Arrived onsite for cooktop making abnormal noises. Upon inspection I found the center burner would intermittently make a high pitched whirling noise consistent with improper air mixture or flow. I found the burner to be wobbly and appears to be warped. I replaced the burner and cap and could not recreate any abnormal noises. I could feel a draft in the area of the cooktop and advised that the draft could contribute to the noise but as of now the unit is working as designed. No gas leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for washer not cleaning clothes properly and leaving clothes wet at the end of the cycle. Upon arrival put unit in diagnostics and found stored error code for faulty actuator. "Arrived on site and inspected washer with scraping noise just before spin cycle. Confirmed the complaint and found the cam was worn down causing the issues. R&R the cam, tested the unit and unit tested as designed without any issues. Job complete"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Upon arrival the customer stated the FC started losing cool and then the RC followed. I checked temps and found the FC at 42?F and the RC at 53?F. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the evap fan, condenser fan, compressor, heater, and damper all operating as designed. I then gained access to the evap and found the frost pattern coming to a complete stop about a foot and a half down the evap coil. This indicates a restriction in the evap and the unit needing a SS repair. Ordering SS parts. "On site for fridge icemaker in RC door producing ice slowly. FC 3 degrees. Ran test 56 IM errors, found E5 timed ice making. IM fan running. Ran test 57, unit completed harvest and dropped ice into bin. Test 15, 02 bin not full. Ran test 58, results heater on, temp warmer than harvest temps. IM 13 degrees. Fill tube heater 55ohms. Replaced ice maker and UI control. Advised customer to allow 24-48 hours for proper ice production. Unit functioning as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite and repaired noisy evap fan by replacing fan. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good. Advised customer on repair.

Arrived on site for dryer not heating correctly. Upon arrival I found dryer had stable power supply. After verifying integrity of heating hardware I was able to pinpoint cause with vent test kit to clogged vent exhaust within home. I also found signs of clog on outter part of home near exhaust exist. Informed customer of findings and instructed them to get a dvc in order to allow proper airflow of the dryer. Call complete

"Arrived on site for customer complaint of unit not powering on, found unit tripping breaker when not in use, instructed customer to call electrician for possible breaker issue."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not dispensing ice or water. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and found the previous repair have been done with a toothpick and a sound pad to create the cushion needed for the door switch to close. The door switch had created an indentation inside the sound pad making the unit register the door not closed. Removed prior repair work and added a spacer to the door. The door began to operate as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Ed SR# 7731837493. He advised that based on the information, the spacer was the correct repair to be made and that if further issues persisted, they would rip place the door. The unit is now working as designed. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that was leaking water at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment. Upon arrival there was a pool of water on the bottom of the RC. I cleaned the water with my wet vac and towel. I then gained access to the filter housing and valve. I could find no leak nor trace of leak from there. I gained access to the evap and drain pan. I found the water not draining properly and coming from under the pan. I found nothing obscuring the drain hole. I gained access to the back of the unit and removed the drain tube. I found it clear. I also found the drain pan completely dry, even when there is significant water build up in RC drain pan area. I then took a tube and tried to blow through the drain line. I found it not allowing airflow through it, and the tube would not go through the drain at all. This indicates a possible collapsed drain line. I also tried steaming it out, but still had the same issue. I called techline and spoke to Adrian and received SR# 7731839702. Adrian agreed that this appears to be a collapsed drain line.

Arrived on site for dryer turning on element but not rotating drum. Upon arrival I confirmed complaint and found cause was due to stuck relay in motor and motor failing to start. I was able to replace motor and blower wheel (old wheel was stuck on) reassembled and tested dryer and found it fully functioning with no od behavior. Call complete

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. Upon inspection I found F6E4 stored on the system. I checked the disposal drain inlet and found the tab had not been broken out to allow the dishwasher drain to function. I broke out the tab and continued testing the unit. Arrived onsite for freezer making loud knocking noise. Upon arrival I could hear the noise coming from the back panel of the unit. I found the interior at 0 degrees and the evaporator fan sounding normal. I accessed the rear compressor area and found the drain pan is vibrating against the condenser lines or causing the lines to make the abnormal noise. I added some sound pads from my van stock part #(W11113654) under the lines in the pan and the noise went away. I re assembled all panels and monitored the unit when the compressor came on. I could not recreate the noise at this time. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a cooktop producing orange flames. I tested the unit and found very light, small flickers of orange on the flames. I found a lot of constructionism in the area, and informed the customer this is the cause of the flame irregularities. I also informed the customer on what a customer instruct entails, and that they have used theirs today. I found the unit working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for not drying clothing. Removed flame peep hole to inspect flame. Flame lit for fifteen seconds then went out. Inspected dryer lint screen and found heater box completely clogged. Shut off gas and power and removed rear bulkhead and then removed heater box. Removed large amount of lint from heater box and reassembled. Turned gas and power back on. Tested unit and flame stated lit. Used thermocouple to check temps. High temp was 205 and low temp was 116. Ran two more sets of temps and dryer is heating as designed. Job completed.

