On arrival checked RC temps and found temp at37, within proper limits. Checked for ice buildup in return vent and found no ice buildup. Checked temp in crisper drawer to compare. Found temp at 46 and dropping. No evidence of freezer losing temps. Called and spoke with tech line, SR7731106952. Crisper is the slowest to cool, so this is not completely abnormal. Parts are all working as designed and no failures have been observed at this time. Advised customer on making sure airflow channels are opened on shelves, this should allow cooling to be even and proper. Unplugged unit and reset. Advised customer to follow up if anything else is out of the ordinary. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for refrigerator losing cool in the RC. Upon inspection I found the RC at room temp and the FC evaporator cover had a wall of frost on it.. I accessed diagnostics and ran the defrost heater. It came on as designed. I found the defrost sensor is showing open or shorted according to diagnostics. I accessed the thermistor and found it at 10.1k ohms. I accessed the main control and found the thermistor showing open. I unplugged the harness and ohmed back. It showed open. I then plugged the harness back in and checked resistance again for the thermistor. This time it showed 7.6k ohms. I checked the thermistor again and it showed 7.6 with some of the ice melting around it. I replaced the main control JIC it was not communicating correctly. I steamed out all the ice on the evaporator and secured the thermistor. I advised the customer to monitor the unit over the next few days to ensure it restores to proper temps. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

I called and spoke to Asurion tech line and was advised by their rep that the unit will cycle elements and convect fan, and it will cause the upper rack to get hotter. I confirmed the issue with whirlpool tech line as well. Bake cycle utilizes both elements and the convect. WP tech line says racks 1-3 are recommended for use when baking, but racks in positions 4-6, closer to broil will cause temps to be hotter on the top items. No fault found with unit. Advised customer on response from reps and advised on cooking on lower racks only. Call complete."

The customer was also worried about product in their RC freezing by the air baffle. I advised the customer on how the airflow there comes directly from the freezer and can freeze things in that area of the fridge. The bottom section of the gasket is drooping down. The fridge is getting a good seal, but over time the drooping and gaps will only get worse. Tried using my heat gun to get it to seal, but it wouldnt change shape due to the damaged sleeve that the gasket sits in. Per previous techs diagnosis, I was to remove and replace the condenser coil, but once I removed the back cover, I found where the refrigerant leaked out from the unit. I found that the lokring on the line just behind the condenser fan had leaked. I removed the lokring and made a sleeve from copper tubing and made a joint for the lines to join. Removed and replaced the UV dye drier and vacuumed the system. Pressures held good. I installed 4.5oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures and my welds. Unit held pressure good and no leaks found on the new welds. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Condenser coil not needed at this time."

When microwave blower turns on when the start button is pressed you can hear the damper opening and making contact with the metal vent box in the cabinet above the microwave. This is the metal box that vents air out of the microwave to the exterior of the home. Customer was relieved to know there wasnt anything wrong with the microwave itself. No repair needed. Arrived onsite for dryer tripping breaker. Upon inspection I found the power cord at the terminal block had a thermal event and burned some of the wires in half. Arrived onsite for refrigerator with broken parts related to the ice maker. Upon inspection I found the FC ice maker was not screwed in and was hanging down into the bin. I secured the ice maker and it filled while onsite. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher not draining. Upon arrival the tub was full of water. I pressed the drain button on the unit and it instantly started leaking from the bottom. I stopped the drain and then vacuumed up all of the water. I gained access to the unit and put it into diagnostics mode. I found stored error codes F6E4 for float switch open, F2E1 for stuck key, and F8E2 for drain motor electrical problem. I then ran a test cycle and found the unit did not drain. I checked voltage to the drain pump and found the correct 120VAC. This indicates a faulty drain pump. I replaced the drain pump and then tested the unit again. The drain was now functioning as designed. I gained access to the float switch and ohmd it out. The switch is working as designed. However, I found a leak coming from the float switch assembly. Upon further inspection I found the dispenser physically broken, the sump screen melted, and the right hand upper track assembly broken (the stopper is not staying on and can only be replaced by ordering entire track, you can take the stopper off of the new track to just replace that). Due to this I am ordering the float assembly, upper track, dispenser, and screen to replace. I gained access to the ice maker and tested it and verified it goes through a cycle, I could not get water to fill, I checked the fill tube and found it is not frozen, I gained access to the inlet valve and reservoir and found that the reservoir is not frozen and the valve is intermittently operating.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer that is not even with washer placement. Due to vent location on wall dryer cannot be pushed further back without damaging vent and causing airflow issues.

Arrived onsite for the water paddle looking like it?s delaminating. Looked at the water paddle and noticed that it was the sticker peel that was never taken off the paddle. Removed the sticker. No issues at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site to test unit for no ice production. Found door harness was damaged upon further inspection found door harness has broken wires. Needing FC door in stainless to fix issue. Need autho. Office to reschedule.; ordrng 1 LW10651576 (Door)

Arrived onsite for vent hood with light out and hanging grease filter. Upon arrival I confirmed the complaint. I found the filter damaged and hanging down.I replaced the bulb and the unit lit as designed. I am ordering the filter to be shipped direct to customer. ; ordrng 1 W11177751D2C (Filter)

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and did not find any saved error codes, customer is experiencing unbalanced loads and discussed correct loading procedure, and detergent usage to prevent this. Replaced actuator, Washer is operating as intended, job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I opened the door and closed the door switch and turned the unit on. I did not see the heating element illuminate in the back left vent area. Using the vent test kit provided for today, I tested the airflow in the unit and it failed (photo). Removed the back panel and tested the element, cutoffs and fuse and found the element was bad. I removed and replaced the element and vacuumed the lint from the back of the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer have the dryer vent checked/cleaned. No lint observed in the unit at the end of service, job completed."
