"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not making ice. Upon further inspection, I find the ice maker with ice in the tray and the harness appeared to be plugged in. I found this harness not fully plugged in. Once I pressed down on the connector, the ice maker began to harvest. I found the clips on the connector were rounded off and not securing the connector. I removed and replaced the ice maker and tested and unit is operating as designed. Ice maker covered under AEX 1 yr warranty. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I tested the unit on potato and approximately 30 seconds into cooking, the unit stopped and showed error code F4E4. Following the tech sheet, I measured ohms to the humidity sensor and found it out of range. I removed and replaced the sensor and retested and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived to inspect non-completion of cycle. I found the unit would rotate, but after allowing it to spin for a few minutes a moderate squeal could be heard coming from the bearing assembly. The unit had sat for a time and I assume that there had been moisture within the bearings and corrosion had started during storage. I allowed the unit to spin in service test mode for a few minutes to attempt to distribute lubricant and advised the CX on my findings. Due to cost of rebuilding the unit, they will replace vs repair. No leaks observed during service.

I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F8E1 for no water detected, F5E2 for door lock error, and F1E2 for MCU multiple resets. I cleared the error codes, I then activated the valves and found the unit aggressively leaking from the bottom. I gained access to the bottom and found the counter weight had broken off and ripped off a large piece of the tub with it. This was allowing the water to drain directly out of the basket onto the floor

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the ice maker not working, the gaskets being bad, and the unit not cooling properly. I checked temps and found the FC at 30?F and the RC at 50?F. Upon further inspection I found both gaskets torn and condensation around the FC door. I found the RC so badly warped and torn that it was not sealing properly and creating large gaps. I also found the FC fan not running. In order to repair the unit it will need a new FC fan motor and both gaskets. I found all three parts unavailable. I informed the customer on my findings.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher not draining and having a burn smell. On arrival he tub was full of water. I held cancel to put it on a manual drain. I found a faint hum from the drain pump, but the unit wasnt draining. I then checked voltage going to the drain pump and found a good 120VAC. This indicates a faulty drain pump. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F8E2 for drain motor not running, F10E1 for dispenser electrical problem, and F6E2 for fill valve electrical problem. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit will fill until it overflows, the dispenser was not working, and the drain did not function. I gained access to the control and found the fan leaking and water got into the control area. Upon further inspection I found a burnout on the harness. In order to repair the unit it will need a new drain, dispenser, float switch, vent, and harness.

"Arrived on site for a while oven that is steel glitching on the user interface when the oven door is opened intermittently. The customer advised that it only happens on high moisture items and still happens erratically but it can cause the unit not to be able to function for an hour. Inspected the gasket and found the gasket working as designed. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran a test on both upper and lower fans and found both working as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to JR SR# 7734142825. He advised that if the blowers are working functionally and the gasket is aligned properly, there are no modifications that can be done to the unit and the customer will need to cover any food that has high moisture content. He said the steam will cause the UI to glitch a bit as if buttons are being pressed due to the heat sensors in the UI and will cease once the UI dries. He advised this is how the unit is designed and to make no further repairs. Call complete."

I ran a harvest test and found the icemaker working but no ice in the mold. I ran the full test and heard the fill valve humming but no water entering the icemaker. I found the tip of the fill tube stopped up with ice from the valve weeping. I replaced the valve. Unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had the unit unplugged but did mention that she was getting a clicking sound coming from the unit. Upon plug in the unit in, found the compressor sounding labored and then kick off causing the clicking sound. Took an amp draw off the compressor and found it pulling 9.68 A. Replaced restart device with a truck stock start device and found the unit doing the same thing. The unit will need a sealed system repair to fix the unit. Spoke to Jaycee and was advised the office will order all necessary parts for the compressor and drier replacement. The office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability and please schedule the service for three hours due to R600 unit.; O-emld tckt"