"Arrived on site for THE LOAD AND GO DISPENSER IS HAVING ISSUES AGAIN--THE SENSOR GETS DILUTED? Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran through diagnostics and all cycles completed without issue. Explained to customer that water inside the dispenser is normal. Customer stated the load and go becomes heavily diluted with water if he fills it all the way to max, but if he fills the load and go halfway full it stays thick like it comes out of the detergent bottle. Advised to try loading load and go with one tablespoon every load to ensure his clothes are receiving the correct amount of detergent every wash. Customer was not aware of affresh clean cycle. Advised using affresh tablets to rid the washer of any foul odors inside the washer and how this helps with keeping insides clean and also clothes not smelling bad due to residual water stuck inside after washer completes a cycle. No leaks detected. Job completed."

Arrived on site for dryer randomly turning on and off. Upon arrival I found unit was in standby mode but while confirming information I found unit randomly turned on. I then ran further tests and found timer plus start switch wire faulty causing random power ones and downs. Found unit no longer turning on or off randomly. Call complete

Arrived onsite for washer shaking badly and moving the machine around in the laundry room. Upon inspection I found no error codes stored. I called techline to report the situation. As I waited I inspected the drive system and suspension. I did not see any indications of failed suspension. I did not see any obvious signs of a failed gear case. "Arrived on site for customer complaint of unit not heating, found hi limit thermostat failed due to blower fan not running. I replaced thermostat and blower fan motor, unit tested good."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit makes a squeaking noise during spin cycle and in agitate. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E3. Cleared the code and continued with testing. I advanced the testing to the spin cycle and in the beginning it made a squeaking noise and stopped. When I moved the unit to pull it out, the unit made the same squeaking noise and the customer identified the noise as what theyve been hearing. I shook the cabinet and the noise got more frequent and louder. I pulled the unit out further to get behind it and found the brace that connects the unit to the pedestal below was loose. I tightened all the screws on the brace and the back panel of the unit and leveled and tightened the leveling feet and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that was not washing the dishes well. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit was still leaving grime and food on their dishes, even after several back to back washes. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F5E1 for door stuck open. I then ran a test cycle while monitoring amp draw to the heater. I found the unit ran through as designed. However, the wash motor sounded like it was running weak. Due to this I installed a new sump and motor. I then ran a diagnostics cycle again and the unit was running as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the dispenser motor and found nothing happens when pressing the ice paddle. I tested the door switch and it is within ohms range. I tested voltage at the dispenser motor and found no voltage. Tested at the hv control and got same results. I tested voltage at the door switch and got no voltage as well. I am ordering the door switch and hv control and and scheduled return service. "Arrived on site to insect dishwasher not drying the dishes. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with no rinse aid in the dispenser. Customer advised they have a water softener system. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Using my multimeter, I placed it at the black wire on the harness and tested amp draw to the components. During the wash and drying cycles, the element was showing 7-9amps which is within range. I contacted techline and spoke to Bruce and advised of the complaint and my findings and recommendations to the customer. Bruce recommended that the customer use 2 tablespoons of liquid detergent and use rinse aid and preferred settings. Provided SR#7731845831. I made recommendations for use & care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and repaired dishwasher dispenser door had jammed and would not open. Repaired door operation. Unit is now operating properly.

