I found the lower oven working but the bake relay was not closing for the upper oven. I replaced the control and adjusted the upper oven flue cap then tested the upper oven in the bake cycle. The bake cycle is working as designed. I tested the upper oven in the broil cycle and the control panel is not staying cool enough to touch. Call complete.

I found the compressor starting at 17 amps and dropping to 7.75 amps then tripping the overload. The compressor was extremely hot. I found the sealed system completely flat. I could smell the same smell the customer experienced when the compressor would try and run. I filled the system with nitrogen and found a leak at the joint between the process stub and compressor. I replaced the compressor, drier, and installed an access valve. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 56 grams of R600A. I tested the unit and the evaporator had a full frost pattern. The cabinet installers had returned and corrected the left side of the cabinet and had reinstalled the screws for the unit, leaving it in a plumb condition (image attached.) the right side was not corrected and the refrigerator cabinet was still too far back in the lower right corner, by approximately 7/16. Utilizing mechanical assist, I was able to pull the lower right corner out the distance required to put the refrigerator chassis back to square and verified plumb (image attached) after the correction was complete. I advised the customer the door seals will take a few days to conform to the corrected position and to ensure positive door closing for that short duration. "ADB1400AGS1 Arrived to inspect washability and detergent not dissolving/dispensing issues. There were no stored error codes within service test mode and I found the unit filled and circulated well. The dispenser could be heard and was visibly confirmed, fully opening. The element, when tested with circulating water, drew 9.8 amps initially and as expected, then quickly descended to 8.3 amps. Dry testing was 9.4 descending to 3.6 amps, which is well within MFG specifications. There were no test mode errors generated upon completion. The only mechanical issues were the lower spray arm was not fully attached in the back of its mount and the rinse agent was set to the highest level. Discussion with the customer revealed they do pre-rinse and have city water. They were using pre-measured pods and I advised them the amount of detergent within the pods is too much, by many times and to use one TBSP of automatic dishwasher detergent, as a starting point, to prevent the formation of excessive sudsing, which can severely limit the flow of water, especially in non-diverter equipped models. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

KFEG500ESS6 Arrived to inspect burning odor and pop noise. I found the terminal block hardware had been left completely loose by the installers. I removed and replaced the terminal block and hardware and tested. The unit heated and cycled as designed and additional thermal imagery of the terminal block and associated wiring revealed no additional hot spots that would denote connection issues. Operational test good.

"MVW7232HW Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Prior to part changeout, I flipped the unit back and used a jump cord to drain the water, after finding the pump at 19.7 ohms. After the water was removed, additional inspection revealed the gear case has been leaking oil and will require replacement. Service test mode showed F3E2 stored and the unit attempted flood stage draining. I was able to avert the extended drain and then recalibrated the unit to attempt to allow the customer use, prior to our return. I ran it through a test mode and it passed. During testing, I found debris had lodged in the air dome and may have caused the flood stage issue. Returning tech will need to clear and re-test the air dome prior to service completion. No leaks observed during service. The customer has an extended warranty and the unit is not in MFG warranty. They will contact the warranty company to have us dispatched to complete the repairs."

"KDTE204KPS1 Arrived to inspect unit not starting. Service test mode attempt showed a 7-2 error, shortly after starting and all error mode slots registered the same error. I tested from the control to the motor and found 16.9-17.1 ohms between all three lines of the variable speed motor. I removed and replaced the control and tested. The issue did not resolve and I disassembled the pump for inspection. I found a piece of foreign plastic debris, from an unknown source, had lodged within the impeller and once removed, the motor turned freely. Reassembly and thorough testing showed the issue to be fully resolved. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"KCGS556ESS05 Arrived to inspect constant ignition clicking. I found the unit would not stop attempted igniting and I disassembled and inspected. I found the switch assembly incorrectly installed and after correcting, the sparking issue was resolved. During reinstallation, I found the cabinet cutout somewhat larger than required. This caused the unit to sit on the upper cover, vs the common installation of on the main chassis. I advised the customer of my findings and that shimming may be necessary if issues persist. No gas leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site and inspected washer and found customer has already replaced drain pump. Found resistance on original drain pump and replacement are 16 Ohms. Used a direct connection cord to drain pump and it is running properly when plugged into the wall. In a diagnostic cycle control board is not sending power to drain pump when requested.

