"Arrived on site for Not Making Ice - Side by Side Refrigerator. Customer explained ice maker started making ice again. Customer replaced water filter recently. Removed cover to inspect harness beneath freezer door. All wires looked good and no damage was present. Gained access to ice maker and found ice mold had cubes inside. Ran an ice harvest and motor twisted tray allowing ice cubes to fall. I heard the water fill the ice mold while I was diagnosing it. Found a small amount of ice on the tip of the water fill tube, but nothing to prevent water from traveling through line to fill ice mold. No leaks detected. Job completed."

Arrived on site for Red light is coming on when it should not be On CONTROLS-ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOARD ERROR. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Customer stated lid lock light would turn on and off while it was running. Ran through manual diagnostics and lid lock was latching and unlatching as designed. Customer showed me a video of washer running and lid lock light was blinking sporadically while spinning. Gained access to the lid latch and it was connected properly. Tested resistance to lid latch and it was out of range. Removed faulty lid latch and installed new lid latch. Ran through auto diagnostics and washer completed all cycles without issue. Job completed.

Arrived onsite for unit shutting off randomly. Customer said it would shut off during a cycle. Tested the unit in automatic diagnostics. Got no error codes to start with. Let the unit run through entire diagnostics and unit stayed on with no issues.

Arrived onsite to replace spark igniter. Upon trying to get to the igniter to replace the part. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Removed evaporator cover and checked resistance through the heater. Found the resistance of the heater at 29.8 ohms. Checked resistance through the freezer wire harness and through the heater and found proper resistance. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Anthony SR# 7732129406. He had me check continuity between both yellow wires from the cabinet that we?re going through the thermal fuses and the heater to make sure that both fuses weren?t knocked out. We did not find continuity between that whole circuit meaning the issue with what would?ve been with one of the fuses. He did advise that generally speaking when technicians steam off or use a heat gun to remove ice around the evaporator, it can blow one of the thermal fuse is due to the high temperature of the water, steam, or heat. He asked me to check voltage and service test 89 to ensure that the plug at the freezer harness was still getting proper voltage. I gave the freezer thermistors an ice bath for a few minutes and entered into service test 89. Found only 16 V going through between both yellow wires at the freezer harness plug. He had me verify that by checking between each lined and ground and found only 4 V AC coming through both lines. He then had me check voltage at the control to make sure that it was sending proper voltage to the heater. Checked voltage at the control and found 120 V AC going to the heater. He vented had me check one more time at the harness connector in the freezer to ensure that we were not receiving proper voltage and received the same figures.He advised at that time that there Hass to be a break in the wire harness inside the cavity of the refrigerator due to the fact that the control is sending proper voltage to the heater but there is no voltage at the freezer connector.

"I arrived on site to diagnose microwave vent fan not working properly, upon arrival I gained access to the unit found that the vent housing above the microwave was not properly sealed, i gained access between the microwave and the vent and found that the damper is positioned properly and the blower motor is operating properly as designed but the vacuum in the vent housing isnt proper due to air leaks. I utilized my silver tape and sealed the vent box above the microwave properly and now the unit is operating properly as designed. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not draining. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit stopped draining and he?s been able to get it drain one other time since but it has continued to not drain. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E2 (drain valve electrical problem), F6 E4 (float switch open), and F8 E1 (slow drain) error codes. Tested the unit in an auto test and found the unit would not drain. Vacuumed out the excess water and remove the drain pump. Found a piece of glass in obstructing the impeller causing the issue. Remove the piece of glass from the drain pump assembly and tested unit three times. The unit begin to drain and operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived to inspect dryer not starting. Confirmed the complaint and tested incoming voltage and got 240 volts. Disassembled and found the thermal fuse was blown causing the malfunction. R&R it and unit now functioning properly. Customer satisfied. Job Complete

Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed sealed system repair. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue. Installed all previously diagnosed parts. Pulled and held vacuum then recharged system with 5.0oz of refrigerant per unit requirements. Lund equalized pressures at 45H/L sides. After restoring power found compressor failing to start/run. Amp draw was 11.24 amps. Tried new start device and found same results. Found compressor failing. Will need new compressor ordered. Arrived on site and inspected dryer scraping noises. Confirmed the complaint and found the unit had obvious signs of being dropped. The back panel was bent into the blower housing causing the continuing scraping. I corrected the issue by bending the sheet metal to its original location and the scraping stopped. Job complete

