Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is still leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer sent me videos of what was going on. The unit seem to be leaking from inside the door. Removed the outer door and found water residue around the dispenser area. Ran the unit for 40 minutes without being able to replicate the drip. I did find a few water triplets coming from the float switch area. Removed the float switch and found that the nut that holds in the gasket on the bottom of the tub loose causing the drip. Tightened the nut and re-engaged the float switch. Found no other leaks present after tightening the nut. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7731432344. He advised that based on the information that he would also replace the detergent dispenser prior to any other repairs. ordrng 1 W10861000 (detergent dispenser)

"Arrived on site for a dryer that?s giving an error message after running cycles intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is giving her an error code with an a. Tested the unit and put the unit in diagnostics. Found an F4 E3 (airflow restriction) error code, also known as AF to the customer. Check the vent hose and found the vet who is not attached to the wall and venting onto the floor causing the issue. Reattached the vent hose and tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived back on site to install previously ordered ice maker and ice container. Removed and replaced both and unit tested as designed. Job completed.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator intermittently shutting off. Upon arrival I found no error codes and gained access to the control panel in the back. I found proper voltage and polarity at the wall as well as proper voltage reaching the unit. Upon testing P2-2 to P2-6 I found it only pulling 2.5 VDC instead of 12.7VDC indicating a failure within the power control. I replaced the power control and once again tested the unit. I found it now pushing proper voltages to the rest of the unit. Call complete."

Arrived on site for brains not functioning properly. Upon arrival customer stated that the front left knob and knobs skirt were continuously popping off unit upon further inspection I found that due to he exposure over the past couple years the knob is not gripping on the clip properly which holds it to the stem of the valve itself. The customer advised that since they called in back on July 14, the unit has only not heated one time. He advised that when it does not heat, he can open and close the door and flip off his breaker for a full minute and it will still not heat after work. He said that usually it?ll take a certain amount of time before the unit begins to work properly. Tested the unit with a glass of water and found the unit heating as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7731424810. He advised that generally when the unit is working, all of the components will test good and that we would need to catch the unit in a failed state before making any assumptions on the failed component. Went ahead and checked the door switches and found the door switch is opening and closing properly. Ordering door switches and relay board just in case there is an intermittent issue with door switches, magnetron, or the relay board. Gained access to compressor and restarted unit to get compressor to turn on. Measured amp draw to compressor and found out of range. Measured resistance on compressor and found electrical windings within range. Measured farads on capacitor and found within range. Tested unit with new starting device and measured amp draw and found with range. Found failed starting device. Leveled and assembled unit. Checked FC temperature and found unit cooling. Informed customer to allow 24 hours to reach proper temperature and 48 hours to make ice. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is intermittently not heating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had a load running at the time on a low heat cycle and advised that the unit did not seemingly dry her clothes for about three weeks before they called in. She said that it didn?t seem to heat but she wasn?t sure. She change the temperature to low and it?s seemingly been working since she has done that. Opened the door and found heat inside the dryer. Turn the temperature selector all the way out to high and round the unit. The unit started cycling correctly inside the dryer indicating no issues with the element or heating components. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Joel (no SR# due to commercial unit). He advised that based on the current information the issue would?ve had to have been with some sort of restriction inside the dryer vent or a voltage issue due to heating elements being good or bad and not resetting themselves. He advised to have the customer take a video of this the next time this happens and to check voltage as well as to power cycle the unit prior to starting the cycle again. He advised to make no repairs. Spoke to PR as well and was advised the same thing. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

We gained access to the evaporator and found ice build up. We then checked voltage at defrost timer to the defrost heater (ok). Then we inspected heaters and found them burnt out. We installed new heaters after removing ice from evaporator. Unit is working as designed.Job complete"

