Ran diagnostic cycle while unit was spinning and washing could hear a hum or buzz coming from the lower portion and appeared to be struggling to begin spinning. Replaced clutch and stator unit didnt seem to lag after replacing but found basket jumping excessively during both diagnostic cycles, found holes not punched through basket. Talking with the customer that they tried to run the dishwasher when the water was turned off. I explained that the heating element will turn off and the motor will error out when it since no water in the unit. Informed the customer that running the diagnostic cycle will turn the heating element back ons. Tested the heating element amps and it was 7.5 amps. Did not see any rinse aid at the end of the diagnostic cycle, rerunning the diagnostic cycle, the rinse aid was dispensed in the second time the diagnostic was ran. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a noisy fan. I found the evaporator fan a lot louder than normal. The customer had a recording of the fan and in the recording I could hear it hitting ice. I removed the evaporator cover and found a block of ice on the left side of the fan shroud due to water leaking from the icemaker fill tube and chute when the icemaker is going thru a fill cycle. I removed the block of ice. I replaced the fan and now it sounds normal. I am getting another chute because it isnt fitting correctly and adding a fill tube extension to stop this issue. "WRS315SDHZ17 Arrived to inspect ice issue. I found the issue was not with dispensing, but it was with ice clumping. I found the ice door would not fully close. There were signs of excessive debris and foam within the area of the ice door and I removed it. Replacing the ice door appeared to correct the issue as the replacement appeared to fully seal. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. I found the unit unplugged upon entry and attempted to plug the unit in. I found the unit start to run the compressor, but heard a noticeable hairs coming from the backside of the unit. I open the door of the refrigerator and found the sound dissipating inside indicating it was an issue in the backside of the unit. I gained access to the compressor and dryer areas and could not find the leak. Found no evidence of any frost pattern on the evaporator. Spoke to SW and Im ordering all sealed system components. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is still freezing product in the RC. The customer stated she put a small container under the icemaker on the shelf and the water froze one day and the next day it was liquid again. She stated it was frozen yesterday but when I arrived today it was liquid with the sealed system cycled off and the temp at 39 degrees. It appears the unit is having temperature swing issues. The thermistor is good and there is no more air leakage from the icemaker area. I went to change the main control but the control that was in the box was wrong but the box had the correct part number. Ordering another control. Ordering W11399844 main control. "KDTM404KPS2 Arrived to inspect noise. Service mode had 10-2 as the only stored error and I cleared for testing. The noise was from the diffuser plate and diverter distributor assembly and inspection revealed there may have been warping of one or both of the parts, allowing excessive movement and resultant noise, as water was being diverted under pressure. The machine will require the diffuser disk and diverter plate. Cup washer manifold ordered just in case, but likely not required. No leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher that will not wash dishes. Inspected unit and work area. Because Marie via the dishwasher has not run since they installed it. I found an F7 E2 (variable speed wash motor failure) error code flashing on the screen on entry. I ran the unit through diagnostics and confirmed the customers error code. I replaced the wash motor assembly and tested the unit. I found the unit Phil and recirculate the water but then it would not drain. I checked at electrical connections and found proper connections. I checked Continuity through the wire harness and found proper continuity, going from the drain pump to the control. I went ahead and replace the control and tested the unit. Still found the unit not attempting to drain the water out of the tub. I connected the old drain pump from the old wash motor onto the connector and attempted a drain to see if the motor would turn on and it would not. Ordering the wire, harness and drain pump motor and the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability. Please schedule service for two hours.; ordrng 1 W11677715 (Wire harness) and 1 W11462456 (Drain pump)"

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has doors that are not sealing. Inspected unit and work area. I found the unit cooling properly with no evidence of any frost buildup in the freezer or moisture buildup in the refrigerator. I checked the cabinet and liner and found both were good. I checked the gaskets and found no gaps in the gaskets on the cabinet. I did confirm that the gaskets were holding properly and the unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is too cold in the freezer section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that that was not the issue. She advised that they are getting icicles in her freezer and this unit is brand new. I checked the gasket and found the entire left-hand side of the freezer gasket not touching. I attempted to adjust the gasket and found that the Door was too far away from the cabinet for it to properly touch. I attempted to adjust the hinge on the top, hand side and found that I could not adjust the hinge enough to make it work. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to TJ SR# 7738881540. He had me send him some photos of the door and the top hinge. He advised that he has seen this before, and that the issue with the unit is that the holes were stamped in the wrong location on the left hand side hinge. He advised that it was most likely that if they swap the door over to the other hand side, that the unit would probably work, but because the customer Hass to have the door opening from that side, there was nothing we can do to fix the door location. He advised that he would send this unit for review, and to advise the customer that whirlpool would be in contact with them or myself, depending on the next steps."

