"Arrived on site for refrigerator that has a freezer door that?s not closing properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that when they pull on the left-hand side of the freezer door, the door comes out at an angle and the only way to correct the door is to push it all the way back. They advised that if they pull from the center or from the right hand side of the unit pulls out straight with no issues. Confirm the customers complaint and replaced both slides and brackets and tested the unit. The unit still did the same thing. I did find on the right hand side adapter had some notches missing in the back that seemed to make the roller on the right side slip when pulling on the left side. I checked the part number to make sure that was correct but all photos of the part showed the same thing. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7731906226. He advised this is normal operation and that if the door opens and closes properly when you pull on the right side or the middle of the door, it is working properly. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the valves running as designed. I also found no error codes. I ran a sensor check and found the soap level sensor reading good. I gained access to the control and found all harnesses in good shape. This indicates a possible flow meter issue. I called techline and spoke to Robert and received SR# 7731900492. Robert agreed that the flow meter should be replaced. I am ordering the part and the office will need to reschedule to install. I will also be ordering the control, for we will need to test the dispenser once installed still. Arrived on site for Cooktop Flames Dont Go Down. Lit all burners and flames are burning as designed. Customer concerned about small burner head wobbling. Explained this was normal to have play to make reattaching the burner head easier. Small head wobbles more than the others but no damage was found and head is centered as designed. Called tech line and spoke to TJ with Whirlpool tech line and he explained the popping and floating flame are both normal. Arrived onsite WHEN THE ICEMAKER IS ON-IT'S SHOOTING WATER ALL OVER THE INSIDE OF THE FREEZER. Inspected unit and work area. Gained access to the ice maker and found that the fill tube was not set in the ice maker properly causing water to spray the inside of freezer. "Arrived on site for ice maker Not Making Ice - Refrigerator. Inspected unit and work area. Check for ice build up on fc evaporator found none. Performed temp test in freezer and found that it wouldnt get down past 26 degrees. Gained access to the back of unit to perform and amp draw test on the compressor and found it pulling .98 amps(too high). Put ice maker though a harvest cycle and found it operating normally. Gained access to the condenser and found some blockage there but not enough to cause the temp to be that high in the freezer. Clean condenser off. All fans work as normal as well.

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that it takes several times to get the washer to start as the power button leant work all the time and the start button doesnt always work. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F5E2. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed. I tested the door switch and it is good. Tested the control panel harness and it is good. Attempted to turn the unit on at the power button and it failed. After several attempts, it finally turned on. The unit would turn on by turning the dial. I removed and replaced the control panel and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Tested the crushed ice and a few pieces of ice came out, but then it sounded as if the motor was jammed. After further inspection, I found the auger was stripped on the motor shaft. I removed and replaced the dispenser motor, divider, auger and washer and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that would not spin. I tried to manually spin the tub, but found it completely bound. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found the gearcase leaking oil. I also found a burnout on the motor itself. Due to this both of these need to be replaced. I informed the customer that sometimes this can cause the tub to be bound and also needing to be rebuilt.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival replaced mag cap and diode as well as both thermistors. Proceeded to test unit and found unit now operating as designed job completed.

"Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling. Customer stated unit would chime intermittently and unit would stop cooling, needs to leave door open for chime to reset and start cooling again. Evap frost pattern was excellent, compressor running as designed. Evap motor and condenser motor operating as designed. Thermistors in range. Found door latch/magnet was not sitting properly in housing causing unit to put itself into a diagnostic or defrost mode intermittently as door catch/magnet was reading open closed intermittently and the right sequence was hitting putting unit into either mode. Secured door catch/magnet and ran diagnostics and got no voltage to element. Element tested good so replaced control. Put into diagnostics and unit is now working as designed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the airflow with my vent test kit and found the unit is not getting good airflow (photo). I pulled the unit out to remove the back cover and I found the vent tube at the back full of lint. I removed the vent hose from the back of the unit and found it full of lint and water. Removed the back cover and found the element coil broken. Inspected the inside of the unit and found it full of lint. I advised the customer of my findings (photos). I removed and replaced the element and cleaned the lint from the unit. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer have someone professionally clean the vents before using the unit. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for refrigerator not making ice. Upon arrival I found the FC=17 RC=45. I inspected the RC evaporator cover and did not see any frost build up. The bottom runs through the cover did not appear to have any frost on them at all. No frost on FC evap cover or bottom runs either. I accessed the compressor area and found the compressor drawing 2.1 amps while running. I found the condenser coil underneath the unit packed with dust. I ran diagnostics on the ice maker and found E2 error code stored. I attempted to cycle the IM via diagnostics but I could not get it to function. I confirmed the ice box fan is running strong, I was able to fill the IM. ; ordrng 1 W11492867 (RC evaporator)"

Arrived onsite for oven not properly installed. Upon arrival spoke with customer on unit ventilation but also found unit cabinets set off and unit sticking out slightly as it cant go all the way back with gasoline and cabinet top not sealed to oven. Took photos to document and let customer know they will want to contact builder to seek fix to issue.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven door issues. Upon further inspection, I found the oven outer door glass trim coming off. I attempted to reattach it with the double stick tape provided, but it continues to pop off. I tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I am ordering the outer door glass SS and per service pointer W10917778, I am ordering the insulation. Office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. Arrived on site for refrigerator not producing ice and clumping up. Inspected unit and work area. Performed diagnostics mode and tested ice maker cycle. Found all cubes did not drop and causing ice maker to over fill. Found ice container cracked. Found ice maker and ice container will need to be replaced.
