Arrived onsite for a washer that the ring has come loose and it will not work anymore. I found where the tube ring has gotten wedged under the rear sound pad causing the unit to be out of balanced. The tub ring was just scraped but wasnt cracked or broken. The shipping donuts were still on the leveling feet and the feet were tight against them and not screwed all the way out. I removed the shipping donuts and screwed the leveling legs all the way out and then leveled the machine. I found multiple F2E1 error codes stored but the console passed and all selections are working properly. The center digit on the left side display is out and not working. I ran the service cycle and the gearcase is extremely noisy. There is oil all under the machine. The gearcase and the slider need to be replaced.

Arrived onsite for a washer not draining or spinning out and the door will not lock. I checked stored error codes and found an F9E1 & F5E1. I ran the quick test cycle and found the drain pump not turning on. I found correct voltage at the pump and the drain pump resistance was good but the electrical connector had broken and was not making good contact on the harness.

"Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I was able to remove the wash plate but it cracked and I showed the customer and explained it would have to be replaced because of this. I replaced the gearcase, cam, belt, and wash plate. I lowered the leveling feet all the way down and then leveled the machine. I ran the DLMS calibration then the service cycle. The machine completed the cycle and worked as designed.

"Arrive onsite for a vent hood that will not release the vent filters when attempting to remove them for cleaning. Upon inspection I found that the filters were extremely hard to remove I had to use a plastic pry tool to get them out and put them back in. Which is abnormal . I attempted the to adjust the rings that hold them in, but that did not help . I advised the cx to contact whirlpool speak to them about the vent hood as this could be a manufacturing defect. Cx to contact whirlpool .

"110.61202010 Arrived to inspect noise. I found the roller wheel in the left rear had failed and was freely spinning on the hub. There were signs of excessive back pressure as well. I R/R the dryer rebuild kit and removed all lint from within the chassis. The unit would heat, but due to extremely restricted flow, would short cycle. I advised the customer to have the venting cleaned out prior to any attempted use. Operational test with vent off, good.

"MDB8959SKZ0 Arrived to inspect no water entering and burning odor. Service test mode had F10E2 stored in memory. I found no issues with the element and it had the appearance of dry operation. I found debris within the drain and circulation pumps and removed. The control would not effectively operate within service test mode and I suspected the debris had locked motors, causing control overheat and failure, compounded by excessive heat soak from over detergenting, cause by pre-measured pods. After replacing the control, the unit resumed normal operations. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived onsite for oven not heating. On inspection the upper oven is working and the lower one is not. Tested the temp sensor was 1k and the heating element was 16 ohms. Tested the glow igniter was OL, replaced the igniter and it is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during inspection.

"Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was not properly starting most cycles. Customer also got a flashing F6E2 error as well. Checked in diagnostic and confirmed presence of F6E2, which is UI cant hear control. Ui has already been replaced, leaving control as likely cause. Replaced control and verified I could start multiple cycles with no issues.

Arrived on site to test unit for temp not being correct. Customer stated inspector found temps to be off 25 degrees. Heated both ovens to 350 and found temps were correct. Also found elements cycling as designed. Unit is working as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not heating. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for codes and found F2E1. Also found the key tone was turned off. I cleared the code and tested the components and all are functioning properly. Once out of diagnostics, I went into the tools/options and reset the control and turned the key tones back on and tested the unit in Bake at 350 degrees. The unit reached temp and is operating as designed. I tested the bottom drawer and it too is operating as designed. I advised the customer that the unit had the error code indicating there was a stuck key on the control panel, but since resetting the control, the u;it is operating as designed.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they have been finding a large amount of water coming from under the unit and around the sides. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. I removed the back panel and once the unit filled, I advanced to engage the drain pump and found no signs of a leak and there were no leaks within the valve hoses. I tested the unit several times with the customer present and never found a leak. When I went to put the unit back in its space, I found a small amount of water on the floor where the door was positioned over the puddle. I found the door is leaking at the bottom of the bellow. I found a small amount of debris on the bottom section the inner glass that was causing a break in the seal and water was leaking out. Customer cleaned the bellow and inner glass and I retested and unit is no longer leaking. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and if it leaks anymore to contact our office to schedule service, at which time, the bellow will need to be replaced.

"Arrived on site to inspect range ignitors clicking all the time. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged and plugged it back in. Tested all the cooktops burners and the oven and unit is operating as designed. The customer advised that the cooktop burner ignitors were constantly arcing even when they werent using the unit. I tested several times and could not get the unit to duplicate the complaint. I removed and replaced the spark module and retested and unit continues to operate as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop display indicators not turning. Off while unit is off. Upon further inspection, I found the display showing the hot surface/cooktop on indicators lit up but the unit is off. I pulled the unit out and removed he back cover to expose the cooktop switches and found the front right burner switch with a burnout mark. I unplugged the switch and the display indicators turned off. I removed and replaced the switch and retested and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"WRV986FDEM01 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the prior service damaged FC light switch and verified operation. Testing the unit, I found no faults within any sensors, fans, harness and control parts, nor any other computational systems. The FC defrost circuit had the expected continuity and resistance measurement and manual defrost voltage testing was operational. The feet were not set, but may have been prior and I squared and leveled the chassis, requiring over 1/2 of front-end lift. The doors were incorrectly aligned and I corrected all RC door alignment. Finding no other faults, I suspect the issue was with an item(s) that may have blocked complete FC door closing, as the ice development within the FC evaporator is atypical of other issues found with this type of chassis. I coached the customer on frontal FC item placement.

