Arrived on site to look at model WTW5057LW1 for customer complaint of unit not starting a cycle. I ran full diagnostic test cycle and found found issue with the capacitor. I replaced capacitor and tested unit in diagnostic mode. Unit passed all component tests with no leaks. Part used w11395618

Arrived on site for a washing machine model MVW4505MW2 that is not draining and has lights flashing. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit it is doing the same thing as a year ago, where it wont drain and wont do anything else. They said the unit did drain the water out eventually, but havent used it since. I ran the unit through diagnostics and confirmed the F9 E1 (long deain) error code. I tested the drain pump in diagnostics and was able to get it to run. I shook the machine while it was draining and found it pulling on and off. I gained access underneath and found a wire split on the harness going to the drain pump. I replaced the wire harness W11643701 and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during service. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a washer MVW6230HW0 tripping the breaker. stated that it finishes the cycle and trips after its done. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the convection fan rattling during use, I pulled the unit out onto my floor protector and removed and replaced the fan assembly and fan blades and tested. The unit is operating as designed. Due to the unit not sitting level, using the shims I ordered, I attempted to level the unit on the right side. However, due to a trim piece in between the countertop and unit, I am unable to raise the unit high enough on the right side without possibly causing damage to the trim piece. The left side does not need to be leveled as the unit is sitting flush with the trim on the left side and theres a small gap on the right. Once the unit is sitting level, the unit door should sit more flush on the right side. I demonstrated for the customer how the door will sit once the unit is level and explained that using a long 1/4 inch piece of trim or wood, that will sit under the front and back legs of the unit, should level the unit. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRT311FZDM02 not cooling. Upon further inspection, I found the FC section cold and the RC cool, but not to set temps. I gained access to the evaporator and found another ball of ice in the upper right corner of the cap tube/suction line area. I checked the system for any dye/leaks and found none. I evacuated the system and cleared it with nitrogen. I removed and replaced the evaporator and UV drier. I checked the system for leaks using my nitrogen at 250psi and liquid leak detector. I checked all welds on the evaporator and from previous service repairs and found no leaks. I vacuumed the system down to -30/0 psi and monitored pressures for approximately 15 mins and found my gauges never moved. I installed 47g of R600 refrigerant and allowed the system to equalize. Plugged the unit in and monitored for another 15- 20 mins. I found the evaporator beginning to get a good frost pattern as well. I reassembled the FC section and found the unit continued to cool. I recommended that the customer allow the unit to cool for at least 24 hours before placing their food items inside. No water connections to the unit and no water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11578004, WPW10143759, WPW10384183

Arrived on site to inspect washer model NTW4516FW3 not agitating. Upon further inspection, I placed the machine into diagnostics and observed error code F7E5 shifter problem. I gained access to the underside of the machine and tested the shifter and found that the shifter motor had failed. I also found some wear marks on the splutch teeth. I replaced the actuator and splutch and reassembled calibrated and tested the machine. The machine is now operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. W10721967