Arrived on site for Not Dispensing Ice or Water - Refrigerator. Tested water dispenser and I could hear the valve actuating but no water coming out. Removed filter and tried calling for water without filter and still no water dispensed. Removed filter head and installed new filter head. Still no water coming through dispenser. Gained access to valve and found valve connector not seating properly into valve connector. Removed valve and installed new valve. Tested and still no water coming from dispenser. Called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Adrian. Adrian had me disconnect the water line underneath the freezer door to test and no water came out when dispenser pressed. Disconnected water line at filter head and water sprayed out. Adrian then had me remove the evap cover to check reservoir. Reservoir was heavy and felt frozen. Disconnected water line from reservoir and tested water and water came out. Restriction in reservoir. Adrian also had me check the gaskets on the styrofoam cover. They all looked good and were sealing properly. Ordering a new reservoir W11204869 to return and complete the repair. Will return with styrofoam gaskets to compare and inspect if the styrofoam has all the correct gasket seals. Ordering 3 gaskets W10684392 but may not be needed. "Arrived on site for a dryer making a loud noise. Upon arrival the customer provided a video of the noise, and it sounded like a very loud rapid clanking. The customer stated the noise typically occurs the last 20 or so minutes of the cycle. I ran the unit for about 15-20 minutes and could not replicate the noise. I then gained access to inside of the unit and found all mechanical components as designed. Upon further inspection I found the blower assembly touching the chassis in two spots. This is most likely causing the rattle. I put the sound pads down to dampen the noise. I then ran the unit again, and after a while I could hear the rattle. I verified with the customer that it is significantly quieter than before. I also found that if you push on the front panel right by the blower wheel it will stop the noise. I did find a dent on the front panel, which may also be contributing to the noise. The unit is working as designed and I found no mechanically failing parts. Call complete."

Arrived on site for the top rack being broken. Upon further inspection I found the top left track broken. The customer requested replacing both however. I installed the new tracks and the unit is now working as designed.Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop ignitors wont stop arcing. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the issue and I found that the cooktop ignitors were arcing even with the knobs in the off position. I inspected the switch harness and found it good. I removed and replaced the spark module and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer needing to be cleaned. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they wanted the inside of the unit cleaned of lint. I disassembled the unit and cleaned all lint and the rollers/axles and reassembled and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I provided a photo to the customer of the unit cleaned. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaving soap in clothing. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E6. Cleared the code and manually tested spin and agitate. I found when the unit agitates, the whole basket moves and not just the wash plate. I tilted the unit back and found the actuator arm had slipped out the eyelet on the cam. I removed and replaced the actuator and calibrated. Retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the ice maker leaking. Upon arrival the customer stated it is the freezer compartment ice maker. I checked temps and found the FC at 1?F, the RC At 35?F, and the IB at 10?F. I gained access to the FC IM and found the fill tube ripped. I also found it warped and rotated to where most of the water just pours straight into the ice bin. I am ordering a new fill tube for the repair. I also found some ice build up in the fill tube, indicating a possible weeping valve. We will return with the valve as well to install. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Per the previous techs diagnosis, I removed and replaced the main control and tested. I found the motor has failed and not coming on. I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not getting water. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit on and water began to dispense into the tub. When the motor was to come on it failed. I placed my multimeter leads into the back of the motor connection and when I did this the motor came on and I got 120V at the motor. I advised the customer that the motor harness connection must have been loose. Customer advised that they recently replaced the inlet valve. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with a condenser fan that never stopped running. Upon arrival the customer stated they just had the control replaced by another company. I checked voltage to the fan and found it constant. The customer stated the fan will even run with the compressor off. I unplugged the unit and ohmd out the fan. I found 14, which is good. I then gained access to the control and checked all molex connectors to make sure they were inserted correctly. I also checked for kinks in the harness. All appeared good. I then plugged the unit back in and the condenser fan did not kick right on. It only started once the compressor turned on. I found the unit now working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher not working. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit would not fill. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F6E4 for float switch open, F6E7 for flow meter issue, and F6E6 for cool water. I ran a test cycle and found the unit filling as designed. The customer did state this issue occurred around the same time their well was being fixed a few months back, and they had only tried it once since then. Upon further inspection I found traces of water leaks under the sump and motor, but at the time of service it did not drip. I also observed a drip coming from the front right of the unit. I gained access to the interior door and found no traces of a leak. Upon further inspection I found the gasket at the bottom of the door seal was corroded, which is what was causing the slow drip. I found the unit otherwise running as designed.

"Arrived on site for a wall oven that intermittently throws an F2E6 error code and loses power. Upon arrival the unit had the F2E6 error code on it. Per tech sheet this error code indicates the need to replace the control and membrane. I powered the unit off at the breaker and gained access to the control. I found no visible burns on the control indicating only a control failure. Therefore, the customer will need to replace the membrane and control to complete the repair.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F6E4 for an open float switch. I ran a test cycle and found the unit did not fill. I found nothing jammed under the float. I checked voltage to the valve while it was supposed to fill and found 0VAC. I gained access to the float switch and found the arm jammed. I adjusted this and the switch was now operating as designed. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit now filling as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived on site for REF Freezer All interior light not operating N/A. We gained access to the fc to find that the lights didnt come on when the door was opened. Upon further inspection we found ice duels up in door switch. We removed ice from switch and the light came on. We test the unit by opening and closing rc door several time and found that the light came on every time. Icing was caused by the customer not closing the door correctly. We advised them to open and close the door from the center of door handle to help prevent icing.

