Arrived onsite for a washer displaying an SD message. I checked stored error codes and found an F9E1 & F8E1. I ran the auto test cycle and the unit completed the cycle and worked as designed. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not draining. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they ran a load a week ago of heavy duty towels, and that the unit did not drain all the water out they advised that after they left it for a while, the water did drain out, but that the clothes were not Fully rang out. Ran unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Found the washer, completely unlevel and banging against the front and right side of the cabinets. Attempted to adjust the feet to accommodate the flooring. Found that the adjustments that the washer could make would not properly level the washer on the customers flooring and did advise the customer to get some rubber shams the square out and level the washer prior to any further service. Arrived onsite for a dryer with clothes wet at the end of the cycle. I tested the dryer finding it working correctly except clothing was not contacting the sensor bars correctly. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has a broken icemaker again. Inspected unit and work area. Did find the icemaker stuck in a harvest position with the icemaker tray completely bowed. Spoke to seeA the icemaker and the cover at no charge, but was advised to call whirlpool Tech line for further assistance. I called whirlpool tag line and spoke to Brandon SR# 7736499913. He advised that based on the fact that there was no bowing on the door or the cover, that the issue would have to be an environmental or customer usage issue. He said that the customer may find that the unit works fine when they first replace the water filter and when it starts going out, the unit doesnt fill right and is causing larger than normal cubes. Advise the only thing I could advise to replace is the icemaker. Went ahead and replaced the icemaker and cover test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still dripping water in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit has been leaking water intermittently since the previous repair and that the freezer temperature is not exactly where she expects it to be. Found the cover not completely installed properly creating an airflow issue and checked the evaporator. Found a good frost pattern on the evaporator and checked the amp draw on the compressor. Found the compressor pulling proper amperage. Did advise the customer that because they dont have a defrost issue and they have a good frost pattern, the issue would have to be with the settings on the unit. Found the freezer control at minimum and the refrigerator at the recomm setting. She did advise that the refrigerator has not had any temperature concerns except for freezing vegetables when she turns down the thermostat on her refrigerator. Found the customer storing lettuce in the bottom drawer in the back. Did advise the customer that as cold air falls, anything stuck in the back of the refrigerator is liable to freeze and to move her water based vegetables to the middle of the fridge. steamed out excess frost in the drain hole and found it properly draining into the drip pan underneath. "Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. I did find the cutting grid broken and went ahead and replace the cutting grid. The customer advised the unit stopped making ice on Friday of last week and completely was advised by Sunday. They tried to power cycle the unit and tested several other times after replacing the filter. Ran the ice machine through diagnostics and found all tests pass. I ran the unit through a normal icemaking cycle. The unit field, recirculated, froze an ice sheet on the evaporator plate, and finally harvested. Call complete."

Customer advised that she ran the dishwasher prior to our service and the unit was still going through a dishwashing cycle. She did advise that the unit was not leaking at this point even though it had been an hour, but that she usually gets about 10 drops to half a cup with water on the left-hand side of the dishwasher when the dishwasher is through. Checked the door and found evidence of water on the left hand outer edge of the door. Checked behind the front door panel, and found no evidence of leaking from the vent or dispenser. Found steam settling on the outer edge of the frame where the inner door meets the gasket and water condensating in dripping from there. Went ahead and replace the door gasket and test of the unit. "WOC54EC0HS20 Arrived to inspect noise. I found and isolated the noise to the microwave cooling fan. Removal and replacement corrected the issue and I attempted to install it back into the cabinet. I noted a severe rearward tilt and attempted to correct. Ultimately, I was not able to correct the installation issue due to the back of the lower panel that supports the oven within the cabinet, angled downwards toward the rear. I advised the customer the panel tilt/misalignment should be corrected and installing supports along the sides of the cabinet would likely correct the issue, after ensuring the panel is level and at a right angle to the cabinet sides and front and rear. Operational test ok."

Pulled the heating element and did a ohm test, it was OL. Installed a new heating element and retested the unit, now the amp draw was 7.5 amps and the heating element is getting hot now. Replaced the pump and tested unit. The unit is operating as designed. The part was covered under AE 1 year warranty."

The customer advised that he thought he saw smoke coming out of the light fixture in the freezer and was worried there might be something going on. I remove the entire light fixture from the top of the cabinet and found no evidence of smoke, cut or charred wiring, or burning coming from the bulb, bulb housing or cabinet. "LMXS28596S Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the unit attempting to cool, but with slightly above room temperature RC and FC chambers. The compressor was running, but at room temperature, with no appreciable heat. The current draw, measured on the compressor voltage supply is usually an inaccurate measurement method with this type of unit, but with the meter in my possession, I found the compressor draw to be .6 amps, generally considered too low for the conditions the unit was found in. This denotes the high likelihood of compressor internal failure, but does not rule out the possibility of a system leak and cannot be tested further without tapping into the system

Arrived onsite for freezer section icing up. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found gasket in bad shape and gaps throughout. Replaced gasket and molded to fit. Seal is making good contact all around. Job complete