Arrived on site to test unit WTW4816FW3 for pump running. Upon arrival customer stated drain pump constantly runs unless power is removed. Applied power, drain pump immediately engaged indicating a pressure system fault. Entered diagnostics and found F3E1 (pressure system fault) error code stored. Per S code S153EB, followed TSP W11766193. Both model and serial number fall within the rework. Cleared error code and reset control, cycled power, drain pump still immediately engages. Inspected pressure hose, found no kinks, punctures or restrictions. Valve is not leaking. Pressure switch on the control has failed. Replaced control (W11603810) and applied power, drain pump no longer immediately engages. Ran a calibration cycle successfully. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that was not cleaning the dishes properly. Placed the unit into diagnostics and found error codes F4E3 and F7E1, both indicating a wash motor issue. Tested the unit and confirmed that the dishwasher was filling with water and the heating element was functioning, but the sump and wash motor were not circulating water. Checked for proper voltage to the sump and motor assembly and confirmed the component was receiving correct power but was not operating. Determined the sump and motor assembly had failed. Replaced the sump and motor assembly and reassembled the unit. Tested the dishwasher through a cycle to verify proper operation. The wash motor is now circulating water correctly and the unit is washing as designed. Checked for any leaks during operation and none were present at this time. Job complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts on a washing machine model WTW4307SW0. Inspected the unit and work area. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. I checked the basket and found the basket was not wobbling on the drive shaft. I gained access underneath the top and found some of the holes in the basket did not seem to be punched through fully. I took a flashlight to the outer tub and checked the basket. I found multiple areas where the basket had not been punched through, causing the off balance issue. Arrived on site for a washing machine model WTW8127LC0 that is not starting cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it had been making some sounds for a little while but finally, it just stopped working. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F7 E4 (basket re-engagement failure) error code. I gained access underneath and found evidence of a gear case oil leak under the machine. It looked like its been this way for a while. I removed the rotor and found the inner gearcase shafts completely rusted to where the slider wouldnt slider off the gearcase. I gained access above and tried to remove the agitator. I found that was rusted as well. Ordering the gearcase W11449841, wash plate W11510461, and spanner nut W11551646, but am returning with the slider for repair. Spoke with customer and customer stated when machine went down, the tub was full of water. Suspecting harness and actuator issue. Proceeded to replace W11481722 actuator and W11643701 harness. Arrived on site for a washing machine model WTW8127LW0 that is not draining and is flashing an F9 E1 (long drain) error code. The customer advised that the machine eventually drained, but they just started having this issue 2 weeks ago. I tested the drain pump in diagnostics and found it drain. I tested it again while shaking the machine and found it consistently draining. I added water into the tub and drained and found a whistle coming from behind the machine. I looked behind the unit and found the unit had a short drain hose that went downhill from the machine into a closed drain, a foot off the ground. See photo. I ran the unit into diagnostics and found an F9 E1 (long drain), F0 E9 (off balance pause), F0 E5 (off balance load), and F8 E1 (long fill) error codes. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was good. I checked the basket and found the basket properly secured to the drive shaft. I ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found everything working until it went to drain. I heard the whistle again for 4 seconds, and then it stopped. I found the drain pump still running but found no water movement inside or outside of the machine. I unplugged the machine and removed the drain hose from the closed drain. I used a bucket the customer had on hand to attempt another drain without the wall drain and found the machine drained properly into the bucket. I checked the drain at the wall and found it was still full of water at the top. I advised the customer that their draining system within the home is the issue but advised that they need to have their drain updated to ensure proper installation. I advised that the lack of draining would cause off balance issues when it went to spin and could create error codes that would shut the machine down. I went over installation instructions for the drain requirements, and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed, and no leaks were present during service.

Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRX988SIBM01 not cooling. Upon further inspection, I found the interior lights on telling me the unit is getting 120V. Both compartments were room temp, so I pulled the unit out to gain access to the compressor and main controls at the back of the unit. Once I had the unit pulled out, I could hear the 3 way valve attempting to cycle. I tested incoming and outgoing voltage at the power board and got 123V coming in and going out. I tested the inverter board DC voltage at the hv control at the P8-7 to P8-8 and found 6VDC. I removed and replaced the inverter board and retested the unit and the compressor and condenser fan turned on and the unit is beginning to cool. The customer advised that the ice maker stopped working before the unit stopped cooling. When I went to test the ice maker in test 56, I found the UI missing digits. I was unable to read the digits on the UI panel and when I went to replace the UI with the control kit, I found the kit was missing the UI panel, but had the hv control. I am ordering the control kit and CNOTE-INSPECT KIT BEFORE SCHEDULING. Also, Im ordering the ice maker as a backup. Unit is currently cooling properly and no water leaks observed during service. I found snow cone textured ice inside the door chute, and the ice door separator had mold and mildew, not sealing properly, and causing the ice buildup to block the ice from being dispensed. Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that was not cleaning dishes properly. Began by running the unit through a test cycle to verify the customers complaint. During testing, observed that the dishwasher was not draining correctly, which was leaving dirty water inside the tub and affecting wash performance. Continued diagnosis and also found that the heating element was not operating, preventing the unit from properly heating the water and assisting with drying. In addition, the detergent dispenser was not opening during the wash cycle, which prevented detergent from being released at the proper time. Based on testing, replaced the drain motor, heating element, and detergent dispenser assembly. After completing the repairs, ran the dishwasher through a full test cycle to verify proper operation. The unit filled, washed, heated, and drained correctly, and the dispenser opened as designed during the cycle. Checked the unit for leaks after the repair and no leaks were present at this time. Arrived on site to diagnose a dryer with a display that was not working. Inspected the control panel and tested the unit. Found condensation present inside the display, which prevented the numbers and indicators from appearing on the screen. Removed the defective console assembly and replaced it with a new console. Arrived on site to diagnose a microwave that was reported to be sparking during operation. Tested the unit and confirmed the issue. After further inspection of the high-voltage system, found the magnetron, capacitor, and diode had shorted out, which was causing the sparking condition. Due to the nature of the failure, contacted the safety department to report the findings and receive further instructions. Safety reviewed the diagnosis and approved a concession to replace the magnetron, capacitor, and diode. Replaced all three high-voltage components and reassembled the unit. Tested the microwave multiple times with a cup of water to ensure proper operation. The unit is now heating correctly and no sparking is present. Unit tested good. Job complete

