"Arrived on site for a washing machine making a loud thumping/rattle noise. Upon arrival the customer stated it is more apparent when the unit is in spin. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found no abnormal noise. I then ran a high spin and found no abnormal noise. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found everything in good shape. I removed the top of the unit and found everything inside in good shape and as designed. I tested the suspension and found it as designed. I ensured the nut to the wash plate was tight and found it secure. I found the unit had no mechanical failure and running as designed. I informed the customer on what a customer instruct entails, and that they had used theirs today.

Arrived onsite for washer that stopped and did not complete a a cycle. Upon inspection I found fault code 21 stored in the system. I followed the techsheets troubleshooting steps and determined the main control would need to be replaced. I replaced the main control and programmed it accordingly. I ran the sensor test. Test passed. The unit is working as designed at this time but I asked the customer to run a load to make sure it performs as expected. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived on site for ITS NOT WORKING IT I JUST BOUGHT IT. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Asked customer if they recently replaced the disposal and they had. Found knock out still inside disposal not giving the water anywhere to go when drain pump turned on. Found water valve not turned on under cabinet. Turned on valve to allow water to come in. Removed knock out and started diagnostics cycle. Dishwasher completed all cycles and heating element turned on at the end. No leaks detected. Job completed.

Arrived onsite and checked the dryer for overheating and found unit operating well. Checked vent and found good airflow and perfect installation. Advised customer on findings. No concerns discovered. All checks good.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher leaking. Upon arrival the customer had a towel down and it was soaked. The customer also stated that the timer will intermittently get stuck and not advance. The water appeared to be leaking out of the front of the unit. I gained access to under the unit and found significant signs of water leakage by the float switch and under the right side of the door. I then ran a cycle, but could not replicate the leak. I gained access to inside of the door and found a bad seal on the vent, which was allowing water build up inside of the console area. I also found water streaks coming from the dispenser/rinse aid area. Upon further inspection I also found the plastic console physically broken, and not allowing the door to stay together properly. This may of been what is started causing the vent sealing issue. I also found the timer sticking and not working properly. Due to this, we will need t order and replace the console, switch/floater assembly, dispenser, and timer. Including the console 99001768, reservoir nut 99002005, and the vent seal 99001783. "Arrived on site for dishwasher not filling with water. Inspected unit and work area. Found a spoon laying underneath float switch. Found lower rack guide wheels melted from heater. Performed diagnostics mode and found fault code F6-E1 no water, 6-4 float switch activated and 6-3 suds or air in pump. Found silverware underneath float switch cause error codes. Found unit now filling with water. Monitored test operation and found all components working. Will need to replace lower left front guide wheels. Went to shop to get part. Returned back on site and installed wheel guide. Tested lower rack operation. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service.

Removed failed ice maker and ice maker arm, installed new. Added pads to condenser to keep from rattling. Found slow water pressure was due to filter head and was able to repair. Informed customer if water pressure slows down or stops filter head will need to be replaced.

"Arrived on site for an refrigerator that is making a loud noise and not cooling properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that their main concern was the thermometer in the refrigerator compartment was showing 41?F and sometimes would fluctuate up a few degrees when sitting for a while. I explained to the customer how when the heater turns on in the unit, it is possible for the interior to go up a few degrees. They also stated the unit will intermittently make a louder noise, but not as often as the prior services. I checked temps in the unit and found them good. I found the thermometer not accurate and 5?F higher than the actual temp in the unit. I informed the customer on my findings and how their thermometer was reading incorrectly. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and activated each airflow component. Each ran as designed and made no abnormal noise. I then ran test 40 and monitored the compressor for any abnormal sounds. It ran and sounded as designed. I informed the customer on how when the compressor ramps up that it can make a louder noise than while idle. Upon further inspection I found no excessive frost or ice build up on the evaporators. I found the unit working as designed, and the thermometer they were using was just inaccurate. I let the customer know of my findings. I also advised them on what a customer instruct entails, and that they have used theirs today.

