REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF555SDFZ11 Arrived onsite for refrigerator that is not dispensing water or ice. Upon inspection I found the customer had turned off the water because it would not dispense. I removed the filter and plugged in the bypass. The unit dispensed water as designed. I put the filter back in and I could hear water entering it. I let the dispenser run and found pressure built up in the filter housing. The cause must have been too much pressure to the filter head. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. I advised the customer to flush the system for at least 2 gals to remove any charcoal sediment from the filter. Job complete.

DRYER MAYTAG MEDB855DC4 Arrived on site for a dryer that wont start. He advised that she wanted the unit looked at but he doesnt think that theres anything wrong with it. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F4 E3 (restricted airflow) error code. Checked behind the unit and found the vent hose restricted due to getting crunched by the dryer. Fixed vent hose and tested the user interface test. Everything is working as designed. Tested the unit by starting a normal dry cycle four times and then it started as designed. I advise the customer that it appears that everything was working just fine. I did advise that she needs to make sure shes using her finger to touch it not poking at it or putting pressure on the user interface as it sometimes will not register. I also explained that the unit takes the heat off the finger. Customer advised that his wife has cold hands and that that was probably why she couldnt start it. Call complete.

The street elbow will need to be replaced in order to thread the new street elbow onto the new manifold. Currently the new regulator is lightly screwed onto the manifold threads for safe keeping. The regulator will need to be removed from this temporary spot and the new street elbow will need to be threaded onto the manifold threads followed by threading the regulator being threaded onto street elbow and then connecting the gas line to both sides of the gas regulator and gas connection at the wall.
