"Arrived on site for E01 AND F08 ERROR CODES - UNIT STOPS MID CYCLE AND NOT SPINNING CLOTHES DRY. Placed in diagnostics and F8E1, F1E1 came on. Cleared error codes and ran quick diagnostics cycle. C6 took more time than it should to complete the cycle. Gained access to rear and found pressure hose was damaged with a hole and no longer mounted to clip being reason for F8E1. Also found main control faulty based on diagnostics test and error code F1E1. for control (WPW10701570) and hose (W11044559)

Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival confirmed issue and after further testing I found u it had major defrost issue in fc. Verified thermistor was still operating within specs. Found both fans and compressor running. Found control failing to send power to unit. Replaced Control and removed all ice from evap coil. Informed customer to give unit 24-48 hrs to stabilize temps and fill ice bin back up. Call complete

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit is stopping within the first few minutes or at least the first 20 minutes of the cycle. They advised that the unit does not seem to complete the cycle and its intermittent as to when it actually shuts off. They did indicate that the unit flashes the clean LED when it does not finish the cycle. Ran through diagnostics and found an F9 E1. Check the drain portion of the dishwasher and did confirm that the dishwasher had issues draining properly. Checked the garbage disposal and found the garbage disposal full of junk. Cleaned out the garbage disposal and tested the unit again. The dishwasher still had an issue. Checked the drain pump and found debris inside the drain pump area remove the debris and test the unit several times. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived to inspect gas freestanding range gas smell. Powered the oven on and found the bake and broil both work properly. The smell was from the bake igniter reigniting during the normal bake cycle. The natural smell is normal. No leaks detected. Job complete

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is making an electric sound and is shutting down th dryer after starting a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit after she initially starts it will run for about 2 to 3 minutes but will be making a labored sound and as soon as that electric sound happens, the timer will continue to run but nothing else happens for the complete rest of the cycle. She advised that itll be several hours until the unit will work and then unplugging or flipping off the breaker and flipping it back on does not do anything. I checked voltage going to the unit and found proper voltage and polarity at the plug. The customer advised they recently had the breaker replaced. Tested the unit a time dry cycle and found the unit running as designed for over 10 minutes without making the same sound. Attempted to replicate the issue several more times and could not replicate the issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7732683699. He advised that based on the sound of the complaint, the issue would most likely be with the overload tripping on the motor due to too little voltage or too much voltage being supplied when this is happening. But because voltage is showing correct right now it is most likely that that is why the unit is working as designed. He advised to have the customer call back if further issues persisted but to first check with an electrician about the electrical supply prior to having return service. Checked all connections underneath unit to the motor and could not find any pinched wiring or connection issues. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for Clunk or Clunking Noise - Top Load Washer. Placed in diagnostics and got F0E7. No other error codes came on. Cleared error code. Ran diagnostics and washer performing as designed. Placed in drain and spin. Ran full cycle to hear noise. Had customer come in to listen for clunking noise and identified as the belt slipping a bit when going into spin from agitate. Removed belt and installed new belt. Had customer listen for noise in component activation and it was gone with new belt installed. Job completed.

Arrived on site to inspect ice maker arm not cycling properly. Confirmed the complaint and replaced the defective ice maker.

Pressures held at -30/0. Installed 4.8oz of R134a refrigerant and monitor pressures. Pressures were good at -1/120 and unit is cooling as designed. Recommended that the customer not place anything in the unit until they get back from vacation (10 days). No water connections to the unit, job completed."

Arrived for dryer with long dry time. Upon arrival customer informed me that she runs the dryer on low temp. I performed and airflow test and found that it is good. And found unit heating. Unit operating as designed. I advised customer to use medium or high temp to dry her clothes. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite and tested fridge for chemical smell and taste throughout affecting unsealed food and ice and dispensed water. Cooling well. No cooling issue. Fridge is also clean. Detected hint of bleach flavor in the water which narrowed problem to a water system issue. Airborn smell could be reasonably attributed to ice in bin. Advised customer that aside from flushing water system conventionally, there are no approved treatments or repairs for water system cleansing.