Entered service mode and initiated a test cycle; when the valve energized water began to spray but the spray pattern was no longer a cone. Inspected nozzle and found calcium deposits redirecting water directly onto the door which caused the leak condition. Replaced valve (W11267102) nozzle and tested operation. Spray pattern is now a fine cone-shaped mist and water is no longer directed toward the door. Leak has been eliminated and unit is now running as designed, job complete.

Arrived on site for leak around icemaker. Removed front heater cover found some moisture around under icemaker and on ice door,cleared off moisture replaced valve due to possibility of weeping water. Ran icemaker harvest passed ran fill test passed no leaks. Wpw10341329

Arrived on site to inspect wall oven microwave combo unit JOECC730RL00 showing an error code. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated by touching the screen and immediately error code F1E1-main control failure showed on the screen. I pulled the unit out to gain access to the main control on the left side of the unit and inspected the control and harness connections. I found a service pointer (W11821714) that refers to the harness not being fully connected. I checked the harness connections and found several wires not fully connected and corrected them. Retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No parts needed. Job completed.

Arrived on site to repair previously diagnosed issue top of ice holder needs a shim to catch the door switch. Installed shim but is still not making full contact needs one more on top and 2 on each side of existing shim. WTW7500GC2 Arrived on site for a washer with error code LF . On arrival, I ran diagnostic and found error code F2E1 low water flow. I replaced the water housing, tested the water pressure to the clients homes, and it was to high . I lowered the water pressure then tested product is working as its designed with no water leaks visible from the main water supply.

Arrived on site for washer showing a f20 error and stopping. Entered diagnostics and confirmed f20 is only code. Ran diagnostics. Verified voltage to the valve. It activates but water flow is very low. Washer completed test. Checked pressure hose and it was clear. Checked water to the valve and it was good. Replaced water valve. Verified operation. Call complete.

Arrived on site for an electric dryer model WED4307SW0 that is showing a check vent light when running the dryer. Inspected unit and work area. The kind of story stated that they had their vents cleaned after the previous technician came out. They advise that the dryer has been working a whole lot better and drying clothes, but they still have the check vent light appearing on most loads. I gained access to the rear and checked cycling temperatures on the backside of the unit with the vent hose detached. I found temperatures fluctuating between a 122F. And a 156F, averaging the temperature of a 138F. I found the unit would make complete temperature cycles within 55 seconds, indicating that the unit was working efficiently. I attached the vent hose back on ajd found similar readings, indicating there wasnt an airflow issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Jonathan SR# 22808455. He advised that the check vent light can come on due to several reasons. He said one is to make sure the customer is checking their lint screen. He said this will happen on most loads. He also advised that the other can be due to the venting system within the home. He said if there is any lack of airflow going out of the home, it can trigger the light. He said that if the customers cycles were completing and were dry, he found no issue with the machine and advised it was working as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed.

Arrived on site for unit violently shaking when spinning. Upon arrival checked error codes and found F0E5 unbalance. Cleared code . Pressed down on drum and found dampers on suspensions is bad. Hub is secured to the drum. Proceeded to replace W11130362 suspension. Tested unit and now unit is functioning as designed . No water leaks detected at this time

Arrived onsite for venthood UXT5236BDS2 right side light not functioning. Disassembled and inspected. Found disconnected white terminal on light housing, took pic. Secured connection and now unit is functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site to test unit for not working properly, tested unit found hub nut stripped could not remove wash plate, so had to break it out, replaced hub nut (W10528947) and wash plate (W10902814) and tested but co trillion is going through all the steps but no activation of any components but at the end it spun out creating a very loud grinding noise, inspected under unit and found failed shift actuator, replaced control (W11116592 ) and shift actuator (W10913953) and tested unit is now running as designed no leaks detected job complete