Customers complaint was tried to start a wash cycle and unit would fill for a couple of seconds and then stopped with error code F and beeping. I entered diagnostics snd found no stored error codes. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven error code. Upon further inspection, the customer advised they tried to use the oven and it shut down and the error code F8E0 appeared on the display again. Customer also advised the display went blank and came back on. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F8E0. Cleared the code and pulled the unit out to check voltage readings at the P5 connector. I turned the blower on the low setting and checked voltage at the P5-4 to Neutral and got no voltage reading. I tested the high speed at P5-5 to Neutral and got the same results. I tested the blower at the P4-1 to P4-2 and got 9.2VDC which is a little high/out of range. I contacted techline and spoke to Andrew and advised of the complaint, previous repairs and my findings. Andrew had me jump the P5-4 to P5-7 and restore power but the blower never came on and I had no voltage at the blower connector grey to white. Andrew recommended replacing the main harness and main ACU (control) and provided SR#7736198314. I am ordering the main harness and will return with all prescreened parts. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not agitating or spinning. Inspected unit and work area. Ran it through diagnostics and found an F7 E6 (motor fault) error code. I attempted to run the unit and manual diagnostics on agitation and spin. Found the unit not making any noise, indicating that it was attempting to try to agitate or spin. Checked underneath and checked all connectors. Found the agitation cycle immediately start working as a attempted to put the wire harness back in place. Found moving the wire, harness upward would cause the unit to agitate but as soon as the wiring was let down, the unit would stop until the wiring was raised up again. advise the customer that this would indicate a split wire, causing the issue. "Arrived on site to diagnose range that was not running the oven. On arrival found the control was unresponsive, and display blank. Tested and found the elements are all working properly, but control was unresponsive. I checked incoming voltage and found 120v at L1, L2 and also 120v at neutral. Removed power cable and tested voltage and polarity, from wall plug and found proper voltage and unpowered neutral. Found 240v L1 or L2 to neutral, and 120 neutral to ground. Found neutral is getting powered with the power cable attached. I replaced the control since it seemed the K4 relay was stuck open powering the neutral. No change found. Either new control is bad, or there is a short somewhere in the harness. Ordering a new control and harness to rule out possibility of failure from unit. Arrived onsite for refrigerator which had been previously serviced for power cycling on its own. Now experiencing high temperatures and spoiling food. Unit had been off and was turned on to cool 6 hrs before service arrival. Unit temps on first open were 28f in the air tower RC and 11f in the FC drawer. Cabinet thermistor reading in the 50s f with doors having been opened RC evap thermistor reading 11f even with doors open in diagnostics. Coldest temp registered at 28f in the air tower. And 34f under the evap. Possible out of range evap thermistor causing not cooling long enough. Advised customer that to provide a rounded assessment with comprehensive solution we will need to establish a longer data log. Customer will leave fridge on and use non perishable drinks to help hold normal cooling conditions.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/ microwave combo unit error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F8E0 & F1E1. Tested the fan and I could hear a rattling noise in the beginning of operation but the noise faded out. Following the tech sheet, I was going to remove and replace the main oven control and blower assembly; however, when I went to pull the unit out of the cabinets, i removed the vent and vent trim and found both damaged and the vent fell apart in my hands when I removed it. I found the unit was installed incorrectly and the cabinets were not cut to installation instructions and I could not get the unit out of the cabinets due to the base board not sitting flush with the cabinet trim at the front of the unit causing the leveling feet to not clear the cabinet trim (photos). I advised the customer of my findings and recommended they contact their builder and have them make the unit available for repair. I demonstrated for the customer showing them that the cabinets were not cut the correct size for this unit and the unit was basically shoved into the space causing damage to the unit (photo). "For a refrigerator that is not dispensing water well and is leaking out of the filter housing. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was gushing water all over her floor when she attempted to remove the filter and that they were able to get the filter back in to stop it, but they were having issues with that as well as issues with her icemaker, overfilling and leaking water inside of the freezer section. I removed the filter from the filter, housing and found water gushing out of the filter housing indicating a bad filter housing. Spoke to CS due to inability to find the water shut off valve for the refrigerator and house. I was advised that because of the built-in refrigerator, the unit would require at least two hours to get the unit removed from the wall and to gain access to all pertinent parts. Was advised to order a water pressure tester as well due to a potential issue with water pressure in their home. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator RC not cooling.on inspection found the FC evap was completely in closed with ice. On further inspection found that the moulin was setting back 1/4inch from the frame of the unit causing a gap in the gasket. It is creating a air flow and freezing the evap up, called talked with WP tech line and they are sending the case to engineering. Upon further inspection, I found that when the unit was installed, the unit wasnt leveled correctly and the right side upper corner of the door was rubbing on the tub when closing the door. I leveled the unit and placed it in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that shut itself off again. On arrival the customer stated it was working at this time but it had completely shut off for almost 24 hours this time before turning itself back on. I called techline and spoke with Chris SR# 7736191002 explaining that the unit had shut off for almost 36 hours the first time and explained what the customer said it did this time. I explained the customer did confirm that the unit had power at the outlet when this happened. I also told Chris the customer had concerns about how hot the side was getting at times and Chris stated the condenser lines are in the side wall of this unit and it can get very warm depending on how long the compressor had been running when you touch the side of the unit. Chris stated to go head and replace the main control and filter harness but didnt feel like the UI would cause a complete shut down. I replaced both parts and tested the machine. The unit is working as designed at this time. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and installed the previously ordered rc fan moisture kit. Unit fan is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. All checks good.

