.13k, and the defrost thermistor read 18.2k. The FC thermistor is very far off indicating a bad thermistor. In order to repair the unit we will need to replace the evap harness. Due to the fan running for a while against the ice I am ordering that to replace too. Ordering both parts and the office will need to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11581973 (Evap Harness) and 1 W11559968 (Evap Fan)"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not agitating. Upon further inspection, I found the agitator removed from the unit and I found the gearcase shaft badly worn and rusted. Attempted to place the agitator back on the shaft, but the due to the amount f rust, the bolt would not secure to the gearcase shaft. I tested the it without the agitator and found it operating as designed. I tilted the unit back and found a large amount of gearcase oil on the pulley shield, belt and cam (photo). Also found the drive hub seized to the gearcase due to the amount of rust.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven smoking. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged and breaker turned off. Turned breaker on and removed back panels and inspected the harness. I did not find any shorted wires in the harness. Plugged unit in and checked voltage at the outlet and terminal block and I got 243V. I pulled the bake element cover down and found the element good and the broil element is good also. Tested on bake at 350 degrees and tested voltage to the elements at the control and got the same voltage reading as the outlet and block. Ohmed the bake element from the control and got 23ohms. Retested the unit in Bake mode and monitored temps and unit is operating as designed. I could not duplicate the issue the customer described as a glow from the oven and smoke coming out from the vents. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Dominique and advised of my findings. Documented on Manufacturer Referral #7733698245. Job completed."

Traced voltage and and physical damaged to power cord. Power cord appeared like it was ran over and wires showing. Spoke with customer on replacing power cord wire harness assembly or repairing power cored by cutting short out.. Removed power cord and repaired. Reinstalled cord and powered unit on. Measured voltage to control and found 120 volts. Found all components operating as designed. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the noise is a very loud vibration noise and when they push on the left RC door itll stop briefly. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the compressor in test #4 and when the compressor came on it began to make the noise described by the customer. I pulled the unit from the wall approximately 1-2 inches and the noise stopped. I inspected the compressor area and did not find anything out of the ordinary and could not duplicate the noise. I placed the unit back in its space and left it pulled away from the wall approximately 5-6 inches. I found that when the unit is pushed all the way back, the water hose from the wall to the unit was pushing up against the back cover and could possibly be the cause of the noise as the cover was resting against the refrigerant lines. I leveled the unit and retested the compressor and the unit is operating as designed. I could not duplicate the noise any further. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Spoke with techline this is normal, there is a channel on ice tray and water has to flow through to cross over to each ice cube in order to fill entire tray. Arrived on site to test unit for water leaking. Found drain was frozen over causing defrost water to spill out front of unit. Customer stated she has always had water accumulate on bottom of FC but would wipe it dry and thought nothing of it and gradually got worse. Thawed drain and tested up with water and still not draining. When inspecting drain tube noticed it was wet. Found drain fitting must be ripped in cabinet because it is leaking around fitting. But once drain tube is removed it drains properly but as soon as drain tube is placed into fitting it want drain. Drain tube is not clogged or restricted. Spoke with tech line after struggling to remove fitting with no success and was told drain fitting is not replaceable despite being able to order part. Advised unit must be deemed irreparable. Advised customer of issue and she stated she would be calling whirlpool as its been an ongoing issue.

"Arrived on site for arrange that is not heating the right front burner unless other burners are used. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers issue and found that if any of the other elements were on at the same time as the right front burner, the right front burner would work. However, if the right front burner was just activated by itself, it would not heat. Removed the back cover and found one of the connectors for the right front infinite switch was not connected. Re-seated the wiring on the Infinite switch and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for AIG Washer is not dispensing fabric softener or bleach still, and water is now coming back up into the drawer. Upon arrival found standing water in fabric softener dispenser, ran an auto test and water was no longer in fabric softener, but now bleach dispenser has standing water. Ran another auto test and now neither dispenser has water. After several tests, both dispensers alternated holding water. Called techline to discuss. Explained to tech that water valve and both dispensers were replaced on last visit. Tech determined that there is nothing else that can be done with this happening intermittently and nothing failing. Tech gave SR# 7733701466. I then ran a normal cycle with clothes, bleach, and fabric softener. Upon completion found that both dispensers had indeed dispensed and stayed free of water. Unit operated as designed. Customer will monitor the unit. No leaks present at this time. Job complete"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is telling the customer that its not feeling fast enough. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and ran the unit through diagnostics. Found no stored error messages. Tested the valves on all three settings and found all valves working properly and filling the unit. I ran the unit through the pressure sensor test and the unit ran as designed. When the unit went to drain, I did not hear the unit draining at all. Removed the drain hose from the wall and found the drain hose was going 3 1/2 feet into the PVC pipe at the back wall. After the unit drained, I found the unit siphoning water back into the unit. Did explain to the customer that that would cause problems with the unit being able to finish cycles. If I the customer to shorten their drain hose and ran through several other tests. The customer did state that the unit does not do this on the auto sensing cycles but only on that deep fill heavy duty cycles. Advise the customer to Short and the drain hose in the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washer that is bouncing around during cycles. The customer advised that is not necessarily the complaint but that the washer doesnt seem to wash clothes very well. I did run through diagnostics and found an F0 E2 (oversuds) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Tested manual agitation and spin and the unit ran as designed. The customer said that the unit does wash her clothes but the clothes are not clean. I did explain to the customer that if all the basic components are running, the issue would have to be either with the load, preparation for the load, or the soap that she is using. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. In test mode, the unit was to spin t the very beginning and the drum failed to spin properly. I stopped testing and removed the back panel and found the rotor bolt was loose. I tightened the bolt and retested and when the unit began to spin, it began to make a loud grinding noise. Stopped testing and removed the rotor and found the rotor teeth were badly stripped causing the rotor to slip on the bearing.
