I advised the customer to mentor the unit for any noises it makes while not in use, and to inspect the dispenser drawer if the noise comes back for running water. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with frost building up on ice maker, water dispenser not working and missing shelving. Upon further inspection, I opened the FC door and found ice built up on the side of the ice maker housing and inside the FC section. When I closed the FC door I found the gasket with a gap and not sealing properly. I attempted to correct the gasket by heating it with my heat gun and reshaping it. Doing such failed and I found that the when the unit was filled with insulation, the center mullion was pushed out away from the top of the cabinet causing the door to not be able to close all the way. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s freezing items in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Found the refrigerator section sitting at 35.7?F. The customer advised that the unit was hovering in the 30? area. She also advised that while the unit was freezing items, the icemaker was not working. Check the freezer section and found the freezer section sitting at 18?F. Did it temperature reading on the thermistors from the main control and found the refrigerator section reading 5.48 K ohms while my temperature probe read 39?F. I took a freezer there Mr. check and found the unit reading 13.14 k ohms in the freezer. I checked an amp draw on the compressor and found the compressor reading 1.17 A. Call Techline and spoke to Robert/Andy SR# 7731549899. He advised that the issue was with the thermistor based on the reading of the thermistor showing the unit at 47-48?F when the refrigerator was at 39?F. He did advise that there?s a known issue with freezing items in the refrigerator section on this unit. He did advise that engineering is updating software version on newer controls but that the software has not been fully updated and developed. He advised to replace the thermistor for now but if the issue comes back, we would need to wait for the main control to be released. Replaced the thermistor and tested the unit. The unit began to cool. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that?s flashing four times than three times. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complain and found an F4 E3 (wash motor not running) error code. Found the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Tested the unit and a normal dishwasher cycle two other times and the unit filled and started washing as designed. We may have to adjust the holes or pins in the kit to fit this door. I finally got the unit to stop and removed the outer door panel. Following the tech sheet for the error code, I disconnected the control panel and closed the unit door. I found the FC=-1 RC= 37 I ran diagnostics and all functions passed. I ran test 3 and 4 but could not recreate any abnormal noises. I explained my findings to the customer. I leveled the unit. The customer had concerns with the ice maker turning off on its own after installation. I turned the IM on and it harvested a batch. I also heard the IM fill. I asked the customer to monitor this to make sure it doesnt turn its self off. No leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived on site for LEAKED OUT ALL THE WATER ON THE WASH AND RINSE. NOT COMING FROM HOSES. CAME FROM UNDERNEATH. Found drain pump had two pennies and a dime lodged inside that cracked the drain pump housing causing the leak they experienced. Removed drain pump and installed new drain pump. Ran through diagnostics several times to ensure there were no leaks. No leaks detected. Ran through a heavy wash with hot water to clear out any additional debris between basket and pump. Didnt see any objects in basket other than hair.

I tested the ice dispenser and found the unit trying to dispense ice. I ran the unit through a ice maker fill test and it filled with water. I power cycled the unit and retested it. "Arrived on site for unit humming. Upon arrival the unit was unplugged and locked. Upon plugging the unit in the drain pump began to hum loudly. I entered diagnostics and began to cycle through error codes finding f9e1 drain pump, F1e2 motor drive over voltage, F8e6 water hazard, F3e3 inlet water temperature. When I finished checking error codes I tried to activate the lid lock and the unit would not unlock. While attempting to unlock the unit the f9e1 error code returned and the unit was then stuck trying to cancel a cycle. Upon attempting to check voltage at the outlet with my multimeter the outlet blew out. I advised the customer to seek an electrician before continuing with the repair. The unit will need a new drain pump and I will also order a new control to be install on return visit just in case. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he had another technician come out and advise that it was an issue with the hot water coming to the unit. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected) error code. Test of the unit in manual cold and hot water valve I called and found the hot water not being drawn into the unit. Checked the water valve at the wall and found that it had been turned off. As soon as I turned it on, found water leaking from the water valve on the handle. I did advise the customer that their issue is with the unit not being able to fill with hot water and them using a cool washer cycle that will pull in hot water. The customer wanted us to test it in a normal cycle with his clothes. Tested the unit on a normal wash cycle with tap cold water. The unit began to run as designed. I did advise the customer that he could potentially try to use it on top call but could not verify whether it would still try to pull in hot water at various points. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Kathy SR# 7731588467. She advised that the plumbing needed to be fixed prior to any further repairs made to the unit. She advised the hot water valve can always be energized depending on the wash temperature setting and incoming water temperature. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for unit that?s not draining properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the issue that he saw was with the wiring being cut. He advised that he put electrical tape over the wire connectors for the time being to allow his unit to work properly but he just wanted to have the wires reconnected and fixed properly. Confirmed the customers complaint and used wire connectors to properly secure the wires together. Tested the unit several times and now the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose microwave with a lot of moisture, upon arrival the customer explained that the issue is that there is mold caused by the vent not being sealed above the microwave, the customer also explained that the builder is replacing the cabinet due to the mold cause of the improper installation and replacing the microwave due to mold in the microwave. I found no issues with the vent or the operation of the microwave only that the vent above the microwave was not sealed properly. Job complete."

