Arrived onsite for unit not starting when door gets closed. Customer showed that when it is closed it wont start sometimes. Customer showed me how they closed it and let them know that the way they were closing the door was not correct as it was too soft for the switches to turn on the unit. Steve walked me through checking voltage at the switch assembly and terminal block for the voltage to the lights. We found both steady with no fluctuation and having the proper voltage. "Arrived on site to follow up on leaking refrigerator. On arrival customer informed me leak stopped when icemaker was turned off. I checked he icemaker and found the fill cup frozen with a chunk of ice in it. Turned on and found the unit leaking from the fill elbow when it fills, and it would run into the liner and down the trim. Ordering new fill elbow / line, union connectors for easier install, and an icemaker / fill valve to make sure its not seeping with the new filter in. Quoted $50 for parts only for connector + line. "Arrived on site for a washing machine with a console issue. Upon arrival the customer stated the real issue was the latch and catch were physically broken. They also found the unit began washing poorly recently, and may not be dispensing soap. Upon further inspection I found both latch and catch physically broken. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F7E4 for basket re engagement failure, F1E2 for motor over voltage, and F5E4 lid not being opened between cycles. I could not properly test the unit due to the broken latch. I am ordering the latch and catch to install, and will come back with the control. Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. I performed a temp test in freezer and found it at 13 degrees when it is set to 0. Temps in rc at 40 degrees when its set to 35. I then check evaporators and found that both were iced up which causes temp fluctuations. I steamed the ice off of the evaporators. I also found that the drains were clear after melting the ice.

Due to the sealed system failure and the defrost bimetal failure, I removed and replaced the compressor, UV dye drier, access valve and vacuumed the system. Pressures held at -30/0. Installed 5.25oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures. Pressures were good at 1/150 and the evaporator had a good frost pattern. Also, I removed and replaced the FC evap fan motor/harness. Tested unit in diagnostics and unit is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer allow the unit to cool for 24 hours. No water leaks observed during service. job completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that is giving error code. Found incoming water line not fully tightened causing leak into overflow pan. Installed line properly and all is working properly at this time. No leaks were found after service was performed.

Arrived on site for dryer not having power. I inspected the unit and work area. I found error code f6e1 hmi error. I replaced the hmi and cleared the codes. I tested the unit. It is working as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator damage and UI not operating properly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the UI has been changing temp settings intermittently on its own. Also advised that there is a crack in the liner in the RC section. I tested the UI and could not duplicate the issue. I found a crack in the liner of the RC section at the bottom left side in the bend where the side wall meets the bottom. It is approximately 3 inches long. Due to the issues with the UI, I removed and replaced the UI and tested and it is operating as designed. Using the repair kit prescreened for todays service, I repaired the crack and advised the customer to monitor it and if it gets worse to contact Whirlpool. Before I left, the customer pointed out that the ice door is not sealing properly as they are having to reach up in the chute and close the door after getting ice. Arrived on site for a refrigerator thats not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit does cool but that the unit doesnt seem to get as cold as she would like it to get. She advised that shes running the unit on the max cold setting. Took temperature of the refrigerator compartment and found the unit at 36?F. I did inform the customer that that is within proper refrigeration temperatures. She indicated that they freezer has been fine in terms of temperature. Found the freezers sitting at -1?F. The customer advised that she believed there was something wrong with it because milk has been going bad quickly in her refrigerator. She advise that everything else seem to be fine and she has not lost any food. She just believe that the unit should be colder. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Drew SR# 7732374716. He advised that based on the information that the unit was within specifications and that no repair could be made to ensure any difference in temperature changes. Call complete.

Arrived on site for washer not cycling through wash selection. Upon arrival enter diagnostics and found F8e1 error (long/no fill) after running further diagnostics found rinse side of cold valve functioning but when stable 120v was applied to main solenoid inlet wouldnt open up. Installed needed part. Retested and found unit functioning as designed. Call complete

Arrived on site for Squeaking or Squealing Noise - Top Load Washer. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran high speed spin and could hear a squeak when it went into each speed up to high. Ran agitation and very loud grinding from splutch was apparent. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator losing power and lights going out intermittently. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit will turn off and they hear a clicking noise and the lights turn off. I inspected the deli control and harness and found both were good. When I removed the deli drawer pan, I found water/ice in the bottom of the RC. I pulled the unit out and removed the back cover and inspected the drain tube. I found the tube partially blocked with debris. Cleared the debris and sealed the gap in the tube between it and the chassis with silicone. Also found a void in insulation at the back of the unit as there is moisture built up on the back panel. I outlined the area that had the moisture and advised the customer of my findings. Due to the issues of the unit losing power, I removed and replaced the UI and power board and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=16 degrees and the RC=39 degrees. I removed the FC evap cover and found a block of ice forming in the upper right corner of the evaporator on the cap tube. I checked amp reading to the compressor and got .93amps. Also, I found that both RC door gaskets are torn and the defrost bimetal is bad.I am ordering the compressor, UV dye drier, access valve, evaporator, 2 RC door gaskets, defrost bimetal harness, CNOTE-3 HOUR JOB. Arrived onsite for broken oven glass and repaired by replacing oven glass and handle. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for a dryer stopping and starting on its own during the dry cycle. Upon arrival the customer stated that they had removed the doors from the laundry closet to allow the unit to air out while running, and the issue has not replicated since. The customer also provided a video of the issue. They found that from the beginning of the cycle the unit would stop roughly every 10 minutes, and then kick back on throughout the entire cycle. I found the customer was not using sensor dry, nor the wrinkle control settings. The timer was recently replaced, and I found it good. I checked voltage at the wall and found good polarity. I gained access to the ignitor and motor. I found both in good shape. I tested the door switch and found it good. The customer also just cleaned the vents through the wall and stated that with 100% certainty there is no clog, but the issue is still occurring. I also found the customer typically used sanitize heat for most cycles, and often dries large loads. I informed the customer of the possibility of over heating and causing the motor to over heat and stop. I found no mechanical failure at the time of service and could not replicate the issue. Call complete."

I put 125 psi of nitrogen into the system and found it holding. I put a measured charge into the system and found pressures dropping. I inspected all the visible lines and found no dye. I wiggle the dryer and could hear hissing coming from the line in the cabinet.

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not dispensing water. Found water filter not fully installed and reinstalled it properly. All is working properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not cleaning properly and leaving the soap at the bottom of the tube. Arrived on site to replace panel for dishwasher. Replaced front panel and job is completed.

"Arrived on site to test unit for not powering on. Found unit had an outlet splitter and was not secured properly into outlet preventing unit from receiving voltage. Removed splitter, tested unit, unit is now working as designed. No leaks detected.

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for a broken vent from shipping, upon inspection found the vent cracked. Ordering complete assembly. Office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11242950 (Handle and vent)"

"Arrived on site for oven combo , oven light not working, timer and preheat sound not working. Inspected unit and work area. Performed diagnostics mode and checked error codes, found no error codes. Tested light in component activation and found failed lamp bulb. Removed bulb and installed new. Ran factory reset and tested timer and preheat tone. Found all working as designed."

Arrived on call to replace previous diagnosed parts. After replacing harness the fan working properly. No leaks detected at time of service.

"Five downside and inspected range and found upper oven bake igniter has failed. Prescreened igniter is not the correct one it will need to be re-ordered.; ordrng 1 WP7432P143-60 (Upper oven igniter)"

Arrived onsite for unit not cleaning. Checked the top spray arm and it was clear. Ran automatic diagnostics and unit had water spraying out of both the bottom and the top spray arms. Found no issues with the unit at this time. Job complete