Arrived onsite for to cold in freezer. Upon arrival checked temperature. Freezer temperature at 2-4 degrees. Customer complained due to frost buildup on food product on the upper rack of the freezer. Unit has warm air migration. Upon inspection found gap in liner on upper portion of freezer compartment. Sealed gap. Customer will monitor. Job complete

Arrived on for dryer making noise when in uses. Upon inspection I found the belt loos/stretched. I installed new belt and tested unit and found that the noise had gone. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for washer not spinning correctly. Put unit in diagnostics and found stored error code Fault code 26 unbalanced load. Ran test cycle and found noise coming from underneath unit. Found belt worn. Replaced cam and belt and tested. Noise stopped. Ran spin test and did reach full spin RPM. Customer also complained about beeping noise from console. Stated previous company replaced control board. Checked programming and found control not programmed correctly. Was on version 12 and should have been on 11. Reprogrammed and saved. Still heard some intermittent beeping. Reset unit and beeping stoped. If symptoms persist recommend replacing main control, console and ordering lid switch. Job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burners arcing. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the front left burner will be on and the back left burner will begin to arc. I tested the front left burner and found when the ignitor arcs, all of the other burners ignitors arc which is normal. I did find that while the front left burner is on, the other burners will arc. I found service pointer W10540279-A and it states that due to this issue fo the other ignitors arcing while using the front left burner to replace the burner head. I am ordering the front left burner head, burner cap, griddle cover and ignitor harness. Office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is tripping the breaker intermittently. I inspected the breaker to find it a GFCI breaker and when turning power back on, it has a red LED flashing meaning the breaker needs to be replaced (photo). I cycled power and placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed. During testing, I tested amp draw to the components and all are within amp draw range. I made recommendations for use and care as the customer has a water softener system, as well as, recommendations for detergent and rinse aid use. Also recommended that they have a certified electrician look at the breaker. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a range with the lower oven that was not working. I gained access to the ignitor and then tested the unit. I found the lower oven bake ignitor not getting red at all. Upon further inspection I found the ignitor harness broken. I installed the new ignitor and then tested the unit. I found the unit now working as designed

Arrived onsite to replace parts as previously ordered by previous tech. Upon further testing of the unit. Only found that the heating element needed to be replaced. Replaced heating element. Tested the unit. Unit tested good. Job complete

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Spoke to TG and was advised to replace the light switch. Replaced light switch and tested the unit. The unit still wouldnt light. Replaced one of the light assemblys. Found that light turn on but the other not illuminate. Replaced the other and both lights began to work as designed. Checked the motor and found the motor making a weird sound as the fan was running.

I tested the door and it is opening as designed. I pulled the upper rack out and found it rubbing against the left side of the tub and pulling on the gasket. I adjusted the rack and tested and it is operating as designed. I tested the 3rd level rack and it is normal/operating as designed. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and continued with testing. Unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer stopping during a cycle. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and it came on and I could hear the burner turn on. I turned the unit off and then tested again and this time while pressing the start button, the unit failed to come on, but I could hear the relay clicking. I tested voltage and the unit is getting 123V. When I went to test voltage at the burner relay, I got 0V and the unit failed to turn on.I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Homeowner complaint is also about residue left on glassware. If you wet your finger the residue wipes right off. This is excess soap, took a short video of dishwasher running and how much soap buildup is still in it is visible. Recommended that a machine cleaner, dishwasher magic, lemme shine be used to remove salt buildup inside dishwasher. Dishwasher is functioning normally, job complete"

"Arrived on site and inspected range and found residents are experiencing it not igniting. While attempting to measure amp draw on igniter gas ignited and is now heating properly. Started oven multiple times and sent a short video to PR. It is possible the gas valve is starting to fail.

"Arrived on site for cooktop not burning evenly and having a gas smell. Upon arrival the customer stated that the real issue was the flame did not have enough high to low fluctuations. I tested the unit and found that the valves needed to be adjusted for flame height. I adjusted the valves and then had the customer verify it is now a good fluctuation. I also found the customer on propane, and their prior unit had been gas. I informed the customer that the propane flames will be different than the gas, and the gas has greater fluctuation in height. I found the unit working as designed.

