"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I found some cubes in the ice bin and the freezer temp set at 4 on the door. Inspected the harness at the bottom left door hinge and it was good. Placed unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker and it harvested as designed. Tested the fill tube and it failed. I checked the fill tube at the bottom left door hinge and found the tube frozen. Once I took the unit out of diagnostics, I set the temp settings to 2 and recommended that the customer allow the tube to defrost over the next few days and if they continue to have issues to schedule service at which time a new door will need to be ordered. I advised the customer that placing the FC settings above 3 will cause the tube to freeze. While inspecting the unit with the FC door open, the fill tube had already began to defrost. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Tested resistance at the valve harness and it was out of range. Made sure customer understood to load washer in loose heaps around basket to ensure the washer does not get an unevenly distributed load which will cause the washer to cancel the wash cycle completely. Explained having a load with only one or two items even a small load can cause the wash to cancel."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they had a parts and labor concession given by whirlpool. Checked entitlement and found the parts authorization (KZ55S00DPL1). Found unit running but no cool. Hooked up my gauges to the unit and found the unit at 50 psi on the high side and -20 on the low side. When the unit was disconnected and idle, found the unit sitting at zero psi on both sections. Charged the unit with a little bit of refrigerant and found a leak at the lower side port. Replaced the dye dryer and coupler and ran the unit under a vacuum. The unit held pressures for 15 minutes. Charged the unit and found the unit running at 175 psi on the high side and five psi on the low side while cooling the refrigerator. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."
