"Arrived on site for washer tripping breaker during finale spin/drain cycle. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found breaker tripped with washer shut down. Found f5E2 lock failure. After further testing I found the following results100ohms (bad-lidlock j6-1&2) 21.3ohms (good-drain pump), motor windings were at 5.5ohms on arrival raised to 6.7-7.3ohms after a few tests and was over heating. "Arrived on site for refrigerator that is not going the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and remove the evaporator cover. Found ice buildup inside of the air channel that leads down to the refrigerator section causing this issue. The customer advised that while she was on the line with customer service, they advised her to try to turn the temperature dial inside the freezer to allow more cold air into the refrigerator section. When she did this, the knob and stem broke off of the control. I did confirm this issue but I also found some of the tabs on the backside of the evaporator cover broken. Steamed out the iceman set the position to the recommended setting. Went to order the evaporator cover but found the part not listed properly. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to JR SR# 7733848868. He advised that the part number does not reflect the actual part number on the schematics and will need to be researched through our parts distributor. He advised to send in for research and that whirlpool and our distributor will find the necessary parts to order. I performed test with an carbon monoxide detector wit the oven on and off and also with the burners on and found that the detector did not go off indicating no carbon monoxide detector. I noticed that one of the burners would sputter when set to simmer I adjusted this And found burner operating as designed. Unit operating as designed job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not dispensing detergent. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a clear glass that was fogged up and I could see leftover white detergent on the inside of the glass. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. I removed the outer door panel to monitor the dispenser functions and tested the unit. I placed my multimeter on the black wire at the junction box to monitor amp draw to the components. The unit is operating as designed. Customer advised that they have a filtration type system to the water supply of the home. I found the rinse aid dispenser dial set too high and explained what can happen with the dial at that setting with the filtration system. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid us. Customer questioned if they could use liquid plumber in the unit and I advised that they should not use it, bleach or vinegar as all will cause damaging issues with the unit. "Arrived on site to diagnose a cooktop with a cracked glass top. Was able to take pics of issue, but homeowner informed me they cancelled call as whirlpool was giving them a discount on a new unit and they already decided to replace unit. No services were performed today."

Arrived on site for washer making a loud noise. Upon arrival customer described issue they were having but stated after allowing the unit to run continuously the issue had stopped and they were able to restore all functionality back to the unit. Upon entering diagnostics I found no signs of error codes or failures during testing. I did however find that the drain hose was shoved into the stand pipe too far causing a natural siphon not allowing unit to fill properly. Its likely this had led to the unit going into a flood mode and once customers allowed flood mode to end all functionality was restored. Inform customer to allow unit to run and if issue comes back to let us know. Washer functioning as designed with no leaks during test. Call complete

The customer advised that the icemaker tray seemed bent and bowed potentially causing the issue. I did confirm that the icemaker tray had broken off of the motor causing the issue. The ice tray would fall forward and dump out most of the water. Replaced the icemaker and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed.

"Arrived on site for a microwave that is adding time, losing time, and is opening the door during the cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit started acting up after she cooked rice in a Pyrex bowl uncovered for 12 minutes. She advised that steam was coming out of the microwave pretty profusely and after that, anytime she cooked, the unit was adding time or subtracting time or opening the door during her cook cycles. She advised this happened over the course of a two day period. And I plugged in the unit and ran the unit testing it with water and found the unit working four times in a row without opening the door or adding time. I asked the customer if she was using any specific functions of her microwave that might use the moisture sensor. She could not remember exactly what cycles she was using. The customer tested it again herself twice and could not get the unit to fault. I did advise the customer that it is possible that with the steam accumulation during that rice cooking cycle, it may have affected her controls until they completely dried. Went through the user manual and did find that the manufacturer requests a lid to be used or saran wrap to be used when cooking items inside of the microwave. Went over user care guide with the customer explaining why they dont want open steam inside of the microwave. I called Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Kelly SR# 7733801016. She advise not to make any repairs at this point and that you would get the file notated. Call complete."

