"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not venting properly. Upon further inspection, the customer pointed out a large amount of lint built up behind the washer/dryer near the dryer vent tube. I found the vent tube at the back of the dryer had come loose and lint was escaping into the laundry room. I adjusted the tube and tightened the clamp and tested airflow to the unit using my vent test kit. The unit vent test passed as its getting good airflow. Lint was cleaned up from behind the unit. I recommended that the customer have their center checked/cleaned at least once per year depending on use fo the unit. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a wash machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected) error code. Tested both valves and the drain and found it working properly. I did find the cold water valve pulling in a little less than optimal water when it was trying to fill. Did notice the drain pipe at the back wall was also a little high then the installation guide would have it. Replaced water valve and tested the unit. Found the cold water valve was pulling in more water. I advised the customer that the water valve would be the only thing causing that error code on the unit if the issue was with the unit itself. I did inform her that her high drain for potential loading could cause that issue if she has anything that soaks up a lot of water during a rinse cycle. We?re in the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the freezer door not opening up prior to the last service. Upon further inspection I found the rails iced up causing friction and making it difficult to open the freezer door. Once the ice was cleared the door opened and closed as designed. I put my flashlight in the freezer and inspected the gasket for any leaks. I found none. The ice most likely came from the condensation of steaming out all of the ice from the prior visit.Call complete.

"Arrived on site for customer wanting both gaskets replaced on the RC doors, found gaskets are still sealing and no condensation in the RC. Customer had gaskets, but not the self tapping screws pn WP8281206, we would need 16 screws, but with no condensation I recommended to customer that we dont replace the gaskets at this time. Customer will call us back if the gaskets get to the point where they are not sealing and well have to order the screws prior to service.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator cooling at 44? on customer thermometer. Measured temperature in top front of RC at 40.4?. Inspected unit and work area. Found door gasket sealing. Performed diagnostics mode and tested RC thermistor and found reading 35? and evaporator thermistor at 31?. Tested evaporator fan and found air flowing from air tower. Gained access to control board and measured resistance on evaporator thermistor and RC thermistor. Placed thermal K in bottom rear of RC. Found RC thermistor at 6.87 k ohms and evaporator thermistor at 11.82 k ohms. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Andrew. Went over service performed and he stated unit is cooling as designed (sr# 7732154186). All tested good, no water leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site to diagnose ice maker not dispensing or making ice properly, upon arriving I found the ice maker was turned off, the customer informed me that they turned the unit off due to spillover on the inside of the ice maker, i gained access and found ice formed together and ice beneath the tray building up. I removed the ice and removed the ice maker, I found that the fill tube funnel was completely iced over due to insulation blocking the bottom where it empties into the ice maker, I removed all of the ice and and blockage and now the unit is operating properly as designed, the fill completed as well as the harvest cycle. "Arrived on site for an ice machine making thin ice. Upon arrival the ice bin was full of ice, but the customer stated the ice was about half as thick as it usually is. I activated all loads and found them running as designed. The ice thickness was at 6 blinks, which indicates thick ice. I drained the reservoir and let it fill again in a normal harvest. I found it not filling as high as it should and a little over half an inch to low. The valve is working as designed and the water flow is good. This indicates a faulty water level sensor. I installed the new sensor and tested each load again. All were working as designed. I let the reservoir fill on its on in a harvest, and found it now reaching the proper water level. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete"