"Arrived on site to test unit for no cooling. Upon arrival found both cabins at room temp, tried to activate compressor in diagnostics, compressor would not kick on. Unplugged unit and inspected start device and compressor, plugged unit back in, compressor kicked on. Called techline to document SR#7738878825, per techline took amperage from compressor pulling 1.1 amps. After 20 minutes inspected evaporator coil, frost buildup is ideal and unit is starting to cool. Due to significant weather events my conclusion is unit got a power surge and got stuck in a logic loop. Advised customer to put water bottle in freezer and when it fully freezes unit will be safe to use. If unit does not cool properly it will need a sealed system repair. At this time unit is running as designed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner flame heights. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the burners are too hot and the front left burner knob is difficult to turn. I tested all burners and found the flame heights all normal. I found the front burner knob does not turn the burner on. I removed the cooktop from the burner box and found the front left burner valve not seated properly on the manifold. I adjusted the valve and using my liquid leak detector, checked the valve for gas leaks and found none. I reassembled the unit and adjusted the flame heights per customer request and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer lid lock not locking. Upon further inspection, I found the lower left corner of the lid plastic was broken and the hinge exposed. When lowering the lid, the hinge would pop out of place in the lid (photo). I am ordering the lid and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and scheduled return service for 04/19/24. "Arrived on site for unit not powered on. Upon arrival, the unit showed no power. We inspected the breaker outside and found in the tripped position. Switched breaker back on and tested unit. To rule out element leakage, ran broil at 500 degrees for 20 minutes and bake element for additional 25 minutes to eliminate any possible moisture within the element that could cause a nuisance tripping . Not once during testing did the unit trip the breaker. Unit is functioning as designed. If symptoms persist recommend builder swap breaker with a brand like GE that does not have as many nuisance tripping issues as Square D. Job complete"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that their unit had stopped going at some point because theyre ice cream or soft and things were defrosting in the freezer section. He advised that since he called it in, the unit has seemingly recovered, and, just wanted to have it looked at. I took temperature in the freezer and refrigerator sections. I found the refrigerator at 35?F and the freezer sitting at 2?F. I found the icemaker making proper ice and that everything was solid. Found all components of the machine working and operating as designed. I did it by the customer that calling issues tend to be either defrost issues or compressor issues. And because there is neither evidence of either and temperatures were at the requested settings, there was no way to determine what exactly happened on the unit stop cooling. I asked the customer if they power reset their machine and he advised that he has never done that. I did advise him to try that in the future situation as that can illuminate any kind of glitch on the control. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not getting enough water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. I found the unit not dispensing enough water as it was not filling over the washplate as it should. I tested in a normal cycle and it continued to fail. I removed the water hoses and found the hot water hose is beginning to break down internally and I found black rubber debris inside the hot water valve screen (photo). I removed and replaced the valve assembly and calibrated the unit and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed using service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and replaced freezer door and rocker switches. All checks good. Unit is now set up to be operating as designed.

"Arrived on site to test unit for noise. Customer stated after 30-45 minutes unit would make a humming like noise for 10-20 seconds than stop. Noise is intermittent. Ran a cycle for 5-10 minutes with no noise present. Inspected blower wheel, spinning uniformly and no defects on it. Inspected rest of the cabin, found 4 loose screws scattered throughout which couldve been the cause of the noise. Informed customer of my findings and advised her to monitor. If noise returns take a video so we can narrow down the issue. At this time unit is running as designed, job complete."

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. On inspection the fc and rc were room temperature. Gain access to the back and tested the compressor for amps and there were none. Installed a new start device and retested now the compressor once up in running was .7amps. Checked the fc for cold air and there is cold air coming out of the evap fan. Informed customer that it will take 24 hrs to cool all the way down.

Arrived onsite and repaired unit with failed door handle by re installing and securing the existing handle.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the unit consistently showing error code F0E2; the dispenser covered with mold on the inside and per service pointer #W11446112, I removed and replaced the dispenser assembly, main control and water level sensor. Double checked the air trap and it was clear and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the burner head failures, I removed and replaced all burner heads and tested. I found the burners continued to take too long to ignite. Per the service pointer W11643965, I adjusted the burner heads and retested and the unit is operating as designed. Customer tested as well and it continued to operate as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"MHW6630HW1 Arrived to inspect softener dispensing issue. Service test mode had F4E1 as the only code stored and I cleared for testing. Jumpering the valve assembly and ensuring voltage to both valves, I found the left (2) valve apparently not operating, as the only water at the dispenser came from the main detergent fill section. Electrically, both valves were within 2% resistance values. Testing each valve separately revealed both working and with good flow. I removed and replaced the valves and drawer assemblies and tested. The unit operated as designed. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for burner having random flare ups. Upon arrival, tried recreate the flare up but found no issues. Customer showed video and tried multiple times to recreate issue but could not. Instructed customer on possibilities that include clogging the burner head with cleaner or other foreign material. Currently unit is functioning as designed and customer will monitor. Job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, the customer had left the unit operating since last visit and I found frost beginning to build up on the back wall of the FC section. I gained access to the evaporator and placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the defrost. I found the defrost element not coming on and it was recently replaced. Tested the element from the control and found no voltage going to the element. I removed and replaced the UI, HV control and defrost thermistor and retested the unit in diagnostics. I tested the defrost and found the element coming on now. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site and replaced previously diagnosed compressor and precooler. Vacuumed system and system held pressures for 25mins indicating no leaks within system. Charged to specs with 68g of r600a. Monitored frost pattern on evap for 30 mins and frost pattern developing throughout entire evap. No leaks detected. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a washer thats not draining. I tested the washer and found it draining properly. The customer stated it will not drain when they run a delicate cycle. I selected the delicate cycle and found the spin was set to off. I showed this to the customer and explained that whatever the selections are set to when start is selected the unit will default to those settings the next time the cycle is run. All works as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and found both valves locking shut and unable to operate due to no pressure from the supply demonstrated to onsite gym administrator. All else checks good.
