Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling properly. Found condenser was extremely clogged preventing compressor from getting proper air flow causing compressor to overheat and kick off on thermal. Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. I tried to use the spacer that were sent to help level the door. They were to small to go on the hinge. I used a washer from my truck to lift the door. You can only use 1 washer or the sleeve for the hinge does not fit back on the hinge correctly. I got the door pretty close by using the 1 washer and adjusting the feet. No water leaks detected during service.

"WTW8127LW1 GP arrived on site to inspect washer making loud noise. Customer stated that in certain cycles it sounds like rocks in a blender and the basket would not stop spinning unless they cut power to the unit. Upon inspection I found that the gearcase oil had leaked out and there was an excessive amount of debris on the upper shaft. Replaced the gearcase, rotor and slider. Reassembled and calibrated the unit. Ran diagnostic cycle and the unit completed it with no errors. Informed customer of my findings and advised them on use and care of the unit. "Arrived on site to diagnose dryer with damaged control panel. On arrival found dryer was in a very tight fit spot directly under/touching some shelves in the room. I found the right end cap was broken due to the dryer having to be shoved into this spit that is too small for it. However, with the panel being broken the unit is actually usable and can sit angled to get the door open, so repairing this will actually render the unit unusable/or will likely re-break due to the panel being forced against a wooden shelf. I am not making a repair since the unit works properly, the panel is just too wide for the spot the unit is in, so if we resecured that panel customer could not use. Pictures added. Call complete."

Upon inspection I found that the rotor bolt loose I inspected the rotor and found no damage I then tightened down the bolt. The removed the drain pump and found that it was not clogged I tested it with my meter and found that it tested within spec. I tested the unit and found unit operating as designed.

I checked the cam and found quite a bit of plastic fouling inside indicative of grinding. Removed and replaced the cam and shifter and calibrated the unit. Ran automatic test and the unit passed with no water leaks observed during service.

Found 120 V at the terminal block but no voltage at the control. Checked continuity on the wire harness and found continuity, and as soon as checking, continuity, found the control come on and illuminate, indicating an issue with the thermal fuse turned the power back off and checked all my loads. Found all loads checking good except for the drain pump which was shorted out. Ordering the drain pump and in-line thermal fuse and will return with the control as well just in case. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not starting any cycles and has water inside of the drum. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and found the whole basket full of water and clothes. The customer use the shop vac to vacuum out the water out of the tub. Checked underneath the unit and found, the drain pump cover had dropped causing one of the wires to be separated from the drain pump connector. Spliced on a spade with some shrink wrap to repair the wire connector. Tested the unit and the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. Went to check voltage at the terminal block and found the terminal block blown on the line one side and the power cord completely detached on the line one side from the terminal block. Went ahead and replaced the terminal block and fixed the wiring but I did advise the customer that their power cord is no longer able to be used and they will need a new power cord to complete the full repair. Call complete.

(SV)Arrived on site for ITS MAKING TOO MUCH ICE complaint. Found IM was completely full to the top. Cutting grid had multiple layers of ice stuck due to amount of ice beneath it. Checked resistance of original bin thermistor found 4k ohms while buried in ice. Out of specs. Replaced and verified main reads bin thermistor in diag test mode. Cleared tub of all ice as it was severely degraded. Unit then began to make ice correctly. Advised 24hrs for full ice production.

I ran the service diagnostics cycle and found the washer completing the cycle with the lid locking and working as designed. I tried running a wash cycle and when start is depressed and the lights scroll across the screen the lid will not lock. I ran a factory calibration cycle and had the same results in a wash cycle. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator door issues. Upon further inspection, I found the right RC door slightly sitting out further than the left RC door. I leveled the unit and was able to get the right door within 1/8 inch of being flush with the left RC door. I demonstrated to the customer how the door closes and the right door is closer than before being seated even with the left RC door. Customer was good with the adjustment. "Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher with FA E4 error. Examined unit and was clarified its F8E4, and unit has water in the float switch. I ran the unit and saw water dripping out the front right corner of the unit. I noticed the level of the unit has a forward dive, so water is running over the tub lip. When I raised the front of the unit by pulling it on the tile, the leaking stopped. Leak is likely being caused by tidal waving at the front of the unit due to the downward slope. Repositioned unit with a rear slope and verified leak stopped. Repair completed"