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is making some noise and banging around in spin. Ran unit and found error code for off balance load. Ran unit and could see a shimmy in the basket at high speed. Checked hub and found teeth on the hub almost completely stripped out. Checked gearcase and found no damage or gearcase oil present, no bearing noise. Replaced hub and calibrated unit. Verified shaking and noise are gone. Unit working as designed. START IS PRESSED, AND NOTHING HAPPENS. Tested voltage at the junction and wasnt getting 240. Tested voltage at the wall and was getting 240. Tried plugging in cord halfway into outlet in order to test voltage and started getting 240. With cord plugged in halfway the dryer turned on. Customer will need to contact an electrician to replace the outlet. When cord is plugged in all the way to the outlet it doesnt get proper voltage. Recommended the outlet be installed right side up instead of upside down like it is currently mounted to prevent strain on the cord. Job completed"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer Not Heating. I inspected the unit and work area. I put the unit into diagnostics and found no fault codes. I put it through a diagnostics cycle and found the unit heating. I put the unit into normal operation and rotated through the settings. And found the unit would randomly not heat. I tested voltage at the terminal during normal operation and found good voltage. I out the unit back into diagnostics and ran another cycle and the unit shorted and shut off while trying to run the motor. I replaced the control and retested it again. I found the same symptoms. I gained access to the thermal fuse, outlet thermistor , inlet thermistor, thermal cutoff and element. I tested continuity and ohms across all of them and found them with in range and not shorted. I tested the inlet and outlet thermistor at the control and found them reading correctly. I spoke to SW and we determined the motor and wiring harness should be replaced. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the new control and the unit still did not work as designed. I then gained access to the micro switches and found all ohmd out correctly. I called techline and spoke to Andy and kept the same SR# 7731292801. Andy recommended changing out the micro switch assembly housing. I switched out the housing and the unit would still not work correctly. Upon further inspection I found a very small break in the harness right next to the terminal block. I then tested the unit and it now worked as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for an ice maker that would intermittently fail. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit will work at times and then not. They also found sometimes the ice bin gets stuck with what seems to be ice. I checked the temps and found the FC at 10?F, the RC was at 39?F, and the IB was at 18?F. Upon further inspection I found the IM had ice in it and the IB did too. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the IM had no error codes. I found the IM harvesting, calling for water, the fan ran, and the ice level sensor worked as designed. I then went to gain access to the back of the unit, and when I took the toe plate off I found the condenser completely covered in hair and dust. I informed the customer this could very likely cause cooling issues in their unit. In turn, cause intermittent failure on the IM. Once I gained access to the control I ohmd out the IM thermistor. It read as 9k ohms, which is good for the temp. I found the IM working as designed and most likely failing due to temps fluctuating from the dirty condenser. Upon further inspection I found the ice box with a big hole in the bottom, which was allowing ice to get trapped under it. Thus, making it inaccessible or not able to be removed. I am ordering the ice box and will have to office reschedule to return and install. ; ordrng 1 W11129522 (Ice Box)"

Looked at the ice maker in the Freezer and saw that a thick sheet of ice was frozen all along with the bottom of the freezer with the tenants food stuck in it. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed microwave door to resolve door closing issues. Replaced door and tweaked hinges for better Contact. Tested and verified all is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site and inspected Dryer Ann Found heating element housing has fallen out of rear mounting, reassembled it and it is now heating and operating normally, took one picture airflow meter is showing partially restricted and recommended to homeowner that vent Exit on the home be inspected, Job complete"

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. Upon inspection found failed drain pump and clogged drain line. Removed debris from line and replaced drain pump. Tested unit and unit is functioning properly. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

Found dryer heating as designed upon initial temp test. After five minutes the dryer would not heat past 140. Found control was not sending proper voltage. Removed control and installed new control. Tested temps again and found thermal cut off faulty. Ordering thermal cut off kit to return and complete the repair. ORDERING AND Returning with another thermistor JIC. ; ordrng 1 280148 (Thermal cut off) and 1 WP8577274 (Thermistor)

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is not filling normally and throwing error. Ran unit in diagnostic and found inlet valve humming / stuck for cold side. Hot side working ok. Provided estimate for new inlet valve to resolve no cold water. Replaced inlet valve and retested and found unit working as designed with proper cold fill. no water leaks found."

"Arrived on site for sealed system repair. I gained access to the compressor and dryer. I punctured the dryer and found no pressure in the system. I gained access to the rc evaporator and found the drain pan, evaporator cover and housing damaged. I installed a new compressor, uv dryer, access valve, rc evaporator, cover, housing and drip pan. I pulled a vacuum on the system and found it holding. I put a measured charge into the system and found the pressures while cooling the freezer at 0 psi low and 145 psi high. The unit is working as designed job complete."

Arrived onsite for cold water not filling. Looked at the unit and found that the cold water valves had sand stuck in it from the water coming. Replaced valve and ran water with the hose only for a min to get any more sand out. Tested the unit. Unit tested good. No leaks at this time. Job complete