After checking voltage reading with techline and running diagnostics resets we narrowed failure to ui control logic freezing and resetting cycle. Techline recommended replacing W11475812 ui control. "Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed the mullion for inspection and found one of the wires had been sheared off, likely during manufacturing. I installed the replacement. Verifying the inability of the UI to enter full test mode and only able to enter into the error mode, I removed and replaced. The new UI showed F3E8 within service test mode, when the new UI was installed. Attempts to get the unit into test mode still failed, even though it was able to be put into the first stage, error mode. I tested the harness from end-to-end and found very good continuity on all four wires. The 5VDC was present and I could read DCV on the other two connections as well, but the information for exacting expected readings was not published. I attempted main control replacement and there was no change. The RC door gaskets were mis-ordered and will require a return service. Office to order the H/T sensor, second door gasket and UI.Contacted MFG tech Rich. File# 7736494884. I was advised there is not a current work around for the service mode issue and it has been submitted to engineering for a direct response. The tech agreed with my summary and parts to be ordered. "Arrived on site to diagnose dryer that is making a consistent buzzing sound. Examined and tested unit and confirmed noise happened soon after cycle started. Noise sounds similar to a buzzing capacitor. Sounded like noise was coming from the control triacs. Replaced control and retested. Noise still present with new control, but slightly quieter. Traced noise to interior of unit where it's either coming from a buzzing steak valve, or the motor itself. Noise sounds electrical and does not sound like rotational mass noises. Arrived onsite for refrigerator making a noise. On inspection I gain access to the back of the unit and took the back cover off. Then open the doors to make the compressor come on. When the compressors came on I could hear the noise. I pin power it to the fc evap fan making the noise. Did not have one on the truck ordering and rescheduling. No water leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 W11314192 (Fc evap fan)

Arrived onsite for washer that is shaking. When I looked parts I had parts for a front loader. There is a pic of ser/model of a front load washer and the pic of the ser/model of there unit. Ordering parts for the unit.; ordrng 1 W11178227 (Tub) and 1 W11400156 (Suspension)

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is making ice that tastes bad. Upon inspection I found the to be true. I suspect that the reservoir may have some contaminants stuck in it due to some new home construction in the area. Upon replacing reservoir, I put a hole in the new one. Arrived on site to test unit for unit not heating. Test unit and found magnetron cover damaged. Will order new covered and will need to replace magnetron inverter and covers on return visits. Office to reschedule ; ordrng 2 W10915651 (Cover plate)s and 1 2hours (2 hours)

Arrived onsite for a freezer not making ice. I found ice in the mold. I ran a harvest test and the icemaker went thru a harvest and worked as designed. I ran a fill test and could hear the valve energizing but no water entered the mold. I disconnected the fill tube at the filter and ran the fill test again and had water coming out of the filter head. I ran service test 66 to turn the fill tube heater on and the UI reset and knocked me out of diagnostics showing a power failure. I checked the resistance on the fill tube heater and found it showing 19 ohms and in range. I disconnected the heater and ran test 66 again and verified 12 VDC to the heater. I reconnected the heater and every time test 66 was turned on the UI would reset and show power failure. The UI and possibly the fill tube assembly will need to be replaced. Ordering W11404238 UI and marking all other prescreened parts as UORV. Office to RS.; ordrng 1 W11404238 (UI)

"Arrived on site to inspect venthood not venting and making noises. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and found the motor making a grinding noise. I removed one the motor screens and retested and verified the motor making the grinding noise and not some debris. I am ordering a PARTS RESEARCH-BLOWER MOTOR ASSEMBLY and notified the office that the unit model number does not show up in a parts breakdown and am unable to order the part needed. I advised the customer that once we receive the blower motor assembly, someone will notify them and schedule return service.; ordrng 1 PARTSRESEARCH (BLOWER MOTOR ASSEMBLY)"

"Arrived onsite for washer not responding. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found only drain pump would kick on. Ran diagnostics and found stored error code 8/3 overflow , 8/1 no water detected , 4/0 heater not detected , 5/2 door lock error. Cleared and ran test. Found no water entering unit. Disconnected and found valve clogged. Also found low pressure from supply. Notified customer but stated the pool is running and that slows pressure. With it off pressure is normal. Recommend proceeding with valve replacement ; ordrng 1 WPW10435242 (Valve)"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not producing ice. Upon further inspection, I immediately noticed the UI missing/faded digits (photo). I tested temps I the F1 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 56 and found no error codes. I performed tests 15, 19, 36, 37, 45, 57, & 58 and all tests passed. I found the right RC door gasket badly torn (photo) and the interior liner of the left RC door was badly sunken in at the front and right side (photos). Based off my findings, I am ordering the left RC door, right RC door gasket, ice maker, UI and HV control. Office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was throwing the over temp alarm consistently. Customer can power cycle and it will work briefly, but ovet temp always comes back. Checked the sealed system and found Low pressure at -25, high at 115psi, with compressor hot to the touch. I found dried UV dye in the evap pan, indicating a slow leak coming from the evaporator. Provided estimate to customer for sealed system repair ; ordrng 1 W11125124 (Compressor) and 1 W11507067 (Evaporator) and 1 Wpw10143759 (Drier) and 1 W11506635 (Access Port)"

"Arrived on site to test unit for unit powering on and off on its own, tested unit found controls receiving proper voltage but UI firm ware looks corrupted and is cycling intermittently on the start screen, called safety to report my findings got a concession for parts coverage W177W20WP1,

Arrived onsite for repeat noise concern. Determined that the noise being heard was the icemkaer fill valve. Recreated the symptom and explained to the customer that valve chatter can be attributed to house water pressure which is perceptibly hi at their home. Advised having use a pressure dampener to the fridge to reduce strain on fridge water features. Used pad to soften vibration. All checks good. Advised customer on repair. ; used 1 W11113654 (Pad) from stock