Found a non whirlpool power cable was being used on the unit. Unit seems to be working as designed and ran through diag fine. Advised resident that there is either excessive line noise, or a bad aftermarket power cable on the unit. Recommended to leasing office to replace power cable with a genuine whirlpool cable for the unit, and if this does not resolve then there is line noise in the circuit, which is not a failure of the appliance, and anything in the circuit needs to be removed 1 at a time till the noise stops. "Arrived on site to complete sealed system repair previously diagnosed.the evaporator, compressor, heat exchange, permagum sealer and drain pan heater I removed and replaced the compressor, access valve, hv dye drier, heat exchange tubing, drain pan heater, and evaporator. Vacuumed the system and it held pressures. Installed 7.75oz of R134a refrigerant and monitor pressures. Unit held pressures and the evaporator had a good frost pattern forming. Arrived onsite for washer not operating or stopping mid cycle. Upon arrival I confirmed the complaint and the UI would power on for about 3 secs then power off before any mode could be selected. I was able to access diagnostics and found F5E4 and F8E1 stored in the system. I found the hot valve at the wall was turned OFF I turned it on and it began to leak from the handle on the valve. I ran diagnostics and all functions passed. I noticed the unit was shaking during spin in diagnostics and there was a intermittent squeal. I accessed the Ui and disconnected. I accessed the shocks and verified all in good condition.I verified tight connections at the control and Ui. I accessed the rotor and stator. I could not see any visible shorts or breaks in the harness or stator windings. I monitored and found 5VDC at the UI connector and voltage was steady I reassembled the unit and tested in normal drain and spin. The unit operated as designed without losing power. I found it to be spinning and working as designed at this time and no leaks besides the HOT valve in the wall were detected. I notified the customer of the leaking valve. Job complete

Arrived onsite for dishwasher intermittently not washing and showing error codes. Upon inspection I found F9E1 was the only code stored on the unit. I let diagnostics run through and it seemingly ran completed as designed. I could hear the diverter making a abnormally loud clicking noise. I ran a normal cycle out of diagnostics and found the unit would not wash only click multiple times. I inspected the motor assembly closer and found some parts of the tile under the motor are warped and there is yellow calcium coming out of the diverter indicating a leak at some point in the cycles.I re assembled and tested the unit. The unit now washes in normal cycle and in diagnostics as designed. No leaks detected during time of service.Job complete.

"Arrived on site for When turning on the oven after about 10-15 minutes the entire stove will be to hot to touch including the button on the panel, the handle, the glass? etc. Found small screw lodged between the interior glass panel and the gasket on the left side of the oven door. Removed interior glass panel and dislodged the screw. Remounted glass evenly onto gasket. Had customer inspect and confirm the glass was seated properly onto gasket. Turned on bake to 400. Once temp was reached the oven glass was not showing steam as it did prior to repair. Tested left side exterior of oven to ensure it wasnt too hot. Customer was concerned about the amount of heat radiating off the front panel behind the range burner knobs. I explained that this was normal and to be conscious of the amount of heat it produces inside when the interior of the oven when it is 350 -450 or hotter inside. Advised to only touch the knobs and not the panel as this is why the knobs are all extended away from this panel. Customer confirmed the handle on the oven door was nowhere near as hot as it was before the screw was removed from the glass and gasket. Job completed."

Arrived onsite for door to the unit not holding up. Looked at the unit and customer showed that both little black pads had torn off. Replaced both pads. Tested the door. No issues at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site for refrigerator freezing up ice into clumps. Upon arrival I found unit making ice but some cubes in unit were frozen together as if water and spilled and refrozen onto ice. After further inspection found no cooling or temp issues. I did find rust of ice maker causing it to leak into bucket when run. Also found ice and gotten into dispenser part of bucket and ruined the flap inside bucket and I was unable to realign properly. . ; ordrng 1 W11185686 (Ice buckt)

Arrived on site for leaking and poor washing performance . Found actuator had failed . Replaced actuator. Ran calibration and diagnostics wash. No leaks found with washer . Drain stand is fill close to overflow . Recommended having drain looked at bye plumber . No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

Arrived on site and inspected washer not working properly. Customer advised the NORMAL cycle isnt preforming properly. I put the unit in diagnostics and found no error codes. It completed diagnostics mode as designed. I calibrated (test52) the unit and advised the customer to purchase a surge protector. Unit tested as designed. Job complete

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher leaking while in uses. We put unit into diagnostics and ran a cycle and found no leaks at the bottom of unit. We then opened unit to inspect tub, heating element o-ring, and sump and motor assembly all checked good. We then checked the tub gasket and found some hared water marks on the right upper corner and all the way down to the bottom of reg door and the gasket was deformed in that area . We then install a new gasket. Unit is working as designed no leaks detected at this time. Job complete"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling properly. Upon arrival the customer stated they have had some things freezing in the lower part of the RC. I checked temps and found the FC at 1?F and the RC at 44?F (after being opened a little bit). Upon further inspection I found the RC evap cover covered in frost/ice. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components working. I then gained access to the control and ohmd out all thermistors. The RC read 4.2k, the FC read 15.89k, and the RC evap thermistor at 2.28k. Both RC and FC readings are accurate. The RC evaporator thermistor however is way out of range, indicating a faulty RC evap thermistor. In order to repair the unit we would need to replace the evap thermistor. Due to the amount of ice build up I advised the customer on leaving the unit off for at least 48 hours before service and that we would have to reschedule. Office to reschedule."
