"Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling properly. Upon arrival the customer stated they have had some things freezing in the lower part of the RC. I checked temps and found the FC at 1?F and the RC at 44?F (after being opened a little bit). Upon further inspection I found the RC evap cover covered in frost/ice. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components working. I then gained access to the control and ohmd out all thermistors. The RC read 4.2k, the FC read 15.89k, and the RC evap thermistor at 2.28k. Both RC and FC readings are accurate. The RC evaporator thermistor however is way out of range, indicating a faulty RC evap thermistor. In order to repair the unit we would need to replace the evap thermistor. Due to the amount of ice build up I advised the customer on leaving the unit off for at least 48 hours before service and that we would have to reschedule. Office to reschedule."

We ran the fridge for 20 minuets and gained access to the evaporator to check frost pattern and found a partial frost pattern pattern. We then performed a amp draw test as compressor and found 1.18 amps (out of range). We pierced the dryer and found equalized pressures at 30 psi. I called and spoke to PR. He stated to replace the compressor, uv dryer, and access valve. We replaced all three. I put a measured charge of 4.4 oz into the system. I found pressures holding at 0 low and 145 high. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that still having issues cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Found idol pressures at -3 psi on both sides. Ran the unit and found pressures going to -25 psi on the low side and 65 psi on the high side. Added nitrogen to the unit up to 126 psi on both sides and could not detect a leak.I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Brian SR# 7731376151. He had me make several checks with pressures and advised ultimately that the unit had to have a leak somewhere in the system that was not accessible due to no die around any of the normal components.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not drying dishes properly. Upon inspection put unit in diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Ran auto test and all components are functioning properly. Arrived on site for a dishwasher that?s not drying dishes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit sometimes does dry dishes but that it?s not all the time. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit to an auto test and the unit ran as designed and heated at the end of the cycle. The customer did advise that it may be due to overloading because she does overload her dishwasher quite frequently. Unit is working as designed.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s still having issues keeping temperature in the refrigerator section. Checked temperatures and found the refrigerator section sitting at 57?F. Found the freezer side sitting at 1.5?F. Disassembled unit and found a defrost issue on the refrigerator evaporator. I advise the customer that they would need a new evaporator cover but that there may be further issues with the user interface or the drip pan.

The customer advised that the unit has been working on lighter loads but for some reason it won?t work if they?re doing heavy loads. Placed the unit back into service diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Spoke to CS due to the unit working on lighter loads. He advised the issue would most likely be with the control or shifter and not registering the unit spinning. He advised the harness would not be likely to be at fault due to the unit working intermittently and the fact that if the harness was bad, it just wouldn?t work. Replaced both and tested the unit. Found the unit working properly with a heavy load. Advise the customer to run the unit several times this weekend to ensure that the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for unit not heating up. Tested the unit. Glow igniter was igniting correctly and can head the valve open up to release gas but not gas expelled from the valve. Checked the gas valve from the wall and noticed that no gas was coming out from the wall side. Let customer know that a plumber will need be called out to fix the issue. No other issues at this time. Turn the unit onto a time dry cycle on high heat and found the unit running as designed. Used to vent test kit to check airflow and found poor airflow coming out of the dryer unhooked the vent hose and found the airflow good. I did advise the customer that her issue is with ventilation going outside. Found her vent cover partially blocking the airflow going outside most likely causing the issue and advise the customer to fix the ventilation. Call complete.

I advised the customer to let us know if the unit has any weird performance issues while we wait for the door. Arrived on site for a dryer that has no heat. Inspected unit and work area. Tested voltage going to the unit and found 120 V going from L1 to neutral but 10 V going from L2 to neutral. Checked voltage between L1 and L2 and found 108 V. Check voltage at the wall and found the same voltage. Advise the customer that they will need an electrician to fix their electrical supply. Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that has shelves condensating when door is opened. Found no failures to unit at this time and advised customer that humidity in the air when contacting cold surfaces will condensate and is normal. No leaks were found at time of service and no further repairs needed.

"Onsite for dryer not heating. In diagnostics, found F4E3 restricted air flow, F2E1 stuck key, F3E6 moisture sensor open, F4E4 line 2 voltage error. Wall outlet to terminal block getting 240Vac. Checked operation of moisture sensor from connector at sensor and from connector to control by putting damp cloth on sensors, found resistance. Unit had a decent amount of lint build up inside,cleaned it out. Informed customer to get a vent duct cleaning performed. Also, found heating element open and cut off open. Arrived on site for possible sealed system repair. We gained access to the evaporator and found no traces of Uv dye. We gained access to the compressor. We found dye running from a factory joint down to the compressor. I evacuated the system and used nitrogen and soapy water to confirm the leak. It is bubbling at the joint. See ss quick pics. I brazed the joint and retested with nitrogen again. I found no more bubbles. I pulled a vacuum and put a measured charge of 7.50 oz of refrigerant into the system. I let it run for 20. I jets while we reinstalled and reassembled the unit. There is a full frost pattern on the evaporator already. Pressures are holding at 0 low and 145 high. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for washer making grinding noise while in use. We gained access to the bottom of unit and found belt damaged, cam teeth damaged as well, larger pulley loose and gearcase leaking oil. We would need gearcase, belt and cam to fix unit.

