Arrived onsite and found breaker tripped. Reset and tested. Oven began to heat and tripped breaker again. Found unit is on an arc-fault breaker. Advised customer that breaker is not compatible with oven design and their may be a wiring issue. Advised that breaker must be made compatible prior to any repairs being viable.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling in RC. Upon inspection I found the RC at 65 and FC at -10 I found frost forming on the ceiling above the ice bin and some on the evaporator cover. I called techline to document. I found the ice chute has a gap in the liner where it looks like a piece was not snapped in at the factory or the insulation had created a cavity techline advised attempting to seal this gap. I sealed with permagum and exposed the evaporator. I found the right side has a block of ice blocking then returns most likely due to the air leak in the ice chute. I installed a new evap motor due to it already being approved and customer stating it was the part that they had been waiting for. I steamed out all the ice from that side and cleared the return vent. I advised the customer that if the issue persists than the next step would most likely be a new door. SR#7731867545. No active leaks detected. Job complete.

Arrived on site for FASTNER FOR TOE PLATE IS DEFECTIVE-DISHWASHER ISN'T FLUSH IN THE SPACE IT'S IN. Found dishwasher legs adjusted down too far making the bottom of the dishwasher stick out further than the top. Adjusted legs up to allow dishwasher to sit more even. Explained to customer how a raised pitch is important to prevent the top rack from sliding out when door is opened. After adjusting legs we tested the top rack and it didnt slide forward. Ran diagnostics to ensure dishwasher is running as designed. No error codes came on. Dishwasher completed all cycles and heated. Installed new retainers on kick plate. No leaks detected. Job completed.

Arrived onsite for unit still Tripping the breaker. Currently said that it would trip the breaker when either he was using the oven or using the cook top. Called tech line. Let them know of all things customers complaint was about and let them know all that was replaced. said to remove the metal strap that goes between the neutral and ground wire as it could cause the tripping the breaker issues. Said to test the unit and if the unit shuts off to check the breaker and feel if it?s getting hot under a load and if it is the issue then the breaker could be breaking down and customer needs an electrician to fix the power on the house side. Got Sr#7731866976. Took off the metal strap from the terminal block. Tested the unit up to 350. Unit got up to temperature with no problem and stayed on. Went outside to check the breaker and felt that it was getting a bit warm. Let customer know that there may be an issue with the breaker and an electrician will need to be called out to fix the breaker or the plug. No issues at this time. Job complete

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with dented right side RC door. Upon arrival I confirmed the complaint and replaced the door. The customer brought to my attention that the left side handle is loose. I found the screw that secures the handle to the door has stripped out the outer shell so the door will need to be replaced. Advised customer on timeframe. "Arrived on site and inspected washer lid lock issues. Confirmed the complaint and found both the latch and strike were both defective causing the malfunction. Removed and replaced both and during the next diagnostics cycle the unit failed to start and kept flashing back to the previous screen when I attempted diagnostics cycle. The unit also never engaged full to preform a spin cycle. The wash plate was the only thing spinning, not the basket. Unit flashed F6 E3 communication error ACU cannot hear MCU. Arrived on site for a dishwasher that?s still having issues washing dishes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will run one to several cycles every time they reset it but they end up with an error code of an F4 E3 (wash motor not running). Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any sort of error codes. Attempted to run a normal wash cycle and found the unit filling and washing. Checked resistance through the wash motor and found it within range. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7731872899.He advised me to run a diagnostic auto test to see if the unit errored out any codes due to a potential possibility of the unit having a separate issue. He also asked me to wiggle the wires as the unit was washing in the cycle. I did both and the unit did not error out or have any issues within the diagnostic test. The phone was disconnected so I called back and spoke to Travis SR# 7731872899. He advised that the issue could be a communication issue but advised to replace the wash pump motor and control at the same time.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher tripping breaker. Upon inspection I found no error codes stored on the unit. I took off the toe kick and found what looked like water stains on the insulation. I noticed the dispenser was not fully sealed and there is a gap on the right corner closest to the door handle. I took off the outer panel and found evidence of a leak at the dispenser and one of the screws that secure the dispenser is missing. We put the unit into diagnostics and found fault codes fae2 vent wax motor fault, and F9e1 product not draining. We put the unit into a diagnostics cycle and it completed the cycle. I found an excess of suds in the tub of the unit after a diagnostics cycle. I called techline and spoke to Chris. I advised him of my findings.he advised to have the Customer cut back the soap even more after since they are on a water softener. I tested the drain pump multiple times and found it working as designed every time. I inspected the drain hoses and found the installed properly and with no kinks. Chris advised there is no parts needing to be replaced today. I advised the customer about soap usage and to not use any high concentration soap. Job complete."

