I put the unit into a diagnostics cycle and found the sump and motor assembly is operating properly as designed but the drain pump is intermittent, I replaced the drain pump and found that broken glass had seized the drain pump, I tested the unit with the new drain pump and found the unit is operating properly as designed with no leaks observed.job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator door not closing and shelves not aligned. Upon further inspection, the customer pointed out that the lower drawer in the RC section was not closing properly. Also advised that the crisper pans are not closing properly. I tested the lower pan and found it to not be seating correctly on the rails. I could not determine if the pan is warped or not. I tested the crisper pans and found that when removed, they have to be aligned onto the rails correctly or they will hang on the rails and not close properly. I demonstrated to my customer how to properly install them after removing them to clean. "Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making a grinding and squealing sound. Inspected unit and work area. Placed the unit and serviced diagnostics and tested the spin function. Found the splutch assembly completely grinding on itself immediately and not getting the basket. The customer advised that the unit also is making a squealing noise prior to the grinding sound. Its on the basket by hand and found the unit skipping as if that one of the bearings on the transmission was bad. Check Internet the unit and confirmed that the unit had lost oil underneath. I also found that the belt has been stripped due to the splutch assembly . Replaced the gear case, splutch assembly, and belt and tested the unit. The unit began to work as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with frost in the freezer section. Upon further inspection, I found the left side of,the FC door gapped approximately 1/8 inch at the gasket. I opened the FC door and found frost built up on the top of FC section, on the drawers, the rails and the door. I closed the FC door and it sealed on all four sides. I tested the door several times by opening and closing the door and holding the door handle in the middle and every time, the door closed and sealed on all four sides. Due to the amount of ice/frost on the slides, I removed and replaced the slides and retested and the door continues to close as designed. I explained the customer that the door must be opened and closed by holding the handle in the middle and demonstrated what happens when the door is not opened from the middle. Customer was not happy with the unit; therefore, I contacted Whirlpool techline and spoke to Travis and advised of the complaint and my findings. Travis advised that the door must be opened from holding the middle of the door handle or it will open at an angle and sometimes will not close properly allowing warm air inside the unit and frost will build up. I advised Travis that I was replacing the slides due to the ice/frost build up on them and causing the grease to harden and make the door difficult to close. Travis provided SR#7732286887. I advised the customer of my conversation with tech support and provided them with the SR# file number and recommended that they contact Whirlpool customer service if they have any further issues with the freezer door. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=6 degrees and RC=38 degrees. I pulled the unit out and tested amp draw to the compressor and it is showing 1.06amps. I inspected the lokring at the back of the unit and they were sealed and dry. Replaced the compressor, dryer, and coupler. Vacuumed down the unit and the unit held pressure. Charge the unit and found pressures sitting at 145 psi on the high side and zero psi on the low side. Arrived on site for an oven that has a rag that I am mobile. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she has tried to fix for rack but it does not seem to get unstuck. Confirm the customers complain and found the bottom rack in the upper oven was leaning to the back. Lift it up on the front to be able to slide the rack Ford and re-engaged in place. The rack began to sit level. Went over rack removal and positioning with the customer. Also and swerved a couple of questions from the customer. The unit is working as designed . Call complete.

"Arrived on site for range not heating correctly in oven and cooktop burner light staying on when unit not in use. Upon arrival confirmed complaint and found no errors in diagnostics, but found following tests results on hardware: Bake: 21.3ohms, broil: 18.6 ohms, sensor 1.074 kohms. After further tests I found sensor not functioning correctly during preheat. Replaced sensor and retested oven. Found unit preheating to 350 within manufacturing specs. ; ordrng 1 WP7403P239-60 (FR inf. Switch)"

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Found the control consul nonresponsive when trying to enter diagnostics. Found the light would flicker when the door was closed or when the door was already closed and you press the cycle select button. Gained access to the control and removed all my loads off the dishwasher besides the power and heater. The unit still would not turn on properly. Spoke to SW and was advised to replace the main control. Replace the main control and the lights began to illuminate on the control panel. Immediately when trying to start a cycle found the unit completely powered off. Checked voltage at the control and found no voltage. Went to the breaker and found the breaker still on. Flipped off the breaker and back on the breaker. Still found no voltage. I checked voltage at the terminal block and found this same issue. I advised the customer that they have an electrical supply issue that may have taken out their prior board. Advised them to contact an electrician to fix their electrical supply issue.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer burning odors. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they used the unit recently and could smell the odor of burning plastic or rubber. I tested the unit and it is operating as designed and I could not smell any unusual odors. I disassembled the unit and found a small amount of lint inside the unit but none that was burnt. I removed and replaced the four rollers, tension pulley and belt and cleaned the roller axles and vacuumed the lint from the unit. Reassembled the unit and when I went to plug the unit in to test, I found one of their terminals on the power cord burnt and the outlet melted where the terminal connects. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling in RC compartment, dripping and ice buildup. Upon arrival unit was unplugged. Powered unit and compressor and condenser fan kicked on. Compressor running at 1.3 amps. FC fan is energizing when switch is closed. Could not hear RC fan running. Ran diagnostics and found multiple error codes. Spoke with SW and unit has had multiple failures. Will need to order Main board and UI. Will return with parts. Will need parts research on UI and control board for availability.; ordrng 1 WR13X10856 (Evaporator fan motor assembly) and 1 WR55X10998 (Main board) and 1 WR13X10841 (UI panel)"

Arrived on site for fridge over cooling in rc section. I gained access to the damper and tested it.mi found the damper not closing all the way cause air from the freezer to leak through. I replaced the damper and tested it. It is now working as designed job complete

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and could hear something clanking inside the drum as it turned. I found one the drum baffles loose. I removed the baffle and found lint debris inside and cleaned it out. Inspected the two remaining baffles and cleaned them out as well. I tightened the baffles when reinstalling. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for fridge tempeture not cooling at all. Temps were 58 in fridge and 34 in freezer. Tested thermistor from control and it was in range. Tested Heater and voltage was very low. Placed in forced defrost and ice sizzled but it took a couple minutes and didnt seem to be heating up and sizzling like Im use to hearing and heating. Removed ice build up from evaporator cover and gained access to the heater. Heater tested open. Ordering defrost heater W11546981 to return and complete the repair. Returning with all parts ; ordrng 1 W11546981 (Defrost Heater)

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival tested unit. Unit is not completely hot in the box. Compressor is running and does have frost pattern. Found that evaporator fan motor assembly is not functioning.