Arrived on site for both sections temps higher than normal. Found evap covered in frost . Defrosted freezer and found brown wire on defrost heater harness had pulled out of connection . "Arrived onsite for washer leaking. Talking with the customer she said it was the front left corner where the leak was. Gain access to the dispenser and found water marks on the frame of the washer. There is a SP for issues on the dispenser, I installed a new dispenser and tested the unit. The unit is operating as designed and there was no water leaks detected during service."

"Arrived onsite for cooktop not igniting. On inspection the front right takes a few clicks to ignite. The customer showed me that she accidentally bumped the knob and it turn the gas on without igniting the burner, she said it happen one time that the knob was turn on without igniting and if she had not come back into the house to grab something she forgot the gas would have filled the house up with gas. She is worried that it could happen again. Informed customer that she could call and talk to the wp customer care about the issue."

Arrived on site for a dryer that is making sounds during operation. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and disassembled the unit. Found a screw and a nail stuck in the felt liner on the front panel causing the issue. Removed the obstructions and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not draining. Inspected unit in work area. Found the washer on the front porch. Move the washer to an area with an electrical supply and added water hoses to a splitter off the garden hose to test the unit. Did confirm that the customer could not drain the unit after filling the unit with water. Drain the water out of the unit manually and check the drain pump. Found a nail stuck in the drain pump assembly, causing the issue. Due to how long the unit continue to drain and potential issues with stripping the impeller, went ahead and replaced the drain pump. Tested the unit and the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for an oven. That is not heating properly. Inspected unit and work area. Found the element completely broken. Replaced the bake element and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is slow making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint but found the ice been completely full of ice. The customer advised that the unit seem to take several days in order for it to run through. Did explain to the customer that this is normal operation due to a low production icemaker. The customer also complained about the leveling of her refrigerator. Went ahead and leveled out her refrigerator. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Kuid508hps01 Arrived to inspect leak. I found the drain may have not been fully inserted into the floor drain and I corrected and tested. The supply line to the fill valve had a very slight drip and I elected to replace the line. I found the internal circulation pump inoperative and after replacing, the unit resumed all normal functions. No leaks observed after completion of service and during testing."

"WRS588FIHB04 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I installed the FC cover and ice bucket parts and tested. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"ART308FFDM10 Arrived to inspect RC too cold. The customer advised me that since the last repair, there has been no change in items freezing and the issue has not resolved. I tested RC temperate and found it at 20?F in the lower section and 26? in the upper. FC was 5?. The chassis was still sitting in the black plastic shipping trays that come with the carton, but they were not contacting the door, nor able to prevent it from fully closing. Measuring the thermistor and also against a replacement, I found that it was only .01 ohms, equaling approximately 1/2 of a degree in difference and not the cause of the issue. Thermistor reference voltage from the control was 4.96VDC. Testing from the control showed an expected resistance with the thermistor reinstalled and I elected to install the replacement. I removed and replaced the control and tested. During final testing, I found excessive gapping of the FC chamber to outer panel at the door opening. The top left corner showed gapping of 1/4 inch and the rest was around 1/8th. I was able to inject MFG approved sealant around the top and sides, sealing all affected areas permanently. Operational test good, no water connections to unit."

I discussed the new type of burner with the customer and advised the cycling off shortly after initially turning red, is normal for this type. The customer understood the issue and will attempt different cooking strategies. The knob issue was due to the knob friction clips not being installed on prior service. Arrived onsite for a dryer that has no power. Upon inspection I found that the power cable was not connected properly to the terminal block I corrected this and tested unit and found unit operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for a MW that is venting the air back into the house. Upon inspection I found that the vent duct was not aligned properly I corrected this and tested the unit and found that the airflow improved. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a DW that is no longer drying the dishes. Upon inspection I found that the heater was showing open. I replaced the heater and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed no leaks.

Arrived onsite for built in microwave console issues. Console is giving error code. On arrival tested unit and found console immediately errors out. Power cycled unit to reset and reload software. Powered unit but again had immediately errored. Replaced console and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Upon inspection I found a good frost protection and everything working but the evaporator fan. Upon further inspection I found a foreign object stuck in the fan blade remove the object functionality returns to the evaporator fan

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed right side adjuster height selector. Replaced one adjuster body and right side selector and one retainer. Unit is now operating as designed.