Upon arrival inspected unit and found water level sensor is corroded and has broken wires at harness and therefore not making a call for water from valve.Also found pump making a rattling noise. noticed harness is corroded and wires are brittle. There is now a call for water at the valve ,but valve is just humming and needs to be replaced. Replaced valve and unit now operates correctly.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has LED lights out in the freezer and refrigerator sections. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and found three lights on the top working but all the other lights out. Checked the side refrigerator modules and found he upper right module out. Replaced that module and found the side lights come on but not the freezer or several upper lights. Advise the customer that we would need to replace the freezer module as well. Replaced the freezer module and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is flashing an F9 E1 (long drain) error code. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and ran the unit through diagnostics. Found an F9 E1 and F3 E1 (pressure system fault) error codes. The customer stated that his wife consistently uses too much soap to where the unit will show a suds error message. He did advise this happened on multiple occasions. He stated that they had cleared out the drain using a shop vac and that since then, it has worked the last dozen cycles without failing. He just wanted to make sure that the unit was working properly. I did run the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found all working as designed. I did advise the customer that it is possible that the oversuds issue may have caused the long drain issue due to suds potentially getting inside of the pressure hose and not allowing the unit to recognize that water had completely drained out of the unit. He did state that water has always been removed from the basket but they still had that code. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and call back if further issues persisted.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Went to replace the valve and found that the valve was missing inlet thermistor. It was not even installed on the pin connector. Advised the customer that that was probably the issue with her unit as the unit could not determine water temperature. "Arrived to inspect panel damage. I found the panel had melted a second time and I inspected. The CX had used the upper broiler for an extended time and the same issue occurred as found in the prior service. The broiler venturi had been set completely open by the original installer and I closed it to match the elevation of this area (approximately 750 above sea level) and tested. I gathered temperatures of the exhaust flue via thermography and attached to this service order. I contacted the mfg, tech Andrew and reported my findings. SR# 7733844707. I removed and replaced the control membrane assy and tested. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service. Contacted safety and spoke with Monica. I advised Safety of my findings."

"Arrived to inspect no ice. I found the unit was producing ice, but very slowly and the ice within the bin was wet and clumped, indicating refrigerator air leaking into the ice bin. I found the left door was leaning to the right and the lower hinge was bent down. I corrected the door alignment and hinge issue and tested. The gasket contacted the fascia as designed. I cleaned the condenser coils and lower unit area and sealed the drain tube assembly after verifying it was not plugged. I squared and leveled the chassis and set the door height on the right side to match. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with ice in the bottom of the freezer. Upon further inspection, I found water in the bottom of the RC section and FC section. I checked the drain tubes and found no water in the evap pan. Using my steamer, I steamed the drain tubes from the back of the unit and was able to get the lines cleared. I found the drain tubes had duck bills that were sealed closed. I cleared the duck bills and adjusted them and reinstalled the tubings. I recommended that the customer unplug the unit and defrost it

"Arrived on site for a washing machine throwing error codes. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit is not working, and prior it would just randomly change cycles and never be accurate on the UI. I put the unit into diagnostic mode and found stored error code F6E2 for communication error and F2E1 for stuck button. I cleared the error codes. I then tried to run a diagnostics cycle and found the buttons not working properly and the selections not responding. Upon further inspection I found the gearcase had significant oil indicating a failing gearcase. In order to repair the unit it will need a console, control, gearcase, and slider. I informed the customer on my findings, and they just want to repair the console and control. I installed both parts and then tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with no cool. Upon further inspection I found both compartments with no cool and no frost pattern. I also found the mullion significantly hotter than it should be and constantly running. I gained access to the back of the unit and found the compressor overheated and also constantly running. I checked amp draw to the compressor and found it at .8 amps. This indicates a control and SS failure. I also found the water line leaking at the valve, and a sign of a leak from the water line into the IM. Upon further inspection I I found the waterline to the IM actually cut in half. I informed the customer on my findings. The customer stated they were only trying to fix it temporarily before they remodel their kitchen.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the valve and then tested the unit. The unit began working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and replaced display control to repair. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. All checks good.

Arrived onsite and found the door seal slot had been dislodged from the bottom right rivets. Bent slot as far back into place as possible. Advised customer on full repair requiring the replacement of the tub. Provided some advice on workaround options.

"Arrived on site. Removed bottom grill found exchanger line to evaporator heavily corroded uploaded picture unit will need an evaporator for a proper repair.

Arrived on site and found drain pump is not running. Remove standing water and found drain pump is jammed by pocket debris. Replace drain pump. Customer is aware after showing them what has caused drain pump to fail. Job complete

Arrived onsite for control issues and determined glitching and unresponsive touch panel. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.