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised the unit does make ice but that comes down in sheets and has broken their ice bin. They advised that the unit no longer makes actual cubes but just sheets of ice. Confirm the customers complaint. Checked water supply to the unit and found the icemaker overfilling. Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival customer stated unit had showed some temp issues also. After further inspection found unit cooling as designed but also found heavy signs of ice formations in both compartments of unit in odd areas. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not starting new cycles after one has finished. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had left the unit in the last part of a prior cycle to show what was happening and once we started a new wash cycle, the unit did start right away. The unit sensed and filled as designed. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F5 E4 (lid not opened between cycles) error code. I canceled that cycle and attempted to start a new cycle. The unit still began to work and operate as designed. The customer David they are having to reset the unit after each cycle. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Joel SR# 7732193573. He advised that because the unit shares a breaker with a refrigerator, the lights in the utility room, and another wall outlet, the control is acting erratically due to the strain on the electrical circuit. He advised that no other repairs can be made until the unit is on its own dedicated circuit to the washer and that I need a dedicated circuit would most likely fix his issue. After further inspection I found cause was due to external drain motor failing to allow 120v to pass to main control and rest of unit. Arrived onsite for microwave with digits missing on display or display dead. Upon inspection I found the display looked dim. I accessed the control and found grease build up behind the panel. I replaced the display board. I did find the communication wire between the display and main control is crimped. I re assembled the the panels and tested the unit. It is working as designed. I noticed the customer had black mesh grease covers around their burner heads on the range. I advised against this and explained to them the affect the heat and steam deflected off the range can have on these microwave electronics. The customer seemed to understand. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and found the element not coming on. Disassembled the unit and found the element had shorted out and the middle metal plate badly burnt and warped. Also found the repair kit (rollers, tension pulley roller and belt) was badly worn.I removed and replaced the heating element, four rollers, tension pulley roller and belt. I cleaned the roller axles and vacuumed the lint from the unit (photos). Reassembled the unit and tested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service. Arrived on site for washer not working. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the unit unplugged and the water off. I plugged the unit in and turned the water on. I found the water valve stuck open and continually filling the tube. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit making a screeeching noise during the start of a spin. I gained access to the gearcase and found no signs of it failing. I found the belt loose. I am ordering an inlet valve and belt to complete the repair. Arrived on site for The washer is making a really loud noise during the spin cycle. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Placed in high speed spin the agitate. I could hear something rattling and or scraping. Removed dust cover and found a plastic stamp that was wedged underneath the dust cover causing a crack in the dust cover. Removed remaining broken pieces from the dust cover and removed broken plastic underneath washer. Inspected wash plate and found four pennies between wash plate and basket. Used hook and straight tools to remove four pennies. Placed washer in agitate and spin and noises were gone. Showed customer what I found and expressed the importance of removing items from pockets prior to running washer to prevent additional items getting lodged inside basket and wash plate. Job completed.

Arrived on site for Range not up to temperature. Customer stated it gets to temp but is actually not the preheated temp they set it to. Customer was using a thermometer to gauge temp. Explained this would never be accurate based on how the oven heats. Ran three sets of temps to get average temp. First high temp 424. First low temp 311 average of 367. Second high temp 382. Second low temp 313 average of 347. Third high temp 394. Third low temp 314 Average of 353The Average of the three temps taken is 355. Oven is within the 10-12 degree range of 350. "Arrived on site for double oven, lower oven not heating and upper will not stop heating unless reset the circuit breaker. Inspected unit and work area. Performed diagnostics mode and checked fault codes. Found fault code F6-E4 miss communication between controls. Performed component testing and found bake nor broil heating. Uninstalled unit to gain access control and thermal fuse. Found fuse opened/failed. Removed failed fuse and installed new. Assembled unit and reinstalled. Found service pointer W11525545 addressing power off issue and will need software update. Assisted customer on connecting unit to WiFi. All tested good."

"Arrived onsite to replace previously diagnosed parts. Replaced dispenser, control, valve, drain pump and latch. Powered unit and had no change in results. Called tech line for assistance. Ran checks on all components and all tested fine. Found that control had burned out again. Found that unit is not on dedicated line and is connected to GFCI outlet Circuit. Tech line recommended having customer have electrician out to set to dedicated breaker and off of GFCI. After that is done tech recommended replacing the control. Provided SR#7732201952. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and the unit failed to heat and the element failed to illuminate at the back left vent area. I removed the back panel and tested the element, cutoffs, thermostat and fuse and found the element and the hi-limit cutoff bad. I removed and replaced the element and cutoffs and retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to replace previously ordered parts for dryer. Replaced motor due to failed pulley and belt. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time.

"Arrived on site for customer complaint of error code, unit not finishing cycle, and unit running drain pump. Found float switch was activated due to water in overflow pan, I removed door, found leak coming from bottom lip of tub due unit leaning forward, I adjusted the feet so dishwasher is now leaning slightly back, tested good. ; O-emld tckt"

Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking. I inspected the unit and work area. i found the lower rack wheels broken. I found the upper rack adjusters broken. I put the unit into a diagnostics cycle. I found it leaking from the diverter valve. I replaced the sump and motor assembly. I retested the unit. Iy is working as designed.
