"Arrived on site for Water Dispensing Slowly. Found water only trickled when dispensing. Removed water line to ensure the water line wasnt kinked. Looked good. Removed customers filter and used bypass and water dispensed as designed. While working heard valve call for water and could hear the valve vibrating the reservoir. Removed reservoir and valve. Installed new reservoir and valve and installed customer filter. Tested dispenser and water came out strong for a short period, but then went back to a trickle. Informed customer their filter needed replacement. While discussing filter options we heard the valve call for water and the vibration and knocking was gone. With this, new reservoir and new valve are now allowing proper water flow. Customer chose to use the bypass for now unless they decide later to install a new filter of their own. No leaks detected. "Arrived on site for a washing machine with the door not closing properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that in order to start the unit they ha e to hold the door down and to stop it they must do the same. Upon further inspection I found the door hovering about half an inch when closed. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I ran a test cycle and found all that was wrong was I had to push down the lid to initiate the cycle. I found the cycle not finishing without doing that. I then gained access to the hinges and found they appeared fine. However they are not working correctly, so I am ordering new ones to install. "Arrived on site to inspect microwave with no power, but the oven is working. Upon further inspection, I found he microwave control display blank and the oven display operating. I pulled the unit from the cabinets and removed the microwave cover and found the safety thermostat harness shorted. Traced the wiring to the fuse and filter board. Tested the fuse and it was bad and found a burn spot on the filter board where the fuse sits. Tested the switches and all are within range. Using a fuse from my van stock (W10138793), I installed the fuse and tested the microwave. Unit is operating as designed. Advised customer that should the fuse go bad again, the safety thermistor, fuse, and filter board will need to be replaced with the possibility of all 3 switches being replaced as well. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed sealed system parts to resolve sealed system leak. Evacuated system and found no pressure. When removing parts to replace compressor I found the drain tube for the RC was full of oil mixed into the water. When I removed the dryer, the dryer came out on fire due to oil and contaminants in it, and I also found the top of the dryer plugged. I proceeded to install the evaporator and compressor. Vacuumed unit for 30 minutes and verified vacuum holding. Attempted to charge system and found it would only take 2 oz of Freon. Removed dryer and tried to push with Freon through heat loop. You will hear air for a second and then it plugs. I tried heating the heat loop line and cutting off a small section from the bottom. Retried and the heat loop is still restricted. Called and spoke to Ed at tech line, SR7731087762. Tech line sent report for product review to engineering, as troubleshooting steps have already been taken to attempt to unrestrict line. Whirlpool will follow up with customer or us to follow up on review steps. No further action to perform at this time. ; O-emld tckt"

"Arrived on site for a range that was getting a F3E0 error code. Upon arrival the F3E0 error code for shorted sensor was flashing on the UI. I cleared the error code and put the unit into diagnostic mode. I found the diagnostics mode was reading no temp, indicating a sensor error. I gained access to the back of the unit and ohmd out the outlet, both elements, and the fuse. All read good. I then ohmd out the sensor and got 1k ohmd which is within range. I also ohmd out the harness and found it good. Once I plugged the unit back in it started working and I was actually able to preheat it. This indicates an intermittent faulty control. I will order the control to finish repair. Returning with sensor as well to install just in case. Office to reschedule. ; ordrng 1 W11528352 (Control)"

Arrived on site for a refrigerator with a water dispenser leaking. Upon arrival the customer stated it generally has small droplets coming from it all day. I found the customer has hard water and advised the customer this could of created the issue. I installed a new filter head and valve to stop the drip. I informed them that with hard water this could occur again. I also found they have a new filter in it and the unit did not do this with their prior filter. I advised them if the unit continues to drip they may want to replace the filter too. Unit is working as designed. No leaks observed at the end of service.