"Arrived on site to follow up pn refrigerator that had started losing cool. On arrival found items cool, but not cold. I checked wattage and found wattage dropping under 90. I pressurized the system with nitrogen ro 100 psi and checked for leaks. Unit lost over 5psi in under the first 15 minutes. I sprayed down all lines, and both evaporator with soapy water and found no bubbles or leaks. This indicates a leak in the cabinet somewhere. Called and reported to tech line, speaking with Bruce first and then Steve with findings. SR 7736110310. No repair to perform at this time. Arrived onsite for an ice machine not making any ice but it fills with water and the pump is running. The customer stated the machine is making a very thin layer of ice and seems to be melting of the evaporator. I tested the machine and found it cooling properly. I found the reservoir running out of water due to the reservoir drain pump tube not installed correctly causing the reservoir water to siphon out resulting in the thin ice. I corrected the tube and tested the machine. The unit is making thick ice now and working as designed. The customer has the WLS disconnected and is letting it fill off the control.

I power cycled the unit and then ran a diagnostic cycle and found unit operating as designed then the I ran normal cycle and monitored the unit till it made a slab of ice.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not heating properly. Inspected unit and work area. Because you advised the unit does heat and tumble, but has not been drying her clothes properly. Did find her vent hose crunched behind the unit due to the both units being pushed back against the wall. The customer requested that we swap both units to give the dryer a shorter vent. Did go ahead and swap places for both units and Short and her vent hose. Found that I could only push the unit back far enough to leave 4 inches for the vent hose, which caused an issue with her back door opening and closing fully. Because the mayor asked if we could swap the two back and I did advise the customer that we could swap the two back, but she would still need to leave room for the vent hose not to be, squished and restricting airflow movement out through her wall

Per customer freezer never froze any items,powered unit on removed evaporator cover let unit run with freezer door closed,checked door seal found bottom of gasket not touching cabinet under door,found liner channel out of spec allowing door seal to come right out of channel and not hold in liner. Arrived on site for unit not operating. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and there are no saved error codes. Ran quick diagnostics test and all components operate correctly. Arrived onsite and replaced the stainless door skin for cosmetic dent. Handle bolt sheered. Ordering bolt and nut to repair. ; ordrng 1 W11157086 (Stud) and 1 W10826179 (Screw)

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I installed the new ui but upon inspection I found that the ui was for a MW oven combo the unit is still operational but will not make for a good user experience. I am ordering another ui for a single oven office to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11296171 (CONSOLE)

"Arrived onsite for a microwave to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I confirmed the HV transformer was defective because the secondary winding was open. I found the upper interlock actuator flipped back. I corrected the interlock and checked continuity on all the door switches while opening and closing the door. The switches tested good. I found the fuse good. I powered the unit up and found the cavity lamp staying on whether the door was opened or closed. I found when the door was closed the turntable was also running. I checked the harness at the turntable and found it good. I tested continuity from P1-3 to P1-4 and found the relay on the main control not stuck closed. I tested the door switches with live voltage and found them good. I found the left mounting bolt had gaulded to the wrapper nut. I called techline and spoke with Scott SR# 7736206806 and gave him my findings and he confirmed by my findings that there is either an issue with the control panel or the main control itself but recommended replacing both at the same time. Ordering W11552018 main control, W11175576 control panel, & W10821385 hard mount kit. Arrived onsite for a range with a broken outer glass. On arrival all the glass was broken out of the outer door and the customer had cleaned most of it up. I took a photo of the outer door showing no dents in the stainless. I explained to the customer that outer doors are only covered in the first 30 days and they needed to call Whirlpool for a concession if they agree to cover it. Leaving the call open to save the parts for this customer. Office to be watching for a concession before RS the call.; O-emld tckt

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is not starting or advancing. Tested unit and found it does nothing when started. Lid does not lock. Found control shorted, drain pump, latch not functioning. Replaced control and latch, but unit still needs drain pump. Ordering drain pump ; ordrng 1 W11399437 (Drain Pump)"

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was not dispensing any ice. I tested the unit and could hear motor turning, but auger shaft in bucket was not moving. Removed bucket and checked the impeller, and found I could easily rotate it on the shaft due to being stripped out. Part has been ordered but has not arrived yet.