Arrived onsite on cooktop burner not sparking. On inspection the only burner not sparking was the right back burner. Gain access to the burner and found the spark wire was pinched and created a ground. Moved the wire to a safe area and tested the burner. The burner is igniting now and no gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for filter housing not working. On inspection I found that he by pass cap was on the filter head and would not come off by hand. Removed the by pass with a pair of pliers and installed a filter for the customer. I reset the filter setting on the unit for the customer. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to leak several cups of water where they are having to mop up their floor in the kitchen when it does leak. I ran the unit through an auto test and was unable to replicate the issue through the entire diagnostic testing. I ran the unit through a normal wash cycle and sat and watched it for 30 minutes, it finally started leaking from the corner of the door but when I opened up the door and paused it, I could not find any water on the inside where the detergent was sitting. Attempted to replicate the issue again for another 20 minutes, and was unable to. Due to the issue leaking from the door in the door, hinge area, replaced the door gasket and tested the unit. The unit was working and operating as designed with no leaks present during operation. I told the customer to call us back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for heat coming out of oven. On inspection the area where the heat is coming out of on the wall mount oven is the vent. The issue is that it is right below the cooktop. If you have the oven on and try to cook on the cooktop the hot air from the oven is right on top of your feet. This setup is a safety issue caused by a bad location of the oven. The unit was not secured to the cabinets because the cooktop regulator will not allow the oven to be pushed all the way back so you can mount the oven to the cabinets with screws. Informed the customer to contact the builder to get this resolved before somebody get burn from the hot air coming out of the oven while they cook. Took pics of the regulator and the wires that are exposed in the wall, no wall plate."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace a locked up compressor. I confirmed the compressor was tripping the overload due to locked rotor. I replaced the compressor, drier, and added an access valve on the new compressor. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 68 grams of R600A. I tested the unit and found it cooling down and working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont drain and has no power. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found standing water inside the unit. Unplugged the unit and checked resistance to the drain pump. Found an open line to the drain pump. Checked resistance at the drain pump itself and found power resistance registering 19.6 ohms resistance. Replaced the wire harness and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

(Sv)Upon arrival found water filter housing was not ejecting the filter. Filter removed easily with pick. Replaced filter housing. Unit now has good water flow and no leaks.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not getting water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. Customer advised that, even on the deep fill selection, the unit is not filling enough and their clothing is coming out of the wash not clean and dry in spots. I calibrated the unit and tested in a Normal wash with Deep Water Fill and the unit operated as designed. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher spray arms not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F4E3-motor failure. I continued with testing and the unit filled with water and the motor failed to come on. I advanced through testing and the dispenser, drain pump and element all operated as designed. I removed the outer door panel and inspected the control and it was good. I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly and retested and unit is operating as des. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that keeps showing a Check vent screen when the customer is running a load. Inspected unit and work area. Check the vent hose off the back of the dryer and found no issues with the dryer vent going into the wall. I asked the customer to see where their dryer vent goes, and when I got up to the attic entrance, we found the vent making multiple 90? turns to get around a wall and up out of the corner of the roof. The venting system that they have beyond the multiple 90? turns is also very long and its probably over 65-75 feet between the dryer and where it vents out to. I explain to the customer that their venting is too long and with the multiple 90? turns, the machine cant push the air out because it was not strong enough to vent that far. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Austin SR# 7737303995. He advised that based on the venting situation, there would be no way that this dryer could ever vent out with the vent the way that it stands right now. He advised that they will need to update their venting to allow for proper airflow. He advised to make no repairs at this time and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher leaking water on the floor. The customer stated it leaks water at the front left corner and the door doesnt stay down like it use to. I found both pads broken causing the door issue. I found the dispenser leaking water when running diagnostics and I showed the customer. I replaced the dispenser. Ordering 2EA friction pad.