"Arrived on site and found F01 showing on display. homeowner has never used oven, uses it only for storage. Error code is showing because temperature sensor has failed. Used an old temperature sensor to clear error code, no prescreened parts. Oven is technically working however temperature reading is likely to be off. customer asked about replacing igniters specifically front metal is not working. I found all orifice holder mounting screws are rusted and or stripped.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Check the freezer in found massive defrost issue inside the freezer section with frost building up 4 to 6 inches off of the evaporator cover. Faster so bad that it was enveloping several items inside the freezer. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found the defrost sensor out. ; ordrng 1 W11545823 (Harness) and 1 WP2315549 (Evaporator motor) and 1 WPW10495967 (Heater)

"Arrived onsite and tested unit for ongoing ice sticking in the chute and clogging. Mechanically the unit is sound. The ice door is sealing and will hold water during test. Unit constantly jams with ice cubes. And they stick to the chute worse after some moisture is present from the shards of the last call for ice. Techline unavailable with scheduled training meeting at time of service. Other than large ice cube theory, which would indicate the control is not timing the fill properly. No further recommendations for repair."

Arrived on site for Not Heating - Electric Dryer. Took temp and dryer was not heating. Tested fuse and it was getting continuity. Gained access to element and found coils had broken. Removed element and installed new element. Tested dryer and it is heating as designed. Job completed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that was not starting or running cycles. If you open the door start just blinks. Found no response at all from the start or cancel buttons, so you cant actually engage a cycle. Unit needs a new switch membrane and possibly control.

"Arrived on site for no upper lights in fresh food section. Diagnosed a defective led module,replaced upper back led module,after replacement all leds working as designed.

"Arrived on site to test unit for leak from left side door. Found hinge screws was very loose on inner door part preventing door from sealing properly. "Arrived on site for washer leaking water in tub when off. Inspected unit and work area. Gained access to timer and measured voltage to inlet valve with unit in off position. Found inlet valve solenoid not closing all the way. Will need to replace inlet valve assembly to repair.Turned water off at street and had customer turn off faucet in home. Removed failed inlet valve and installed new. Assembled unit and turned water back on. Inspected connection to repair inlet valve. Tested operation and found unit working as designed. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher with the upper rack not being able to be pulled out and pushed in properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that it is the same exact issue as the prior service, but now on the opposite side. Upon further inspection I found that the back right side wheel on the upper rack had come off of the track. This was allowing the wheel to get caught on the track, and preventing the upper rack from performing as designed. I adjusted the track and put the wheels back in properly. I then inspected the adjusters and tracks. I found no damage or bends on them. I tested the upper rack and it is now working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator making noises when in use. On arrival could hear noises coming from unit, sounded like back / bottom. Confirmed a vibration / rattle coming from the floorboard of the unit. Condenser fan frame was bent causing vibrations. Insulated under condenser fan and compressor support and verified noise was resolved. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for unit leaking from the front bottom left of the door. Looked at the unit and upon further inspection, found that the small elbow that feeds the water through the manifold was not fully inserted into the manifold, causing the water to shoot towards the door causing the leak to happen. Also let customer know the spray arms were clogged with food and some paper. Customer cleaned the arms. Tested the unit further to check for leaks. No leaks at this time. Job complete"

Arrived onsite and found self clean had blown main fuse and tod. Replaced fuses. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good.

"Arrived on site for a wall oven with no power. Upon arrival the customer stated that they had opened the microwave door and then the unit died. I cycled the breaker for three minutes, and the unit still did not turn on. Due to this I gained access to the inside of the unit in order to check incoming voltage. I powered the unit down at the breaker to remove the unit, and when I cycled it back on the unit was now turning on. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F9E0 for product not wired correctly. I checked voltage at the junction on the wall and found it good, and I found the power cord wired/connected correctly. I gained access to the main control and checked incoming voltage at the J8 and K3 connectors. I found voltage good on both. I tested the unit and found it running as designed now. I informed the customer of my findings, and that it is possible we may need to replace the main control. However, I found the unit as designed at the time of service.