"Arrived on site for no cool. Checked evaporator compartment no traces of dye,checked compressor compartment found traces of dye inside liner called tech support ran video chat

"Arrived on site for a cooktop leaking gas. Upon arrival the customer stated that he has had plumbers come out twice to check pressures and for leaks. They did not find any leaks on the lines themselves. The customer also stated that you would have to use several burners at once to smell the leak, and even sometimes the pressure under their cabinets would cause the door to crack open. They stated depending on which burners they use it may even leak from the top. I gained access to the bottom and used my leak detector while running the burners on the line and regulator. I found no leaks. However, I could smell gas. I continued to run the right two and middle burners and could smell gas seeping out of the front left burner. I used my leak detector their and still found no bubbles forming. I gained access to the manifold, tubings, and orifice holders. I found major corrosion on the middle orifice holder and its tubing from the manifold. This may be where the leak is coming from. I called techline and spoke to Joel and received SR# 7731084149. Joel advised to replace the orifice holder, tubing, and manifold. Ordering parts and will return with the manifold to complete the repair. Office to reschedule. Arrived onsite and was advised that customer had been given advice by sales rep that unit could wash 16 bath towels at one time. Load would not spin out. Advised customer on design. Advised customer on use and care. All checks good.

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for not turning timer knob, upon inspection found the main stem of timer broke.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer making grinding noise. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they had taken the unit out of storage where it had been for approximately 2 yrs. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F8E1-no fill/long fill. I cleared the code and proceeded with testing and the unit failed to fill with water. I found the water source turned off at the wall. Turned the water on and restarted testing. Unit is operating as designed. When the unit began to agitate, it make a loud grinding noise, but did not in spin mode. I removed the agitator and it looked good. Reinstalled the agitator and retested and the unit operated as designed with no further noises. I advised the customer that due to the unit sitting for so long without water running to it caused the noises, but since the water is going into it now, the noises stopped. Basically, the water lubricated the unit. No water leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site for dw has pwr but not running. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran through diagnostics and completed all cycles until drain. Placed in a drain and could hear the drain pump chattering but not draining water. Removed drain pump and installed new drain pump. Ran through diagnostics and drain pump is draining as designed and heating element is heating. No leaks detected. Job completed.

Found no evidence of any burnt or grounded out wires. Found vent hose slightly restricted due to unit being close to wall. Moved unit out from wall to allow proper air flow. Advised customer to get a vent cleaning done to allow for proper air flow so the unit doesnt overheat. Unit functioning as designed. Call complete"

Upon further inspection, I found the lid in the closed position but gapped approximately 1/2 inch from the top panel. I removed the console and inspected the hinges and found when the lid pops back up the 1/2 inch, the hinges dont move. I contacted techline and spoke to Sterling and advised of the complaint and my findings. Sterling advised to replace the hinges and inspect the lid to make sure its not warped. He provided SR#7731088956. Customer advised that the display shows 1 minute at the end of the cycle and nothing is happening with the unit. She advised that it will stay at 1 minute for days unless she turns the unit off. I am ordering the main control, both hinges and the lid. Office to schedule return service. Customer advised that they wanted the unit replaced. I advised the customer that only Whirlpool can authorize that and provided her with the SR number and recommended that they contact customer service. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W11543997 (Main control) and 1 W11413336 (Lid assembly) and 1 W11128306 (Right hinge) and 1 W11128305 (Left hinge)"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer lid lock not working. Upon further inspection, customer advised that when they start the wash cycle, the display says add garment and they get confused. I demonstrated to the customer how the unit operates and what they should do before pressing start as far as the settings work. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and found none. Continued with testing the unit and it is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use & care as well as detergent use as the customer has a water softener system. Explained one more time on how the unit operates. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"(Tw) Onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and found door installed up-side down. Took door off, flipped hinges and latch to proper sides, re-installed door. Unit functioning as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite and replaced the igniter to repair a failed ignitor symptom of not glowing and not igniting. Unit is now operating as designed.

"(Tw) Onsite to install previously diagnosed part. Replaced Ice maker fan. Tested, fan is now running properly. Unit functioning as designed. Advised customer to wait 24-48hours for full ice production. Call complete."

Arrived on site to test unit for no ice production. Ranservice test 96(dispenser valve) and water dispensed good. Ran service test 97(ice maker valve) and no water. Replaced RC valve with no change. Fill tube heater tested good. Water tube not obstructed. Needing filter housing and valve on return visit. Office to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11024083 (housing) and 1 W11312191 (valve)