Arrived onsite and found unit cooling perfectly. Customer advised that sometimes the freezer seems warm. Advised customer to establish temperatures at time of a perceived failure using a digital thermometer. All checks good. At time of service.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator not making ice. I checked temps and found the FC at 5?F, the RC at 36?F, and the IB at 10?F. I gained access to the IM and jumped a harvest. I found it running as designed. I jumped the fill, but found it not working. The customer stated she recently changed the filter, so I bypassed the filter head and still found the fill not working. I gained access to the valve and found 120VAC going to it. Upon further inspection I found the line not frozen either. I gained access to the back of the unit to the shut off, and found the water line pinched. I corrected this and jumped the fill again. I found the unit and fill now working as designed. Upon further inspection I found the water line in the back to be considerably to long. I advised the customer on changing this in order to prevent this from happening again. I informed the customer on what a customer instruct entails, and that they have used theirs today.

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for sparking during use, upon inspection found the unit with burn marks around ceramics and on them, painted the units burn marks with correct paint, used ui light to dry paint to touch, replaced ceramics. Instructed customer to wait for a couple hours to allow paint vapors to dry and vent correctly. Complete"

"Arrived onsite for unit making noise and lighting is flickering. Asked customer if the noise would be short or long noises. Said it lasts for about 3 hrs and the flickering would occur when the noise was happening. Unit was not making any type of noise and lights were stable. Customer had no issues with the unit cooling or freezing. Let customer know to video as much as possible and show for when the unit starts having the issues again, if she has to call back for the issue returning. No issues at this time. Job complete"

Arrived on site for microwave not working. Inspected unit and work area. Found frame dented by right door switch ( see SD-QuickPic). Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Steve.

Arrived on site and inspected burning smell from the dryer. Turned it on and condenser the complaint. Unplugged it and checked voltage at the back and received 240/120/120. Found the burning smell was due to excessive lint on and near the heating element. Showed customer and she advised she would have the ventilation system cleaned to prevent damage to her unit or home. Job complete

Arrived on site for cooktop intermittently tripping circuit breaker. Found circuit box locked. Customer unlocked breaker box. Powered circuit breaker on and tested each burner individually. Found all burners glowing. Tested all burners together to draw higher amperage. Found circuit breaker did not trip. Informed customer with unit working as designed that fault could not be found. Inform customer that my speculation would be with the breaker but we feel failure not current cannot guarantee it. Attempted to lock breaker box back and was not able to get it to lock.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher or draining or cycling. Upon arrival found F8e1. After further inspection I found propeller on drain had snapped clean off but I found no evidence of clogs or foreign objects in unit. Replaced drain pump, reassembled and tested unit found no leaks and unit fully cycles as designed call complete."

"Arrived on site for complaints of microwave sparking. Found burnt diode and capacitor, took pictures. Found missing mounting screw causing improper install. Unit hanging lower and is loose on left side where the missing screw is. This may be causing venting issues, causing high voltage to get over greased.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran through full diagnostics and all cycles completed without issue. Found washer was plugged into a GFCI outlet. Explained to customer that once the washer is under a load with clothes inside basket its causing additional strain on the motor which draws more voltage causing the breaker to trip due to it being plugged into a GFCI outlet. Removed control and installed new control. Ran DLMS calibration then another auto diagnostics cycle. Washer running as designed.

Arrived onsite for range that started smoking in preheat I accessed the burner and tested the unit. The burner came on as designed. I checked under the cooktop for any burners or charring but could not find anything. I inspected the control and wiring but could not find any burns or shorts. I assembled the unit and put it back into place. I ran preheat and the inside of the oven started smoking. I found the smoke coming from within the oven bottom. The customer advised me there was a spill over recently. The spill is causing the smoke to bellow quite a bit. I advised that the bottom would need to be deep cleaned or replaced to solve this issue. ; ordrng 1 W11098799 (Bottom)

Arrived on to install previously diagnosed part. Removed thermistor and found out of range. Installed new thermistor and noticed drain pan was bowed on the left side where drain pan is located. Upon further inspection I found the liner on the left side was bubbling and lifted. Called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Ed. Ed had me connect to a video call. Ed had me pour water over the top of the evaporator to see how water traveled. Job completed. SR 7731825726