"Arrived on site for Loud noise when washing, possible agitation. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran manual diagnostics and in agitation it gave a very loud ratcheting noise when agitating. Gained access to gear case, splutch and motor. Removed dust cover and couldnt find any evidence of oil. Removed belt and spun motor. Windings inside motor were the cause of the ratcheting noise. Cam and splutch looked good. Removed motor and installed new motor. Ran calibration and washer is no longer making any noise in agitation or spin. Found all four legs were in the highest position. Lowered all four legs to raise the washer up to prevent dust cover from making contact with floor and give additional support when a heavy load is ran. Made sure washer was balanced and even.

Arrived on site to test unit for not starting and making loud noise. Test unit and found noise coming from drain motor. Found something stuck in the drain motor removed test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that has paint chipping. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint but found the paint chipping inside of the drum.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not producing ice. Inspected unit and work area. Performed diagnostics mode and cycled ice maker. Found ice maker cycling only when advancing and not sending voltage to inlet valve. Will need to replace ice maker with wiring harness. Removed failed ice maker with harness. Rinsed new ice maker out. Installed new ice maker with harness. Monitored ice maker cycle without advancing. Tightened left RC door handle and calibrated water fill. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived onsite for unit still shutting off. Customer says that about 10min in the unit will shut off. F0E3 off balance F2E1 ui stuck button. Erased codes. Tested the unit through automatic diagnostics and unit passed with no issues. Found that the lid is kind of coming apart. Called Techline to report all findings and possibly the issue that may be resolved. Said that if the load is too large when the unit is shaking and causing the off balance load will cause the unit to shut down if its too much of a shake for the unit, said for the customer to get a video of the issue so we may better have an understanding as too what is being washed and when it happens.

"Arrived on site and inspected microwave and found customer noticed a volume change while microwave is running. Also key selections no longer have a tone when pressed. Found tones were turned off and set up menu and after correct in that part is working properly. Ran microwave several times and it is heating properly and cooling fan sounds normal.

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop damage. Upon further inspection, I found the control panel badly scratched. I removed and replaced the panel and installed the nameplate. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I relocated the model/serial placard to the bottom of the unit for easy access. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dryer with long dry times, and lint not getting caught. I tested airflow with my airflow test kit and found it poor for all dryers. I then checked temperature fluctuations at the vent with it on and off. I found it running as designed with the vent off, but with the vent on there was almost no fluctuation at all. I then removed the dryer vent at the wall and found a ball of lint completely covering the tube. This is what is causing poor airflow in the unit, and in turn causing long dry times. This is also why no lint is getting caught in the trap, for there is no airflow. I informed the customer of my findings and recommended they get a professional vent cleaner to remove any lint. I advised them on not running the unit for safety concerns until this is done. I found the unit running as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a wall oven with a console display not working. Upon further inspection I found the cavity lights still turning on. This indicates a faulty console. I replaced the console and then tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a wall oven not heating properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that when baking, the unit will not reach preheat temps. I gained access to the back of the unit and ohmd out all elements and the sensor. I found the broil element and the sensor good. However, the bake element was open and faulty. Therefore the unit would need a new bake element to repair. I installed the new element and then tested the unit. I preheat the unit in bake to 350?F. The unit is now working as designed.

Pulled the unit out and removed the back cover to find oil on the bottom panel next to the compressor. I found where oil leaked from the lokring connecting the steel line to the copper (photos). I advised the customer of my findings. I am ordering a sealed system repair consisting of the compressor, access valve, UV dye drier and both evaporators and CNOTE-3HOUR JOB. Due to the model number not showing in service matters, I am ordering a CNOTE-PARTS RESEARCH FOR ALL PARTS MENTIONED. "Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling, tested unit found evap motor not working, replaced motor and functions returned, unit was getting a rattling sound coming from back of unit, exposed compressor and noticed that the condensation fan is not running and compressor extremely hot to touch, customer stated that unit unit was not cooling since they got the refrigerator, so compressor was running on high for 7 days without turning off, spoke to senior tech and was advised to order condenser motor, start device, capacitor and control as Precautionary, advised customer to power down unit until the repair is made to prevent damage to compressor causing sealed system,office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W10854034 (Condenser fan) and 1 8201786 (Start device) and 1 WPW10350564 (Capacitor) and 1 W11203924 (Control)"
