I advised the CX there are several methods of cooktop lockout and this one is solenoid driven, and must have line VAC present to maintain gas supply to the cooktop. I demonstrated by igniting one of the burners and unplugging the unit, causing the cooktop gas supply to be interrupted and the flame to extinguish. "WRT112CZJZ00 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. I found the unit would not cool as it should and the capillary tube from the dye drier to the cabinet was very cold and coated with condensation. This denoted a restriction and I removed and replaced the drier and tested. The restriction was within the capillary tube area that is compressed by the Lokring connector and the connector caused the issue. The unit cooled as designed and all functions were present. The condensate pan would not fit in place due to incorrect sound deadening material placement and after correcting, the pan clipped into place. No water connections to unit."

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven making popping noises. Upon further inspection, I inspected all of the harnesses for any breaks in the wiring and found none. Tested the cooktop and found all burners are operating as designed. Removed the oven door and gained access to the bake burner and found it good. I did find the burner shutter door on the bake and broil burners wide open and allowing too much gas to escape the burner. I closed the doors approximately half way and tested the burners and they are functioning . Reassembled the unit and tested the unit in Bake mode at 350 degrees and the unit is operating as designed. During preheat and approximately 5 mins after preheat, I could hear popping noises from the metal being heated and expanding. Placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and found none. I advised the customer of my findings and the noises theyre hearing are normal. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer not cleaning. Upon further inspection, I found the unit full of water and non-responsive. I unplugged the unit and waited. Removed the control panel and plugged the unit back in and pressed the start button and the unit cancelled and began to drain the water. In doing this, I found the control and drain pump are operating as designed. Once the water was drained from the tub, I tilted the unit back and found the actuator that of the new designed and the actuator arm was not engaged with the cam shifter. I found debris within the strainer that was making contact with the impeller and removed. I tested the unit and it operated as designed. No leaks observed during service.

I tested the temps in the drum and due to poor airflow, the temps were well above the recommended temps. Arrived onsite and tested oven thoroughly for issue causing unit to stop working and go blank during preheat. Determined the range was on a non dedicated circuit that shared a gfci outlet with the counter top outlets. Determined that the customer was having to reset the gfci periodically to use the oven. advised that the oven should be on a dedicated non gfci circuit to restore proper consistent functionality. Explained that the gfci outlet can misread voltage changes as pre-indicators of harm and trip.

Arrived on site for washer not allowing any functions. Upon arrival confirmed issue and was not able to enter diagnostics due to control not responding and found cause of failure had been because drain pump and shorted out taking the controller with it. After replacing both parts and getting all those for repairs I was able to reassemble and test unit with new drain pump and control and found that unit now operated as designed except for the inlet valve on the cold side not allowing any water into the unit even though it had a proper 120 V connection. We need with customer once availability of part is known an authorization is required for the following part W11168740 inlet valve ordrng 1 W11168740 (Cold inlet valve) and 1 Cnote (Needs more autho)

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice or water properly. Found pantry control and pantry door wiring corroded as well as dispenser switch contacts sticking. All three parts will need to be replaced to complete repairs. Customer is aware of extended wait for door. ordrng 1 W10815669 (Door & control)

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Remove the back cover and plugged in the new compressor. Found the unit pulling 7.1 A and shutting off within 10 seconds. Replaced the start device with a new start device out of the compressor box and still pull the same amperage and shut down. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7734728276. He reached out to his supervisor and advised that the issues that have been found with the compressors have been issues with the parts being damaged in transit or at the distributor warehouse. He advised to order the compressor directly from Whirlpool and to have the customer reach out to customer service for any further assistance or resolution. They advise the customer of Techlines findings and the customer advised that she would contact whirlpool directly due to this ongoing issue that has not been resolved since the middle of July. Ordering the part in the meantime and the office will need to contact the customer about a return date when parts are made available. Removed access panel and found the belt was twisted, the cycling thermostat had blown apart, and the thermal fuse was open. Replaced the thermal fuse with one I had assigned, but additional parts still needed. I attempted to run a cycle and found that the unit would not agitate or spin. Upon further inspection I found that the gearcase was leaking and that there was a burning smell coming from the stator. I am ordering gearcase,stator,rotor,slider and agitator. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker harvest and it operated as designed. I tested the fill tube and there was no water being dispensed into the tray. I removed the toeplate and disconnected the fill tube at the bottom left corner and no water came out of the tube. I blew through the tube and found it was frozen/clogged. I retested the fill tube with it disconnected and water came from the valve. Once the fill was done, I monitored the tube for any weeping from the valve and found none. I removed the ice maker housing and found the fill tube frozen at the opening. Using my steamer, I removed the ice and reconnected the tubing at the bottom left corner and retested and the ice maker is operating as designed. While testing, I found the damper is making a loud chatter noise. I am ordering the damper/diffuser and scheduled return service for 11/04/22. Arrived on site for dryer not functioning correctly in overheating. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Upon further testing found that causes failure was internal within the timer and the timer internal connections were a fuse together causing power to be sent through unit when it was not turned off when designed. Arrived onsite for a vent hood with inoperable lights. Upon inspection I found that the light switch had burnt up and the switch Panel and light switch slider broken. Customer turned on the stove from the breaker and immediately I found the unit activating the broil relay and heating the broil element. Check voltage at the Royal relay and confirm that the broil relay was stuck closed. Found no wiring on the back grounding. Advise the customer that they will need a new control for repair. "Arrived on site and Found homeowner experienced heavy duty cycle drops 20 minutes while running. Specter dryer and found airflow is good and it is healing properly. Arrived onsite for refrigerator that is Not Dispensing Ice. Upon arrival I found that no one was home I call office to let them know. And was advised to wait 10mins which I did and found that one showed up.. I aged the door and moved on. .

Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed motor and run capacitor. Verified parts were needed and replaced. Unit working as designed. No leaks detected. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator making a noise thats louder than it was before. I found the refrigerator making a single and sometimes a double tap sound. I found the sound happening when I forced the dampener to close. I replaced the dampener and tested. The dampener is quiet and is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to install new icemaker and drip tray. On arrival confirmed that the bow in the drip tray was due to the bulge in the liner, which was already reported to tech Line. Replaced icemaker. Unit is already producing ice. Advised customer to follow up with us if the defrost issues return. All whirlpool recommended repair have already been performed on this unit for RC evaporator defrost issues. Call complete."

Arrived on site to test unit for unit making noise when in use. Test unit and found unit working as designed. Ran unit for 30 seconds and then 1:30. Then 2 minutes no noise at this time. Checked all the switches and diode and capacitor all test good. Job complete at this time.

"Fridge is in unit 5205. Arrived onsite for refrigerator section not cooling and freezer section frosted over. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found fridge section warm and ventilation ports blocked with ice. Condensation buildup on roof of cabinet. Freezer section is frosted. Seals are good but definitely warm air migration causing frost. Inspected cabinets and found gaps in liner in fresh food section. Called tech line for assistance. Spoke to Chris, provided SR#7734960816, recommend using part #8201711 silicon to fill the gaps. Also sent pics to tech line. Recommended unplugging unit and allow frost to thaw out. Used truck stock #8201711 silicon to follow tech recommendations. Customer will monitor. If symptoms persist will need to reach out to tech line and advise outcome of repair. Job complete"