I cleaned the area of any build up and advised the customer to switch to a liquid detergent so that the unit will completely break it down during a wash cycle. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the new gasket and used my silicone to keep it in place. Upon further inspection I found the upper basket bowed on the left hand side. I found this to be the reason it was catching the gasket when pulled out. I adjusted the basket and then tested the unit. It was now opening and closing as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the new door and then reshaped the gasket with my heat gun. I advised the customer to wait a minimum of four hours to open the freezer door in order for the gasket to properly set. Call complete.

Arrived on job to replace bellow customer provided part.After replacement test operation. No leaks detected at time of service.

"Arrived on site for washer making a loud noise during the spin cycle. Upon arrival I confirmed the complaint and began inspecting the unit. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found oil thrown all over the bottom of the unit indicating a gear box failure. Upon disassembly I could not separate the gearbox from the basket due to the m being rusted together. An entire new basket assembly, outer tub, and 2 technicians will be needed to fully complete the repair. ; ordrng 1 W11161960 (Agitator) and 1 W10811957 (Basket) and 1 W11219115 (Outer tub) and 1 WPW10215093 (Drain pump filter) and 1 WP90767 (Drain filter screw) and 1 1 (2 man repair)"

Arrived n site for washer having fabric softener left in dispenser. Inspected unit and work area. Performed diagnostics mode and tested operation. Found water pressure good. Removed dispenser and ran water cycled and found water not reaching fabric softener. Disassembled dispenser drawer and found dispenser drawer assembly will need to be replaced. Found no ETA available on part. Office to schedule return when ETA is available. ; O-emld tckt

"Onsite for ice build up in FC. Found slight gap in between liner and cabinet on left side of FC causing slight air leak, condensation build up, and then freezing. Sealed FC with adhesive. Advised customer to leave door shut for the rest of the day to let adhesive set. Call complete."

Arrived back on site to install the pump to hose the previous tech identified as the issue causing the leaks. R&R and tested the unit and unit tested as designed without any leaks. Job complete

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s making a noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit makes the sound when unit is in spin. Tested the spin function and did not find any abnormal sounds. Ran the unit through a drain and spin with other clothes in it and found the noise coming from the drain pump. Removed the drain pump and found a hanger nail inside the drain pump causing the sound. Tested the unit again and the unit began working as designed. Found all checked good. He then advised that the issue would either have to be with the amount of detergent being used or the loading issue with the client.

Weather on site for a trash compactor that won?t start. Inspected unit and work area. Tested unit and found the start button wouldn?t push all the way in to engage the switch. Will need to order start switch assembly. Ordering part and will return.; ordrng 1 WP9871824 (switch-off)

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and found the refrigerator sitting at 50?F in the freezer section sitting at 20?F. Found evidence of a defrost issue in the refrigerator section. Took an amp draw off the compressor and found the compressor running at really high amperage but the compressor not hot. Spoke to PR and was advised that it seem to be like there was a leak add the fresh fruit evaporator due to the frost issue. Onsite for washer not draining. Found previous repair to drain pump wires came loose causing unit to not drain. Replaced lower harness. Drained water in tub and ran a diagnostics cycle. Unit now functioning as designed. Call complete.