Arrived on site for FRIDGE DOOR IS NOT SEALING PROPERLY. Inspected hinges and cams and they are all operating as designed. Found fridge door would not close because the gasket will not seat into trim of door. You can hear the gasket rubbing against fridge exterior as it tries to seal. Found expanding foam along trim where gasket seats. Attempted to remove the gasket to reseat but it was lodged inside the gap trim tightly. Pulled the unit out and found the compressor and condenser fan not functioning. Tested amp draw to the compressor and found none. I inspected the compressor inverter board and found it had shorted/burnt out. Checked the compressor windings and all are within range. Checked continuity to the condenser fan and while doing so, I found one the connectors bent and not making good contact with the harness. I adjusted the connector and installed a new inverter board and tested the unit in diagnostics step 4. Unit is operating as designed. Once out of diagnostics and operating, the unit is beginning to cool as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. Found both fridge and freezer temperature is at 77?F. Checked the evaporator and found no frost pattern. Found the compressor running but it only pulling .127 A. Unit will need sealed system repair for repair. Arrived on site for range causing oven to heat incorrectly. Upon arrival customer had unit running and trying to heat right side oven. After further testing I found after 10 minutes that unit was exceeding 400 degrees and not lowering even when set to 350. I found oven temp sensor had failed. Replaced sensor reassembled and tested unit and found it functioning as designed. Call complete

"Arrived on site for a while oven that is not completely preheating on either oven. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit would not make it to the preset temperatures and would eventually error out and shut off in an idle state. Around the unit through diagnostics and found an F6 E1 (over temperature during cooking) error code. Tested all bake and broiling elements to make sure that none of them were running when the unit was idle as well as making sure they all turned on. I?ll bake and broil elements were working as designed. Round the unit through it up bake cycle on both ovens at 350?F. Both reach 350?F and stayed there for over seven minutes. The customer requested that I test her broiling functions as well to make sure the unit didn?t error out. Tested both broil elements at 5:50 for 10 minutes. The unit ran as designed with no error codes present. Spoke to SW and was advised that at this time since we could not replicate the issue do not proceed with the repair but that if other issues were present, the most likely scenario would be with the main board and/or sensors.

"On site for dryer not closing properly. Customer stated that door will pop open after starting cycle, so they have to prop it shut. Confirmed complaint. Replaced catch and strike. Unit was still popping open. Found door hinges slightly bent and door frame not aligned causing door to not close properly. Ordering hinges, springs, inner and outer door. Office to reschedule. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not going properly it is tingling clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (UI stuck key), F0 E5 (off balance load), and F0 E9 (off balance pause) error codes. I ran the unit through a manual high speed spin, tested all the valves, and around the unit through a diagnostic cycle. All tests ran as designed. I tested the unit in a normal wash cycle and noticed the customer using the extra power function of the unit. I did ask the customer if they consistently use that extra power function and she advised that she was not aware of whether she did or not. I did explain to her about the service pointer talking about low water levels of the beginning of the cycle when it agitates and that water is constantly being filled into the unit throughout the cycle. Whenever user guide in the unit is working as designed. Call Complete."

"On site for range not heating and display not lighting up. Found control not powering on and not sending power to bake or broil. Replaced control. Control board now functioning, bake and broil turning on. Unit functioning as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the ice maker not working. I gained access to IM in the FC. Upon further inspection I found there was significant frost build up in the freezer. I found that the door had not been closing all the way due to how the IM scoop was set in the ice box. I advised the customer on this and how to properly put the scoop onto its holder. I jumped the IM and nothing happened. I checked voltage to the IM and found it good. I then jumped the fill and found it still not filling, and the fill tube was not frozen. This indicates a bad valve. I could not test the filter head due to the customer not having the filter bypass. Due to this I am ordering the valve and filter head for the repair. We will need to install the valve first and test the unit. The filter head was ordered to be sure we will not have to make another trip in case it was needed. We are also bringing back the IM to install, for the one installed on the last visit is bad. The customer kept the prior quote for the valve and no fee was collected today due to being a call back. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and found the right rear burner switch not functioning properly. I had the customer sign the waiver of damages from lifting glass cooktop. I removed the glass cooktop and inspected the switches and found the right rear switch housing broken and not allowing the switch to make good contact. I removed and replaced the switch and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found operator fan is running but there is no power being sent to compressor for condenser fan. Confirmed with SW that control board is not sending power. A new control board will be needed to correct the issue. ordrng 1 WPW10589838 (Control)"
