"Arrived on site to diagnose range that was popping breaker. Found breaker was a GFCI. Unit popped breaker on first usage. I tested the unit and it popped the breaker within 30 seconds. When I tried to reset it, the breaker would not reset. Had to wait and disconnect control. Measured Amp and voltages. Amp draw never exceeded 16.3, on a 30 Amp breaker. Voltages and polarity are good, voltage at 122. After resetting the breaker again I was able to get unit to fully preheat in a bake and broil, and breaker stopped tripping. Filled out voltage sheet and advised customer on contacting builder if issue repeats, since all is working properly at this time. Could not get breaker to fail again. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the noise theyre hearing is the same loud humming noise as previous attempted repairs. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the compressor in test 5. In max speed, the unit began to make a loud humming noise that the customer described and recognized. I pulled the unit out onto my floor protector and removed the back panel to expose the compressor. When I moved the compressor or any of the tubing near the compressor, the humming noise got quieter. I adjusted the tubing and using some zipties, I tied the tubing to where it would hold in place and the humming noise got much quieter. I repositioned some mastic from previous repair as seen in the photo taken in SDQuickpic. Also sealed the drain tube at the back of the unit with manufacturer approved silicone. Placed the unit back in its spot and leveled the unit. Retested and the unit continues to be quiet and is operating as designed to the customers approval. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

The unit was making a clicking noise, I looked at the diode and it looked like it had gotten over heated a few times by the coloration of the diode. The customer stated the suspension and hub were replaced by another company and I found them both in good condition. I calibrated the machine and ran the auto diagnostics cycle and high speed spin. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator making a loud motor grinding noise. The customer had a video of the RC fan making the noise. I explained that the noise was from it hitting ice. When I arrived the unit sounded normal. I ran the fan and it sounded normal. I found the RC average temp showing 37 degrees. The RC max temp was 70 and low temp was 32. I found some ice build up at the drip pan and some styrofoam causing the water to pool up and freeze not allowing it to go down the drain. I removed the styrofoam and the drain is clear. I ran turned the heater on and found it working as designed. I suspect the styrofoam was causing the water to stand in the pan and getting sucked back into the evaporator and fan causing premature ice and frost. The thermistors measured in range. I found no other issues. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a wall oven with the heater in the microwave hanging down. I found the porcelain support had broken. I was unable to pull the oven out. It will come forward between 2-3 inches and gets stuck. I showed the customer the install instructions and measurements. I also explained the the bottom of the cabinet needs to be solid wood where the entire hole in the cabinet is sealed for proper air flow. The customer is contacting the cabinet guy/installer. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not operating. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the heater is not working. While testing I placed my multimeter on the black wire at the junction box and tested amp draw to the element and got zero amps. I removed the outer door panel and tested the ohms readings to the element and got an open reading. I am ordering the element and scheduled return service for 08/07/23. Arrived onsite for refrigerator leaking water from icemaker. There is a service bulletin on the icemaker leaking onto the shelf below. On inspection found ice buildup from the icemaker on the shelf below the icemaker. Bulletin says to check the fill tube and if good replace icemaker. The fill tube was good so I replaced the icemaker and called for water. The icemaker filled with water from the service test 45. No more water leaking from the unit.

"Arrived onsite for oven not heating properly. On inspection turn the oven on to 350?. The oven only reached 125? in a 10 minutes. I turn the broil on and it only went to 135? in 10 minutes. I pulled unit out installed the control board, when power was restored the ui never turn on. I pulled back out and found that there was no voltage on L1 and L2 had 122vac. I showed the customer what was going on with the unit. The outlet had to moved so the oven would fit. They spliced a out in and mounted it in the right upper corner. They cut L slot for the neutral when they did not did E was no plate to cover the exposed wires in the original outlet. This not a safe way of connecting the oven. Took plenty of pics of the situation. Customer is going to contact the builder to fix the issue."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not filling up with enough water. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the washer does work and just finish out cycles but she does not feel like the unit filled with enough water to actually wash the clothes. She advised that she has had another company come out three times to replace the Control and Valve on this washer and has not seen any difference in her water level. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I did advise the customer that this washer is a low water washer and is pre-programmed based on your cycle selections and water settings. Do you have variances in water level, but that because of the water efficiency standards that are set by the government, the manufacturers hands are tied with how much water they can allow into the washer. Went over the years and care guide with the customer in the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with ignition taking more time on the front left burner more than the others. Found burner head loose and should be replaced. All checks good. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator still making noise. I found the condenser lines and cardboard protector buzzing causing the noise the customer was hearing. I added sound pads between the condenser and the bottom of the chassis. I taped the cardboard protector to the compressor pan. I adjusted the condenser lines. I tested the unit ramping the compressor and the noise was gone. I moved the unit back in place and leveled the machine then tested it again. I found the unit working as designed and it sounds normal. I found the toe kick not staying snapped on because it is warped in the center not allowing both outer clips to snap in place. "Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator that had lost cooling. Checked evaporator ans frost was building on it again. I put the unit in forced defrost and verified heater does come on. I replaced the control since thermistor has been done, and heater is working. I called tech line SR 7736983120. Discussed with tech line that the unit is on an extension cord plugged into the same outlet as the air conditioner, and this is very likely causing the issues with the unit. Found 116v at the plug. Advised customer that they need to install a dedicated outlet for the refrigerator, since sharing a circuit and outlet with the AC is going to cause interference. Tech line recommends unit being on a dedicated circuit before we try any other repairs. Repair completed."

