"Arrived on site for NOT HEATING VERY WELL--TAKES SEVERAL CYCLES TO GET DRIED CLOTHES--THE DUCTS HAVE BEEN CHECKED. We gained access to the unit. We tested unit by running a normal dry and a time dry cycle. We found no heat. We then tested thermal fuse, outlet thermistor, input thermostat and thermal cutoff. Found them all good. Which points to the heating element being bad or on its way out.

Arrived on site for dishwasher it drying dishes and top rack getting stuck. Inspected unit and work area. Found top rack in normal operation. Informed customer about spray arm attached to rack and water tubing needs to seal to spray arm and if did not lock water pressure would push on rack causing door to pop open. Performed diagnostics mode and monitored test cycle. Measured amp draw to unit and found when heat pump was on it was drawing 6.8 amps. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Andrew. "Arrived on site for a washing machine with the lid not locking. Upon arrival the customer showed me that when you try to start a cycle, the UI just continue to shows close lid. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found error codes F0E9 for an of balance pause and F0E5 for an off balance load. I cleared the error codes. I advised the customer on proper loading via the user care guide. I then tried to start a test cycle, but nothing happened. I tried to manually activate the lid lock, but could not. I then checked voltage at the wall and control. Both were good. I then activated the lid lock in diagnostics and checked the voltage to the lid lock. I found the correct 120VAC going to it. This indicates a failed lid lock needing to be replaced. I replaced the lid lock and then tested the unit. The lid was now manually locking in diagnostics. I ran a diagnostics cycle and it ran through as designed. I found the unit now working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete."

Arrived on site for Oven Turning Itself ON. We spoke to customer about the unit and found out it had been turned off at the breaker. We turned breaker back on. We then put the unit into diagnostics mode and checked version information and the unit froze and the turned its self off. Th unit cam back on and we checked error codes and found F6e4 error. Arrived onsite for refrigerator losing cool in the FC. Upon arrival I found the FC=14 RC=37 I was inspecting the evap cover for ice build up and found none but I did notice the wall on the left side of the FC door was very hot. I accessed the compressor and condenser. I found the condenser fan was not running. I confirmed voltage at the connector for the fan but no function of the fan. ; ordrng 1 WR60X23363 (Condenser fan)

Arrived onsite for range not baking or heating in the oven. Upon inspection I found the glow bake ignitor only pulling 2.5 amps when at at least 3.2 would be needed to engage the gas valve to ignite. I found the harness from the valve to the controls was frayed. I advised the customer that the unit would more than likely ignite and bake once the ignitor is replaced but I cant say how long the harness will hold up. I replaced the ignitor and tested bake at 350. The new ignitor now pulls about 3.3 amps then ignites the burner as designed. No gas leaks detected.

Arrived on job to replace previously diagnosed part. After replacement test operation found water line frozen. Checked and fans are working properly now with the replacement of UI that came with new door.

Arrived onsite for washer that stopped mid cycle and flashed a error code. Upon inspection of the diagnostics fault codes I found F9E1 stored in the unit. The customer stated they had to vacuum out the water in the unit. I tilted the unit back and found the harness housing on the drain pump had fallen down and caused the harness to disconnect from the pump. I re secured the harness and secured the housing to the pump. I tested the unit and it went through auto diagnostics as designed. No leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that?s still having issues starting intermittently. The customer advised that since the electrical was fixed, the issue has happened way less but that it periodically still has issues. She stated that it worked fine for a few weeks and then it didn?t for a week and then it seemingly stopped for a cycle or two and then has been working the last few days. I checked the unit 10 times and turning the unit on and then opening the door. The unit worked as designed and could not replicate the issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7730625255. He advised that based on the current information, there?s really no way to determine what the issue is since the unit has been working for extended periods of time and that it most likely was a voltage issue still that was happening radically. He advised the only way to determine this is if we can find the unit in a failed state and that no repairs at this time would make a difference. Advised to have the customer call back on the unit was in a failed state so that we can try to figure out with the root causing the issue is.

Arrived on site and inspected freezer light not working. Confirmed the complaint and found the switch was frozen shut. I defrosted the switch and the light bulb works properly. Job completed

"I arrived on site to re diagnose issues with microwave not being able to start and any time the door is open relays go on and off, I gained access to the top and sides of the unit and removed all of the metal coverings, I gained access to all of the harnesses and checking each connection, I found that there is a burn on the line going to the thermostat, I removed the burned portion and fitted a new connector, this ended up fixing the issues and now the microwave is functioning properly as designed, I cleared out the error codes and now the unit is operating properly as designed. "Arrived on site for a microwave that?s not venting properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that her unit doesn?t seem to suck up all the steam from around the unit. Tested the vent fan and found the fan running properly. Used a paper towel to do the paper towel test on the vent fan and found the paper towel sticking to the vent. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to JR# 7731700319. He advised that due to energy efficiency standards having to be met, they have to pull energy from certain components to be within spec of the standard. He advised that on most microwave vent ovens, usually the electrical is pulled from the vent fan due to the need to be able to microwave properly. He advised that if the unit was functioning with the two fan speeds and the paper towel test did it?s job, that the unit was working properly. He advised that the further away from the vent cover you get, the less likely that steam will be pulled into the microwave and out. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for refrigerator making odd noise at random from ice maker. Upon arrival I ran harvest on ice maker but couldnt confirm noise.