Arrived onsite for dryer not powering on. Per previous tech, replaced failed UI W11378949 and control W1178156. Tested and unit is now functioning properly, took pics. Arrived on site to diagnose a range with a complaint that the oven was not reaching the correct temperature. Began by preheating the oven and testing the unit to verify the customers concern. Customer stated they were using an oven thermometer inside the oven cavity to check the temperature and believed the unit was not heating correctly. Advised the customer that many oven thermometers respond slowly to temperature changes and can give inaccurate readings while the oven is cycling. Explained that most manufacturers recommend not relying on standalone oven thermometers for accurate diagnostics and instead following the guidance in the owners manual. Placed the unit into a bake cycle and monitored the temperature over several heating cycles to determine the average oven temperature. Set the oven to 350F and recorded the temperature fluctuations as the oven cycled on and off. After calculating the average temperature, the oven maintained an average temperature of 358F, which is within the normal operating tolerance for the appliance. Based on testing, the oven is heating and operating as designed. No mechanical issues found at this time. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit WMH31017HS12 for not heating. Upon arrival customer stated unit stopped heating and also noted the fan does not engage even though the control panel shows the speed settings. Verified issue and confirmed unit heats using magic lights diagnostic tool but the blower motor does not energize. Removed unit from cavity and found a piece of sheet metal restricting the fan from spinning, which ultimately caused the blower motor to fail. With the fan inoperative the unit would heat briefly until the magnetron overheated and ceased heating. Determined blower motor will need to be replaced before full operational testing can be completed to verify proper engagement of all components. No parts were sent with this ticket and all required components will need to be ordered. Ordering parts, no parts installed, rescheduled for 03/16. Customer requested sooner appointment if cancellation occurs.; schdld next appmnt for 3/16 MON !

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher with a complaint of a noise occurring during operation. Began by placing the unit into a test cycle to verify the customers concern and monitored the dishwasher through the different stages of operation, including fill, wash, and drain. During testing, the noise was heard when the wash motor engaged. Continued diagnosis and determined that the sound was coming from the capacitor engaging as the wash motor started and ran. This is a normal operational sound when the capacitor assists the motor during startup and operation. Allowed the unit to continue running through the cycle and confirmed that the wash motor, drain pump, and other components were operating properly. No abnormal grinding, rattling, or mechanical failure noises were present. The dishwasher completed the test cycle and operated as designed. Unit tested good with no issues found at this time. I tested without the ice bin I saw the ice yoke spinning I did hear the solenoid making a loud popping sound . Im ordering the solenoid, ice bin ,and motor . Returning parts just in case needed. Arrived on site to complete repair on refrigerator KRFC302ESS09 with left RC door out of alignment. Installed 3x shims from package W11755243. This aligned the door and mullion properly. Used some adhesive and heat to straighten out right side door gasket. Leveled unit. Verified all functions working as designed, unit properly installed. Call completed.

Arrived on site to test unit MVW4505MW1 for not starting a cycle. Upon arrival customer stated cycle cannot be started and lid does not lock. Inspected unit and found water present in the tub. Attempted to initiate a drain and spin cycle but lid would not lock. Inspected harness and found drain pump wire broken. Repaired wire using a butt splice and secured harness to prevent premature failure. Tested unit, lid now locks and drain pump engages properly. Ran a test cycle with all components properly engaging. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete.

Arrived on site to install ordered parts on a refrigerator WRSC5536RZ00. Installed the new door w11766137 and took a picture. Also tested dispenser. No leaks detected while on site.

Arrived on site for refrigerator over freezing in rc and making a loud noise. On arrival confirmed issue and found the source of the noise was the water valve failing. Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed motor and stator, replaced rotor (W10915701) and stator (W10915700) and tested but unit is still not working, motorvis not engaging and clutch just clicks, with out proper clutch engagement motor does not activate, will need to replace control, harness and clutch ; ordrng 1 W11687817 (Control) and 1 W11568984 (Lower harness) and 1 W10754448 (Clutch)

Arrived on site for oven not heating to customers liking. Customer set oven up 45 min before arrival. Highest temperature is 140f. Took temp reading of 137f. Closed and waited to see if temp comes back up after long opening. Unit got back to 137f. Found highest setting is actually 190. Unit is working but temperature is low. Ordering new thermostat.