Arrived on site for not heating. Upon arrival test polarity and is good. Ran vent test and failed. Uploaded picture on SD. Found element is fractured. Test fuse and sensors and are good. Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that was not running or powering on. Tested unit and found no response at console. Checked incoming voltage and found 1.2v only at L1. Checked breaker and found breaker tripped. Reset breaker and ran a diagnostic cycle. Unit passed diagnostic cycle with no issues. No error codes present. Foind no water leaks either. Unit appears to be working as designed. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect venthood leaking grease. Upon further inspection, I found the filters with a large amount of grease trapped in them (photo). Removed the perimetric panel and found a large amount of cooking grease in and around the filter trims. I found no grease anywhere else on the unit. I found where grease had dropped down the backsplash behind the unit (photo). I contacted techline and spoke to Robert and advised of the complaint and my findings. Robert provided a text and I provided photos of the issue. I advised that the customer has only used the unit 3 times to cook bacon & eggs twice and cooked hamburgers. Robert researched the unit on his side and found no service bulletins regarding this issue. Robert recommended placing the unit on high speed while cooking with greasy foods and provided SR#7736977531. I advised my customer of my conversation with the manufacturer tech support and their recommendations. I cleaned the grease from the trims and made recommendations for use and care. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the oven bake and broil do not work. I tested the bake and could hear the relay on the control pop, but arc from the ignitor. I removed the bottom panel and the warming drawer and found the ignitor connected. I retested and again heard the control relay but not arc from the ignitor. I got the same results with the broil. I removed and replaced the spark module and retested and the unit is operating as designed. I tested the cooktop burners and all are operating properly. I made recommendations for use and care. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher lights not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the start button light doesnt work and the left rack stop is missing. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit is operating as designed but the control start light does not illuminate. I found scratches on the top right side of the control panel (photo) from where a mo7 ting screw had been rubbing on the panel. I removed and replaced the main control and installed a rack stop on the left side from my van stock (WPW10082861) and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F8E4, F7E1, F9E2, FA (10) E2. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit failed to operate properly as the spray arms were not moving except the bottom and it was intermittent which could have possibly caused the unit to leak through the overflow ports into the drip pan bellow causing the F8E4 error. I found water in the drip pan, along with detergent in the water and it had gotten into the float and I could not get it all cleaned out. I removed the outer door panel and found the vent motor extremely hot (FAE2-F10E2). I removed and replaced the vent and retested and at the end of testing, the error code F7E1-sump/motor assembly failure appeared. I am ordering the sump/motor assembly and the float switch and scheduled return service for 08/07/23. No water leaks observed at the end of service. ; ordrng 1 W11416362 (Sump/motor assembly) and 1 W11545764 (Float switch)"

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Installed the side lights but they still did not turn on. Took voltage at the light and there was only 2.5 vdc. Traced it back to the main light in the rc. Ordering a new main light. No water leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 W11226500 (Main rc light.)

"Arrived on site for freezer, inspected unit and work area. I installed my gauges to the access valve and drier and I had pressures of 65psi on the low and 93psi on high side. Customer explained unit was not cooling well. I replaced the compressor as it sounded louder than normal and installed new drier. I vacuumed the system for 15 min and then slowed 15 min additional to monitor pressures. No leaks where present so I charged the compressor with 4.6 R134. I asked the customer to allow 32 hrs for unit to cool since its in a garage. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still flashing an F4 E1 (wash heater relay open or feedback error) error code. Gained access to the control and checked resistance through the heater and thermistor and found the heater at 20 ohms of resistance, and the thermistor at 20 k ohms of resistance showing both were within range. I checked Continuity through the wire, harness and resistance through the wire harness to those components, while trying to shake the wire harness. Could not find any fluctuations in resistance, or breaks in continuity. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7736981612. He advised based on my checks that the issue would be with the control since we were able to verify continuity and same resistance on the heater and wash thermistor. I had replaced the control again and tested the unit. Found the unit flash an F3 E2 (Wash NTC open or shorted) error code flash as it was pulling in cold water. I check resistance again from the main control to the Thermistor and heater and found proper resistance. Went ahead and replace the heater and tested the unit again. Still found the same error message popped back up. Went ahead and replaced the control back to the old control to see if I had the same issue. Found that the old control still made the same error message whenever Ive ran it through diagnostics. I called Whirlpool Techline again and spoke to Rob SR# 7736981612. He advised that the only other issue that could cause this is the wire harness, and since we have replaced both the heater with the wash, NTC, thermistor and control twice, that would be the only thing left that we can replace. Ordering the Harness in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability.; ordrng 1 W11316058 (Wash NTC harness)"

Arrived onsite and found unit lower oven bake wiring had become dislodged and were grounding to the cabinet. Called whirlpool safety team to report findings. Repaired wiring. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. Documented findings with safety. Sr#7736924995

"Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and found at this time Tub is empty of water. Confirmed valve is not leaking and it is draining properly. Confirmed no water in overflow tray. Found reverse osmosis is sharing drain connection to garbage disposal, And there is no high drain loop. Took pictures, .Explained to homeowner that reverse osmosis company cannot do this and it is filling dishwasher When reverse osmosis purges. Reverse osmosis company will need to use a saddle drain type connector instead, Ran a diagnostic cycle to confirm operation of dishwasher, job complete"

Arrived onsite and tested unit for noise and found customer concerned about dry pump noise at beginning of cycle. Tested unit. No error codes. All functions operating as designed. All checks good. Advised customer on repair.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven with no power. Upon further inspection, I found the display blank and the panel keys would not respond. I checked the breaker and found it tripped. I cycled power and the unit powered on. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found none. I advised the customer that due to all of the construction in their neighborhood, its possible that they might have had a quick surge and caused the breaker to trip or someone turned the breaker off. I found the customer has the Whirlpool app downloaded on their phone and the unit connected to wifi. Unit is operating as designed. No repairs needed at this time. Job completed."
