Pointed out decal on rear bulkhead that explains this. Customer was confused as to why his eggs were freezing on the third shelf down. "Arrived on site for a range that wont heat properly. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F1 E0 (main control failure) error code. I asked the customer if theyve ever seen that error code before and they had mentioned that they had maybe one time. Ran the unit through testing on the bake and broil elements. Found the bake element would not heat but the Boyle Element Wood. Gained access to the back and check continuity through the bake element. Found it open. Went to remove bake element but could not gain access to the element. Spoke to service management team for advice and was advised to call Techline. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7732762095. He had me video chat him for 30 minutes to see if we could get the big element replaced. After several attempts, we could not gain access to the element to remove. He advised at this point because the service manual and technical data sheets did not indicate whether this element could be replaced or not, he would report all the findings and photos to review. He advised me to tell the customer that whirlpool and be in contact with them or us depending on the next steps. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not spitting out clothes or draining. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit wont go into the spin cycle because it doesnt drain out fully. I confirmed the customers complaint and found the unit not fully drained of water. The unit immediately went into a drain when the unit was plugged in and could not hear any movement of water. Removed water from the unit and access the drain pump. Found no obstructions within the drain pump and the drain pump bad.

Also found customer is experiencing water on the bottom of the fresh food section, took one pitcher. Removed fresh food evaporator cover and found drain is working properly, foil edge on the evaporator cup has deteriorated and Styrofoam on evaporator cover is beginning to disintegrate. Added foil tape to attempt to restructure drain and correct water path. If this does not work a new evaporator cover will be needed. Also found door Molien is worn at the top and a spring is missing that keeps it straight when the door is closed. Raised left foot so that Molean goes into receiver again.

At least two other companies have been on site and rebuilt cooktop completely. Including cooktop surface, customer is aware that some pots and pans are better than others. The pan shown in his video is very wobbly and should never be used again. The largest pan in the video works best and the reddish/pink one although working is not as quick to heat as the large pan in the video. T

On inspecting the unit it was severely off level and diving to one side. Checked the basket and found the hub had play and the basket could move. They showed me pictures and the ice buildup wasn't massive, and looked like an air leak. Checked Temps and found both RC and FC are both about 10-12 degrees high. Compressor is scalding hot. Unit isn't cooling well enough due to a weak or failed sealed system.

Now during the service call the evaporator looks normal and there is no excessive moisture or frost in the freezer section. Gained access to control and measured resistance on heating element circuit and found opened. Gained access to resettable fuse and tested resistance and found closed. Measured resistance at control on heating circuit again and found 26 ohms. Measured resistance on thermistor at 9.26 K. Performed diagnostics mode and measured amp draw to heater and found 6.9 amps. Found heater working. Found resettable fuse was at fault.

Gained access to evaporator and found molex connector that comes from the main harness to the heater connector was not plugged in. This is why frost accumulation would not melt eventually causing no cooling. Researched notes from my self and previous tech. We never accessed the evaporator for the in warranty repairs. Also noticed at some point between our previous visit and today someone other than us replaced the thermistor. I know this because the thermistor was wrapped with foil tape and zip tied. This is not the way they come from the factory. IT IS the way we recommend replacing the thermistor, so it was done correctly.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Found suction line collapsed when I removed the RC evaporator cover. Also found evaporator housing was cracked. Called new warranty to report my findings and spoke to David. Ordering compressor, evap housing W11435997, access valve TJ90SF8404, service tap W10913906, non uv drier W10843121, tubing kit and evaporator W11492867. Will return with all parts. Drain pan (returning with) will need replacement. Customer stated the fridge cools better than the freezer which is odd based on the suction line in the RC being collapsed. I took pictures of the collapsed suction line.