Arrived on site for dryer taking multiple attempts to dry. Upon arrival co firmed proper power supply. Also found dryer running and heating. After further inspection I found all heating hardware within tech sheet specs except the thermal fix. I replaced thermal fix then I removed vent hose and used vent test kit. After passing results I reconnected hose and reran unit. Found dryer air flow restriction quickly appeared indicating clog within venting of home. Instructed customer on proper steps need3d for removing clog.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with buzzing noise. Upon arrival I confirmed a very loud vibrating noise coming from the rear panel near the compressor/condenser fan area. I accessed the condenser fan and found the drain pan vibrating against the bottom of the unit. I found the rear panel dented on that side. I used some folded insulted tape and wedged it under the pan. The noise is no longer present. I advised the customer of my findings and solution. The unit is otherwise working as designed. "Arrived on site for AIG DW not powering on. Found cancel drain, high temp heated dry, and sani rinse buttons not working when pressed. With this I cant place the dishwasher in diagnostics to check for errors. Customer stated the dishwasher doesnt seem to be heating like it use to. Went to remove torque screws and the two long torque screws that hold in the latch were stripped. Found upper and lower spray arm ports clogged with calcium build up preventing the spray arms from spinning when dishwasher runs. I was able to start the dishwasher in a normal cycle but couldnt select cancel drain button so customer knows the dishwasher will need to complete a full cycle in order to drain. Ordering upper and lower spray arms, console, and heater. All parts will need authorization from warranty company before replacement. Will return with latch and control. Arrived on site for NOT MAKING ICE AT ALL. STILL DISPENSING WATER. NO ISSUES WITH COOLING OR FREEZING. Found ice maker bin was halfway full of ice. Customer stated a couple days ago the ice maker began producing ice again. Customer confirmed the filter was NOT recently replaced. Instead filter was replaced a couple months ago. Found fridge temp was set to 35 instead of recommend temp of 37. Raised fridge temp to 37 to prevent water fill tube from freezing over and preventing water from filling ice mold when water is called into ice mold. No frost detected inside ice maker housing. Freezer and fridge were cooling as designed. Water dispenser had a nice flow. No leaks detected. Job completed.

Arrived on site and inspected unit not producing full slabs of ice. Removed and replaced it and discovered the installers attached a garden hose as a way to drain the unit. Customer was thawing out on of the fill tubes inside and will test the unit tomorrow

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for not draining, upon inspection found the unit filled with water from the sink. Checked drain tube and found a direct downward angle to disposal causing backup. Added drain hose and created the needed shape to prevent further issues. Complete"

Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking. Inspected unit and work area. Customer had unit pulled out at time of service and had leak identified at heater. Found heater assembly will need to be replaced. Found no eta available on part. Office to schedule appointment when ETA is available. ; ordrng 1 W11537778 (HEATER)

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not starting. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E9. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed until it was to agitate and spin and the unit failed to function properly. I tilted the unit back and found gearcase oil on the rotor, drain pump, clutch, and slider.Unit left unplugged for safety. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on call for complaint of noise in refrigerator section. Ran diagnostics and in test 3 the damper door is noisy. Will need damper to complete. ; ordrng 1 WPW10479155 (Damper control)

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Removed broken strike and installed new strike. Also, broken piece of strike from original strike was still lodged inside the lid latch. Used needle nose pliers to remove broken piece. Placed in diagnostics and tested lid latch with new strike. Latch and strike working as designed. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for unit not dispensing water or ice for a 3rd time. Customer said that after the last visit that the unit was making ice and dispensing water for a day then It all stopped working again the next day. Opened up the doors to the unit and waited about 15min. The unit started to dispense water once again and cleared ice buildup at the ice maker once again. Called Techline. Let them know of the findings. Said to order seals to put in the refrigerator evaporator cover to help with some cold air or outside air leaking in the reservoir area. "Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that is not drying dishes. Ran unit through a diagnostic cycle to verify proper operation. Found no error codes present. Unit completed diag cycle with no issues. I found the rinse aid dispenser was not being used. I advised the customer to make sure they use rinse aid, utilize the high temp options, and also run the hot water first. This is a plastic tub unit and does not retain much heat, and is very reliant on the rinse aid. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed ice door dispenser parts. Upon arrival I found I couldnt complete repairs because dispenser kit was not complete with metal mounting arm. Plastic mounts in dispenser are broken and repairs cant be complete unless new metal bracket is installed.; ordrng 1 8201756 (Ice door kit plus mount)

Arrived onsite to replace previously diagnosed parts. Replaced faulty sump and motor. Tested unit and no leaks present at this time. Unit is functioning properly. Job complete
